More on the Marriage Feast [] The Day of Accounting

I received a letter, containing some questions.
I will post excerpts of the letter in RED.

The message I received:

Christ’s bride in a cleansed state rejecting false teachings will be prepared to meet him for the wedding.  Those joining the marriage feast will have had to come into the light, shedding falsehoods, having their spiritual perception refined and thus by doing so are invited to witness the union between Jesus and his true bride members. Those anointed who did not remain faithful, trampling their brothers, the scripture speaks of the weeping and the gnashing of teeth (Luke 13:28).  So this is expected also of those who could have been part of the marriage feast. Correct?
----
So it is quite understandable that God’s justice, mercy, and love would prevent him from desiring any to be destroyed, but… the rest will be abandoned to what they chose – and so we are saying abandoned to death?  Perhaps those ones will just live the rest of their lives until they die off because they refuse to believe and submit to Kingdom rule.  I think of Luke 16 having some application, but don’t want to project my ideas into that chapter. If you have thoughts, I would be interested in knowing, but personally, it wouldn’t bother me if there is not clarity because God’s decisions are righteous and just so whatever His decision will be, will be just that.  I will look at the  links you provided, so apologize for making comment before I do further digging.

MY REPLY:
I will take your message in sections, and respond to each piece at a time.
Your words will be in RED.

Christ’s bride in a cleansed state rejecting false teachings will be prepared to meet him for the wedding.
Well, it's not quite that simple.
Not only have the bride members sought truth in Christ and cleansed their spiritual eye to remove idolatry, spiritual adultery, and falsehood... they also have been killed for the truth, in imitation of Jesus. That is a requirement (Rom. 6:3-5; Rev. 6:9-11; Mark 8:35).
The herald calls, "Here is the bridegroom. Be on your way out to meet him" (Matt. 25:6). Hebrews 13:13 tells us what that entails...
"13 Let us, then, go to meet him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore."
That "disgrace" is defined at Luke 6:22; John 16:2 and Matt. 5:11-12.
So the sacrifice of their lives, is also what prepares them to join to Christ.
---
Then you say; "Those joining the marriage feast will have had to come into the light, shedding falsehoods, having their spiritual perception refined"
Not necessarily.
Remember that one attendee was thrown out, due to not being donned in a marriage garment (Matt. 22:11-13).
The feast is a free offering. All who are "leaving the city", are invited (Matt. 22:9).... "the good as well as the bad" (Matt. 22:10). How each person responds to that generous and merciful grace, is individual, based upon their appreciation.
Many will be invited, but few will be chosen to have understanding of the provisions, opened up to them (Luke 24:45; Rev. 3:7-8; Matt. 13:11; 25:10).
Those who were "taken" to the feast by God's spirit, are the ones that will appreciate the food provided by the slain (Luke 17:35-37 -for proof that this reads "eagle" and not 'vulture', see LINK).

https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2013/03/a-comment-left-by-reader-i-understand.html

Those favored ones chosen to understand, will appreciate the light, work to shed falsehood, and be refined. (https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2015/03/part-i-invited-and-chosen-at-marriage.html)

Then you say; "thus by doing so are invited to witness the union between Jesus and his true bride members."
I am not sure what you mean by witnessing the union of Jesus with his bride. Can you specify?
----(Note to readers: If I get a response to this, I will post it.)----

Your next question: "Those anointed who did not remain faithful, trampling their brothers, the scripture speaks of the weeping and the gnashing of teeth (Luke 13:28).  So this is expected also of those who could have been part of the marriage feast. Correct? "
When Jesus "settles accounts" with his anointed slaves, those who fail will be thrown outside into the darkness, where there is the weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matt. 25:19,30).

The time arrives when God causes the truth to become known to all (John 3:19-20; Luke 8:17-18; 12:2-3), and there will be no more hiding from it
(Eze. 2:5; 33:33,29; Amos 4:12; Rev. 6:16-17;  2Cor. 5:10; Matt. 16:27; Rom. 2:5,16; 14:12).
Those who have believed a lie and stored up treasures on earth, will have to face their lack of perception and losses (Luke 8:17-18; Matt. 6:19-21,22-23).
When all is due to be revealed, all anointed will know, where they stand (2Pet. 3:7,10-12,13-14,17;  1Cor. 3:11-13,14-15; John 15:6; Zech. 3:2,6-7,8-9; Rev. 10:3,7; John 16:8,12-14; Rev. 15:7; 8:6). Some of that is starting to become evident, even now. There are spiritual leaders who already know that my lamp differs greatly from their own, and the spiritual battle between us, is underway
[1Tim. 4:1; Rev. 16:13-16; 17:14;  2Cor. 10:3-5; Gen. 3:15; Rev. 12:17; Eph. 6:12; Rev. 20:7-9; 11:5 (Eph. 2:6)].
https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2018/01/armageddon.html
------------------

So it is quite understandable that God’s justice, mercy, and love would prevent him from desiring any to be destroyed, but… the rest will be abandoned to what they chose – and so we are saying abandoned to death?
All creation was already abandoned to darkness and death, in Eden. Death is the eventuality of all those not saved. God is judge through Christ and his teachings (John 12:48; Rev. 20:12) and He is the reader of hearts (Heb. 4:13; Jer. 17:10;  1Cor. 5:12-13;  1Pet. 4:17-18).
Light, understanding of divine truth, and salvation, is the exception. (John 3:18; Eph. 2:3; Matt. 7:13-14)

But those who claim godly devotion and who voluntarily undergo a vow of baptism, are held to that vow. If they then choose to love The Lie due to a lack of love for truth, yes, their free will choice is respected by God. The dominant desire of the heart will manifest itself by the choices made and the testimony given (Luke 6:45; Rev. 13:4,8,16; 14:9-11; 16:2).

God supports those seeking Him with all their heart, and he acts in their behalf (2Chron. 16:9). He becomes their Saviour (Ps. 34:18; Isa. 63:8; 43:1-2,11). He is under no obligation to save those who manifest a heart of hatred toward Him, look to an Idol to save them, and who imitate his enemy and choose him as their father instead (John 8:44; Matt. 23:33).

Perhaps those ones will just live the rest of their lives until they die off because they refuse to believe and submit to Kingdom rule.
That is the way it has been happening for thousands of years. But there is, an End (1Cor. 15:24;  1Pet. 4:7).
When it arrives, the life most take for granted, will change.

I think of Luke 16 having some application, but don’t want to project my ideas into that chapter.

I agree, that we need not know all that God has planned (Isa.55:8-9; Rom.11:33; Job 9:12) in order to trust in His righteousness.
I know that what I have given you... it's a lot of reading and information. I do not include all the links as necessary reading, but only to be interactive for readers, in case a statement causes a question to arise. The links are placed strategically as a preemptive response, for where a question may arise. If no question about the context arises, the link need not be read.

What really counts, is reading the scriptures in the post as you come to them
If the scriptures are not read, points will be missed, and it will greatly slow one's growth and understanding. Questions may arise that may not have, if the scriptures had been read. The scriptures contain the spirit, and the spirit causes growth.

The Knowledge of God [] The Abomination of Desolation

EXCERPTS FROM A LETTER I RECEIVED:

Dearest sister Pearl,

I continue studying articles at your Blog, but my fleshly sisters are not as eager to look into the scriptures. When the three of us had gotten together, they had not read over the material I sent them and so had not even prepared for studying. As JWs, they just want to be told what to do. They essentially have said that the information I shared is too deep, and focuses more on those anointed who rule with Jesus. Although I’ve asked both of them to do personal study and then to reconvene, neither of them responded with interest saying basically that it’s too deep and that the Bible shouldn’t be complicated. How can I respond with scriptures?

In addition, have two questions that I hope you will address. First, as I feel like I’ve read something on your blog about 2 Peter chapter 2 but now cannot find it. It asked you about that chapter and particularly verse 21 (2Pet.2:21). Do I understand correctly that this verse is essentially speaking about leaving the teachings of the false prophet after being given true understanding, but then returning to that false prophet? Would this basically be applied in our day, as leaving the organization, finding the truth, but then returning to that organization?
My younger sister wondered why it would be imperative for “good” people to leave the organization when God can read their hearts.
She referenced a friend who is trying to get reinstated (after 2 yrs being df’d), only so that she can talk to her family again.
I don’t have a clear understanding on how to respond to my sister about the command at Rev.18:4-5 and the judgment of God resulting in destruction. We don’t want to have the mark of the beast, but is the penalty death?

My second question. When sharing with a friend who is an elder, the understanding regarding the inappropriateness of anointed feeding spiritually from the Gentiles, there is great likelihood the elder will respond that it is not they who feed the anointed but that they are helpers and more or less servants helping the GB dispense “food at proper time.”  Now, to me, it is clear that the GB are false prophets and thus the “food” is not healthy (rotten fruit), but am just wondering about a concise and simple response to the likely aforementioned rebuttal an elder might give.

MY REPLY:

First, perhaps you could show your sisters these few scriptures:
1Cor.3:1-2; 2:10; Rom.11:33; Heb.5:11-14; Mark 4:33; Matt.7:7; Eph.4:13;  2Pet.3:15-16,17-18
Persistent effort is needed to gain an understanding of the deep things of God. If we gain and heed that knowledge, the reward, is everlasting life (John 17:3).

Your first question:
Here is the context of 2Pet.2:
"20 For if, having escaped the world’s impurity through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in these things and defeated, the last state is worse for them than the first. 21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy command delivered to them. 22 It has happened to them according to the true proverb: A dog returns to its own vomit, and, “a sow, after washing itself, wallows in the mud.”

Both fleshly Jew and Gentile, escape Satanic darkness/deception, when they are enlightened by the truths of Jesus Christ.
Many Jews returned to a practice of the Law (see Gal.4:9). Many Gentiles too, found it difficult to keep away from their previous idolatry (1Cor.10:14-15,16-17,18-19,20-21,22). Think of how may xJWs who have lost family, have returned to get re-instated, so that the shunning would stop. Jesus told us this circumstance would happen (Luke 12:51-53; Mark 13:12-13; John 16:2).....
-
.....and he told us how to handle it (Matt.10:36-37; Luke 14:26; 17:31-32,33).

How many anointed, have received "the holy command" (2Pet.2:21), to love their brothers in Christ (John 13:34), only to later command that they be persecuted (Luke 12:45; Rev.13:11,15)?
Even many who profess having been anointed and are out of the WT, have entered into envy, competition, and strife (1Cor.1:10; 11:18-19)... nurturing the very WT spirit of dominance they left behind.
Christ cleanses his bride members from all sin (1John 1:7; 4:16-18,19-21) which affords love, fellowship, and unity amid his faithful body members (Eph.4:3;  1Cor.12:12,25-26,27; Eph.4:11-12,13).
But there are those who succumb to pride, and return to not being cleansed of sin or falsehood (a "sow, who returns to wallowing in the mud" -2Pet.2:22). Many anointed who had rejected falsehood, founded in the unloving pride of the steward above them... retain and return to false teachings (even false WT doctrine -Mark 2:22; Luke 17:31-32), stubbornly refusing to be mild and humble in considering direction by scripture and spirit (Rev.5:6; 1:20; Jer.25:4; Matt.5:15; Rev.22:16; John 13:20; Matt.10:20;  1Cor.14:32,3,29; Eph.2:20-21,22;  1Cor.4:1; Amos 3:7).

All anointed have been given a testimony as to the love of God and his spirit and truth. ANY of them, can later reject that testimony, reject the unity of the body under Jesus as head, and not realize that they have resumed walking in darkness (John 12:35).
That also ties in with Luke 17:31 and Matt.9:17, which I cited above in the first section of this letter.
If, upon their exodus from the WT, one does not get a clean slate mentally; that old false doctrine may creep back into their spiritual perception, and prevent them from being clean. Like a lens that is smudged with dirt, their "eye" is unhealthy, and light cannot reach their body (Matt.6:22-23).
They can return and resort to eating that which they had previously rejected (dog, vomit).
If that does not address your question, please respond.

Regarding your question about your sister's thought that there are good people in the WT, who do not deserve to be condemned.... consider 2Thess.2:9-12. Those inside believe "the lie"... that their leaders, who confess being uninspired and fallible, who continually change their teachings, who trample down the brothers of Christ, condemning many of them to death... is an organization directed by the spirit of God.
Why do they believe this obvious lie? 2Thess.2:10,12 told us that they do not have sufficient love of truth, and that they enjoy unrighteousness. How?
Do they not enjoy feeling superior, when someone faithful is vilified and expelled? I have seen it (Rev.11:7-8,9-10; Matt.5:10-11,12).

Please consider Gen.18:32 and Jer.5:1.
Do you see that God will not even abandon one single person to destruction, if they are righteous? Why are we told with urgency, even by Jesus, to flee? (Matt.24:15-16; 18:4-5; Jer.51:6; Luke 17:26-37). All those of righteous heart, will be "taken" and invited to feast upon the slain. The rest will be abandoned to what they have chosen....
....Because the destruction of the corrupt, blasphemous, throne of Satan... Must go Down... along with everyone who is a coward or loves a lie (Rev.22:15).
Those who slave for the false prophet and it's Beast, have succumbed to the agents of the "last enemy, Death" (1Cor.15:24-25,26; Rev.6:7-8).
This links to follow may also help with this part of your questions.
It is a search result, and contains many posts on a few pages. You should read at least the first few results:
NOTE: When God abandons the wicked to Destruction... He is not destroying them. He is accepting a surrender to the god, lord, and father they themselves have chosen, which is, the Destroyer.

Your second question...
It is asserted that the elders are helpers to the anointed, because there are not enough anointed to care for the flock. Perhaps you could ask how the elders help anointed, that are not the GB. If a lesser anointed one, disagrees with the GB in favor of scripture; What do the elders do to them?
Yet what did Jesus say, at Matt.25:45-46?
Why do the elders condemn such ones to death? Is it not because the GB has ordered this policy, to "beat" any who do not submit to them?
Yet Jesus said at Mark10: "42 Jesus called them over and said to them, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles dominate them, and their men of high positions exercise power over them. 43 But it must not be like that among you. On the contrary, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever wants to be first among you must be a slave to all."
It is up to Jesus upon his return, to reveal which of his slaves have proven to be genuine, faithful, and discreet slaves of all (Matt.25:19,21; Rom.8:19). But Jesus did give us guidance, to help us to find the answer to who is working faithfully (Matt.7:20).

It must also be asked... in what capacity do the elders, serve? What is their job description, so to speak?
Do they not preside over cases of sin... pray in behalf of sinners, and do the teaching in the congregations?
They may not recognize it, but that is serving in the capacity designated to God's priests (1Cor.6:1-2,3). The NWT translates Gal.6:1 as "those with spiritual qualifications", which allows the original words to be lost. Literally, it reads... those who are 'inspired by/walk/are lead, by spirit'.
It is pneuma (breath/spirit) -tikos (to own) (John20:22) and is G4152 in Strong's Greek dictionary.

The Bible defines such ones (who "re-adjust" a sinner), as "God's sons" (Rom.8:14-15,16-17; John 20:21-22,23). Those who are designated by God to teach God's nation, are His priests (Mal.2:7;  1Cor.4:1;  1Pet.2:5,9; Rev.5:9-10).
In fact, Eze.44:6-7,8-9 and  2Chron.13:9 condemned the leaders of Israel, for letting others serve as priests.
---(The Hebrew interlinear should be consulted for the verses in Eze.44:6-9, or any other Bible but the NWT, because they changed the wording of Eze.44:6-9).---[Since this lack of translation fidelity was exposed, the new NWT has corrected Eze.44:6-9. To see proof of their past error, consult a copy of their earlier translation.]

Do you remember the lesson of this account?

God's anointed priesthood and spiritual Temple (Eph.2:20-21,22;  1Pet.2:5;  1Cor.3:16;  2Thess.2:1-2,3-4) is not to be performed by any who are not so consecrated (2Chron.23:6-7).
This is the very definition of the "disgusting thing/abomination"... standing in the "holy place/Temple" which "causes desolation" to that priesthood/Temple (Mark 13:14; Rev.11:2; 13:7).
-

Jesus said that when we are able to perceive those circumstances, we are to Flee!
(Mark 13:14; Rev.18:4-5; Jer.51:6; Luke 17:26-27,28-29,30-31,32)
The elder in question, may not be granted to have that perception (Mark 4:12).
If you try to impart it to him, he may fulfill his actual place, which really is, to uphold the idolatry toward the Image of the Beast (Rev.13:15; 11:2-3,7; John 16:2)...
...not to assist, serve, and support, the least of Jesus' anointed brothers... who are now being trampled down into powerlessness, and condemned to death, by Gentile, so-called, "elders".

Memorial or Marriage Feast ?

I received a letter containing various questions.
My response will follow after the letter.

LETTER RECEIVED AND QUESTIONS:

I have only recently stumbled upon your blog via an individual who made a comment on a Youtube video regarding JWs.  I was raised as a JW, experiencing a very depressing and emotionally abusive childhood.  After I married and when my two children were in their teens, I left the Watchtower in 2004, not disfellowshipped nor disassociated myself, just faded away…being very depressed and anxious all my life, and simply exhausted.  It took many, many years to clear my head.  I had always known in my heart that God could not treat his people in the manner in which Watchtower had treated their members – to me, it was not loving, and demanded works (field service time) and blind obedience to man to gain God’s acceptance.  I loved Jesus, always talked about him with others yet in the light of how I was raised as a JW.  But, reflecting on his love for those who professed faith in him, could not reconcile how to love him since the “governing body” has always stressed not giving him too much attention.  Last year, after my mother was trying to tell me to “come back (to the organization)” I flatly told her I am not because “no man is coming in between me and my God and his son Jesus.”  She was at a loss for words.  My mother became a JW in 1970 right before I was born, and is heavily indoctrinated still.  I feel much more at peace than I ever have, and at this point, only feel sorry for my mother who has been blinded by teachings of man.

While I have been focusing for many years on just talking to others informally about the love Jesus has for us, It has recently bothered me that I cannot elaborate further other than his loving acts.  More spiritual meat is what I’ve been hungering.  Lately, I’ve made concerted effort for better understanding.  Many months ago, I began watching John Cedars (Lloyd Evans) videos that sounded very objective and to me, didn’t shout “apostate.”  After some time, I looked for more spiritual food as Lloyd is an athiest (he doesn’t promote that belief to his listeners, but he doesn’t offer insight into the bible).  I stumbled upon Eric Wilson, a former JW who also goes under the pseudonym, Meleti Vivlon.  His explanations were logical and sounded inspired by holy spirit, letting the scriptures interpret themselves, clarifying scripture instead of what I was accustomed to from Watchtower who cherry picked scriptures to align with their doctrine.  He has not made a video on details of Revelation.

I do not recall which of the Youtube videos I was reading comments under, but under one a commenter gave the link to one of your blogs.  Over this past week, I have read and reread your explanation about the book of Revelation. I was stopped in my tracks. I knew that YHWH has lifted the scales from my eyes. Everything makes sense more than all the “adjustments” the Watchtower has made on scripture.  Excuse me as I try to address God by his Hebrew name now, as I don’t want to be associated with JWs who have smeared his reputation now with their history of lies and current child abuse scandals that will not be lost in history.

So, to cut a long story short, I want to honor my savior this memorial (I have gone every year to the JW memorial despite my fading away so that I can show my respect), but am unclear how to go about that.  My conscience now that I have been enlightened, is preventing me from feeling comfortable in attending the memorial at a kingdom hall, or celebrate it in the way that JWs do.  Eric Wilson explained that Jesus commanded all his followers to partake of the wine and bread however, I must admit, I am unsure whether that is appropriate for me.  I only know I have love for Jesus and want to honor him the way he directed, leaving it in his hands what he has in mind for me.  Essentially, I cannot say I am “anointed” in the sense that the Watchtower teaches.

I look forward to hearing from you, and whatever guidance you might be able to give according to scripture.  I certainly would not be offended if you are not comfortable with my attempt to join on Skype, but I only ask that the spirit guides you in giving me direction on how to commemorate his death appropriately.

By the way, I didn’t know you were on Facebook, but I’ve been so busy this past month listening to multiple sources via Youtube and Podcasts (Eric Wilson, Watchtower Examination, EXJW Analyzer) and now reading your blog that I haven’t spent much time on that platform to even think of looking for you there.

Thank you kindly!

MY REPLY:
I will try to respond adequately to all the issues you bring up, and will include links to material I have already written in order to provide you with scriptures that will be relevant. Please take your time with what I write below, and be sure to consider the scriptures cited. I suggest examining this in sections, so that the scriptures can be thoroughly considered.

I am sorry to learn of your trying childhood. I don't know what it's like being raised as a JW (other than the life which my own children had), but I too had a childhood tainted by abuse and neglect. My father was agnostic, and my mother, Catholic. I went to Catholic school straight through to high school. That too was very restrictive and abusive. At home, there was physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. So this sad circumstance, is not unique to JWs.
I feel that my connection to Jesus and consistent prayer, got me through it. It is good to learn that the spiritual abuse we suffered under the arm of the WT, did not cause you to lose faith in God and Christ. So many end up faithless. It makes no sense to blame God for the evil men do, especially when Jesus warned us of this very scenario.

I can relate to your fading due to sheer exhaustion and the sense of futility of the grinding routine. We were so brainwashed into thinking that it is the path to eternal life, when it is just a diversion, to keep us preoccupied with empty provisions and a sense that we can never really measure up. When we are made to feel so inferior, the natural conclusion is that those who lay out the routine, must be better than us. Why then, would we ever examine them in a critical light? The psychology of this tactic, is powerfully effective.

Yes, the contrast between the love of God and the image of Him which the "Watchtower" portrays, is huge. That image as a merciless destroyer of life is crucial to their doctrine about Armageddon, their spiritual superiority and condition of privileged peace and security with God, and their interpretation of Revelation. All three concepts, must rest upon the idea that God and Jesus are the merciless Destroyers.
The organization would have no basis to exist, unless Revelation is interpreted the JW way. If you progress in your studies at the Blog; you will see that I believe that Satan supports the assertions of the WT, and uses his authority over the world, to give their doctrine and false interpretation of prophecy, credence. In other words, WT needs a whipping boy. They need the existence of false religion in order to misapply the identity of the harlots. They need the League of Nations in order to misapply the identity of the Beast... and the U.N., in order to misapply the identity of the Image of the Beast.
If it seems too fantastic an idea to think that Satan would be involved in the formation and substantiation of Watchtower doctrine; we need to reconsider that since his release from the abyss, his objective is to take captive into deception (2Cor. 11:3-4; Rev.2:20; Col.2:8; Rev.13:10; Luke 21:24; Rev.11:2; Dan.8:10-12), the remaining ones of the woman's seed with which he is at spiritual war (Rev.12:15,17) (https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2012/12/earth-swallows-satans-river-rev1216.html).
His very existence and continuation of authority and power over the world (1John 5:19;  2Cor. 4:4; Mark 4:12;  2Thess. 2:9-12; Rev.12:9; 20:7-8; etc.),
....depends upon his ability to delay the Kingdom of God, and it's members becoming equipped to battle against him (2Cor. 10:3-5; Rev.16:13-16; 17:14; 19:14; Eph.2:6; 6:12).
You will be able to learn about the details of all this, along with the scriptures, if you persist in your learning through the Blog.

Veiled JWs cannot imagine a relationship with God without the GB, WT, and "elders". The scriptures that refer to God's spiritual Temple and it's priesthood, are misapplied to the organization. Jesus did say, that he appoints a steward over his household to provide the right food at the right time (Luke 12:42-44).
What JWs forget, is that there is an option for a wicked steward to also exist, and that Jesus opens his depiction of both sorts, in question form (Luke 12:42;  1John 4:1).
We are being directed to question who fulfills that identity, rather then letting others tell us who they are (Matt.24:23-26;  2Thess. 2:9-12;  1Tim. 4:1; Rev.16:14-15).
So there is a place for the priests of God, to provide spiritual sustenance to God's household (1Pet. 2:5; Mal.2:7;  1Cor. 4:1).
They can either be faithful, or not. But Jesus has given ample warning about those who are proving unfaithful. JWs fail to recognize that identity, because they have been mislead into believing that it is impossible for their own leadership to fulfill it. They have fallen for the powerful deception, that the WT is God's spirit-directed organization and earthly extension of Mount Zion... rather than the anointed priesthood
(https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2013/02/YHVHs-genuine-mountain.html).
We are seeing the fulfillment of, "the disgusting thing standing in the holy place" (Matt.24:15-16; Mark 13:14).
Jesus said, "let the reader use discernment". Yes, we need spiritual perception, in order to recognize this "abomination of desolation".

Those who I gather with, have also abandoned the name "Jehovah". It was never God's name, which is admitted by the WT. Our reasons for not using that name will become clear to you, if you read the blog posts about that. Here is one to start, if you are interested:

Your next mention, is concerning the memorial. You ask for my perspective on how you might honor the occasion. You say that Eric Wilson teaches, that Jesus commanded all his followers to partake. I believe that this is a great error, and I will partially explain now, why.
Only out of context from the rest of the scriptures, can one form that conclusion. If we only look at Jesus saying, "Take... eat... this means my body", would we assume that he is telling all his followers to partake.
I would like to use an illustration at this point.
If we had a recording of a couple having dinner on the night that the man made a marriage proposal, and heard the bridegroom say... "Please marry me"... would we assume that he loved all who listened to the tape and that he was asking all hearers, to marry him?
No, of course not.
We have to look at who Jesus was speaking to that night, and who was present to hear him say his original words. Were all his disciples, there at the first Memorial? No, they were not. Jesus had multitudes that were following him. Upon his entrance into Jerusalem that week, a large crowd in Jerusalem was hailing him as their king (Matt.21:1-4,5-9; John 12:12-15,16-19; 12:42).

The only ones that were at this intimate event, were the ones chosen by Jesus (John 6:70; 13:1,18; Mark 14:16-18; Matt.26:20)
Here is a link that will help you to learn more about who should partake:
It contains other links for more information. There are dozens of posts on the subject.

If Jesus meant to make the marriage covenant with all his disciples (Heb.12:24; Luke 22:20; Eph.5:25; Rev.21:2), and have them share in the emblems of the promise, he certainly could have included them (Mark 6:34-37,38-41,42-44).
He didn't.
Eph.5 reads
"23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless."

(Col.1:22;  2Pet. 3:14; Rev.21:2; 19:7-8; 14:5; 6:9-11; 19:8)

Mr. Wilson may believe that his conclusion about who should partake is soundly based upon scripture, but it is out of context. There is a bride of promise belonging to Jesus. That Bride is not the only identity that can hear, obey, and gain life through Jesus Christ (Rev.22:17).
The difference, is the means by which life is gained. Children receive life from their parents. To get that life, they do not need to be, the eternal parents themselves (Isa.9:6; Gal.4:26; Rev.21:2-3).
Again, if you keep learning, a full Biblical understanding of these things will be gained by you.
As you say, "being anointed, in the sense that the WT teaches"... is not what matters, because being anointed in the sense that the WT teaches, is error.  The WT understands that calling, as being a desire to go to heaven. That is so wrong, from many angles.
What matters, is being anointed in the sense that scriptures teach.

For what purpose, did God cause anointing to occur?
Was it not to designate to his people and to the one being anointed, who among his nation he chose to be a priest or king? Those who received such an anointing, were well aware of the event that installed them to fulfill their God-assigned position.
Experiencing that powerful spirit testimony of God's installation, has nothing to do with the future one desires for themselves, which belief is based upon the ignorant doctrine that the heirs of the earth, are banned from it.
Neither is the genuine anointing concluded upon a baseless assumption, that we are all priests and kings, all anointed, and all partakers.

The WT depicts the heirs with Christ, as legless, bearded, Caucasian, male clones, all sitting on literal thrones above the clouds, consigned forever to observe from above, others enjoying the earth.
The Bible makes clear that this depiction, is false
(Rev.5:10; Rev.21:2; Dan.2:35; Zech.12:3; Isa.2:1-3; Ps.45:16; Gen.28:13-14; Gal.3:29)(Gen.28:14; Rev.22:2)[Zech.12:3; Rev.11:5; 20:9 (Eph.2:6; Rev.12:5; 2:26-27)].
(Heb.1:6; Acts 3:21)

So then... how do those not anointed "commemorate his death appropriately"?
I will give you a link to a similar question that was asked.
But I will also say some important things, not mentioned at that link...
At Matthew chapter 22, verses 1-10, Jesus used an illustration of a marriage feast.
Click here to read in new window:

Revelation speaks of this feast, and those who are invited to it (Rev.19:7,9)
Note that at Matt.22:9... those invited are those "leaving the city" (Rev.17:18; 18:4).

Those who disobey Jesus command to flee the city....
 (Luke 21:21-22; 17:26-29,30-33,34-37; Rev.11:8,3; 12:6,14; Luke17:37)
          (See link: Eagles or Vultures)
.....after the "abomination of desolation" is present, are not invited to that marriage feast.

So what is my point, regarding respect for the Memorial promise and covenant, which Jesus made that night to those he had chosen?

If we really respect that relationship between Jesus and his bride... would we not want to attend the wedding reception, when that promise is finally being realized?
Clearly, those invited and who choose to attend, are not the Bride herself. Yet at that reception, the Bride herself and those who recognize her, are offering what is provided at that feast (Rev.22:17; Matt.22:9-10; 19:9)

Are exiles, now leaving an unfaithful Jerusalem, because they are able to discern the "abomination of desolation"... a "disgusting thing, standing where it does not belong"? Are there those who are capable of hearing what the spirit says to the congregations, having been given the wings of eagles, to feed on those who have been slain? Are those perceptive ones, inviting others to what they have found?
If you now believe or learn that to be so, I hope you will take a hard look at the scriptures which indicate, which supper All may now be participating in...
the promise Jesus made to his bride, or,
the invitation being given, to enjoy the provisions of his promise to her, being fulfilled.

ADDITION:

What is the difference between the Memorial supper, and the marriage feast of the Lamb?

In the memorial, Jesus leaves his betrothed bride, but promises to return (John 16:5-6; 14:3).
He tells her what to do while he is gone (Mark 13:34).
When he returns, he then marries the COMPLETED Bride... all those who have been faithful with their assignment, sealed as slaves of God through their death for truth, just as Jesus was (Eph.5:25-27; Rev.21:2,9-11,27; 19:7-8; 6:9-11;  2Pet. 3:14; Rom.6:5; Mark 8:35;  2Cor. 5:15; Rev.6:11).
When all the faithful have been gathered in (Matt.3:12; John 18:9)...
...the Father provides a celebratory feast (Matt.22:2,4; Rev.19:9; Isa.25:6-8; 55:1-2; Rev.22:17) of spiritual food...
...which is the unfurling of the 7 sealed scroll of Revelation (Dan.7:13; Rev.5:7,9; Rev.20:11-12; 22:16,6; 10:7; John 15:26; 16:13; Mal.3:1; Matt.25:6; Heb.13:13; Matt.25:10; Rev.22:16).

Guardian Angel -- Do we have one?

A Question I received:
"I am I infatuated with angels I hear of people talking about experience they had. I want to know if we are each given a Angel to watch over us. I need more info on this."

My Reply:
I will help you to consult the Bible, so that we can have the wisdom of God when seeking an answer.
The Father, Jesus, and the faithful angels, are not the only spirit creatures. There is Satan and the demons. People can have experiences with the wicked spirits, who are pretending to be good (2Cor.11:14-15; Matt.25:41; Eph.6:10-12).

Notice that at Eph.6:10 linked above, it reads;
"10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.".
We are being asked to trust in the power of the Lord. Do we really believe that Jesus and the Father are watching over their servants (Ps.34:15-22; Matt.10:29) (John 17:12; Dan.12:1; Ps.34:7), and that they have the power to protect and help us?
[(Dan.12:1 "great PRINCE" Isa.9:6 (PRINCE of peace)].
Did Jesus or God ever tell us that we should look to other spirits (who may be evil) to guide or protect us? Rather than be infatuated with thoughts of spirits, would it not be safer and of more benefit to us, to follow the guidance of Jesus, at Matt.6:13?
It reads;
"13 And *abandon us not into temptation (trials, tests),[a]
but deliver us from the evil one.”

Why did Jesus direct us to pray for God to deliver/rescue us?
Because when we pray for that, we are learning that it is God, who delivers us from the evil one. It is God, who protects us, and it is God that we should look to, and ask for, protection.
Please read Ps.18:1-3:
Is God too weak, to care for us Himself? (Isa.59:1)

Rather than risk being mislead by a demon, it is best not to be infatuated with spirits, and their contact with humans. It is safer to train our heart and mind, to pray like Jesus taught us. When we do, we are learning how to cope, and in whom we should trust.

But now there is some thing new to learn, about the idea of Guardian Angels.
The word "Angel", means "messenger" in the original language the Bible was written in.
[All these verses, call humans, "angels" in the original writing:

God and Jesus have new creation "angels" that serve them. They are spirit-born of God, and they are human (Rom.8:11,9; Eph.2:6; Rev.19:11,14; 17:14;  2Cor.10:3-5; John 1:51; Gen.28:12-14; 12:7,3; 22:15-18; Gal.3:29; Gen.28:12-14).

They, have been assigned to take care of the sheep of Jesus (John 21:17; Matt.5:14; Rom.1:16;  1Thess.2:7; Luke 12:42; Acts 20:28;  1Cor.4:1;  2Tim.4:1-2;  1Pet.5:2-4; Matt.25:23).

If you need more help to understand about guardian angels that are human "angels" (human "messengers" of Jesus), this link may help:
https://pearl-holycity.blogspot.com

Of course, Jesus cautioned us to test out those who claim to have that assignment (1John 4:1; Matt.7:15-20). Just as there is a risk of being mislead by the devil and his demons; there is a risk of being mislead by the human angels that Satan is using (Rev.16:13; 13:11,15; 19:20;  1Tim.4:1; Matt.24:24-25).
Jesus has equipped us to identify the false angels, from those who are true (John 7:18; Luke 6:43-45; Matt.7:20) (See https://pearl-finetrees.blogspot.com)

If we find those who are genuine and acting in faithfulness, we can be cared for. They will provide spiritual protection, if they are heeded (Luke 10:16; John 13:20; Matt.10:40-41).
