Discerning the Body / A God of Order

I have found it necessary to write about the Body of Christ,
and it's members individually (1Cor.12:27).

Even though all anointed are given spirit and truth (John 4:24;  1John 2:20,27; John 16:13),
not all are given identical gifts of truth and spirit (1Cor.12:4,5,6,7; Acts 18:26).
God distributes these gifts in different capacities (1Cor.12:17,18).
All are to benefit from the gifts given to each (1Cor.12:7,21,22,25,26).

Many even among the anointed do not want to accept the scriptures which clarify this arrangement...
Eph.2:20; Phil.3:17;  1Cor.14:32,33;  1Cor.12:28; Eph.3:5,2,3,4,5.
These scriptures clearly show the arrangement and order God has designed Christ's body to have.
When it says,
"First apostles, second prophets, third teachers....."
(1Cor.12:28,29)
It is not speaking of a time frame.
How do we know this?
Did any prophets come before the apostles?
Did any prophets come before Christ (the cornerstone)?
Are there no more "prophets" after the emergence of "teachers"?
Are there no more teachers after there are healers?

 By a brief examination of the fact that this is not a chronological progression of layers,
the question then arises; what does it mean to be first, second, third, etc.?
Jesus referred to that answer at Matt.20:16; Mark 10:40; and Luke 14:10,11.

1Cor.12:18 reads;
"But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be."
Does this not make clear that the various parts of Christ's body are placed...
not according to time, but according to God's assignment for them?

This can be compared to a typical army.
Certainly a General can be appointed after the army already had Sergeants.
The scriptures prove this application accurate...
When we read Acts 2:17,18...
"‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy."

and Rev.11:3;
"And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.

Clearly, there will be prophets after there were teachers.
There are prophets in the last days, and there were teachers in the first century
(1Tim.4:16; Rom.12:7;  2Tim.2:2,24; Matt.28:20;  1Cor.4:17; etc.).

Since we know prophets are "second", and teachers are "third",
this cannot be referring to a chronological progression,
since some prophets (2nd) come after some teachers (3rd).

Many even among anointed, cannot accept that it is just as the scriptures reveal....
the foundation upon which the others are built, supported, and function
is apostles and prophets
(Eph.2:20,21; 3:5;  1Cor.3:10;  2Tim.1:13; 2:2; 3:14;  2Pet.1:19; Heb.13:7; Titus 2:15).

We are told that Christ is BOTH... the root and the offspring of David.
This is not only about chronological order, but most significantly about a dynamic structure of purpose and operation.

To illustrate;
In a literal army, there are various classifications.
Each have their assignment and place within the functioning of that army.
The army is not built from the ground up, but rather all classifications are perpetually
renewed as vacancies open.
The army is not constructed by choosing the commander in chief first,
the generals, second;
the colonels third;
the lieutenants, forth;
the sergeants fifth; etc.
  so that for a time there are only the commander and generals in the army,
and later the colonels are added, while there are still no lieutenants.

Instead...
God sent His people prophets, judges and deliverers first....
   leading up to the Messiah cornerstone.

Even after the emergence of "teachers", there would be replacement prophets....
just as a literal army may need replacement Generals and Colonels to direct.
A General can receive his post and assignment, after sergeants already exist.
The appointment has nothing to do with a chronological progression of officers.
All that matters is a soldier's assigned position,
and the relation that position has to the rest of the army.
In this way, there is order and accomplishment.
It is God who chooses such positions in Christ's spiritual army (Rev.19:11,14).
He sees to it that all positions are filled as they are needed,
and He fills them with whomever He chooses, whenever He chooses.

Yet unlike a literal army,
the members of Christ's body love and respect one another,
as well as one another's God-assigned position. This is because
anything we have or do, is not from us, but from God 
(1Cor.4:7;  1Pet.4:10,11; Rom.11:36; 12:3; Phil.2:3).

When we are told that God arranges things orderly, (1Cor.14:33)
this is especially true of His Temple, the body of Christ (1Cor.3:16; Eph.2:20,21,22).
All anointed are strongly commanded to discern that order within the Body (1Cor.12:18; Eph.5:17).

1Cor.11:29 reads;
"For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord, eats and drinks judgment on himself."

All members of the body must recognize the order within Christ's body, so that it can function according to the will of Him who created it.
One of the most important things a chosen one can do, is to soon discern their place in the body, following anointment.
Imagine someone chosen to be a "healer", deciding he will rather be a prophet...
or an administrator, deciding instead that he wants to be an apostle...
or a prophet deciding he would rather heal.
If this occurred, what would result?
Would the members of Christ "go on perceiving what the will of God is"?
Would they even be capable of accomplishing the will of their Father amidst such chaos?

How is it that the apostles and prophets are "first" and "second", and establish a "foundation" of orderly structure within the Body of Christ?
Imagine if we did not have the Greek scriptures which came from the apostles and Christ,
but rather, laid a new foundation written by someone chosen to be a healer (1Cor.3:11).
How could the final prophets sound the warnings sourced in God's Word, if that Word were ignored by them?
How could a teacher teach, without having the guidance of the apostolic accounts (2Tim.2:2), and the prophet's interpretations and insights given them by divine vision (Num.12:6; Amos 3:7; Rev.10:7;  2Pet.1:19,20)?

The Body of Christ is now in confusion (the meaning of "Babylon").
This should compel every anointed one to be sober in examining themselves (Gal.6:4;  1Cor.11:28).
They must also be sober to "discern the body" and their functioning place within it.
If someone chosen to be an apostle, ignored the cornerstone, would he be equipped to do his assignment?
If a prophet ignored Christ and the apostles, would he be equipped to offer the fine fruit of true interpretation of prophecy? (Matt.10:27; Rev.11:3)
If someone chosen to be a "teacher" ignored the prophets; would he be equipped to teach current revelation and warning?
(2Chron.25:15,16; Zech.1:6; Eze.33:4; Isa.58:1; Rev.10:7; Eze.3:7; Amos 4:12)

Many teachers today have become self-assuming and rebellious in this regard. Since Holy Spirit does not support their taking a position of prophet or apostle, they must resort to hours of independent research into worldly wisdom, in search of something to teach. Their doctrines are sourced outside both the Body, and outside God's spirit and design. They are working independently of the Body, God's will, and Holy Spirit (1John 2:19; Acts 20:30; Col.2:19). These do not "discern the body"; and when they partake of the emblems which portray that very arrangement of order, they are judged.
These rebel against God's will for them. As a result, their own works by divine calling, are not "fully performed" (Gal.6:4;  1Cor.11:28; Rom.12:6,7,8; Rev.3:2)

The Truth I have been shown, and in obedience, work to offer others,
is often rejected on the basis of my flesh (Gal.3:28,26; Acts 2:18), and upon a denial and lack of faith concerning my divine assignment within the Body. That assignment is completely unrelated to my own will (Rom.9:16; John 15:16;  1Cor.12:18; 4:1).
All those chosen who reject God's arrangement for them in this time of the end, are in peril (Matt.10:41;  1Thess.2:13; Prov.16:18; Phil.4:9).
I do not ask for others to accept my own authority 
(Rom.3:23; John 5:43; 7:16,17,18; 12:49; 14:10; 17:21;  1Cor.4:7).
Certainly, we are warned about false prophets (Matt.7:15; 24:24;  1John 4:1).
But this should not result in the members of the Body, rejecting the prophets who are such at God's direction and choosing.
The scriptures tell us how to discern who we should accept or reject (Matt.7:20; John 7:17,18;  1John 4:1,2,3,4,5,6; Mal.3:18)! Put that knowledge to use, and stop being indecisive!

Should a prophet who proves to be offering fine fruit be rejected on the basis of their gender,
 or based upon one's discontent with their own assignment? 
(1Cor.3:3; 11:18,19;  2Cor.12:15,16,17,19,20)
Who are we to question God's choices (Isa.45:9; Rom.9:19,20,21)?
This is precisely the lesson of Luke 14:7,8,9,10,11.

As a prophet, should I be resentful that I am not an apostle?
Should I resent that I am not Jesus Christ?
Should I resent that I am not a healer, or simply a teacher, or a translator?
Do you imagine that I would not find joy in such relief ?
I expect that I don't fully understand the responsibilities of the other anointed members of Christ's Body; but I do know that the responsibility of being a prophet is crushing, if not in constant reliance upon God.
If anyone imagines that being a part of the Temple's foundation means to enjoy prominence or domination of others, I remind you of the words of Christ...
"But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant." (Matt.23:11)
(1Cor.4:9; Acts 7:52; Matt.23:37; Phil.2:17;  2Cor. 12:15;  1John 3:16; Col.1:24)
I am here only to serve, as I hope many of you are already aware.


Clearly by their obvious position within the Organization...the GB is the Steward over the household of God's slaves (Luke 12:42). Yet obviously, to be over slaves is not to be the only slave. Of all Christ's anointed slaves, any of them may and should, prove "faithful and discreet" (Col.3:24;  1Cor.4:2). Many anointed slaves have been thrown out of the Master's household by the wicked steward (Luke 12:45,46; Hosea 6:5)!
What will become of that house when all the faithful are out..faithfully functioning outside the condemned City (Luke 21:20,21,22; 17:29,30)?
 (Matt.23:37,38; Rev.18:4,5,24; Matt.25:6; Heb.13:13; Rev.6:11)
Have not the GB violated Prov.25:6,7,8...by rejecting the foundation...
those chosen by God to be prophets and apostles?
They reject the healthful teachings of Christ, subsequently penned by the apostles.
They reject the present prophecies, as well as the present fulfillment of past prophecies.

The GB has laid a new foundation for themselves...
They have made themselves the cornerstone (Phil.2:6;  1Cor.3:11), being benefactor to a NON-anointed Organization of counterfeit priests (Rev.13:14,15; 19:20)...
creating a foreign temple to a "foreign god" 
(Dan.11:37,38,39; Rev.9:11; 13:8,15; Eze.8:5,6,7,8,9,10).
They have erected a counterfeit Mt.Zion (Rev.8:8; Zech.4:7,9),

and a decoy "Kingdom" while Satan yet rules.

The true anointed prophets will arise at God's direction, spirit, and will.
Their purpose is to warn those headed for death due to rebellion,
and a leaving of God and His expressed direction (Isa.42:8; 48:11; Rev.13:8,15).

This rebellion can be committed by anointed both within and without the Organization (Dan.11:35; Matt.23:37;  1Cor.12:18,28; 11:29).
We now live in the greatest time of grave spiritual testing. We are all in the "valley of the decision", where the Almighty God will pass judgment on all those claiming to know Him. In all humility, fear and trembling, we best focus on how to please Him,
rather than griping about our assignments
(Heb.2:1,2,3,4; Rom.15:3,5,6,7; Jude 1:16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25).
Do we belittle our own place within God's plan of salvation and mercy, which is so expansive as to be beyond our comprehension?

There will be order in the Temple of God, exactly according to His decree.
It is our own choice, whether or not we will be in harmony with the decree of His order.
We will reap what we sow,
which may not be what we prefer to imagine, if we resist the Spirit 
(Acts 7:51,52;  1Thess.5:19,20; 4:8;  1Cor.14:32,33; Amos 3:7,6; Rev.10:7).

I come as prophet, not only to the GB, but to all the captive chosen remnant (Rev.13:7,10; Col.2:8),
  as well as all those deceived by the false prophet, it's sea beast, and all those marked as their slaves (Rev.13:11,15,8,14; 19:20; 16:13; 13:16).

I ask nothing for myself.
I only offer what I have been given,
to be accepted or rejected.
Beyond my own reactions of joy, grief, fear, and awe;
...the consequences due each anointed one,
         based upon their acceptance or rejection of their own assignment,
         and the assignment of another,
are up to them.

ADDITION, taken from my response to another Chosen one, who is offended by my accepting my assigned place in the body of Christ, as a prophet,
and that the work I do by the authority given me, is by demonic spirit and pride.

Why would we first of all, submit to the apostles?
Jesus himself said that upon that rockmass, he would build his congregation (Matt.16:18; Rev.21:14).
Isn’t that true today, as we base what we teach upon the Greek scriptures?

Why secondly, to prophets?
Because it is to prophets that God declares the interpretations of the scriptures, and what He is going to do, before he does it…
“Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7)
“But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.” (Rev.10:7)

Are all members of Christ, Prophets?
Paul asked this same question…
“Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?” (1Cor.12:29)

Well, although we know all are not apostles (There were 12 - Rev.21:14),
we can know if all are prophets by looking at Num.12:6…
“God said, “Listen to my words: “When there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams.”

If we have not experienced God speaking to us in vision, we are not a prophet in the body of Christ, according to God.

But if we go back to 1Cor.12:4-7,12,18
“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit,  to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. Just as a body, though one, has many different parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.”

“And He gave SOME as apostles, and SOME as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ” (Eph.4:12)

Why has God given different assignments within the body of Christ?
“If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.” (1Cor.12:17,18)
    1Cor.11:29 tells us that if we do not discern this body of Christ with it’s various parts, as well as our place within it (1Cor.11:31), we stand condemned.

God has placed us within an order so that the body of Christ can be built up, according to the assignment of each part. We are told that the spirit which prophets receive is used according to their own faith…
“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith” (Rom.12:6)
“The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets, for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.” (1Cor.14:32,33)

What is the reason given?
God is a God of order and peace. If a teacher does not submit to the apostles, is there order in the body of Christ, and is it built up?
“Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.” (Heb.13:17)

What does it mean to be the foundation? Is this merely speaking of an order of time?
No, that is not possible, because there were prophets before the apostles (Acts 7:52), and there are prophets which come in the time of the end, long after first century teachers (Rev.11:3; Heb.5:12).

Paul helps us to understand what it means to be a part of the foundation…
“By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s LABOR will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work.” (1Cor.3:10,12,13)

Clearly this first scripture shows us that the foundation Paul laid, was not one of mere time, but was one of teachings, faith, and example (1Cor.11:1). The continuing work on that building, would continue to add “living stones” (1Pet.2:5,9).
“Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own LABOR. For we are God’s fellow workers (2Cor.6:1); you are God’s field, GOD’s BUILDING.” (1Cor.3:8,9)
“Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not the result of my work in the Lord? Even though I may not be an apostle to others, surely I am to you! For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.” (1Cor.9:1,2)
“We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.” (1John 1:3)

If you disagree with the divine order God has given the body, as depicted in the scriptures I have cited, please publish here how you understand these previous scriptures.

Just as Paul could not help where God placed him in the body of Christ, neither can I (1Cor.15:9,10). I do not take pride in my place in the Body, but I have anxiety and fear to fulfill what God has assigned to me.

To those given more, more is demanded (Luke 12:48).
Each slave is given according to their ability…
“For it is just like a man about to go on a journey, who called his own slaves and entrusted his possessions to them. ″To one he gave five talents, to another, two, and to another, one, each according to his own ability; and he went on his journey.” (Matt.25:14,15)
And yet, without Christ (John 15:5) and the power of God (Phil.4:13), we can do nothing.

Those given much are expected to serve others more…
“Calling them to Himself, Jesus said to them, “You know that those who are recognized as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them; and their great men exercise authority over them. ″But it is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant; and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be slave of all.” (Mark 10:42,43,44)

"So I will very gladly spend for you everything I have and expend myself as well. If I love you more, will you love me less?" (2Cor.12:15)

Prophets within Christ's Body / Temple Foundation


A CORRESPONDENCE BETWEEN ME AND ANOTHER ANOINTED ONE:

I don't know if you are planning to touch base with me today or not,
but could you please give me your "quick" take on the following verse:

What do you get out of  1Cor.14:32,33  ...particularly as translated in NIV?

Quick opinion, eh? LOL
No such thing.

I have given thought to my work. I'd like to explain.
Of all the questions I receive, I have realized that I must prioritize questions from anointed ones.
I used to think they were not as needy as others, that their faith was stronger, etc.
But I currently reason that God's purpose in our time, is for the anointed to become harmonized in thought, based upon truth.

Reasonably, this will be aided if I can draw each anointed one's perspective to be in harmony with the truth which sprouts from the things I was and am shown, by Holy Spirit.
It is not that I seek to dominate the faith of others, but rather to convey the "one faith" given by spirit and truth,
as expressed in scripture, by Holy Spirit, and as revealed and interpreted by means of inspired vision.
In line with this new awareness and realization of my responsibilities,
I will work on your question immediately.
As I have seen, the anointed, logically, have the most deep questions and involved answers.
May our Father enable us to fully accomplish our own work, to the progressive satisfaction of His will and the sake of Creation's salvation.

First I will tell you that I have no doubt that God chose me to prophesy.
I don't mean to define "prophesy" as many commonly do (including the society).
I mean it in the full scriptural  sense...
only because of loyalty to the scriptures....and their expressed definition of prophet.
I don't know if you have ever read my "personal file" (pearl-personalfile.blogspot.com),
but it is upon the basis of my anointing experience,
that I have drawn this scriptural conclusion (Num.12:6; 24:4,16; Hosea 12:10; Amos 3:7; Acts 2:17,18).
This causes in me, not feelings of pride or intelligence...but of great fear, and an anxiety (1Cor.7:34,29; Luke 12:48 B) that I be found faithful.
I hope that as you read the cited scriptures, you will keep this in mind.

Below are scriptural considerations that come into play in my response to your question.
I hope to explain how each verse below, contributes to my answer to you.


1Cor.14:32,33
"The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets.
For God is not a God of disorder but of peace. As in all the congregations of the saints"

The most obvious assertions of  1Cor.14:32,33 is that genuine prophets have been directed and instructed by God and Christ. The authority of being eyewitnesses...
 (1John 1:1,2,3,4;  2Pet.1:16; Amos 3:7; Rev.22:6; 4:1;  1Cor.14:32;  2Pet.1:20,21; Num.12:6) 
...of that divine truth is for no human being to hinder, restrain, or control.

The prophet alone is to determine how to discharge the spirit they were given through divine vision. This avoids any hampering of God's spirit and the truth it conveyed to the prophet. The prophet's message of divine source is allowed to be unhindered and direct. Obedience to 1Cor.14:32 assures the support of the other members of the anointed body of Christ. If the prophets are given this authority and freedom within the "Temple", there will be a basis for peace and order (1Cor.14:32,33).
If the other members grow jealous or proud, rebel against the apostles or prophets (Eph.2:20), and contradict what holy spirit has shown them; it will remove a peaceful and smooth working order....
2Cor.12:20         "For I am afraid that when I come I may not find you as I want you to be,
                           and you may not find me as you want me to be.
                           I fear that there may be quarreling, jealousy,
                           outbursts of anger, factions, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder."
                         
To understand this "order" more fully, I refer to....

1Cor.12:28-31   "And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets,
                            third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing,
                            those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those
                            speaking in different kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets?
                            Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healing?
                            Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? 31 But eagerly desire the greater gifts.
                            And now I will show you the most excellent way."

Here we see that there is an order to the body of Christ (1Cor.3:11). "First of all" come the apostles. All descending members that follow, must be built upon their teachings and writings, which are found in God's Word
(1John 4:6; Gal.1:8;  2Thess.2:15;  1Cor.3:10; Phil.3:17; John 6:70 A; Matt.16:18; Rev.21:14; Zech.4:9,10,11,14; Rev.11:4,3).
Any other parts of the body who are not sourced in this foundation, are not "of the body" (1Cor.3:11; Col.2:19).
"Second, prophets"
This asserts that the prophets are to be in subjection to the apostles. But it also asserts that those to follow (teachers, healers, administrators) are to be in subjection to the prophets. They are joined with the apostles, as the foundation of faith and hope for the priests 
(Eph.2:20; 3:5; Luke 11:49; Deut.18:19;  2Chron.36:16; Jer.26:5,6; Mal.4:5; Luke 9:30; Isa.40:3; Zech.2:9,11; 4:9; 6:15; Num.16:29,30; Hosea 6:5;  1Kings 18:36; Jer.26:15; Rev.11:3,7; 17:6; 18:24,4; Jer.26:15).
This is perfectly harmonious with 1Cor.14:32,33 and Eph.3:2,3,4,5.
Yet 1Cor.12:31 exhorts such prophets, that their "gift" does not excel that which all can achieve......Love. (which brings me to the next reference)......

1Cor.13:2,3        "If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge,
                             and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
                           "If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but
                            have not love, I gain nothing."
The next three scriptures shows what restraint may be placed upon a true prophet (and it's source).....

Rom.12:6,3       "We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying,
                           let him use it in proportion to his faith."
                          "For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more
                           highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment,

A true prophet should declare the things he/she has been taught, but only in proportion to his faith. This means that as the meaning of the visions emerge according to spirit (continued education by spirit) and truth (scripture), the prophet's faith is sharply defined with confidence. He should declare accordingly. They must continue to "think of yourself with sober judgment", not adding their own deductions to their message. Keeping all humility, they realize all they understand, was given to them, and is not a result of an intrinsic superiority. All the parts of the body, have received of their gift from God. We are merely vessels of God's mercy, and we all serve in godly fear. Although Paul wished that all were prophets, he appreciated and honored the other gifts....

1Cor.12:4,10,18   "There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit."
                             "to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing
                              between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to
                              still another the interpretation of tongues."
                             "But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he
                              wanted them to be."
1Pet.4:10          "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others,
                           faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms."
1Cor.14:3-5       "But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.
                            He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies 
                               edifies the church.
                            I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for he
                            who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues,
                            unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification."
1Cor.14:31        "For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged."
2Pet.1:20,21      "Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the
                            prophet's own interpretation."
                          "for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they
                           were moved by the Holy Spirit."

Which brings us to my next thought.
I believe that the apostles....being "first", also had all the gifts to follow.....prophesying, teaching, tongues, healing, administration, etc.
This infers that the prophets....being second, also had all the gifts to follow.....teaching, tongues, healing, administration, etc.
....and so on.
Yet all parts of the "body" have been shown honor by God, and should be shown honor by the other members. All are needed and make a vital contribution to the health of the body 
(1Cor.12:20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27).

This subjection of the rest of the body, to the apostles and prophets is further mentioned in  scripture......

Eph.2:19,20      "Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with
                           God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the
                           apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone."
Eph.3:2-5           "the grace of God which was given to me for you, how that by revelation
                           He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already),
                           which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now
                           been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: by which,
                           when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ".
Heb.1:1             "In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and
                           in various ways"
2Pet.3:2            "I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the
                          command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles."
1Cor.14:29        "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully
                           what is said by them."
Rev.22:6           "The angel said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord,
                            the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants
                            the things that must soon take place."
Rev.11:3,4        "And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy
                           one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”
                           These are the two olive trees and the two lamp-stands standing before
                           the God of the earth.

A true prophet has really been contacted and instructed by God through Christ. The visions they are given are reliable, and should be heeded by all, including the prophet themselves. Being an apostle, Paul was given prophetic vision, as were the other genuine apostles...
2Cor.12:1-7        "It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. I will come to visions and revelations
                             of the Lord: I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body
                             I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows—
                           such a one was caught up to the third heaven. And I know such a man—
                           whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows—
                            how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which
                            it is not lawful for a man to utter. Of such a one I will boast;
                            yet of myself I will not boast, except in my infirmities.
                            For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak
                            the truth. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be

All this, I have experienced, by the power of the Almighty God.

In the body of Christ, there is neither male nor female (Gal.3:28).
Gal.3:28 is not speaking of the future, but the present.
There were many women prophets (pearl-womenteach.blogspot.com).
Prophecy declares that in the time of the end, there will be more.
Male and female prophets are not segregated in the scriptures.
Neither should they be in our own mind. If someone discourages heeding a prophet, on the basis of their sex alone...they are defying Holy Spirit and the body of Christ, according to God's own choosing. (LINK-1) (LINK-2)
Male or female, a prophet is a prophet. Any who work against a true prophet work against Truth, regardless of whether that prophet is male or female.

Yet we know that according to the power and design of Satan, there are also the presence of "false prophets". (False Prophets)
1John 4:1-3        "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God:
                           because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye
                           the Spirit of God:
                           Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
                           And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh
                           is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard
                           that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."

A true Prophet believes and preaches the physical incarnation of the Word, into Jesus Christ. He will preach Jesus as came to Earth and put on humanity in order to redeem us all. This previous incarnation would precede the next one (Heb.1:6; Acts 3:21; Matt.17:11; Acts 1:11). Any who deny this future earthy materialization of Christ and his co-rulers (Rev.5:10; Rom.8:19; John 1:51; Rev.21:2), essentially deny the first one (John 1:14). The very concept of an exclusive "heavenly hope", promotes the "spirit of the anti-Christ" (1John 4:2-3;  2John 1:7).

Anxiety | The Spiritual Meaning of 7

"While Our Father in heaven's truth is revealed in His Word and expounded upon in your prophetic blogs (which I understand), I'm concerned about us facing Satan's physical counterfeit.
I feel we need to be physically as well as spiritually prepared. What is coming upon us, and exampled in a big way with the Covid-19 situation, is a lack of food and provisions to physically provide for us until the much anticipated "end". Emotional aspects that come along with it as well. Will we be physically prepared (as in the biblical principal of the 7 good years followed by 7 bad years) to be able to endure until the end?"

It does not hurt to be prudent and store up some supplies. But our greatest anxiety, should be to learn and do the will of God and to please the Lord.
 

Regarding your reference to "seven good years and seven bad years" (Gen.41:29-30)...
God was the originator of Pharoah's dream (Gen.41:25), as well as it's interpreter (Gen.40:8; 41:15-16). God was responsible for the 7 years of bounteous surplus, and the 7 years of famine. Why would God do such a thing? What is the lesson?
The numeral 7 has symbolic meaning.
(Rev.1:20; 22:6; 19:10; 8:6; Isa.58:1; Jer.35:15; Rev.5:6; Ps.19:4; Rev.4:5; Matt.6:22; Rev.5:6)
God and Christ send out the spirit of prophecy (7), into the "earth".

Satan himself has 7 heads (Rev.12:3), which are the main manifestations of his dominion through false prophets who take a leadership, governing role sourced in the ruler of this world

"Seven" years of bounty, is the spiritual food we receive from God, through His true prophets (Isa.55:1-2; Mal.3:10).
Seven years of famine are the years during which the false prophets/harlots/fallen stars, reign over God's nation.
Stewards can be faithful or unfaithful (Luke 12:42,47).
Faithful true prophets provide true food at the time it is needed.
Unfaithful, false prophets, cause famine
(Isa.29:8; Rev.3:17-18; Isa.29:8-9,10; Jer.51:7; Rev.14:8; Isa.28:7-8).

So what is the divine Bible lesson, contained in the 7 years of bounty and 7 years of famine?

Well, Joseph advised that during the 7 years of bounty, provisions be stored up for use during the famine to come (Gen.41:35-36).
The words of God's true prophets, have been "stored up" for us, in the scriptures 
(2Pet.1:19-20,21;  2Tim.3:16-17).
During the 7 years of spiritual famine, caused by "demonic spirits" coming from the mouth of Satan, the Beast, and the false prophet (Rev.16:13-14,15-16;  2Chron.18:21);

 "I don't think God wants us to have anxiety over learning or pleasing him anymore than I'd have wanted my own children to have anxiety over pleasing me. The anxiety aspect is a trigger for me Pearl....I was born in fear and anxiety about Armageddon and God judging and destroying me for every little thing i did or thought. I was around 40 before I shed the majority of this deep terror. God is love...God knows our hearts....if we are righteous inclined and abhor Evil there should not be a feeling of anxiety....however, I understand the context in which it's stated in scriptures you quoted and it suggests it's more focused on the anointed given the huge task each has. That's not to say nothing non-anointed take God's kindness for granted and/or not take in knowledge."

Paul said at  1Cor.7:34
"34 A virgin is anxious about the affairs of the Lord, so that she may be holy in body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world, that is, about how she can please her husband. 35 I’m saying this for your benefit, not to put a noose around your necks, but to promote good order and unhindered devotion to the Lord."

We know that those who comprise the Bride of Christ, are, spiritual virgins. At 2Cor.11, Paul said of them; "2 For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." (2Cor.11:2-3)

If such "virgins" are to remain chaste, they do need to be anxious about the affairs of the Lord, and how they will please him. Paul said that he even had fear for those candidates, and the spiritual danger they were in (2Cor.11:28). They need to be vigilant and concerned about obeying Jesus, thereby remaining in his love.
As Jesus said...
9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love." (John 15:9-10).
There are so many scriptures that discuss the need for endurance, courage, and diligence. To practice such character traits, we must have love, vigilance, deep concern, drive, and even anxiety if we hope to stay motivated in displaying those qualities.
It is not an easy path amid all the persecution from Satan, to remain obedient and productive in Christ. If we had a relaxed attitude about it, we would never, ever, reach our goal.

Spiritual abuse and fostering fear of men (which is what the WT actually fostered), is not of God. Having that history in our lives, does require sorting out. But does it mean taking on a sense of peace and security?
Jesus himself said;
"28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna." (Matt.10:28).
There is no way out of the fact that Satan is out there, wanting to devour those inclined toward everlasting life. This is, a matter of life and death. Anxiety is in order... even anxiety about being found faithful. -- Of course I do not want to trigger fears that are unfounded (such as about the GT and Armageddon, as taught by the WT).

....But I also do not want to give a false sense of security with God, because the days ARE wicked, and we are in great danger spiritually (Eph.5:15-16,17). I really don't see how, without any anxiety, we will rise to this occasion. It is not only for the anointed, because Jesus said to teach our hearers to learn, follow, and do, all that he commanded us (Matt.28:20).
If I were not anxious about pleasing God and Christ.... trust me.... there would be no Blog to read. There would be no proper food at the proper time. Each post is a test of determination and stamina, amid all manner of resistance. Without spirit,  I would not be able to do anything. Satan can cause a lot of suffering toward those who are working with Christ to take down his world dominion. If the faithful were anything less than anxious about pleasing God, you could forget it.

This applies to the Bride members:
"30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who *fears* the Lord, she shall gain praise.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her in the gates." (Prov.31:30-31)

There are no "works", ...no praise due...
without a fear of letting God down.
Satan sees to it that faithfulness is as hard as God allows it to be. Accomplishing the will of God under those circumstances, requires more than the usual desire or wakefulness. We are at war, and so are you.

The usage of the words "fear and trembling" is presented this way: "used to describe the anxiety of one who distrusts HIS ability completely to meet all requirements, but religiously does his utmost to fulfill his duty". The next verse ( Phil.2:13 ) verifies that the work wouldn't be done, unless we rely on God working within us - pleasing Him, instead of ourselves. Female Subjection

It has come to my attention that one of the forums has recent posts about me. The opinions expressed are critical and condemning of my position within the body of Christ and my sayings, and claim to have as their righteous and loving goal, my discipline. It is asserted that my female flesh obligates me to be in subjection to all male flesh. Sadly, many have left off reading at this site as a result.
Such pronouncements contain three general claims...
1. That all females (including those chosen to become sons of God) are in submissive subjection to all males.
2. That divine authority rests with men, to criticize and discipline slaves of Christ.
3. That God is limited by gender, in choosing those who are to prophesy.

I am unaware of any words of Christ to the effect of any of these assertions, but for those of you who may feel persuaded to accept these three assertions; I hope to offer scriptural insight into these ideas.

1st forum claim. 
All females (including those chosen to become sons of God -Gal.3:26,28; Rom.8:14) are in submissive subjection to all males.

1Cor.11:3 reads:
"But I want you to know that the head of every man (singular) is Christ, the head of woman (singular) is man (singular), and the head of Christ is God."

How many Christs are head of mankind? One.
How many men are head of woman? One.
Who is that one man who is head of this woman?

1Pet.3:1 reads:
"In the same way, you wives, be submissive to your own husbands so that even if any of them are disobedient to the word, they may be won without a word by the behavior of their wives".
(See also Eph.5:22-23; Col.3:18)

Let's reason on this. What would happen if a man's wife were submissive to all men? What if a woman were told by her husband to stay indoors during a storm, and then she got a call from her neighbor's husband to come over and cook him dinner. Are all men in agreement? Can you imagine the conflict that would result if one woman were in subjection to all men?
Note that Eph.5:23 tells us that the subjection of a wife to her own husband is clearly comparable to the anointed Congregation being in subjection to Christ. Should the Congregation be in subjection to other Lords as well? Or, is subjection to Christ by his anointed "bride", exclusive?
At 2Cor.11:2-3, Paul said;
"For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ."
What type of "virginity" are we talking about?
Two verses help us to know this...

"These are the ones who were not defiled with women*, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being first-fruits to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no falsehood, for they are without fault before the throne of God.", (Rev.14:4-5)
like Christ and all faithful priests of God (1Pet.2:22; Mal.2:7,6).

"For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it!" (2Cor.11:3-4)

If the anointed put up with or accept teachings that are not the truth from Christ (John 14:6),
they have lost their spiritual virginity. These do become defiled with the harlot (1Cor.6:15; Rev.17:2; 2:20,21). Their fornication with this "woman"* (Rev.17:3-4) destroys their spiritual virginity. If the lying filth of the harlot remains within a chosen one's thinking and teaching, they have left the truth of Christ and are defiled. These are the ones who need discipline and repentance.

Again...
Spiritual "virginity" is a loyalty to the truth from Christ, and an exclusive subjection to his teachings.
What determination is necessary, in order to preserve this spiritual virginity and loyalty to the truth of Christ?
At 2Cor.11:4, we are clearly told that we must not accept a different spirit or gospel.
Where would such spirits or gospels alienated from the truth of Christ, come from?
It is likely that this would come from false prophets, about which Christ has warned his followers (Matt.24:24-25).
Might some, or indeed most, of these false prophets, be male?
Yes.
Is spiritual "virginity" only for male members of Christ's body?
Are female chosen ones to subject themselves to male false prophets?
If so, how then do they retain their spiritual virginity exclusively for the truth of Christ?

False prophets often have the power to demand compliance to their false doctrines 
(Mark 8:31; John 15:20; Matt.5:10-11; John 16:2; Rev.13:15).
Are female Chosen ones obliged to subject and enslave themselves to obey them (Rom.6:16;  1Cor.7:23)? Spiritual warfare against such lethal false doctrines is incumbent upon all members of Christ's body (2Cor.10:3-4,5; Acts 5:27-28,29;  1Pet.2:9; 5:8-9;  2Tim.4:2; Rom.10:14-15; Acts 18:26; Matt.9:38) regardless of their gender (1Pet.2:20-21,22; 4:13; Acts 14:22; Gal.3:28,26,29;  1Pet.3:7; Rom.16:1-2).
All faithful must resist pressure to compromise to Satan and his liars (James 4:7; Rev.2:2-3,13-14,16,22; 3:8,10;  2Cor.11:4. Satan's ministers must be resisted, not submitted to (2Cor.11:12-13,14-15,20;  1Cor.7:23; Gal.1:10) or obeyed (Rom.6:16). All Christ's "virgins" must preach truth, despite any threat which results (Matt.5:14; 25:24-25,28; 28:19-20; Phil.2:12-13,15-16; Rev.6:9-10,11; 12:10-11; 20:4; 2:10). All are empowered to expose falsehood (Eph.5:11; Luke 10:19; Eph.4:17-18,19; Eze.3:7-8,9-10,11; 2:6; Isa.50:7; Luke 21:15) in defiance of male false prophets (not in subjection to them). The persecution of the faithful (2Tim.3:12) does not result from subjection and submission to the wishes of the persecutors, but is due to subjection to the faithful course of Christ, in defiance of Satan's liars.
Is this assignment only for male members of the Chosen?

If a female Chosen one is to be in subjection to all males, including the wicked who demand she compromise to her Lord (by "virtue" of the physical gonads they possess -1Sam.16:7;  2Chron.16:9 A), how is it possible for any female chosen one, to prove faithful to the truth of Christ?
Is God and Christ wasting their time in choosing any females to inherit the kingdom,
since she will have to submit herself to the first wicked agent of Satan that demands that she compromise?

The scriptures above reply. Those genuinely of God, humbly hear what they stay (John 8:47).

So female subjection first belongs to God, His Will, and His pleasure and approval (Prov.31:30).


2nd forum claim.
Divine authority rests with men, to criticize and discipline slaves of Christ.

We are likely familiar with the Master's condemnation due the wicked steward, for disciplining his fellow slaves (Matt.24:49; Luke 12:46);
and the fact that wicked slaves are not condemned and punished by any but the returned Christ (Matt.25:19,34,41,46), but there are other scriptures to consider.
Rom.8:33 reads:
"Who will bring a charge against God's chosen saints? It is God who acquits them."

"Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand." (Rom.14:4)

"Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise (or condemnation) from God" (1Cor.4:5)

Whether it is more righteous for a female anointed one to subject herself to the unscriptural judgments of men,
or,
for men to subject themselves to the Word of God;
each must decide.

What then of Revelation's prophets, who seem to judge and condemn?
If you note Rev.11:3-4,5; you may note that the "fire" from their mouths, is not their own thoughts and words, but God's (Rev.11:5; Jer.5:14; 23:29; Hosea 6:5; John 12:48-49; Matt.10:20; Eze.2:7; 3:11*; Rev.13:10*).
(*God's people are in exile/captivity, in the time of the end, and are due this same message.)
These receive their authority to judge (Rev.20:4) from Christ (Rev.2:26-27; 12:5; Jer.23:29; Hosea 6:5), whom they are serving (Rev.11:4; Zech.4:14; James 1:1; Rev.22:3; John 1:51; Eph.2:6).
These prophets provide the Word of God for their hearers, so that all can confirm the scriptural source of their words (2Cor.13:3; Acts 17:11; John 7:16-17,18;  1John 4:1; Matt.7:20).
The message of a true prophet is a scriptural one, not a personal one (Luke 6:42; Rom.14:10).

3rd forum claim. 
God is limited by gender, in choosing those who are to prophesy.

Can God include female prophets within his temple priesthood?

If a female prophet obeys her divine assignment by declaring what God has shown her,
should she cease doing so in order to be in subjection to wicked men who demand her silence?
If she does, how can she follow the example of Christ and other faithful (Acts 5:27-28,29; Gal.1:10)
and retain the approval of God and their one Lord and Head, Christ (Rom.2:29; Luke 12:8-9)?

There is a path which leads to life (Matt.7:14). It is the highway of holiness (Isa.35:8; 40:3; Ps.118:20; Isa.57:14; 62:10). There is a prophecy about those who are on this road (Jer.31:21-22).

There is a place assigned by God, even for a lowly "woman".
Who will dispute with God? I will not, despite the pressure of prideful attacks by inflated male ego.

All prophets are rejected, regardless of their gender 
(Acts 7:52; Matt.5:11-12; 23:31-32,33-34,35-36,37-38; Rev.18:24; 17:6). 
The last prophets are no exception (Rev.11:7-8,9-10; 6:9). This is why the truthful information given to prophets by God (Amos 3:7; Rev.10:7), is initially treasured by them with great appreciation; but results in a bitter after effect due to the reaction of their hearers.

If my accusers truly believe in the subjection of a woman to a man,
just as the Congregation is in subjection to Christ (Eph.5:23;  1Pet.3:15),
then allow me my subjection to my own spiritual Lord and Head,
and do not try to usurp him.
If I were to subject myself to you, I would be committing spiritual fornication;
Just as the ten kings within the "Beast" (Rev.17:12) do so with the ruling Harlot (Rev.17:2)
by their subjection to her and her "wormwood" (Rev.8:10-11; 2:20).
Each of us renders an account to God and Christ...not to other men (Rom.14:12;  2Cor.5:10).

What is the Divine Purpose for Anointed? | Heavenly


In the nation of Israel; those anointed at God's direction, were installed to serve God's nation, as either a priest or king 
(Ex.28:41; 29:7) (1Sam.10:1; 15:1; 16:12,13;  1Kings 1:34,39; 19:15). 
Prophets could also be anointed (1Kings 19:16;  1Chron.16:22; Ps.23:5; 105:15) because they too, are consecrated to serve God and His people (Ps.89:20; Isa.45:1; 61:1; Zech.4:14).
Anointing with the holy oil (Ex.30:25,31), set a person or item apart (Ex.29:21,36; 30:30; 40:9-10,13)... consecrating it so that it became sanctified to serve God 
(Lev.8:10,12; Acts 10:38;  2Cor.1:21,22;  1John 2:20,27; Rev.3:21; Eph.2:6; Rev.5:10; Mal.2:7;  1Cor.4:1).

Jesus said that the material Temple in Jerusalem, would be replaced on the basis of his blood of the New Covenant 
(Heb.9:22;  1Cor.11:25; Rev.5:9,10;  1Cor.6:11,19;  1Pet.2:5,9; Eph.2:20,21,22;  1Cor.3:16; Rev.21:2,3; 22:1,2,3; Matt.7:20). 
The members of that Temple of living stones, would also serve God and His righteous nation.

That capacity of service by the royal priesthood (Rev.5:10), was a covenant promise which God made to Abraham and his seed. God promised Abraham, that all nations would be blessed, through Abraham's seed/offspring (Gen.17:1-4,6; 28:4,12,13,14; Gal.3:29).

Abraham's seed/the trees of life, provide access to the blessing for the nations (John 1:51; Gen.28:12-14; Rev.22:2; Gal.3:29), which is to offer the crystal clear waters of truth (John 4:10,14; Rev.22:17), coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb (Rev.22:1; John 12:49,50; 13:20; Matt.10:20; John 17:22; 1:14).

When Adam and Eve sinned, they lost access to the "Tree of Life" (Gen.3:22,23).

The blessing of life through the fruit of that tree, is once again made accessible from the Holy City (Rev.2:7; 22:1,2,3; Eze.47:12). The anointed servants of God will also be trees of life, to offer provisions of living water in their fruit and leaves... just as was promised, regarding the purpose of the seed of Abraham.

When the original Tree of Life is once again within reach for some, it is not accessible to all... only to the saints who conquer/die (Rev.6:9,10,11; 22:14; 19:8; 2:7; 22:2). 
There is not one tree of life. There are many in the "garden of God" in heaven. All of them, are for the healing from the curse of sin and death, through their fruit and leaves/teachings of spirit and truth.
Access to the tree of life (Christ) does not simply mean having access to his teachings in the Bible. It is the ability to directly and correctly, understand them 
(Mark 4:12; Matt.13:16;  1John 2:20,27;  1Cor.2:10,11,13; 4:1; Rev.10:7; 22:6,16).

Also, Christ is not only the Tree of Life. That is only one of the three symbols representing him. He is also the morning star (Rev.22:16), which rises in the heart to those priests who are brought out of a night of darkness, into the light (2Cor.4:6;  1Pet.2:9; Col.1:13; Eph.2:6; Rev.3:21; 5:10)...
...and he is also the HIDDEN Manna (Rev.2:17; John 6:48,49,50,51) because he can not be perceived, unless God grants it 

(John 6:44; 14:21;  1John 3:2;  1Cor.13:12; Rev.10:4; Dan.12:4,3; Rev.1:20; 10:7; 22:10).

Jesus said that the tree of life, is in the garden of God (Rev.2:7). Where is the garden of God in the New Creation? If you read Rev.22:1,2,3, you can see that the tree of life, is inside heavenly New Jerusalem... along with the other trees of life (Eze.47:12).
Take note, that Rev.22:17 reads; "The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come!’ Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life."
Do you see that there are those granted ears to hear, that are not the Bride? Yet who is it that starts the invitation to the waters of life (contained within the trees of life -Rev.22:1,2). It is the spirit and the Bride. Her members are, the trees of life, who have direct access to those waters.

We may wonder if we really need God's anointed Temple priesthood.
Why did God make Adam's life, dependent upon the Tree of Life, and eating it's fruit?
Why not just provide life and guidance to Adam directly?
How did Adam receive life? How was his eternal life, sustained?
What was the nature of Adam's life? As God's son, given the spirit of God inside him... did Adam become a spirit being? (Gen.2:7)
A question was raised, about Adam being spiritually alive by means of God's breath/spirit being put into Adam, making him a "living soul" made in the image of God. The question was raised, Does that make Adam a spirit being who can go to heaven?
There is a difference between having our flesh kept alive by the spirit/breath in us, [and that spirit being kept alive and maintained by spiritual food (Tree of Life),... and actually being a spirit/tree of life, which provides the spiritual food of life. 
Adam lived by the spirit (which gives life to our mortal flesh -Rom.8:11). Just as all need to accept and obey the teaching of Jesus, in order to remain alive spiritually (John 5:24; 6:63; 3:18); Adam and Eve needed to continue to consume and obey the Tree of Life. They depended upon its sustenance, for sustained life. When Adam and Eve sinned, the Tree of Life was removed from them (Gen.3:22,23,24), as was sustained life.
Without God's spirit in him (Ps.104:29), and without having living, spiritual food to sustain his spirit, Adam's flesh, expired. Adam was not a spirit-being. He was a physical being, sustained by the incorruptible "ruach" (breath/spirit of God), living in him. By subjecting himself to the serpent, he was no longer permitted free access to God's spirit.

At John 3:12, Jesus told Nicodemus; ""If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?"
So we see that when the tree of life offered the spirit in Adam, food for continued eternal life... Adam could be shown "heavenly things", without actually going to heaven [as if heaven were a physical place (it is not)]. By "opening" to us, spiritual understanding of the water of life (Luke 24:45), we are given access to heaven *through those who are OF heaven* (Heb.12:22,23; Eph.2:6; Luke 10:20)... the members of New Jerusalem (Rev.21:9,10; 22:17), the Temple abode of God's spirit among mankind 
(Rev.21:2,3;  1Cor.3:16;  1Pet.2:5,9; Eph.2:20,21,22).
The fruit of a tree of life, is sourced in heavenly waters. The water inside it is from the river of the water of life, in heaven. The fruit containing that water, is offered on earth (Rev.22:1,2; Matt.7:20).
Jesus could tell "heavenly things" (spiritual mysteries of God) because he learned from God/heaven, as do God's true prophets and trees of life (Matt.3:16; John 6:51; 12:49; 13:20; Rev.22:16).
You will see from Matt.3:16 that heaven opened for Jesus, and he received the spirit of God, seen as a descending dove. Both things were symbolic, and it was not necessary for Jesus to leave the earth, in order to have heaven open for him.

In vision, the apostle John also had heaven opened to him, by being invited up into that higher perspective (Rev.4:1).  This also occurs for the "two witnesses" (Rev.11:3,11,12; 10:7).
Take note, the stated purpose of that "opening" (as a door). It is to be "shown" the knowledge of God (Rev.4:1; Luke 24:32,45) (river of life -John 17:3; 4:10; Rev.22:1,2; Matt.7:20).

After the "two witnesses" prove faithful, we are told that they too, were invited to view the insight of heaven (Rev.11:12). When the "two witnesses" have that door of understanding opened (Rev.11:12; Luke 24:45), we are told that they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies observed it.
Is that literal and physical?
No.
They too are given insight (Rev.2:7,17; Luke 12:37; Rev.3:20). Spirit from God enters into them (Rev.11:11). They are fed spiritual food and drink by God, through the Tree of Life, Christ. Heaven's waters are open to them, through Christ 
(John 4:10; 10:9; Rev.3:20; Luke 24:45)(John 14:6; Matt.7:7,8; Prov.2:3,4,5; John 14:6;  2Cor.4:6).
They are "caught up into a cloud", because they are then found worthy to join the other faithful anointed witnesses of heaven (Heb.12:1,22,23; Eph.2:6; Rom.8:9)...and that becomes recognized by their enemies (Rev.11:12; 3:9; Isa.60:14; Zeph.3:19; Isa.65:13).
So in trying to be more straightforward...
Adam was living spiritually, by God's spirit inside him. That spirit was kept alive, by the spiritual food provided by the tree of life. Just as we must continue to take in physical food in order to continue to live... we must continue to take in spiritual food from the trees of life (Christ and Abraham's spiritual seed) in order to live eternally by the spirit of God.
The *spiritual* death of Adam, affected his physical existence, because he was "also flesh" (Ps.104:29; Gen.6:3). His life was physical... maintained by the spiritual breath/spirit of God put in him (Gen.2:7; Rom.8:11). (see Gen.3:22,23,24; Eph.4:18; 2:12). --- So... Adam living by spirit, does not mean that he physically, goes up into heaven. Heaven is a spiritual state of being, not a physical place.
To have access to heaven (as the faithful anointed trees of life and "two witnesses" now do), is not physical. It is to have the door of understanding opened and to be shown heavenly things and given the ability to perceive them. 
Adam had that, through the tree of life. Adam was not made into the new creation of flesh and spirit. His physical life was maintained, by the spirit. Do you see the difference?
The same difference exists, between the Bride of Christ...
        [new creation of being born as heavenly spirit that can also be flesh],
...in contrast to her children... [born again by spirit, to have spirit life in them, to keep their flesh alive, maintained by the spiritual food from the trees of life which are their spiritual parents (Isa.9:6; Gal.4:26)].
One can live by means of spirit and have a spirit-based life (maintained by spiritual food), without being A spirit/theos/god, who provides such food

Both sort belong to God's restored creation... the "new heavens" and the "new earth".
2Pet.3 reads; "13 But based on His promise, we wait for the new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness will dwell."
Note that Rev.21:1 reads; "Then I saw ‘a new heaven and a new earth,’ for the first heaven and the first earth had pas
sed away, and there was no longer any sea."
Isa.57:20-21 reads; "20 But the wicked are like the tossing sea,
which cannot rest,
whose waves cast up mire and mud.
21 ‘There is no peace,’ says my God, ‘for the wicked.’"

Ps.37: "10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
though you look for them, they will not be found.
11 But the meek will inherit the land
and enjoy peace and prosperity.
29 The righteous will inherit the land
and dwell in it for ever
."

So, those who comprise the wicked sea, will be no more.
Those meek who comprise the righteous "earth" will live in it forever.
  Just as Adam was told regarding the original creation, "Multiply and fill the earth and subdue it" (Gen.1:28)... the last/second Adam (1Cor.15:45,47) is given dominion over the New Creation. 
He will accomplish what Adam failed to do when Adam handed the first creation over to the dominion of Satan (Luke 4:5,6;  1John 5:19). 
Jesus does succeed in subduing the earth (Ps.47:3; Ps.110:1,2;  1Cor.15:25; Phil.3:20,21; Rom.16:20; Rev.3:9), and filling it with the righteous children of the new, spiritual parental progenitors of life.
Those who comprise the "heavens", will serve God and mankind, forever (Rev.22:2,3; 3:12)... removing the curse of sin and death for those who receive the healing fruit and leaves (Rev.22:2; Gen.22:18; Gal.3:29; Heb.10:17).
The role of anointed kings and priests (Rev.5:9,10), are to serve God's people (Rev.21 and Rev.22).
