When are the Enemies of Jesus, Subdued Beneath his Feet? [] Four Watchmen

Questions received:
1. Can you please add more understanding to 1 Corinthians 15:25?
There it says that Jesus reigns until all his enemies are subject to him. Yet you teach that his 'thousand year' kingdom has already ended. Yet we see that all his enemies are not yet made powerless, removed, and gone.
2. When are all Jesus' enemies conquered and made subject to him?
3. What caused Jesus' thousand year kingdom to end?
4. Why would anyone want to let Satan out of the Abyss? 
5. Who was responsible for that, and why?

My reply:
Well, we've got lots of ground to cover. :)
I'll respond to each of your questions, by number.
1.)
To begin, it may help to consider a detail of the verse that follows 1Cor.15:25, and that is, 1Cor.15:26.
You may note that all the initial enemies of Jesus, are lumped together in verse 25. But in verse 26, the conquering of "Death" is mentioned separately, and as occurring after the previous enemies.

That fact is consistent with the depiction of the enemies of Jesus, contained in the book of Revelation. 
At Rev.6:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, we see the 4 living creatures. They are the 4 anointed watchmen of the night 
[Isa.21:6,8,9,10,11,12 (<Dan.8:13,14); Rev.2:28; Eze.3:16,17; 33:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9; Isa.62:6; Rev.4:6-8; Isa.62:6; Mark 13:34 NIV ; Luke 21:36]. 
These watchmen are special prophets (Hosea 9:8; Matt.11:7,9,10; 17:10,12,13,11)
(Mal.4:5; Luke 1:17; Mal.3:1,2,3; Dan.8:14; Eze.14:4,5,21,22; Rev.6:7,8; Luke 19:41,42,43,44; 21:20,21,22,23,24; Matt.24:42,29; Joel 2:31; Amos 5:18; Rom.13:12; Rev.2:28,29).
Their assignment is to remain awake spiritually, and sound a warning when God's nation is threatened by an encroaching enemy.
My reason for explaining the 4 watchmen/living creatures, is that at Rev.6:7-8 we see there depicted, that last enemy, Death (1Cor.15:26) 
and we see that it arises in the time of the 4th and last Watchman.
The previous enemies (as stated at 1Cor.15:25) arise previous to the time of the 4th Watchman.
You may also note that in the time of Death's attack; there are simultaneously, all 4 plagues released against God's nation... Sword, famine, plague, and wild beasts (Rev.6:8). God allows the release of this curse, due to His nation's gross unfaithfulness, 
just as noted in Eze.14:21,5 cited above. 
That greatest time of trouble and adversity, is the Great Tribulation. It occurs during the era of the 4th watchman, when Death yet needs to be conquered.

Now to get back to a further opening of 1Cor.15:25;
we may assume that this verse is asserting that Jesus' reign must be continual, in order for all his enemies to be subdued. It is more accurately understood as saying, that in order for all enemies to be subjugated... he must be reigning. Is there a difference? 
Yes.
Please be patient while I use an illustration to portray this truth.
A carpenter is working on a project and is using electric power tools. That project consists of 4 major tasks. We may assume that in order for his job to be finished, he works non-stop with no interruptions. But now imagine that after he completes three of the tasks, he loses electric power due to an outage. During that outage, he cannot make progress, because his tools are not working. During that interim, he is not functioning as a carpenter.
When power is restored; he resumes his work through his power tools, and completes the last of the 4 tasks. He must be working, if he wishes to finish the entire project.
Similarly,
When 1Cor.15:25 states that Jesus must be reigning in order to subdue his enemies, that does not necessarily infer that there is no interruption in his reign, between his subduing his enemies previous to Death, and his subduing the last enemy, Death (1Cor.15:26).

I do hope that at this point, you can see that there is no contradiction between 1Cor.15:25 and this blog's teaching, which asserts that the symbolic thousand year reign of Christ, ends before the conquering of the last enemy Death.

So to respond to your first two questions;
Jesus must be reigning over his living anointed slaves... 
       (through which he battles as they conquer the world as individuals -Ps.110:1,2; Rev.17:14; Eph.2:6; Rev.19:14;  2Cor.10:3-5)
...in order to make progress against his enemies. That corresponds to a carpenter needing his tools to be working, in order to finish his project.
Prophecy indicates that just as with an electric outage that disrupts the usefulness of a carpenter's tools and stops his progress;
Jesus' reign over his anointed temple priesthood, is interrupted 
(Dan.8:11,12; 7:25; 9:26,27; 11:31; Mark 13:14; Luke 21:20,24). 
Satan's victory over the anointed remnant (when he is released from the abyss), marks the end of Jesus' 'thousand year' reign over his living Body members (Rev.20:7)... interrupting the progress of subjugating his enemies, through them. That occurs during the Great Tribulation and trampling of the anointed remnant, by the Gentiles. 
It is also the period when the Gentile anti-Christ/man of lawlessness, is enthroned above God's Temple (2Thess.2:3-4; Mark 13:14) (1Cor.3:16; Eph.2:20,21,22;  1Pet. 2:5), which ends the daily sacrifices of that Temple priesthood, in their service to Christ. That is an interruption of Christ's reign over his living congregation, and ends his uninterrupted 1,000 year reign.
The last enemy Death is not conquered, until the remnant seed (also mentioned separately -Rev.12:17;  1Cor.15:23-24) of the woman covenant, conquers that last enemy to be unleashed by Satan. (Rev.20:7-8,10,14). The attack by the last enemy Death, is unleashed after Satan is liberated from the chains of the abyss. That last enemy Death is conquered, during Armageddon.

"Upon Satan's release, he goes off to wage war with the remnant of the woman's seed (Rev.20:7,8; 12:17).

resulting in the remnant of the saints, being taken captive to deception and death 
(Hosea 4:6a; John 17:3; 6:63; Eph.2:12; 4:18; Col.2:19; John 15:16).
(Rev.12:15; Col.2:8; Rev.13:10; Dan.11:33; Luke 21:24,20; Rev.20:9a).

Satan employs the dark powers of his abyss/Hades, and through his alliance with "Wormwood", releases the agents of the Abyss, upon the remnant... resulting in the captivity and spiritual death of the remnant.

When the Chosen elect then alive, become enslaved to Satan... Is Jesus still their ruling king? 
Is Jesus still the Head over his Body and Temple? 
No. 
At the time that God's Temple is overcome and trampled by the Gentile "man of lawlessness" (2Thess.2:3,4; Dan.11:36,37,38,39)... the "abomination of desolation"... the "disgusting thing, standing where it does not belong" (Mark 13:14;  1Cor.3:16,17), Satan becomes ruler over the remnant. The "thousand year" kingdom of Jesus Christ over his living saints, ends.

The period of time that we are presently in, encompasses the Great Tribulation and Armageddon. 
This is the period which the Bible refers to as Satan's "short period of time" (Mark 13:20; Rev.12:12; 20:3; Matt.24:22,32,33; Luke 21:28). 
Satan's victory over the anointed during the Great Tribulation, ends during Armageddon. The Great Tribulation and Armageddon are the interim between the end of the symbolic Thousand Year kingdom of Christ, and the start of God's eternal Kingdom.

QUESTION 2. When are all Jesus' enemies conquered and made subject to him?

The messenger of the covenant mentioned above (the 4th living creature/4th watchman), turns the hearts of God's sons, back to God 
This causes the restoration and function of God's spiritual temple and priesthood, when their being trampled, ends 
(Mal.3:1,2,3; Dan.7:25; 8:11,12,13,14; Rev.11:2,3).
Just as electrical service resumes for the carpenter's tools; the servants of Christ and members of Zion are once again found faithfully exposing the falsehoods that took them captive and made them subject to Death (Ps.110:2;  2Cor.10:4,5; Eph.6:11,12; 5:11; Mal.2:7; Rev.5:10)
(Rev.3:1,11; James 1:12; Luke 12:39; John 10:10; Heb.2:14; Rev.13:2,7,10; Col.2:8 NIV ). 
Christ is then again, reigning over his anointed congregation, and finishing the conquering of his enemies, including Death. As 1Cor.15:24,25,26,27,28 explains, the last of Christ's enemies are subdued by the remaining members of Zion...
       (Rev.12:11; 3:9;  1John 5:4; Rev.2:26,27; 3:21; Dan.7:25,21,22,26,27; Rev.15:2), 
...after which, Jesus gives their accomplishment over to God. The eternal reign of all the faithful in the kingdom of God, then commences.

QUESTION 3. What caused Jesus' thousand year kingdom to end?

Rev.20:7 states plainly, the reason why Jesus loses his authority, power and control over his temple priests. Satan's release brings with it, a sweeping power of deceptive darkness, which overtakes the remnant of anointed 
(Rev.9:1,2,3; Joel 2:1,2; Isa.59:10; Rev.8:12; Isa.60:2;  1Tim.4:1; Rev.16:13,14,15,16;  
1Kings 22:21,22,23; 
  Rev.13:7,10; Col.2:8 NIV ; Dan.8:12; Matt.24:5,24,25,22)
Satan's is then able to mislead the previously enlightened nations belonging to God (1Pet.2:9,10; Rev.20:3;  1John 5:19; Matt.16:18), 
during the Great Tribulation (Dan.8:11,12,24; Col.2:19; John 15:5,6).
 
QUESTION 4. Why would anyone want to let Satan out of the Abyss? 

The first thing to keep in mind is that Revelation is written in symbolism. Jesus has bound Satan in order to prevent his ability to mislead Christ's anointed priests 
(Mark 3:27; Rev.20:3; Luke 10:17,18,19;  1John 2:20). 

Neither the chains nor the abyss, are literal or physical.
If Satan is enabled to gain his power to deceive the anointed, that would be symbolically depicted as his release from that previous constraint.
To understand Why Satan is released, we must first understand How Satan is released.
In order for Satan to be able to mislead the saints, the saints must be apt to be guided and nurtured by an agent of Satanic and demonic deception. Such false prophets are a reality 
2Cor.11:3,4,5,12,13,14,15;  2Tim.3:13; Matt.24:24,25;  1Cor.10:21;  1Tim.4:1; Rev.2:20; 16:13,14; 19:20; 13:14,7,10; Col.2:8 NIV  

If a genuine steward appointed by Christ (Luke 12:42) becomes unfaithful, he will not be providing the proper food (fine fruit/the truth) at the proper time (when needed). Those eating from that leader's table, are not receiving the truth 
(Isa.28:7,8,15; 42:22; 49:24,25; Mark 3:27; Rev.20:2; Luke 10:19; Matt.16:18).
Why might such a steward, compromise to teach demonic lies, rather than the truths of Jesus?
Anointed ones have free will, and those still immature are not immune to being corrupted by worldly desire. 
They are warned to reject the enticements of Satan's world 
(Num.15:39;  1John 2:15-17; James 4:4; John 18:36).

Jesus said that the faithful would be required to walk the path he walked (1Pet.2:21;  1John2:6; Luke 22:28,29), 
   despite Satanic testing (Luke 22:31;  1Pet.5:8). 
The path of Jesus, started out with Satanic temptation (Luke 4:5,6; Matt.4:8,9,10). 
What did the Satanic test at Luke 4:5,6 consist of?
Satan offered Jesus worldly blessing and power, in exchange for subjection.
When the anointed follow in the footsteps of Jesus, they also are offered this enticement. 
The wicked steward, fails that test. 
He accepts the powers, riches, prominence, and authority offered by this world (Rev.18:3,7,11,12,13,14,15,16,17). But... they must also pay Satan's price. That one must become a servant of Satanic interests.... primary of which, is the enslavement of the saints who are under the guardianship of that wicked steward 
(Gal.4:1,2,3,8,9; Rom.6:16; Gal.1:10;  1Cor.7:23).

Even if such a pawn of Satan is unaware of his role in misleading God's elect; there will be times when that leader will knowingly compromise the truth, in favor of retaining his worldly position of prominence, authority, riches, and power (Mark 10:42,43,44,45;  1Pet.5:3;  2Cor.1:24). He will go so far as to "beat his fellow slaves" in order to prevent them from exposing the wicked slave's unfaithfulness (Luke 12:45; Isa.28:7,8).
We saw a clear example of this type of leadership, in the first century 
(John 11:47,48; 9:22; 8:13,23,37,40,43,47; Matt.23:2,4,5,6,7,25,28,30,31,32,34,35; Rev.18:24).

Such leaders turn away from God's protection and care, to garner the power of those outside God's spiritual nation (John 19:10,11,12,15; Jer.17:5). God considers this type of alliance, spiritual fornication (Eze.23:35; Isa.36:6) 

It is not as if the wicked steward is consciously aware that while teaching false doctrine to those in their charge, that they are releasing Satan's power to deceive. But when an anointed steward fails the test of worldly enticement and accepts the luxuries and power that only the world can afford them, there is a price to pay. Worldly position among false religious leaders, must be guarded and preserved in order to be retained. Misleading others always becomes necessary. By doing so, that compromising leader, unwittingly enters into a covenant with the Deceiver.
These precise events are depicted for us in prophecy, Bible history, and the book of Revelation...

Faithful anointed stewards/true prophets, are depicted as sources of light (John 5:35; Phil.2:15; Matt.5:15; Rev.1:20; Dan.12:3).
At Rev.8:10,11, we see one of them "fall" from that approved position (2Pet.3:17;  1Cor.10:12; Rev.2:5).
At Rev.9:1 we see what the king of the Abyss gives that fallen one, in exchange for that compromise Rev.9:11 NIV ; Isa.33:1 NIV 
It is a key, which represents the ability to open (or shut) a realm/authority/power (Isa.22:22).
The realm which the fallen star opens, is the abyss (Rev.9:2).
The deep, dark abyss represents Satan's power to deceive. 
Those who reside in that spiritual pit, are deceived and veiled from seeing God's light 
(2Cor.4:4; Isa.5:20; Luke 11:35;  1John 4:1;  2Cor.13:5; Matt.24:24,25). 

Every powerful lying sign and portent is made available to the fallen star/false prophet, Wormwood... along with her receiving the power of Satan's supportive beast, comprised of Gentiles (Rev.13:1,2,11,12,14,15; 16:13; 19:20; 17:3,15; 18:3,7,20,24; 19:2). In exchange, Wormwood opens the abyss, releasing Satan, which symbolizes his power to deceive the saints. That is symbolically depicted for us, as Satan's release from the abyss.

Hopefully you are able to perceive the answer to you question; "Why would anyone want to let Satan out of the abyss?". 
When a genuine anointed steward of Jesus Christ is willing to compromise truth in order to garner and maintain worldly power, that one unwittingly enters a covenant with Satan, and fails the temptation of Luke 4:5,6. It is not that they consciously want to release Satan's power to deceive those under their care. That is simply the consequence of their unfaithfulness.

As explained, 
a genuine anointed steward who compromises the truth of Christ in order to preserve their worldly power, 
is responsible for unleashing the power of Satanic deception onto those who follow that prophet.

Victory of Christ

QUESTION:
Good morning Pearl…I am reading all you post…but the 1000 year reign of Christ doesn’t fail does it?  1Cor.15:24 indicates that he is successful.  I am confused.  Thank you for any clarification you can give on this verse."

MY REPLY:
1Cor.15:24 tells us that at the END, Jesus will have success. 
It also tells us that at the END, all enemies will have been conquered. It also tells us that at that point (all enemies conquered and Jesus is successful) that Jesus gives over that accomplishment to the Father.

All that the verse teaches, is telling us about the final result in the end.
This verse does NOT tell us, everything that lead up to the end.
Jesus being successful, does not necessitate that he did not have any problems leading up to that success... 
nor does it tell us that all Christ's success occurs during the "thousand years".

Are you thinking that the full success of Jesus (as expressed at 1Cor. 15:24), is established previous to the end of his 1,000 year reign?
If so, it is clear that you could benefit from learning the actual timeline of events.
Although I hope to make a video in an attempt to make that timeline crystal clear, for now,
Please read Rev.20:7-8....
"7 Now when the thousand years have ended, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea."

Can you see there that Jesus kingdom of 1,000 years is said to be finished, 
and yet,
do you also see that ALL his enemies are not yet subdued beneath his feet?
Therefore, the full success of Jesus, in subduing all his enemies,
is not completed during his 1000 year reign.
You may notice in the verses that follow (1Cor. 15:25-26), "all enemies" but one are mentioned in verse 25. 
Verse 26 singles out the last enemy, Death. That last enemy is mentioned separately, because unlike the previous enemies; 
Death must be conquered after the 1000 year reign.

The Watchtower left us with a perverse timeline that is not scriptural.
Although it's doctrine agrees with the last enemy being conquered after the 1000 years; it teaches that the 1000 years take place, after Armageddon. That is not true, as is proven by scripture in many posts in this blog. The very battle referred to at Rev.20:7-8 cited above, IS Armageddon. As you can see from verse 7, it also occurs after the 1000 year kingdom of Christ.
The simplified, proper sequence of events, is:
*Christ enthroned in the first century, for a symbolic 1000 years
*Satan released/1000 years ends
*Great Tribulation/Death reigns over the remnant
*Armageddon/Death conquered by Christ and the remnant
*God's eternal Kingdom by Christ and his victorious heirs of 144000 and Great Crowd

First, Jesus is enthroned/becomes king, in the 1st century 
(Luke 22:69; Acts 2:33; Ps.110:1-2; *1Cor. 15:25* Rev.3:21).
During that symbolic 1,000 year kingdom, Jesus is progressively gathering into his storehouse during their lifetime... 
   Matt.28:20; Matt.24:34> Ps.112:2; Ps.14:5 NKJV
...all the anointed who prove faithful... his symbolic 144000 
(Luke 22:31; Matt.13:38; 3:12; Rev.14:14-16). 
The ruling scepter of Jesus is extended through the faithful conquerors of the world, Mount Zion 
(Rev.14:1; Psalm 110:2; Heb.12:22-23; Ps.110:1-2;  1Cor. 15:25). 
They rule with him during that thousand year kingdom, because with his help and spirit, they are conquering the enemies of Christ 
(Rev.20:6;  2Tim. 2:3;  2Cor. 10:3-5; Rev.17:14; Eph.6:11-12;  1John 5:4). 

Next,
As Rev.20:7-8 told us, the 1,000 year kingdom of Jesus ends when Satan is released from the abyss.
Satan's release causes 
*powerful, lying signs and portents/wonders (2Thess. 2:9-10,11-12;  1Tim. 4:1), 
*captivity to deception   and war... 
...the great tribulation leading into Armageddon.

That deception includes a misleading, trampling, mental captivity, torment, sifting, and seduction into idolatry of the anointed remnant who come through the time of the end...
(Col.2:8; Luke 21:24; Rev.13:10,7;  1Tim. 4:1; Rev.16:13-14; Matt.24:24-25,4-5)
...which captivity and trampling is imposed by the agents/army, of the dark powers of the abyss*, through whom the Great Tribulation is unleashed**.
This is when the "abomination of desolation"/"disgusting thing, standing in the holy place"/"standing where it does not belong"/"Jerusalem surrounded"....
         Luke 21:20; Rev.20:9,7-9; Rev.11:5,3-5; Jer.5:14 NIV 
.... arises. 

That abomination/idol, is the Anti-Christ/"man of lawlessness"... who has taken his throne over God's anointed Temple priesthood... trampling them into submission to his own idolatrous Image (Rev.13:15,7-8; 2:20).
(Matt.24:15-16; Luke 21:20-22; Rev.20:9; Mark 13:14;  2Thess. 2:3-4; Dan.7:21,25; Dan.8:11,12,13,14,17,24,25; Dan.11:31,32,33,36,37;  2Thess. 2:4).
When you read that last set of scriptures, ask yourself...
  Is Jesus still ruling over his anointed while they are being trampled and subject to Gentiles? 
  Is Jesus' scepter still being extended through the living members of Zion?
  Or, has his 1,000 year authority and power over his living anointed, come to an halt?
 
The 1000 years were successful, for their purpose... to gather in the 144000.
But after the 1000 years, there is more to do before all enemies are subdued. 
As 1Cor. 15:26 states, the last enemy Death yet needs to be conquered, and will be, during Armageddon. 
Those anointed who battle with Jesus in the time of the end, are not the original 144000 of the first resurrection. They are the Great Crowd who come through the Great Tribulation.
They are the symbolic "third" who repent of their idolatry.
No... those who battle with Christ at Armageddon against the last enemy Death, 
are those faithful anointed, alive at that time. They are the "great crowd" 
(Rev.7:13-14; 19:1; Eze.14:22-23).

Heb.4:12; Jer.23:29; Rev.19:11; 17:14;  2Cor. 10:3-5

Out of regard for how Watchtower indoctrination had damaged our belief in truth, it is imperative that we do as Jesus suggested...
get a new wine-skin to hold new wine (Mark 2:22). 
We should not take any teachings with us when we exit (Luke 17:30-32; 21:21-22; Jer.51:6 NIV   Rev.18:4) but rather, 
with a mind that is free of preconception, sample the provisions of the marriage feast (Matt.22:8-10; 24:16; Eze.36:8) Luke 17:37 NKJV . 
We can't hold on to old fallacies if we hope to have mental room for the truth. We must learn afresh, from the scriptures.

This has been an extremely brief summary of a corrected chronology. Many questions arise from this accurate explanation of this prophetic scenario. Many posts at the blog address the details. The Last Enemy, Death

 QUESTION ASKED:

What did Apostle Paul mean by saying, the last enemy to be destroy is "death''?

REPLY:

We find the emergence of the last enemy, Death, at Rev.6:7-8. 
"His" forces... (Heb.2:14; John10:10; Rev.9:11; Isa.33:1) (Eph.2:2; Rev.16:13-16; 20:7-9; 12:15,17; 13:4,7,10; Col.2:8; Luke 21:24) ...arise in the time of the 4th living creature/watchman (Rev.6:7-8), during the great tribulation (Eze.14:21-22,5; Rev.13:14-15; 19:20; 2:20). This "Death" is not speaking of physical death, which has existed since Eden (Rom.5:12), but the power to bring spiritual death, to those who were born again as spirit 
(Rom.8:9; 1Pet.1:23) (John3:6; 6:63; 2Cor.11:4; 1Tim.4:1; Rev.3:11 > James 1:12) (Rev.3:1-2).

It is that 4th "living creature", who gives voice to the "7 angels" (Rev.15:7; 16:1; 8:2; Isa.58:1), through which, God's wrath against His enemies, is dispensed (Rev.16:1; 15:1). The "trumpets"/voices of the seven "angels">(Greek:messengers) symbolizes, the recorded words of the prophets, who were sent by Jesus to his congregations/churches (Rev.1:20; Phil.2:15; Dan.12:3,10,4; Rev.22:10,16; 10:7). They manifest the spirit of prophecy into the earth (Rev.19:10; 1:4; 3:1; 4:5; 5:6; 1Cor.14:32).

Death is one of the enemies of Christ, that needs to be subdued by him through the power of God (Ps.110:1-2; 1Cor.15:25), in order for God's kingdom to arrive (1Cor.15:24-26; Rev.20:14; 21:4; Isa.25:7-8). 
It is conquered through the remnant of Zion/Christ's brothers (Ps.110:2; Rev.17:14; 19:11,14; Eph.2:6; 2Cor.10:3-5)-(Mark 14:62; Heb.12:1; Rev.11:3,5; Jer.5:14) - (1Cor.15:53-55; Rev.2:7,10-11,28; 3:5; Mark 8:35; Rev.12:10-11) when they face and conquer the forces that bear the sting of Death (Rev.9:3,10; 1Cor.15:55,57).

When do the Twelve Apostles, judge the Twelve tribes?

  [First, I just need to state the point that when called and chosen by God, it is not an invitation that can be refused (Rom.11:29). One becomes either faithful or unfaithful. Rev.17:14]

Likely Peter did not yet realize that all anointed would have to leave "everything to follow" Christ (Luke 9:23; Mark 8:34-5)...not just the apostles. He also may not have yet realized, that these twelve apostles, as such, (1Cor.12:28,29) would occupy "first" place in the rank of the entire anointed body of Christ. They would be the foundation of faith, for all temple stones to follow them (Rev.21:14; 1Pet.2:5; Eph.2:20-22).
When Jesus told them that they would judge the tribes of Israel, they may have been thinking "fleshly" Israel. (Acts 1:6; Gal.4:25) rather than the Israel of God to come (Rom.9:6; 2:28-29; Gal.3:2; 6:16). They viewed the restoration of God's people, also as literal. 
See what God had in mind... 

"3 The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will bring my people Israel and Judah back from captivity and restore them to the land I gave their ancestors to possess,’ says the Lord.”

I suggest reading the entire chapters of Jer.30 and Jer.31, for those who recognize the connection to Revelation.

Built on the apostolic foundation, all other parts of the Israel of God, would be in subjection to these who are "first".
This is demonstrated, when all anointed "parts" of Christ's body, subject themselves to the Greek scriptures, which were written largely by these 12.

Jesus here tells Peter, exactly how these would be "first". He says that they will "judge" the "tribes of Israel". These twelve are the main part of the "foundation" of the Holy City (Eph.2:19,20; 3:5; Rev.21:14); and they determine all those to be "built up" upon them/their foundation (1Cor.3:9,10; Eph.2:21). Those tribes that were to come, are referred to in Rev.7:4. There it speaks of those who attain a seal to become established as part of the 12 tribes of the 144,000, built upon the "foundation" of the 12 apostles.

As stated at Rev.7:4, these are sealed from among the twelve tribes. In other words, those being selected, are from a pool of the twelve tribes of spiritual Jews (Rom.2:29; Gal.3:29), people in Covenant with God..."Israelites" (Gal.6:15,16). They have all been offered a promise from God....That should they prove faithful and endure to the end, they will become sealed heirs with Christ. (1Cor.4:1,2; Matt.24:13)

Not all who are bought with Christ's blood (Rev.5:9,10) succeed in winning that race (1Cor.9:24,25; Luke21:36; Matt.24:13; Mark 8:35; Rev.3:11; 2Pet.2:1; Matt.22:14). Jesus heeds the One who determines who gains life (Rev.3:5; 20:15; 13:8; Dan.12:1)(Rev.7:2-4; John6:27; 2Cor.1:21-22; John18:9)
Who assist in judging the winners of the seal? Here Jesus tells the twelve apostles, that it will be them.... just as the 12 sons of Jacob/fleshly Israel, had a tribe of sons under each of them.
When do the twelve begin this job of judging the candidates....which started to be chosen in the first century, up until our present time? I offer you what the scriptures indicate as possible answers.

First possibility...if the apostles are written in the Lamb's scroll of life, but rest in their grave until the end...this would mean that they would need to be conscious for the judging of the last chosen ones...the remnant to come out of the Great Tribulation. Judging those who preceded the remnant, would not have to be judged during the time in which they lived, because their record of deeds could be brought up and judged at the same time that the remnant are being judged. The final ones could not be sealed without the conscious presence of the apostles, because if they are to judge the 12 tribes....these could not all be sealed without their passing judgment.
We are told that judgment takes place in the time of the end (Rev.20:11-13), based upon the teachings of Jesus (John12:48), which were recorded by the apostles.

Second possibility...Jesus said that many living during his era would not see death at all. We are also told that many pass directly from death to life....a living condition in spirit. Other men of faith are also mentioned as "living" to ×™×”וה, YHVH God. These are in the "memorial tombs". But Ec.9:5,6 tells us that the "living" are conscious that they will die; but as for the "dead" "the remembrance of them is forgotten". Although we have been previous taught by the WT that this is applied physically, I see it as spiritual......

"For the living know that they will die,
    but the dead know nothing;

they have no further reward,
    and even their name is forgotten.
  Their love, their hate
    and their jealousy have long since vanished;
never again will they have a part

These "dead" are "forgotten". I suspect they are not in the "memorial tombs" awaiting resurrection (John5:28,29).
As these verses state..."they have no further reward" and "never again will they have a part in anything".
I strongly suspect that in God's eyes, they were spiritually dead, and have no future reward, nor life, under God's Kingdom/"anything that happens under the sun" (Mal.4:2; Rev.22:16). (Col.2:13; Eph.2:1; 1Tim.5:6).
Those deemed as worthy of a place in God's memory, (viewed by Him as good as living); seem capable of physical death. As Ec.9:5 stated, "the 'living' are conscious that they will die".
So we see it is likely that those who were faithful before Christ died (in every sense), although saved in God's memory for a future time, when they would be "made perfect" through a future City prepared for them (Heb.11:13,16,39,40), did indeed "die".

My point is that up until the apostles, faithful men died and became unconscious.
What about after Jesus came?
John11:25,26 reads...
"Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

This riddle contains our answer, as to whether the apostles transferred from physical life to spiritual life, without ever dying. If so, it would enable them to judge chosen anointed, during the period in which each of those anointed ones lived.
Please also consider John6:47,50,51,58; John8:51; John5:24; 1John3:14 which show that not only may the apostles have never died, all faithful anointed attain this life. 
See also 1Cor.15:20-26...
"But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, those who belong to him at his presence. (Matt.24:3) 24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death."
1Cor.15:51-54 reads;
"51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed – 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet (Rev.11:15). For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: ‘Death has been swallowed up in victory.’ (1Cor.15:26)
When we read;
"The rest of the dead did not come to life until the Thousand Years has ended" (Rev.20:5)
It is speaking of 'coming to life' in spirit, through faithfulness (Eph.2:1). 
The 144000 of the first resurrection (Rev.7:3-4; 14:1,4-5; 20:4,5-6) gained their spiritual standing of life, during the symbolic "thousand year" rule of Jesus Christ. 
The "rest"/remnant do not come to life until after the "thousand years", because they go through the Great Tribulation, when Satan is released and wages a successful war against these remaining ones/remnant of the woman's seed (Rev.20:7-9; 12:17; Luke21:20; Rev.13:7). To gain God's favor of life (Rev.2:10; James 1:12), they must conquer and prove victorious amid the idolatry toward the two beasts (Rev.13:1,11,15,7-8,13; Col.2:8; Luke 21:24; Rev.15:2) (Eze.37:5,14; Rev.11:11)
This last enemy death, is not fully destroyed until all are resurrected to life. This is not talking about the first resurrection of the priests and kings, who are said to get life first. (Rev.20:4,6)

We know that Christ's "presence" with his anointed, started in the first century and was promised to last until the end (see Matt.28:20 B)...
" And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

From all these foregoing scriptures, it would seem that anointed faithful are "written in heaven" as worthy of life (Luke 10:20; Heb.12:22-23), even while they are still living their physical lifetimes. 
We are told that we must be born again as spirit, in order to inherit the kingdom of God (John3:3,6).
There were those said to be so born, in the first century (1Pet.1:23). Did Peter speak of an assurance, a hope... or a present reality? 
Perhaps we should realize that the timing does not matter. What does matter, is how one is judged by God. If we receive a favorable standing; the fulfillment of God's promises are sure and guaranteed. Eternal life is given, regardless of when it is bestowed.
Were the apostles "changed" in the twinkle of an eye, but "never died"  upon their physical deaths (John11:26)?
Note 1Cor.15:50-55...
"I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. The promise is sure. Paul does not give undue attention to a calendar, but to the situation and circumstances. I agree with him. What matters is the victory over death and the grace of God... not the date upon which it happens.

The "sleep" referred to here (1Cor.15:51) is the state of temporary death (John11:11,12,13).
Paul is saying that not all will fall asleep in death. Yet clearly....some will (Matt.25:5; Luke 21:36 ESV) (Remember John11:25,26 ?)
Jesus said that those who "believe in him, though he dies, will live".
And of another group, "and whoever lives by believing in me will never die"
I see two groups....
1. Those already born of "incorruptible seed" (1Pet.1:23; John1:13; James 1:18; 1Pet.1:3; 1John3:9) will never die,
    but have already "passed over, from death to life" (the first resurrection -Rev.20:4,5-6)
2. Those who were dead in their sin of idolatry (Eph.2:1-2; Col.2:13; Rev.3:1; 13:7-8), but subsequently gained victory over that idolatry (Rev.15:2; 14:5) and came to life spiritually, by securing divine favor (Rev.3:5).

Why then does Paul refer to the first resurrection as occurring "at the last trumpet"?
I personally remain open to this arrival of the "seventh trumpet", as being within the heart of each sealed one.....just as the arrival of the daystar is (2Pet.1:19; 1Pet.1:22,23); which according to vision given me, occurs at the end of the "seven times". Each time carries with it, a symbolic "milestone" of accomplishment, within the heart of each anointed one, until they reach the full maturity of Christ (Eph.4:13; Heb.5:14; 1Cor.2:6).

So...how did the twelve apostles judge each chosen anointed one throughout time?
While I am not positively sure at this time, I hope the scriptures I have shared with you help you to see a good possibility, that the testimony the apostles gave, are a basis for judgment. Attaining spirit life now, is possible by gaining God's favor during our time in the flesh (2Cor.5:10). The timing of when eternal life is bestowed, I see as irrelevant.
If the first resurrection does not occur until a future common "seventh trumpet", when all will be raised at the same time chronologically and physically; then however and whenever the apostles do their judging of those sealed;
all scripture will be fulfilled and proven true.
If Holy Spirit widens my understanding of this, I will post more on the subject.

Those not anointed-what benefit now?

I RECEIVED TWO QUESTIONS:

1. Why did God not simply decree that all who would obey Him could live forever?

Actually, God has made this decree quite clear, numerous times.
It began in Eden.
When God gave Adam and Eve perfect, endless life; it is reasonable to assume that they would have retained this, if they had obeyed him. He in effect, decreed endless life for obedience, when he notified Adam and Eve of the alternate consequences of disobedience (Gen.2:17).
Living forever has requirements. "simply" stating that obedience leads to eternal life, could be misleading, because obedience and the knowledge that leads to it, is not "simple", because Satan is constantly working (with powerful signs and portents) to veil the path to life 
(Hosea 4:6; Isa.5:13;  2Cor. 4:3; Rev.12:9; 13:14;  2Thess. 2:9-10).

Remember that Job also revealed his hope of "living again" based upon his sustained efforts to please God (Job 14:14-15; Job 1:1,5). This resurrection hope is attested to throughout the Hebrew writers.
And then of course, we know that Christ brought with him the confirmation of that hope 
(Matt.7:21;  1John 2:17; Acts 17:31;  2Pet. 1:19; John 11:25; 5:28-29).

You may wonder though,
Why do obedient ones still have to die before they receive eternal life (Jude 1:21)?

We are all born corrupt and sinful. And as we know, sin brings forth death
(Rom.3:23; James 1:15; Rom.5:12).
We can not redeem ourselves nor our fellow humans, even if we are obedient (Psalm 49:7-8,9-10).
But now that the ransom is paid, why are we still dying?
The life we look for, is not physical (John 3:3-6; 6:63). If we receive spirit life, we may also have the physical, because we can exist in both natures (Rom.8:9;  1Pet. 3:18; John 20:19;  1Cor. 15:45,22). Yet we must not live according to the flesh (Rom.8:5-6,2,9-10,11,13).

The kingdom of God has not yet arrived.

The kingdom of God arrives, when all Christ's enemies, are brought to nothing (Ps.110:1;  1Cor. 15:25) and Jesus hands his victory, over to his Father (1Cor.15:24). The reason why we still die physically, previous to the arrival of God's Kingdom, is because, Death, is Christ's last enemy (1Cor.15:26).
The subduing of Christ's enemies, is through members of heavenly Zion (Ps.110:1-2; Rev.2:26-27;  2Cor. 10:3-5). Before the last enemy (Death) is conquered, it must arise and battle with those who have already been granted life (John 5:24; 6:50; 3:6-7;  1John 3:14; Rev.6:7-8). After Satan's release from the abyss (Rev.20:7-8) he wages war with the last of the anointed (Rev.12:17; 17:14). Satan is able for a time, to bring them under the power of his agents of death (Rev.13:7; 9:10; 13:10; Luke 21:24; Col.2:8). Only by conquering the agents of the abyss of death, is death finally conquered (1Cor.15:55; Rom.6:5; Rev.12:11; Mark 8:35; Luke 21:19). This is accomplished during the time of the fourth living creature/last watchman (Rev.6:7; 20:9,14; 11:5; 12:10-11) and the fourth Beast. 

Previous to the arrival of God's Kingdom, Satan's authority and dominion (deception and death -John 8:44; Rev.12:9; 20:10 a; Rev.16:13-16; Matt.24:4-5), still exist (1John 5:19; Heb.2:14). Jesus will soon reverse Satan's authority over death (Heb.2:14,15;  1John 3:8; Rev.1:18; 3:7; Matt.16:19; Isa.22:22; John 20:23), when his kingdom/Temple is finally finished with construction (Eph.2:20-22;  1Pet. 2:5;  1Cor. 3:16), and all it's members successfully "conquer" Satan (Rev.12:10,11,7,8) with God's and Christ's power (Rom.16:20; Gen.3:15; Luke 10:19).
That conquering (Rev.12:10,11) means life (Rev.2:7,10; 3:21; James 1:12; Matt.24:13).
(1Cor.15:24,25,28,26; John 5:24;  1John 3:14; 2:10; 5:2; Eze.37:14; Rom.8:13)
This conquering of Satan and his seed (previous to Satan's release from the abyss), occurs during Christ's kingdom of a "thousand years" by the symbolic 144,000 (not by the remnant). 

When Satan is released, there is a "short period of time" between the end of Christ's kingdom and the start of God's kingdom, in which the great tribulation and Armageddon take place. During that time, the agents of Death take captive God's remnant of Chosen priests (Rev.13:10; Col.2:8; Matt.24:24-25) and cause their sacrifices to God, to be suspended (Dan.7:7,21,25-27; 8:10-12,17,19,24-25;  2Thess. 2:8) (Dan.11:31-33; Luke 21:24; Dan.8:13; Rev.11:2; 13:7), as the Temple is being trampled by Satan's agents, the "Gentiles". 
During that Great Tribulation, death becomes king, even over the remaining ones of womans' seed, the remnant.

That "fear of death" (Heb.2:14,15) includes a fear of it's agents (Jer.1:8,17; Rev.13:4,7), whose agents can hold the chosen ones under the power of the abyss of deception and death (Rev.9:1,3,10) after Satan is released from the abyss (Rev.9:1,11; 13:4,7; Luke 21:20; Rev.20:8-9).
God has told us not to fear the faces of these ones (Prov.29:25; Eze.2:6; Isa.51:12; Jer.1:8,17,19; Eze.3:9; 28:24) (see NKJV for Jer.1:8 "faces"), who only have the faces of men...not of gods (Rev.9:7; Eze.28:2,9; Isa.2:22).
If we fear them more than Almighty God (Isa.51:12; Ps.118:6; 9:20; Jer.17:5); then we commit idolatry (2Thess.2:4; Rev.13:8; Num.14:9,24,37,38). We must fear God alone (Jer.17:7; Matt.10:28; Rev.14:7; 4:11).
Once we are freed from this captivity (Rev.13:10,16; 9:14; Heb.2:15; Luke 10:19) (Gal.2:4; Col.2:8; John 8:32); we are freed from slavery to these agents (Rev.9:5,10;  1Cor. 7:23; 15:55,56,57,54) and their power (Rom.8:2; 6:16,22; John 8:32,36; Jer.31:11). Death, is then, conquered by the remnant and their supporters.

The anointed do not enter into glorious life, without all these requirements...
 obedience AND the ransom of Jesus Christ AND the end of Satan's power over them (2Tim.2:12; Rev.17:4; Rom.6:5; Rev.3:21;  1John 5:4; Rev.19:14; Eph.2:6).
The end of Satan's power has occurred with individual anointed ones (1Pet.5:10;  1John 2:14; Eph.1:20,21,22,23), up to and including some of the remnant. Once judicially establish that the bride/administration/temple is completed, God proceeds to condemn the false prophet, wild beast, and Satan (Rev.20:10-11; 17:1,11,16-17) as His initial acts as King. Although the judicial basis for God's kingdom by Christ and the anointed has been established, the blessing of eternal life has not yet been physically applied to all creation (1John 5:19; Luke 4:8; John 17:15;  1John 5:18; Gal.1:4; Rom.8:19,25).
  This brings us smoothly into your next question...

2. Who besides anointed Christians are experiencing benefits from Jesus' sacrifice and life?
    How will these receive benefit?

We know that the anointed enter into the kingdom through many tribulations (Acts 14:22;  2Tim. 3:12;  1Pet. 4:13;  2Cor. 1:5; Rom.8:17; Col.1:13). This is compared to the labor a woman suffers and endures, before her child is born (John 3:3-4,5-6; 16:21,22,6; Isa.26:17; Rev.12:2).
Rom.8:4,9,11,13-14; Eph.2:2; Gal.5:16,25

This illustration of "childbirth" scripturally applies to many prophecies.
For example...
*The progression of the anointed from conception/"begotten" of incorruptible seed to  "birth"/seal. (Mark 13:8; Matt.24:8; John 16:21,22; Isa.26:17)
*The consequences to come upon the wicked (Hosea 13:13; Micah 4:9;  1Thess. 5:3)
*The pain of creation since it's fall into sin (Rom.8:22).
*The agony the New Covenant-mother/Jerusalem above, goes through (made of those already sealed) until all her full number of firstborn sons are completed 
(Isa.37:3; Rev.12:1,2,5; Gal.4:19;  1Thess. 2:7;  3John 1:4).

Throughout the spiritual maturation process/cleansing, refinement of a chosen one, they are under a promise (New Covenant/mother in heaven Gal.4:26,28). This compares to a child developing in the womb. (Ps.110:3;  1Thess. 5:5; Judges 5:2; Micah 5:7; Gal.4:19) Once sealed (and born), they continue that growth, to become full representatives of that Covenant (Christ's 'Bride'/"Christ fully formed in you") and offer it's benefits to others as that mother in heaven (2Cor.5:20;  1Cor. 4:1; Isa.42:6; Acts 13:47; John 7:38; Rev.22:17; Matt.5:14). These sealed ones are no longer subject to death (Rev.20:4,5,6; John 5:24;  1John 3:14). They bring Christ's kingdom into the midst of fallen mankind...
to offer life by means of truth and light.... given them by Holy Spirit.
These symbolic "trees of life" (Ps.1:1-2,3; Rev.22:1-2; John 15:16; Matt.7:20), offer "fine fruit" that provides spiritual healing (James 5:14-15,16). That "fruit" is their testimony of truth from in their hearts (Luke 6:43-45) wherein holy spirit, lives (Eph.2:22; John 7:38-39;  2Cor. 1:22;  1Cor. 6:19; Matt.10:20).

When the agents of life, provide the fruit/sayings of life, so that others who hear and accept (John 13:20; Luke 10:16), might also live (John 6:63; 12:49; 20:21).... then the heavenly "mother" covenant/promise, made to the Chosen, is fulfilled. They are now that woman/covenant in heaven (Eph.2:6) and permanent members of that "City"/Temple (Rev.3:12; Prov.9:1).
(Luke 17:20,21,23,24;  2Cor. 5:18,19,20; Matt.5:14,16;  1Pet. 2:9; Mal.2:7; John 7:28-29; 14:16,17,26; 15:26; 16:7).
They can then offer living water, to all (Rev.22:17; 19:9; Matt.22:8-10)... to their children that accept their new parents.

The final covenant, the Kingdom Covenant, is the last Covenant needed. It provides a mother covenant for the last phase of God's purpose....to restore all things, in heaven and on earth, to righteous perfection and life. (Matt.6:10; Rev.21:3; Rom.8:19,21; Matt.17:11)
This does not occur under the New Covenant.
The purpose of the New Covenant, is to give spirit life to those who will rise first. Under God's eternal Kingdom, they support the implementation of the Kingdom Covenant, as they slave for God  and the representation of His Kingdom present on earth (Rev.22:3; 21:1; Dan.2:35,44-45; Zech.4:8-10,13-14)... the "two witnesses"/"Great Crowd"/"remaining ones" of the New Covenant seed.

This new creation mother Kingdom covenant, will provide life and "seed" for the earth. (Psalm 37:11,29) This mother was human, as well as being spirit. So too was the Son of Man human...the new "father" of earthly creation (Isa.9:6; Matt.12:8;  1Cor. 15:45).

Once the New Covenant promise is fulfilled, the remaining members of the "Bride"/"late harvest" (Amos 7:1; Rev.20:5 a Rev.12:17; 6:11; 11:7; 7:14;  1Thess. 4:15-16,17; John 11:26) (who are present at Christ's return, and usher in/belong to the new Kingdom Covenant) are refined and made ready. This new Bride/woman/covenant (containing the complete spirit of truth) will "come down from heaven", symbolically (Eph.2:6; Heb.12:22-23) to offer perfect truth and life to everyone else.
This will soon include those who have died. (Rev.22:17; John 4:14; Acts 24:15; John 11:25-26)
The New Covenant is in force for all those redeemed by the blood of Christ. It did not establish life for physical creation now. It provides spirit life now for "the new creation", who are spirit sons of God. (Rom.8:14; John 3:6;  1Pet.1:23)
Those who accept the blessings of this seed, (by listening to them and not persecuting and killing them- Matt.25:40; 10:40-41), go to move ahead in God's purpose.....becoming recipients of the next promise/Covenant....
the one having come down from heaven, New Jerusalem.
This is the final Covenant/woman. It will last forever as the Bride of Christ the King. By means of this Kingdom Covenant; God's promises, Creations' restoration, and God's last creative day, is finally brought into complete fulfillment (Matt.12:8; Heb.4:11).
God...and the rest of His creation, will finally enter God's rest....the eternal Sabbath....when our Father in Heaven can finally declare that he sees all he has made, and it is eternally, very good...as it was before sin ever corrupted it. (Gen.1:31;  1Cor.15:24)

Someday...the Kingdom Covenant will also be fulfilled... by the birth to eternal life of the entire human race seed, who also must accept and listen to the spirit sons of God (who were the promised seed of the woman/New Covenant). Already "living" due to the spirit of God within them, they are now the Kingdom Covenant/woman/mother from heaven. This Bride of Christ becomes the mother of eternal life for the resurrection/restoration of Creation.
Those who accept the guidance of Christ's Bride, to share in the conquering of Death, will also live.
  *But note also at Rev.22:17, that "anyone 'hearing' " (Matt.13:16), can also share in doing
   the inviting to the marriage feast. Any who partake of and appreciate the opening of the scrolls,
   can share the provisions with others, by inviting them to the same feast of living waters.
   In doing so, the "crowds can be fed" (Mark 6:41-42) by "five loaves"
   (Matt.25:1-2,10; John 12:24;  1Cor. 10:17) and a "two fishes" ["Gentiles" (not anointed)
   that are harvested from Satan's "sea" (Matt.13:48-49)(Leviathan),
   who speak truth John 8:17).

The reason I bring the labor of that woman, is because there is a final birth being spoken of...
The birth to life of those not anointed (Isa.66:7; 54:1; Gal.4:27).
This occurs under God's kingdom of sealed 144,000. The completed bride of Christ will bring these forth into life,
without any pain for "her", or for her earthly "seed" (Isa.66:7,11; Joel 3:18; Rev.21:2,3,4,5; 22:1,2,3,17; John 5:28,29).

This partly answers your question, as to the non-anointed "experiencing benefits" from Jesus.
Christ's ransom pays directly and first, for the anointed. Once these are redeemed and become a part of the Kingdom Covenant's construction, the Temple of God/bride, grows further toward completion (1Pet. 2:5; Eph.2:20,21,22;  1Cor. 3:16; Eph.1:10,11,12).
In the meantime, the teachings of Christ advise others (not anointed) to "receive" and "listen" to his faithful brothers (John 13:20; Matt.10:40;  2Cor. 5:20; Zech.8:23; Rom.2:28,29; Col.2:11). These faithful slaves work hard to provide understanding and guidance (2Tim.4:2;  1Tim. 4:16; Mal.2:7). Jesus also teaches all, how to identify which anointed kingdom ambassadors are providing that fine fruit for life (John 15:4,5; Matt.7:20 pearl-finetrees.blogspot.com ).

By the treatment all (those anointed and not anointed) give the faithful anointed, these are judged with finality (Matt.25:40,46; Heb.13:2; Matt.10:42; Heb.6:10; Rom.8:33; Matt.7:1), because how one treats these, is a direct result of one's response to the Truth which the faithful declare (John 10:27; 12:49; 16:13;  1John 4:8; John 14:17;  2Cor. 2:14,15,16;  1Cor. 1:18,21;  2Tim. 2:21).
The ability to discern the faithful (who are offering food for life) is a gift from Jesus and the Father, to the non-anointed (John 6:44; 13:20; 10:27; 7:17,18). This is a "benefit of Jesus" to those not anointed, that they should use right now.


In time, the benefits of both Jesus Christ AND the New Covenant, will reach all creation (1John 2:2; Gal.4:26; Rom.8:19; Heb.9:28; Acts 3:21; Matt.17:11; Rom.8:21) when Christ hands his fulfilled kingdom over to his Father, for God to begin the eternal Kingdom of God (1Cor. 15:24,25; Matt.6:10).
But it is imperative to recognize the how and when. Otherwise, if you confuse and overlap the stages of salvation, it results in confusion ("Babylon"); and a diverting from the path of life and it's necessary guidance for the individual.
The application of the ransom of Christ for the second resurrection,
and the life provisions under the fully formed, completed and Materialized New Covenant (Christ's Bride),
is delivered for all physical Creation under the Kingdom Administration to come, under God's future Kingdom. 
The ransom is first applied through the Promise/Covenant/mother in Heaven for the first resurrection (Gal.4:26; Heb.6:12; Gal.3:29) during Christ's symbolic thousand year reign. The ransom is then applied to the great crowd/remaining ones of the woman's seed that come through the Great Tribulation in faithfulness, after the thousand years have ended. That period is now. Once this purpose/promise, sees fulfillment in the full administration of Priests and Kings (Rev.5:9,10; Rom.8:24; Heb.11:1;  1Cor. 6:2; Dan.7:18,22; Rev.20:4;  2Tim. 4:1,2; Eph.1:10; Acts 17:26; Jer.27:5; Hab.2:3;  2Pet. 3:9; Zeph.3:8).
the Kingdom government is ready to remove the harlot, Satan's rule (1Tim. 4:1,2) and restore all Creation (Matt.17:11; 19:28; Rom.8:21,19) under God.
Yet even now,
those who "accept" and "receive" the faithful brothers of Christ, can be "written in the Lamb's scroll of Life" (Matt.10:41), which he presents to his Father. This favorable judgment for those who remove the mark of the Beast (Rev.13:8; 14:9,10,11; 15:2; 17:8; 20:15; Matt.10:41), includes an invitation to the Marriage feast of unveiled revelations, and the blessing of eternal life (Matt.10:41,42; 7:8; 22:8,9,10; Rev.19:9). This is certainly "a benefit from Jesus", and it is available to all,  right now!

Resurrection/Judgment/Life and Death/Times

I know this is a long post. It is a revision of a past post.
I have been shown more information about this subject, and have expressed this in the additions.
It is based upon a past question. I suggest studying it in sections, so that all scriptures can be closely examined.

  Likely Peter did not yet realize (John 16:12; Mark 8:18,21) that all disciples, especially the anointed would have to leave "everything to follow" Christ 
(Luke 9:23; 17:31-32; 9:62; Phil.3:8;  1Cor.11:1;  2Tim.3:12; John 16:12; Mark 8:34)...not just the apostles (Matt.19:27).
(When Jesus told them that they would judge the tribes of Israel, the apostles may have been thinking, that Jesus was referring to "fleshly" Israel (Gal.4:25; Luke 19:11) under the Old Covenant, due to his previous instructions (Matt.15:24; 10:5-6,7) which would soon change
(Heb.8:13; Gal.4:25,30,26,31) (Acts 10:34-35; 13:46; Gal.3:28-29; Acts 13:47).
Peter also may not have yet realized, that these twelve apostles, as such, (1Cor.12:28-29) would (upon their anointment), occupy "first" place (foundation) in the rank/"class", within the entire anointed body of Christ (Eph.2:20;  1Cor.3:10; Rev.21:14; Matt.16:18-19),
and that this "Body" (1Cor.12:27-28) would be the "Israel" Jesus was now referring to

Different ranks within the body of Christ?
Consider the scriptural meaning of the root word for Christ...
The noun Christos (christos), meaning anointed, comes from the Greek verb chrio (chrio), meaning to smear or anoint. The Septuagint (the ancient Greek translation of the Old Testament) uses this verb to describe any kind of smearing, pouring or anointing, ranging from regular armory maintenance (2Sam.1:21, Isa.21:5) to basic medical routines (Isa.1:6).

In Israel, the ritualistic act of anointing was performed to inaugurate people into certain specific offices, and only offices that had no earthly superior and were subject only to God. Thus only a High Priest (Leviticus 8:12; 4:3) and a prophet and a king would be anointed into office (1Kings 19:16). Regular priests and certain venerable objects would be consecrated by receiving a mere sprinkling of the oil (Ex.30:26, Lev.8:30).  Aaron had already received his anointing as the High Priest (Leviticus 8:12). All "anointing", is not equal, either in purpose, resulting stature, or in sanctifying power.

This "first" place of the apostles (1Cor.12:28; Eph.2:20) is demonstrated, when all anointed "parts" of Christ's body, subject themselves to the Greek scriptures, and base all they teach upon them (1Cor.3:10), which testimonies were written largely by these 12.

Jesus here tells Peter, exactly how these would be "first". He says that they will "judge" the "tribes of Israel". These twelve are the main part of the "foundation" of the Holy City (Eph.2:19-20; 3:5; Rev.21:14); and they determine all those to be "built up" upon  them/their foundation (1Cor.3:9-10; Eph.2:21). Those tribes that were to come, are referred to in Rev.7:4. There it speaks of those who attain a seal to become established as part of the 12 tribes of the 144,000, built upon the "foundation" of the 12 apostles and the anointed prophets.
In speaking of this "rockmass" foundation of the twelve, Jesus said in their presence:
"And I tell you that you are Peter ("a rock"), and on this rock-mass (plural) I will build my congregation, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. As stated at Rev.7:4, these 144000 are sealed from among the twelve tribes. In other words, those being selected, are from a pool of the twelve tribes of spiritual Jews (Rom.2:29; Gal.3:29), people in Covenant with God..."Israelites" (Gal.6:15-16). They have all been offered a promise from God....That should they prove faithful and endure to the end,
(Luke 13:24; Matt.10:22;  1Cor.4:1-2; Matt.25:14,19,21,24-25,26,30),
the faithful will become sealed heirs with Christ and a permanent part of God's spiritual Temple Priesthood, to eternally serve as priests for the benefit of all creation.

Who will judge the winners of the seal? Primarily Jesus Christ (Rev.7:2; Isa.41:2; Mal.4:2; Luke 1:78; Isa.60:1; Rev.22:16; 2:28; Prov.4:18)
At Matt.19:28, Jesus tells the twelve apostles, that he shares the judging by bestowing this position upon them (1Cor.6:3). These 12 Patriarchs of spiritual Israel, choose whom they adopt for their own tribe... Just as the 12 sons of Jacob/fleshly Israel, had a tribe of sons under each of them (1Chron.2:1-2;  1Cor.15:46).
  When do the twelve begin this job of judging the candidates....which started to be chosen in the first century, up until our present time?

Jesus said that many living during his era would not see death at all (John 8:51; Ps.89:48; Matt.16:18 C; John 11:26). We are also told that many pass directly from death to life....a living condition in spirit (John 5:24;  2Cor.5:17;  1John 3:14; Rom.8:9; Eph.2:6; 1:3). Other men of faith are also mentioned as "living" to God (Mark 12:26-27). These are in the "memorial tombs".  Ecclesiastes (Ec.9:5-6) tells us that the "living" are conscious that they will die; but as for the "dead" "the remembrance of them is forgotten". Although we have been previously taught by the WT that this is applied physically,  I see it as spiritual......

"For the living know that they will die,
    but the dead know nothing;
they have no further reward,
    and even their name is forgotten.
  Their love, their hate
    and their jealousy have long since vanished;
never again will they have a part
    in anything that happens under the sun."

These "dead" in spirit are "forgotten" and their "knowing" has expired. I suspect they are not in the "memorial tombs" awaiting resurrection (John 5:28-29), but rather in Hades... the realm of those in darkness (Link:what-is-sheole-hades?).
As Ec.9:5-6  states..."they have no further reward" and "never again will they have a part in anything".
I strongly suspect that in God's eyes, they were spiritually dead (1Tim.5:6; Luke 15:24; Rev.3:1), and have no future reward, nor life, under God's Kingdom. (Col.2:13; Eph.2:1;  1Tim.5:6).
Those deemed as worthy of a place in God's memory, (viewed by Him as good as living); seemed capable of physical death. As Ec.9:5 stated, "the "living" are conscious that they will die".
So we see it is likely that those who were faithful before Christ, died (in every sense), although saved in God's memory for a future resurrection (when they would be "made perfect" through a future City prepared for them) (Heb.11:13,16,39-40), did indeed "die".

My point is that, up until the apostles, faithful men died and became unconscious.
What about after Jesus came?
John 11:25-26 reads...
"Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die (physically?); and whoever lives by believing in me will never die (spiritually?). Do you believe this?”

This riddle contains our answer, as to whether the apostles transferred from physical life to spiritual life, without ever dying spiritually (John 6:63;  2Cor.4:16-17,18). If so, it would enable them to judge chosen anointed, during the period in which each of those anointed ones lived.

John 6:47,50-51,58; John 8:51; John 5:24;  1John 3:14;  2Cor.5:17; Rom.6:4; 8:9-10,11; Eph.4:24; John 3:3;  1Pet.1:3,23; John 1:13; James 1:18... which show that not only may the apostles have never died, all faithful anointed attain this everlasting life. See also 1Cor.15:20-21,22-23,24-25,26...

"But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, those who belong to him at his presence. 24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death."

"The rest of the dead did not come to life until the Thousand Years has ended" (Rev.20:4-5,6) 
 Just to clarify these scriptures here:  The first resurrection applies to the "priests and kings" who were killed for their testimony and reign with Jesus for the thousand years. They were just mentioned in verse 4.  They are not to the "rest" who don't come to life until the end of the thousand years. (See: coming-to-life)
Yet death is conquered for the "firstfruits", when they come to life (Jer.2:3; James 1:18; Eph.1:13; John 1:13;  2Cor.5:17,16;  1Cor.6:17; 15:54-55,56-57; Rom.8:37; Heb.2:14;  1John 5:4).

This last enemy death, is not fully destroyed, until all faithful anointed attain to life (including the remnant Great Crowd). But a total "end" of death is not only talking about the first resurrection of the priests and kings, who are said to get life first. (Rev.20:4,6; John 5:21).

At the point at which the 144000 attain to life, the basis of life for the rest is also attained through them....just as the basis of life for them, was attained through Christ.
The basis of life for both, is a "mother" covenant (Gal.4:26,24).
The covenant for the 144,000 is Jerusalem above...the New Covenant/Promise (Gal.4:28; Rom.9:8). As the called and chosen children of that covenant (1Pet.1:23; John 1:13; James 1:18;  1John 3:9) become sealed as faithful by maturing in light and truth, they become that "free" "mother" covenant to the rest (John 8:32,36; Gal.4:26; Rom.6:18,22; 8:2). At that point, the "promise" is fulfilled.
In other words...Jerusalem above is a promise. Sealing is the promise fulfilled and materialized. That fulfilled covenant of 144000 "new creation" members, are the agents of the "mother" Covenant, to the rest of Creation, serving as priests even while they are yet on earth (Mal.2:7). These become the bride of Christ...the covenant of the kingdom (Luke 17:21), to produce the next generation of living seed... the new earth....(the "rest" Rev.20:4-5,6;  1John 2:2)

We know that Christ's "presence" with his anointed, started in the first century and was promised to last until the end (see Matt.28:20 B)...
"And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
But there is a culmination of this harvest of the earth 
(Rev.14:16; Matt.25:31-32; 16:27; 24:31; 13:40-41)

"But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits (during the thousand Years); then, those who belong to him at his presence (remaining ones/remnant/Great Crowd)."

Christ's presence near the "end of the age" will be when he comes / returns, to settle accounts with his servants...the final judgment. This will be during a time of unprecedented distress, and many will fall. (Matt.24:3,9-10; 7:13-14)

Since the first century, Christ is ruling (Ps.110:1-2;  1Cor.15:25,24) with his chosen brothers (Eph.2:6,10; 1:3; Luke 22:29; 12:32; Luke 10:18-19,20). This kingdom is limited in scope ("a 'thousand years'"), while these are appointed over "a little". When the kingdom of the world becomes the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ (Rev.11:15; Dan.7:9,18,22),
and when God's will is done on earth as it is in "heaven" (Matt.6:10), then those who prove faithful over this little (Matt.25:14; Luke 16:10; Matt.25:23; Luke 19:17), will be appointed over all Creation (Ps.2:7-8,9; Rev.2:26-27; 3:21; Dan.7:18; Ps.37:11,29; Heb.2:5,16)

From all these foregoing scriptures, it would seem that anointed faithful are transferred into living spirit, even while they are still living their physical lifetimes (John 5:24). When their physical bodies die, their spirit endures... they are "changed" to inhabit an eternal spirit, "in the twinkle of an eye", and can "never die" (John 11:26).
Now note 2Cor.5:18-19,20 within it's context:
"17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, the new is here. 18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God"

 To "be reconciled" is to be forgiven of sin and to live (Rom.5:10-11).
If those who have already received this life first; appeal to yet others in a "ministry of reconciliation" to God for "the world" through these "ambassadors for Christ",
does not the second resurrection occur when that reconciliation occurs?

Remember what Jesus said at Matt.10:40-41?
Those who accept the reconciliation through it's agents, receive the reward of it's agents...
forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God, and life! (Matt.10:41)
Remembering that Revelation is symbolic, this first and second resurrection is depicted as occurring as first one, and then the other. This is true, and yet as part of Revelation, must also be symbolic. How so?

The anointed priests must be saved first, through the word planted in their heart (Luke 8:11,15; Matt.13:23; James 1:25,23-24). That word must be cultivated inside that heart (Matt.13:8,23; James 1:21; John 17:17; Eph.5:26). This cleansing of the heart by the Word of God, is the circumcision of the heart by spirit (Rom.2:26,28-29; Matt.23:26; Deut.30:6; Jer.4:4; Col.2:11). This occurs as the word ("seed") is cultivated and brought to maturity 
(James 1:21-22,25; Eph.1:13; 4:22,13; Rom.6:17;  2Tim.1:13; 2:2) (Heb.5:8-9; 12:2,1,9,28; Eph.4:13-14,15;  1Pet.2:2,21).
Once maturity is attained, one becomes a representative (ambassador) of the word ("seed") in the world (Matt.13:26,37-38; Mark 4:28-29; Rev.14:15; John 4:35-36; Ec.11:6). Those who accept that message which is being offered by the mature sons of the kingdom (John 13:20; 20:23,21; Matt.16:19), THEN receive life, secondarily.
Can you see the primary and secondary receiving of life???
It is symbolic, in that the primary does not all occur at once...
neither the secondary occurs all at once.
It is symbolic.
Whenever a chosen one matures, testifies to truth and is sealed; living water issues forth from that one (John 7:38-39; Rev.22:1-2,17; 19:9; Matt.22:9-10).
Those who accept the invitation, can also receive life, by partaking of the spiritual feast of truth. It does not matter when in literal time these ones come to life.
In this way, the "first" and "second" resurrections/"awakenings", are symbolic....during the "gathering together" of the things of the "heavens" (anointed firstfruits) and the secondary harvest... the things "of earth" (Eph.1:10; 3:2; Col.1:20) --all creation -Rom.8:19,21...by means of truth.

I hope that readers can discern, that the bestowing of life occurs at one's opportunity to receive it, no matter what year it is. The "seven times"/"seven trumpets" are not literal years, but rather, a spiritual progression from spiritual babe to the full grown stature of Christ....
the seed in the heart brought to maturity during one's lifetime...
the ministry of truth that results...
and the life that results to others because of that ministry.
The literal years during which this occurs, in the lives of the ambassadors or their recipients, matters not. In this way, it is true to the book of Revelation, in that this "first" and "second" resurrection, is symbolic.

Jesus said "and whoever lives by believing in me will never die". The "last enemy" death, is conquered on an individual basis. Yet the time will come, when the defeat of all death, finally arrives.
I see three groups....
1. Those already born of "incorruptible seed" (spiritually living 144000) 
    (1Pet.1:23; John 1:13; James 1:18;  1Pet.1:3;  1John 3:9) will never die,
    but have already "passed over, from death to life". Yet according to Jesus, they must continue
    to "believe in" him, exercising that faith (Rom.12:6; James 2:17,24,26).
2. There are also those anointed, who were conquered by Satan's final test (Rev.13:7,10), 
    and must be rescued and their sins, redeemed. These are redeemed after Christ's "Thousand Years" 
    to receive the second resurrection (see Link: Coming-to-Life).
3. Those who have faith in Christ, but have not been anointed by Holy Spirit... These must 
    attain their spiritual birth, by accepting the reconciliation to God being offered by it's ambassadors        (Mal.2:7;  2Cor.5:20; John 13:20)... who are their new spiritual mother and father (Gal.4:26; Isa.9:6).
    Jerusalem above who is the Bride of Christ, is mother to unsealed anointed as well. 
    All must learn by listening to the cornerstone and foundation which preceded them.

 Why then does Paul refer to the first resurrection as occurring "at the last trumpet"?
We must remain open to the possibility, that this may not occur according to human physical timing.

The "seven trumpets" have a relation to seven eyes/spirits of God, the seven angels, and the seven times/stages of refinement. These things occur in the life of each anointed who become sealed, regardless of the era in which they live. These "times" represent a gauntlet of testing and a growth in understanding, refinement, maturity, enlightenment, activities, and purging of sinful flesh. The last trumpet is when each one conquers Death (1Cor.15:26,51-52,53-54,55,57-58; James 1:12;  2Tim.4:8).
I personally remain open to this arrival of the "seventh trumpet", as being within the heart of each sealed one.....just as the arrival of the daystar is (2Pet.1:19;  1Pet.1:22-23; Luke 17:21); which according to vision given me, occurs at the end of the "seven times". (1Thess.4:13-14,15-16,17-18)

Each "time" carries with it, a symbolic "milestone" of accomplishment of requirements, within the heart of each anointed one, until they reach the full maturity of Christ (Eph.4:13; Heb.5:14;  1Cor.2:6) and are sealed. The sealing of the final remnant, will cause these sevens to be manifested with finality, and there will finally be observable consequences to the world around us....just as the seven trumpets finally impacted the city of Jericho (Joshua 6:8,20)

So...how did the twelve apostles judge each chosen anointed one throughout time?

The anointed attain spirit life now (Rom.8:9;  1John 3:14; Eph.2:6; Heb.12:22-23; Jude 1:8;  2Pet.2:10).
How do the apostles judge each anointed one that has followed them?
We are told about this, at Rev.20:4,11-12,13-14,15; Dan.7:9,22; Jude 1:14-15; Matt.25:40,45-46.

The apostles have laid the foundation of the Christian faith, based upon Christ...the "cornerstone" of God's spiritual Temple (Matt.21:42; Acts 4:11).
Those who obey the "Good News" of this kingdom authority of Christ, the apostles and anointed prophets, are built up on that foundation (Eph.2:20-21,22;  1Pet.2:5,9).
Like Noah, Daniel, and Job (Eze.14:14); all faithful anointed establish a record of righteous obedience to God in imitation of Christ (Rev.19:8), despite Satanic adversity (Luke 22:31; Acts 14:22; John 16:20). Like Noah, they provide a means of salvation from Satanic flood (Rev.12:15,6; 11:3). So we can learn much from looking at how Noah himself, actually judged a whole world...
Heb.11:7 reads,
"By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith."

By faithful deeds, those loyal to God establish an attainable standard.
Those who fail to meet that standard, are judged by those who succeeded.
Can you see this?

Let's return to Christ's words...
"Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?”
 Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne (Matt.28:18; Luke 22:69-70; Matt.26:64; Ps.110:1;  1Cor.15:25), you who have followed me (Luke 22:28; Mark 8:34; Rev.14:4) will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." (Matt.19:27-28)

I believe that every faithful one, judges those who face the same trials and tests, yet prove unfaithful (1Cor.6:2).
This is why all those who prove faithful, are symbolically seen on thrones, rendering judgment (Rev.20:4). As we know, "twelve" thrones, represent the power and authority of the Truth

and the "tribes of Israel" are those who are called and chosen, but not yet sealed as faithful slaves of God (Deut.11:18; Rev.7:3-4; Matt.22:14; Luke 13:24; Matt.7:13-14,21).
These are "asleep", unripe, immature, undeveloped, and not yet sealed.
Such ones are naturally judged by those who have brought the word to perfection and have "produced a crop"...willing to lose their very lives for Christ. (John 15:8; Matt.24:45; Mark 8:35; Rev.6:9,11; 12:11)
There is the patience of God for these. But time is running out. (Luke 13:5-6,7-8,9; Rev.6:13; Matt.21:19).
The basis of judgment for all....are the scriptures we already have...the Word of God...the scrolls which are being "opened"/understood (Rev.20:12; Luke 24:32,45) in the time of the end (Dan.12:4,8-9,10) are not "new".

Everyone,
no matter when they lived,
will then symbolically be brought into judgment by the Bible...once the last of the Chosen prove faithful to those same teachings. We return to Rev.20:11-12,13-14,15.
Any not found obedient to the Word of God...after the full number of faithful have been found beyond accusation (Rev.12:10-11)
the rest will be consigned to "the lake of fire".
The Lake of Fire is a symbol for the Word of God in a condemnatory capacity
(Jer.23:29; Jer.5:14NIV ; Hosea 6:5; Rev.11:5; Matt.10:20).

By God's Words, we are either proved obedient and righteous for life (Rev.3:5),
or by comparison, we are proved disobedient, and unrighteous (2Thess.1:8-9).
Those who fail to be reconciled to God, are not written in the Lambs scroll of Life (Rev.20:12,15; Rev.13:8).
What does this mean for them?
All are already under decay, corruption, and death. We all have bodies that degrade and die.
Only those who are saved by means of the word of life, have a future.
God does not have to kill anyone. They are already dying...
"enslaved to corruption" (Rom.8:20-21,22; 5:12).
Only those who love God, love others (their neighbors), and obey His Word and arrangement for salvation, "pass over from death to life"....
Matt.22:36-37,38-39,40;  1John 3:14; John 5:24
...not at some future time,
but right now (John 4:35;  2Cor.6:2;  2Pet.3:8; Rev.20:4)!  Now is the acceptable time. (2Cor.6:2)

The apostles "judge" those who enter into the Holy City.
(Matt.16:19; John 20:23 -keys to kingdom)
(Rev.21:12-13,14,21 -twelve entrance gates to Holy City, with an "angel" over each gate).

The sealed members of the Holy City "judge" all others called and chosen.

This authority to judge their peers, is a natural result of their own faithfulness.
If any of these are unfaithful to Christ's Law of Love, they themselves are judged by the faithful in comparison (1Cor.6:3).

This is the same way in which Christ's faithfulness to God, during his lifetime on earth; judged Satan.
So too, those anointed who walk by spirit, judge the world, who walk by flesh 
(John 16:7-8,9-10,11-12,13; Luke 10:18; John 12:31) (1Cor.6:2;  1John 2:17).
