The ArchAngel

QUESTION:
Hi Pearl,
Is it really important that Jesus was Michael ? I really don't have any scriptures that say he is or isn't & so far witnesses don't either. Just a summation or a could be..check out Hebrews 1..I know you know this one, so that's the only one I can point you to. The Son Exalted Above Angels

When I read that scripture that's when I began to question. The witnesses have a lot of truth & over the years things have changed..& that is a good thing. In our examining the scriptures there was a text of the day that referred to Michael but never once pointed that he was Jesus, could the light be getting brighter....If we continue to email each other I will paste & copy it for you, but most likely you may have read it...Hope we speak again....

The reason why it is important to understand these details...
When God says that "I have begotten you"...this is unique.
Even the other anointed ones, are not begotten by God.
True, there is
1Peter1:22
"Now that YOU have purified YOUR souls by [YOUR] obedience to the truth with unhypocritical brotherly affection as the result, love one another intensely from the heart. 23 For YOU have been given a new birth, not by corruptible, but by incorruptible [reproductive] seed, through the word of [the] living and enduring God."
This was a promise given by the word of God, which never fails.
That incorruptible "seed" is Christ. The anointed Christian grows according to this "model" (1Pet.2:21) until they grow to the full stature of Christ (Eph.4:13).
My point, is that the 144000 receive spirit life...not from God directly, but from Christ. He is the basis of their glorification, through the forgiveness of sins.
The way they become Sons of God, is through adoption after their resurrection...not through being directly "begotten" by God.
Jesus is the only-begotten Son of God (John3:16).

The scriptures you cite in Hebrews, do not indicate that Jesus was not Michael...
They indicate that of all the anointed angels...only Jesus was directly begotten by God.

This is why Heb.1:6 says that all those angels will serve and worship Jesus. He is the King of those kings. (see John1:51; Gen.28:12; Dan.7:13; Rev.22:3,4). He is the Archangel (Jude 1:9).

-- Remembering that the word "angel" is derived from the Greek "angelos", which simply means "Messenger", we can see how the Logos/Word who became Jesus Christ, would be God's foremost messenger, above all other messengers.
  Rev.12:7 tells us that Michael and his angels, battle with Satan and his angels. This simply conveys that the battle is between the messengers of truth and the messengers of demonic deception, as well as the leaders of each of those groups. When we look at Rev.16:13-16; 13:11 and compare it to Rev.17:14; 19:11,14; Eph.2:6 it is clarified for us, who the messengers are of each leader, on each side.



When God's Kingdom arrives...all 144000 will serve under Jesus. He is the one that paid the price for their thrones (Rev.5:9,10). He will oversee their kingdom work.
And perhaps you also noticed at Heb.1:6...these firstborn ones (Rev.14:4; Heb.12:22,23) will come back into the earth during the kingdom.  (Rev 3: 12) (Rev 21: 2, 9, 10) (Galatians 4:26, 31)

Again, unless you clearly see that these "angels" are the 144000, you will still think that these scriptures support divorcing the identities of Jesus and Michael.
He is not talking of angels who were born as spirits in heaven. He is referring to those partners of Christ (See Heb.1:9). Notice in that verse, that they are "anointed" with the "oil of exultation" just like Jesus, but less so. These are not heavenly-born angels. Those do not get anointed. These "angels" are Abraham's seed (see Heb.2:16; Gal.3:29).

So again I tell you...
The angels that Jesus is exalted above, are the 144000. Among these, only Jesus was directly begotten by God. The rest are adopted after they get spirit life from Jesus (Rom.8:23) who is their spirit father first (Rev.14:4; Psalm 45:16; Isa.9:6). ("Firstfruits...to the Lamb"; "your sons"; "eternal father" 2Thess.2:13,14).

The scripture you are citing does not mean what you presume...neither does it clarify the subject of Jesus being or not being Michael.

Since Satan now dominates the Organization, I would not expect brighter lamps from the anointed leaders above it (Matt.25:8).

I think it may help you tremendously to reflect upon the situation God's people are in, at the time of the appearance of "Michael".

Do you remember that "all the earth" turn to worshiping the wild beast and it's image (Rev.13:8)?
Apparently, they feel that this is more worthy of worship than God.
Remember what distinguishes the faithful from the rest?
They are busy declaring...
 "And they keep on crying with a loud voice, saying: “Salvation [we owe] to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.” Rev.7:10 (see Rev.14:7)

So then, what is the central issue in the time of the end?

The central issue at the end (which means the difference between life and death)...
is the recognition, appreciation, acknowledgement, and devotion to God as the only one worthy of worship, glory, and credit for salvation.
The threat to that is a pervasive Idolatry.

So then, in that climate...what role do you think Jesus ("the faithful witness" Rev.1:5) would take?
Would he not be active in establishing the truth, that there is no one like God?...not the wild beast, not the false prophet, not the Great Harlot, not the dragon, not the locust-scorpions, not the Image....
NONE of them, compares to YHVH.

Would that not be the message that he and his "angels" are battling over,
against all those agents of worship for Satan?
Small wonder that the role of the end-time Jesus is named "Michael"... which means "Who is like God?"

Michael / "Clouds" of Heaven

QUESTION: Hi Pearl,
Thx for replying...that was a mouthful...I am going to reply to your other statements but this scripture was the one that really stood out to me re: Michael....

Luke 2:21 Now when eight days came to the full for circumcising him, his name was also called Jesus,

 the name called by the angel before he was conceived in the womb. Many woman name their child while the child is in the womb or even before she is pregnant...so we see he was named Jesus even before he was conceived in the womb.
I think even in Revelation it is written that Jesus came with his angels..or even in Hebrews where it states to which angel did he (Jah) ever say you are my son.
& One I do remember is that the bible also states the Michael is ONE OF THE CHIEF PRINCES..one of..are there other chief princes.

Many witnesses say there is no proof in the bible of the Trinity, well neither is there any proof that Michael is Jesus. Jesus is the son of God. You can piece together all the proof but just like the trinity one can piece together proof as well. & really at the end of the day, does it really matter ?

 I am very clear about the witnesses. I knew they were regular folks before they came there & did not walk on water but at the same time when I say that I think they are a little offended because they do feel they are different ( & just a little imperfect,not alot) but imperfection is imperfection...like murder (sorry to give such a bad example) at the end of it..the person is dead, but with murder it still is murder, just a matter of degree.
I like them just the way they are even with imperfections, because I have imperfections as well. I think what puzzles me is that witnesses are on this site & always told how we shouldn't be on the internet only the Witness official website.
I'm not baptized as of yet & I found this web-site where I could ask questions because I started to see the org. interpretation didn't line up with the bible. So I thought maybe Satan is trying to mess with my head, but when I started to talk to a few experts I started seeing that I was not crazy. I find they run ahead of the scriptures & fill in the gaps with their own doctrine. They have alot of the truth but not all.

Why do they talk about other places of worship, it's not good to be like that, as the kids say today.."Stay in your Lane"..even if others do talk about them, do not follow their lead. The Faithful Discreet slave...a parable...which is the foundation of the org. to me it means...Just be ready when Jesus comes back. Get your house & faith in order. I hope you are doing well and not sure how you feel about Disfellowshipped...you can leave the org, but don't leave Jah, he is not only in the hall, he is with you anytime..just open your bible & there he is to give us comfort. Jesus name was known before his birth, but this name was assigned him as the "Son of Man". It was his name in the flesh. It means, "Jehovah is salvation". This is because his role as human man, was salvation. This assigned name was given to Joseph, just when Mary conceived (Matt.1:20,21). In this way, Jesus' name was known before his birth. This does not mean that the spirit being Christ was before coming to earth as a man, was also Jesus.

Before he was born as a man, his name was not Jesus...it was the Logos/Word (John 1:1,14).

His name after resurrection, only he himself knows. (Rev.19:12). This is because no name of the human tongue can encompass all the authority, power, and glory Jesus has been given as slave of God in a new capacity (Phil.2:9; Rev.3:12). Jesus is given, a "new name" for Armageddon.

This is also true of the sealed 144000 (Rev.2:17). These also no longer have the name that identified them in the flesh, but reflects their accomplishments (Rev.3:4; 12:11; 20:4; 14:5; 19:8), servitude (Rev.22:3,4; 5:10), and approval before God (1Cor.11:19;  2Tim.2:15;  1Thess.2:4). The new name also reflects their new assignment.
Yet there is one fact we can be sure of. Jesus Christ received a "new name" (Rev.3:12). What is that "new name"?
All of Christ's names, had to do with his divine assignment.
His new name is no different.
His new assignment is shared by his faithful (Rev.3:12; 19:11,14).
This new name and assignment is understood, when we see what Jesus tells us about the events in Revelation. In summary; glory, honor, and worship is being given to an idolatrous image. Even the Holy Ones have been conquered by it (Rev.13:7; 17:12-13; Dan.8:11-12,13) so that their service to God has halted.
So then...
What divine assignment is needed to be performed by the glorified Christ, to transfer the glory, honor, and worship, back to the God who deserves it? (Rev.14:7; 4:11) What new name would reflect that new assignment?
Obviously, any chosen one who is worshiping the image of the Beast, has forgotten that there is no idol in existence that can compare to the True God. How can Christ remind God's called ones, that no one is like God?
The name Michael, means, "Who is like God?"
The faithful messengers of truth who battle with Michael against this deceptive machination of Satan (worship of the image of the Beast as possessing divinity from God), have the same assignment (Christ's new name, also written on them.). These also work to restore worship to God, by the heralding messages and warnings they declare. These messengers ("angels") who have Christs NEW name also written on them, battle alongside "Michael" (Rev.17:14; 19:11,14; 12:7) and conquer Satan as a result (Rev.12:7-8,10,11)

Armageddon is a battle between agents/messengers/angels, of Satanic deception and agents/messengers/angels, of the Faithful and True Witness, Christ.
The truth, is that the Beast's image does not deserve God's priests to give over their praise and worship to it (Rev.2:12,14,16). The false prophet and Beast, battle against that truth. They kill any who do not worship it (Rev.13:15,8)

Yes...Michael is "one of the chief princes" (Heb.1:8-9; Psalm 45:7).
There are a symbolic seven others (Micah 5:4-5,6,13,15; Ps.110:5,2-3; Rev.8:6)
This actually helps to establish Michael as Jesus.
How?
Jesus is the "Prince of Peace" Isa.9:6, but he is not alone in this role. "Jerusalem" means, "foundation of Peace". The entire Holy City of "New Jerusalem" are made up of 144000 princes of peace (Psalm 45:16).
He is the foremost one...just as he is the King "of kings" and Lord "of lords".
He is "foremost" among his brothers/partner heirs (Ps.45:7;  2Tim.2:12).
Yet all these sealed and glorified brothers of Christ, are "foremost" in comparison to Satan's worldly rulers. These co-heirs of God's Kingdom, will have no end to their kingdom 
(Dan.2:44; Rev.3:21; 2:26; 17:14).

The angels in the spirit realm, born as spirit sons of God, are not princes at all.

Satan and his minions have taken worldly power (1John 5:19). This is unrighteous...and they will soon lose it to God's Kingdom.
God has reserved princely dominion of the earth for Abraham's seed....for these foremost princes, kings, and lords...even among which, Jesus is foremost.

While there are a number of scriptures which can be used to construct the Trinity doctrine, there are very many scriptures against it.
The Truth is identified as that which the Bible teaches, and which no scriptures contradict.

The Holy Angels that accompany Jesus at his return, are the sealed glorified anointed witnesses ("He is coming on the clouds of heaven" Heb.12:1; Jude 1:14;  2Thess.1:7,10). These angels are the ones who battle with Satan and are at enmity with Satan's seed (Rev.12:7; Gen.3:15; Gal.4:24,26). Genesis reveals that those who battle Satan and his seed/angels, are the seed of the "woman". The angels born in heaven are not in the New Covenant/Woman, nor do they battle for supremacy of our planet. The heavenly born angels, are not the angels/messengers, being talked about in Hebrews (Heb.1:7,9,14; 2:5,16). Hebrews is speaking of Jesus' angels/messengers...Abraham's seed.

Yes, Jesus is unique in Jehovah declaring Jesus as God's only-begotten son. This is especially so, since he is the firstborn...both in all creation as well as from the dead. All things have been made subject to Jesus alone, with the exception of the Father (1Cor.15:27). Of all the anointed "angels"/messengers, Jesus alone is the high priest.

Source of Truth / "Michael" / Serving Men

I have been on this site for sometime now & just noticed you have changed your profile.
I study with the witnesses.  They are nice folks or at least most of the ones I know...I have heard some stories about how some are not so nice. I have been talking to many of the experts on this site, the witnesses & the non-witnesses.
Has something happened with you to change your profile? I agree, not agreeing with man's interpretation isn't apostacy, but just a matter of how one sees it.. the witnesses have alot of the truth but some stuff are just burdens. They say that Jah's ways are not burdensome & they are not, but it seems they load us down with more & more books & literature...so even if Jah isn't burdensome but man is...
even the bible says there will be many books about faith but we'll never get to read all of them.

I love the learning part & the going out in service & the friends, but my stumbler is Michael the Archangel being Jesus, that's a hard one for me to swallow. I have read all the scriptures that the witnesses say support it but I've read other scriptures for myself which do not support it.

I feel they worship the org. more than Jah/Jesus. I know for many the org. is like mommy & mommy can't be wrong & if she is...we'll never say it. I wonder if other folks/witnesses see things that don't line up but just don't say nothing..I hope you are well...& hope to hear from you.

Hello Dany,
Thanks for writing me. You may not have read my profile before last month. It changed in April. That was when I was disfellowshipped. Previous to that, I was "registered" as a "Witness" since 1975.
Of course, it is Yhvh who gets to say who his witnesses are. He does so, at Isa.43:10,21 (1Pet.2:9). There it makes clear, that they are "chosen" priests. So the group who are known as "Jehovah's Witnesses", actually have no right to the claim. In taking this name for themselves, they are thieves before Yhvh (Rev.9:20,21), along with their other spiritual offenses.

There is a good reason why the "Witnesses" have a lot of Truth, but it is not why you would expect.
At 2Cor.11:12-15 we read:

 "Now what I am doing I will still do, that I may cut off the pretext from those who are wanting a pretext for being found equal to us in the office of which they boast. 13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light. 15 It is therefore nothing great if his ministers also keep transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness. But their end shall be according to their works."

Clearly we see that one of Satan's powerful tools is masquerading lies as Truth (Gen.3:4,5; Rev.13:11). He does it because it is very efficient (2Cor.11:3).
Why Truth?
Because this is the perfect bait for his target...the chosen ones .
Why does he aim to deceive these ones?
Because they are the only humans who present a real threat to him losing his world dominion.

As these become sealed, his power slips away and his end draws near (Rev.12:4,13,15,17),when the full number of these is achieved (Eph.1:10; Rev.7:4; 12:10,11). He is doing all he can to prevent and forestall this (Eph.6:11,18; Rev.3:6,11). Therefore, his target are the anointed (Eph.6:12; Rev.12:17; Luke22:31).

The Organized religion of "Jehovah's Witnesses" is Satan's greatest snare of deception against these ones (2Thess.2:4,8,9; Rev.13:4,8,14,15,16)...By accepting this Organizational god, they become marked as slaves of IT (Rev.13:16 b), rather than of Yhvh (Rev.14:1). The result, is the worship of Satan (Rev.13:4 a)

This is the interpretive message of the book of Revelation (Rev.1:1,3). Those in the Organization are burdened down with so much controlled literature and structured study programs, so that they are prevented from exploring the actual Bible or sayings of other anointed slaves of Christ (2Tim.3:7; Rev.13:17; Isa.55:1,2; Rev.3:18; 16:13; 1Tim.4:1; 2Tim.4:3). This prevents the sheep from doing an analysis of the Elected Ones, to see which is faithful and which is wicked, just as the scriptures advise the sheep to do (1John4:1; Matt.7:15,16,17,20; 1Tim.4:1; Rev.16:13). This restrictive tactic is working (2Thess.2:4,9,10,11,12). Yhvh is allowing it, because it proves the loyalty of each one who professes to follow His Word above all else (Luke 21:36; Psalm 119:97; John17:17) from those who don't.

I do not begrudge you the enjoyment of the association and activities one has access to while a member; but you may want to consider that those who survive the end so close at hand,
are not those enjoying this illusion of peace and security (1Thess.5:3; Ezek.13:2,10; Matt.10:32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39),
but rather, those who are the few (Matt.7:14) who put integrity first (Matt.24:13), despite the pains and loss incurred (Psalm15:2,4 b; Rev.12:11; 6:11; Phil.3:8). These are the ones to enjoy the peace and security to come. (Heb.13:14; John16:33; Acts14:22; 1Tim.6:19)

I am curious about what the scriptures are which you feel indicate that "Michael" is not one of the many manifestations and roles of Jesus Christ.
The Bible is where I derive my understanding of Revelation, within which, "Michael" is mentioned.
Here are the scriptural thoughts I consider relevant.....

"Archangel" by definition means a single, superior, and original angel...a prototype (Col.1:15,16; 1Pet.5:4).

"Michael" is referred to as the archangel (Jude1:9). The "commanding call" of Christ, to gather his faithful anointed, is with this voice (Rev.1:10,12,13; 1Thess.4:16; Joel 2:11; Rev.19:11,14,8).
We are told that "Michael" had words with Satan (Jude 1:9).
The Bible itself tells us that this confrontation happened between Satan and "the Lord" (who is also spokesman for the Lord God) (Zech.3:2-9,8,2; John15:6,5; Isa.65:8-9).

Recall what Jesus said at Rev.3:12.
Do you see that within Revelation, Jesus has received another "new name"?
According to the Bible's established tradition; names reflect the nature and assignment of a person.
When a person's nature or divine assignment changes or expands, so does their God assigned name (Gen.17:5; 35:10; John1:41-- Matt.16:17,18).
When it comes to the person of Jesus Christ, he is assigned many roles and assignments to suit his wondrous capacity, various responsibilities, and divine nature
(Isa.9:6; Luke1:31,32,33; Matt.1:21,23; John1:1,14,29; Rev.19:11,16).
Remembering that the book of Revelation is symbolic, we must use discernment to grasp all that is meant by God assigning Jesus Christ a "new name" and the new capacity and work that new name reflects.
Why does Jesus require yet another name/assignment, during Revelation's fulfillment?

Jesus repeatedly referred to this period as the greatest time of spiritual peril and test, and he warned his brothers accordingly (Matt.24:4,5,24,25, 21,22).

"Sitting" and "standing" are symbols of spiritual activity.

The only one appointed to care for the body of Christ, is

His faithful chosen sheep only listen to, and follow him (John10:27,28,29,4). They would not follow someone else's voice (John10:5).
They would only respond to the Archangel's voice, if it were Christ himself (John10:27; 1Thess4:16-17; Matt.24:31).
No one else has earned this dominion and capacity over Christ's Bride (Heb.3:1).
When his "bride" is endangered (Rev.13:7; 11:2; 1Cor.3:16), He alone has the authority to respond.
"Michael" "stands up" on behalf of the Holy Ones and delivers them (John17:12; Dan.12:1; Jer.30:7; 23:3; Acts 3:20,22; Rom.7:25; 2Tim.4:18).
Are we to believe that Christ has abandoned his sheep, and sent someone else to care for them?

Also consider, that Revelation and all Christ's teachings make clear (as well as prophecy -- Gen.3:15),
that the battle over creation's dominion is between Satan and Christ (Rev.16:13-14; 17:14; 19:11,14; 12:10-11; 12:7; 2Cor.10:3-5), and each of their "seed"/messengers ("angels"), born through and by means of women covenants (Gal.4:24,26; Rev.17:5; Isa.28:15). It is God Himself whose justice has determined the forces at war under this enmity (Gen.3:15; Rev.12:17; 20:7-9; Luke21:20,24; Rev.13:10; Col.2:8; Rev.13:7; Dan.12:1; John17:12). The dominion of the creation is fought by those involved, according to God's own justice of how this must be settled.
If Rev.12:7 depicts Michael and his angels battling with Satan and his angels (Gen.3:15), than all these entities are directly involved in the issues depicted in Revelation's parables.
Revelation repeats the same scenarios repeatedly, by means of various illustrations. Each illustration adds further understanding and additional details;
in order to draw those blessed with Holy Spirit, into a full understanding.

Michael's battle with Satan is only one illustration of many battle parables, depicting the war between Satan and Christ, and each of their "seed"/messengers/ "angels"/agents.
A great help to understanding the identity of "Michael", is first understanding who his "angel" messengers are.
Who are "seed"/messengers/"angels" of Satan?
Who are "seed"/messengers/"angels", of Christ?
What does this have to do with Gen.3:15?
If we accept the Bible's definition of these messengers, we will not view things physically or superficially.
Are the sealed anointed viewed as heavenly angels/messengers of Christ?
Are the messengers of Satan's deceptive doctrines his "seed"/angels/messengers?
Is there a battle between these wheat and weeds?
Is this a battle that Jesus Christ leads ahead of his faithful brothers?
Who is the heavenly army riding behind Christ?

Why would Jesus Christ's new name be "Michael"?
What does that name have to do with a battle with Satan?

Michael is said to be a "foremost prince" (Dan.10:13,21 --the "only supporter") and commander of God's heavenly army (Joshua 5:13,14,15; Rev.12:7). Ps.89:27
Who are the other princes among which Michael is foremost? (Ps.45:16; Eph.2:20; Rev.21:14; Luke22:30)

The bearer and "messenger" ("angel") of God's "sword", is the "Word"/Jesus Christ (Joshua 5:13,14; Num.22:23; 31:16; Rev.2:14; 19:15,13; John1:1,14)

Your last comment about observing that the Witnesses now worship the Organization more than Yhvh, is true, and actually makes sense....

If you think about it, what would Satan do if he did infiltrate and hijack God's people?
Some feel this is not possible. These do not remember the long history of God's own people...and how they were always turning from Him (Psalm 95:6,7,8,9,10,11; Exo.33:5; Heb.3:10; 12:25; 10:26,27). Not only did he allow free will back then; it is prophesied that this apostasy does occur in the time of the end as well (2Thess.2:2,3,8; Matt.24:5,11,15,24,33). It must occur, in order to segregate the sealed anointed from those unfit, in this end of the harvest (Rev.7:3; 9:4,14; 14:14; Matt.3:12).

 Once in control, would not Satan transfer the worship from the True God, to his own agents? "Witnesses" have long taught that when the Nations adore the powers of this world, they are adoring the god of this system of things, Satan.
All their sacrifices which they give to any other identity, they give to the demons, and not to God (1Cor.10:20,21,22,14,15). As far as Yhvh is concerned, the "Organization" IS NOT YHVH. (Isa.40:25; 42:8) (Rev.13:7-8)
This idolatry was prophesied as "the operation of error" (2Thess.2:11,12), the "apostasy" at the end (2Thess.2:3), and "the disgusting this standing in a holy place" (Matt.24:15) in the time of the "conclusion of the system of things" (Matt.24:3).

I myself have also heard and seen how the "Organization" is worshiped as a "mother goddess". In truth, this "mother" is a Great Harlot.
This is part of the end time idolatry of the Organization, as the "Image" (Rev.13:14,15).

"Witnesses" hypocritically joke about the Madonna worship of Mary, while they defer the exclusive devotion due Yhvh God, to a mere creation of men (Rom.1:25), whose glory they prefer (John12:43; 5:44).
Yhvh's standard for worship..."Spirit and Truth" (John4:24) has been displaced with
"the Society's doctrines.... Right OR Wrong"... to be accepted and obeyed under threat of spiritual death! (Rev.13:15; John16:2; Mark 13:8; Rev.6:9-11)

In prophecy, we are told that those who are "sighing and groaning" over all these detestable things (being done in the midst of "Jerusalem") Ezek.9:4, will be marked for survival.
Those who "like it that way" (Jer.5:30,31) are on the line to God's Winepress of wrath,
for their idolatry in Yhvh's name (Rev.14:18,19; Jer.25:29,30; Rev.13:1,5-8; 2Thess.2:4).
Rightly...for those not blessed with sobriety, a condition of spiritual blindness and deafness will prevent their waking up to Yhvh's requirements for life (Isa.42:18,19,20,23; Matt.24:37,39).

Those requirements include worshiping with Spirit and Truth, regardless of the slim number doing so with you;
and loving Yhvh your God with all that you are (Mark12:29,30),

" Michael "

A QUESTION:
If it is true that ‘Michael’ is Jesus’ new name (the covenant new name) given after he conquered and his approval by God ; and if it is also true that it was kept secret until then, why is this name (Michael) revealed in identifying the angelic prince that came to the aid of the angel watching over Daniel (Daniel 10:13)?

What do you mean by, "the covenant new name"?
Do you have scriptures which direct that Christ's new name is given in association to an inaugeration of a covenant?
God's covenant with Christ for a kingdom (Luke22:29), has no direct bearing on the timing of his receiving the "new name", because he was a king, and Lord of the Sabbath Day ("Thousand Years"), as the man, Jesus Christ (Matt.21:4,5,10,11; 12:8; John18:37) (Deut.5:12; 2Pet.3:8; Matt.12:8; Rev.20:6; Heb.4:9). 
"Michael's" (meaning "Who is like God?") role is for warfare, and is against those who ask, "Who is like the Beast?" (Rev.13:4).
Jesus' "new name" is not about Christ's "conquering and receiving approval by God". 
He already did both, in the first century (John16:33; 1John5:4; Matt.3:17; 17:5; Isa.42:1).

Michael's name, is about his battling the authority of the Beast, which has replaced him as head of the anointed congregation (2Thess.2:4; Rev.13:7; Dan.8:11,25; 11:36) (Acts3:20,21; 2Thess.1:6-10; Dan.12:1). He must stand up against the demon inspired expressions which extol the Beast as worthy of worship (Rev.16:13-16; 13:15,8; 1Tim.4:1), when that Beast and it's image/idol, take a stand against the Prince of princes and "tramples" his fellow Kingdom heirs, God's Temple (Dan.8:11,24,25; 11:31,36; 2Thess.2:4; Rev.13:7,10; 11:2) (http://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2015/05/salt.html). 

"Michael" must re-establish God's sovereignty and His Kingdom purpose... His Temple, and Holy City, as supreme.

When you say that Christ's new name is kept secret until then, it sounds as if you are assuming that this name is merely made audible to all, when revealed. 
But these things are not physical, but spiritual.
Unless Christ shows himself to us (John14:21; Rev.2:7,17,28), by giving us who he is (John14:6)...
         the hidden manna (John6:49,48,50)... 
         the morning star 
         (Rev.22:16; 2:28; 2Pet.1:19; 1John3:2; Rom.8:9)... 
         and the tree of life (Rev.2:7; John6:63) 
         [Our teaching words are our "fruit" (Luke6:43,45)]
we will not see or hear, even after others do understand (Rev.3:7,8; 4:1; Luke24:45).

Only those to whom Christ's new name is also given, come to know it (Rev.3:12; 2:17).

To have one's name "revealed" is to have it understood, not just physically heard.
The full meaning of Michael's name (and why it would become necessary), was NOT revealed in the time of Daniel.
All the things that Daniel was shown, were sealed up until the time of the end (Dan.12:4),
which is why the last book of the Bible, is called "Revelation". It's unveiling occurs when the spirit of truth arrives, to reveal the final sacred secrets of God, through God's prophetic messenger (John16:13; Rev.1:1; 22:6,16).

However, Michael IS mentioned in the book of Daniel. You cite, Dan.10:13.
If you simply look at the context, you will learn that Daniel was experiencing a prophetic vision...
Dan.10:
5 I lifted my eyes and looked, and behold, there was a certain man dressed in linen, whose waist was girded with a belt of pure gold of Uphaz. 6 His body also was like beryl, his face had the appearance of lightning, his eyes were like flaming torches, his arms and feet like the gleam of polished bronze, and the sound of his words like the sound of a tumult. 7 Now I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, while the men who were with me did not see the vision; nevertheless, a great dread fell on them, and they ran away to hide themselves. 8 So I was left alone and saw this great vision; yet no strength was left in me, for my natural color turned to a deathly pallor, and I retained no strength. 9 But I heard the sound of his words; and as soon as I heard the sound of his words, I fell into a deep sleep on my face, with my face to the ground.

We may assume that some of the vision and it's meaning is about the latter days, and some of the vision and it's meaning only occurred in Daniel's day. This is not so.
When are God's angels restrained from providing understanding about the time of the end?
When is Daniel (along with Abraham, Issac and Jacob) 
given understanding into the things all the prophets desired to understand? 
(1Pet.1:10; Matt.13:17; Heb.11:13; Luke13:28,29) (Dan.12:4,9; Rev.5:2,5; John15:15; Rev.1:1; 22:6,16)
Who is the angel sent by Christ to reveal these things to Daniel, and to us, 
at the Table in the kingdom of God, served at the great supper of the Lamb and his Bride?
Can you even consider that the angel in vision, speaking with Daniel, is the one sent to provide understanding of future events, and is the same angel of Rev.1:1 and Rev.22:6?

To illustrate how an ancient Bible character can see and speak of things in the present,
and yet those things are far in the future, please consider Ps.110:1
"Of David. A psalm. The LORD says to my lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."
David speaks of God speaking to David's lord, who I assume you agree is referring to Christ (who was not yet born as a king). When did Jesus begin to sit at the right hand of God to share God's throne, and initiate the subjugating of his enemies?

"You have said so," Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven." (Matt.26:64) (Heb.12:1; Jude1:14)
"To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne." (Rev.3:21)
"The LORD will stretch forth Your strong (iron) scepter from Zion, saying, "Rule in the midst of Your enemies." (Ps.110:2) (Rev.2:26,27; 12:5; Eph.2:6)
"I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." (Luke10:19)

Although David speaks of some thing he presently sees, it is for a future time.
When we are in vision and we hear and see things due to the education by God's spirit,
nothing should be taken literally. Such things are eventually understood when Jesus "opens that no one can shut". Literal timing has nothing to do with such lessons.
If you are open to learning more about the mounting scriptural evidence which connects "Michael" to the returned Christ; I believe you will discern a growning connection between them, until they eclipse.
Gen.3:15 makes clear who rightfully battles, at Rev.12:7.

who these chief princes are, and who all the princes are, among whom there are chief princes.
Accordingly, I will answer your question in three parts.
1. Who are all the "princes"?
2. Who are the "chief princes" among all these princes?
3. Who is The "Great Prince" ("arch-angel") mentioned at Dan.12:1?

I will limit my reply to the princes of God's covenant woman, and not include the princes of Satan's covenant of death

The princes under the Great "guardian" Prince/Rescuer, (Dan.12:1; Isa.49:24-25; Matt.12:29; Rev.20:1-2; Luke10:19), who is Christ,
     (Isa.9:6; Dan.9:25; 12:1; John17:12; 6:39; 10:28; Matt.28:20),
are the kings under the great king (Rev.19:16; 1:5; 5:9,10; Eph.1:22; Col.1:13).

They are also considered by God, Christ's sons, because by means of Christ, they receive spirit life (John10:10; 20:22; 6:63; 5:21; 17:2; Rom.8:9,10,11,13; 1John4:9,13; 5:11-12; 2:25; John3:6,15,36; 6:47,48,51,57,63; 10:28; Heb.5:9). "But", you may protest, "don't we all become 'sons of God'?". Yes. But there is more to it.---

Within the Bible, forefathers are multiple. This tradition is a cultural difference from most modern day societies. 
Please let me explain...
Within the Bible, living faithful can have more than one father... both God and Christ (Isa.9:6).  Christ received his life from God first, before he can pass that incorruptible seed to those after him (1Pet.1:23; Luke8:11; John12:49; 6:63; James1:21).
"Grandfather" is not in the Bible's language. This is why Abraham, David, Jacob, etc., are considered "fathers" of many subsequent generations. 
All the generations of their descendants, have all of these as "fathers"
(Zech.1:2,4-6; Acts3:13; 7:19; John8:39; Ex.3:6; Luke1:32; Matt.1:1), regardless of how many generations may come and go in between.

Accordingly, we should not limit the spiritual lineage of those born of spirit, to either God or Christ as "father". Such ones are sons of both. You may have noticed that within the scriptures, our spiritual fathers are the ones whom we imitate (John8:39,44; Eph.5:1; 1Pet.1:16; Matt.5:44,45,48).  We can therefore, also be sons of Christ (1Pet.2:21) and of the sealed faithful (1Cor.11:1; 4:15,14,16,17; 1John2:13,14; Philemon 1:10; Luke1:17; Phil.2:22; 3:17; 1Thess.2:11; 1:6) (Mal.4:5-6).

Hopefully, all these previous scriptures have helped to establish within your understanding, that whoever we imitate and do the will of, becomes our spiritual father (Eph.5:1; Matt.12:50; 7:21; 1John2:17; Rom.8:14) -- (Eph.2:2; John8:44). 
If you do grasp that imitating Christ (1Cor.11:1; 1Pet.2:21) can make us his son, it will then be easier to grasp who the "princes" are. 

First, lets look at Ps.45:16, which speaks of the dominion of Christ.

"In place of your fathers will be your sons;
You shall make them princes in all the earth."

In place of Christ's kingly forefathers (Luke1:32; Isa.9:7; Matt.12:42), will come his spiritual sons (Heb.2:1-9,14,13,16; Isa.8:18; John10:28,29; 6:37-39; 17:2; 1Pet.1:5; Matt.18:3; 19:14), with whom he shares his kingdom (Ps.132:12; 110:2; Rev.14:1; Jer.17:25; Eze.37:25; 34:24) (Heb.2:5,16; Rom.4:13; Gal.3:29; Gen.28:13,14; 13:14,15).
They become co-kings (2Tim.2:12; Rev.5:9,10; 20:6) and co-princes (Isa.10:8; 9:6; Acts3:15; 5:31; Isa.32:1,2).
As heirs of the earth, these will heal creation (Rom.8:19; Rev.22:1,2; 21:2-5; Jer.17:7,8; Matt.7:20; Eze.36:8), and also provide a "fatherly" example, that leads to life (1Cor.4:15-17; Phil.3:17; 4:9; 2Thess.3:9; 1Thess.1:6; 2Tim.3:14,15; Heb.13:7; 1Pet.5:3).

Addition to "Who are the Chief Princes?"

Many refute that Michael the archangel is an identity of Jesus Christ, in his capacity as protector of the saints 
(Dan.12:1; John 17:12; 6:39; 18:9; Rev.19:12) 
and defender of God's supremacy in the face of global idolatry (Rev.13:8,4) 
(The name "Michael" means, "Who is like God?").
Those who refute that role of the resurrected Jesus Christ, point to the fact that Jesus could not be a mere angel, even if being, an arch - angel. 
Those who make such an assertion, apparently do not know the meaning of the Greek word, angelos. It simply means "messenger" (John 12:49; 7:16). 
The Greek meaning of "arch", is defined as the original prototype, with no equal. To be the "archangel", is to be supreme among God's messengers.

The name "Michael" ("Who is like God?"), perfectly describes his battle tactic and purpose. The meaning of "Michael" indicates Christ's victorious strategy, as well as the identity of his warfare target, whose power in false doctrine, needs to be neutralized (Isa.40:25,18; 46:5) (Rev.13:4).

A "New Name"..."Michael". Why?

I have another question... 
The new name received which no one knows but the one receiving it. As Rev. 2:17, Isaiah 62:2, and Rev.3:12.... 
Is this new name to be given at the same time as when all the holy ones conquered? 
Another anointed one, says they have been given a new name and they have disclosed it to me. What do you think about that?

For this reason, I will divide it into three parts, to make both writing it, and reading it, more manageable.

Likely you learned at that site (http://topicalbible.org/n/name.htm), that a Bible name often reflects the traits of who a person is....the record that they have made with God, and their divine assignment. 
From your three cited scriptures, we learn many symbolic things about the "new name". This new name is associated with the New Covenant, the new creation, and those who sing the new song (2Cor.5:17; Rev.21:5; Eph.4:23-24;  1Cor.5:7; Col.3:10; Rev.14:3; Ps.40:3;  1Cor.14:15 -new understandings- Isa.43:19,18; 65:17; Rev.20:12; 10:8,7). These things are also associated with the new wine Christ promised the faithful (Mark 2:22; Matt.26:29; Rev.3:20).
It may help to make a list of the things we learn from your three cited scriptures.

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white pebble, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” (Rev.2:17)

"The Gentiles shall see your righteousness,
And all kings your glory.
You shall be called by a new name,
Which the mouth of the Lord will name." (Isa.62:2)

"He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name." (Rev.3:12)

What we learn:
1. "Overcoming" is required. The name is "written" on a "white" "pebble", 
      and only the receiver "knows" the "name". Receiving the new name 
      is accompanied by receiving "hidden manna".
2. God Himself will bestow this new name, through Christ.
3. "Overcoming" is again required. The new name reflects God, New Jerusalem, 
     and Jesus Christ's own new name (John 15:21; 17:12; Dan.12:1; Mark 13:13)
(On the basis of Christ's new name, his followers who also bear it, will be persecuted.)

A closer scriptural look at each of these points, opens up the meaning further.

"Overcoming"/"conquering"
   Revelation's depictions are rife with spiritual warfare (Rev.6:4,8; 16:14,16; 6:17; 8:6 (1Cor.14:8); Rev.9:4,7,9,15,16; 11:7; 12:7,17; 13:7,10,15; 17:14; 18:24; 19:11,14,19,21; 20:8,9). 
For a time, it is the unsealed Holy Ones who are conquered, trampled by Gentile Beast, and imprisoned (Rev.13:7; 11:2; Luke 21:24; Rev.13:10). They must reverse their circumstances, in order to "overcome" their enemies and become sealed.
For those who do this, the new name and all the blessings that come with it, await.
How do they overcome?
We are pointedly told, at Rev.12:11.

This testimony is based upon God's commands, which His genuine witnesses have branded on their hearts (Heb.10:16) which would be symbolized by a mark on their hand and forehead (Deut.6:6,8; 11:18; Rev.14:1; 7:3; 22:4)
Why is this "overcoming" by testimony, so great a feat?
Because any testimony that is disloyal toward the supremacy of the Beast, is punished by "death" 
(Rev.13:16-17,15; John 16:2; Mark 8:35).

  "Hidden Manna"
The hidden manna (truth -Matt.4:4; John 17:17) is the same reward as the tree of life (life -John 6:63; 10:10 B) and the morning star (the way  2Pet.1:19) (Rev.2:7,28,17).
All three refer to Christ (John 14:6).

and receiving from Christ, all that the Father has given him. ("hidden"manna -- Matt.11:25; Mark 8:29-30; John 14:21-22; 6:51,58,35,65; Matt.13:11; Col.2:2-3; Heb.10:20; Isa.29:11; Dan.12:10; John 15:15; 16:15; Rev.1:1)

  "Written"/"inscribed"
This Bible word carries with it the idea of being engraved. It shows devotion and servitude by the wearer, and of never forgetting what the mark stands for. This can be for good... (Isa.49:16,15; Song of Solomon 8:6), or for bad (Jer.17:1).

  "white"
This color (when genuine and not just on the surface), stands for purity/righteousness, before God (Isa.1:18; Mark 9:3; Heb.7:26;  1Cor.1:30; Rev.19:8)

 "pebble"
To derive the divine and accurate interpretation of the meaning of this symbolic pebble, I turn to the only other place it is mentioned within the Greek scriptures.
It is found at Acts 26:10. This link, "pebble", agrees with the light this verse sheds on the meaning.
In that verse, Paul uses the same Greek word (ψῆφον), to describe his "vote"/judgment...his previous decision to condemn Christ's disciples. A black pebble historically signified a negative judgment of condemnation. A white pebble, one of innocence and righteousness.

To be given a white pebble by Christ, is to be given his approval. That approval would also assure the receiver, that Jesus decided to apply his sacrifice to them, to wash their sins away (Jer.33:16; Rom.6:7,5; Rev.6:9,11; Mark 8:35), based upon their own sacrifice for truth. How precious a treasure, is the new name, written on that little white pebble!

But there is more to this white pebble and it's inscription.
God's Laws had previously been written on stone tablets (Ex.31:18). In this present age, He writes His Laws on hearts (2Cor.3:3,9). If we have refined our heart by means of the cleansing fire of God's Word (Num.31:23; Zech.13:9; Job 23:10,11;  1Cor.3:13-14,15,10-11; Matt.7:24-25; Eph.2:20; Prov.9:1), and have had our heart circumcised by God's spirit (Rom.2:28-29; Deut.30:6; Jer.24:7); Christ will read our heart, and give us his approval. For those Chosen, God's approval includes a designation among His everlasting Temple and Heavenly City.
    But receiving this pebble is not without it's obligation. 
It comes with a new name inscribed upon it, designating what the Master expects of the receiver...a calling to servitude, which the recipient must eternally fulfill. This is not a burden, but a reward....the joy of the Master (Matt.25:23)!

"New Name"

    God changed Abram's name, to Abraham. Why did God give Abram a new name? 
Gen.17:5 reads;
"No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations."
(Neh.9:7; Rom.4:17)
Abram means [Exalted Father].
Abraham means, [Father of Many].
Abraham was the exalted father to the Jews (John 8:33; Matt.15:24; Luke 19:9-10).
However, this was not to remain the basis of salvation...
Nor the role of Abraham as father to the physical Jews only!
(Luke 3:8; Matt.21:43; John 3:3,6,5; Mark 10:14; Heb.1:7; 2:5,16; Gal.3:26-27,28-29) (Gen.28:12-13,14,17; John 1:51; Rev.22:4,3).

God made a covenant with "Abraham", that he would become a father of "many Nations", not just the Israelites (Gen.17:5).
This multinational group (Rev.5:9-10;  1Pet.2:9-10), would become spiritual Jews (Rom.2:28-29), and therefore, have "Abraham" as their spiritual father (Gal.3:28-29), through their imitation of Abraham's faith (Rom.4:16-17; 3:22,24,30; 9:8; 4:11; Gal.3:7,14;  1Cor.12:13; Eph.2:15; John 10:16; Col.3:11.

The point of all this is,
that when God's purpose for one of his servants changes....
so does that servant's name. The name is a reflection of divine designation.
To be given a new name, is to be given a new designation...a new purpose...a new responsibility.

"which no one knows except him who receives it"

This is also true of Christ (Rev.19:12).
If we learn why Jesus is the only one who knows his own "new name" [before he gives it to others -(end of Rev.3:12)], then we can understand why others have exclusive knowledge of their new name.

Lets go back to remembering that having a name inscribed on one's self, also reflects that you are devoted in your heart and owned by what or who, that engraving represents. They are those whom you serve (Rev.22:4,3; 7:3).
To have exclusive knowledge of that inscription, would mean that you have exclusive knowledge of what the name of your object of devotion, means.
    We are openly told, that the new name includes,
"the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name." (Rev.3:12; 2:17)
To know your new designation and name,
including the other names listed in Rev.3:12,
is to know God, New Jerusalem, and Christ's new name.
If others do not fully understand and know God, His Holy City, or Christ's new name/designation;
then they cannot know the new designation/name, that the faithful receive.
Let's look at this through a scriptural lens.

Why it is, that only the giver (Christ) and the receiver of the pebble, know the "new name" written upon it?

"No one knows the Father but the Son, and anyone the Son reveals Him to." (Matt.11:27)

In the time of the end, those worshiping the Beast do not know the Father (2Thess.1:8; Rev.16:2; 13:8), nor remember His command for exclusive devotion (Matt.4:10), nor His forbidding the sharing of his glory with any other entity (Isa.42:8; 48:11).
In the time of the end, these divine laws are even violated among God's own priesthood and Nation (Rom.1:25; Rev.11:2; Isa.51:23; Matt.5:13;  2Cor.11:3-4,20,13;  1Tim.4:1; Rev.16:13-14,15; 13:7,4; Jer.5:31) (Isa.5:13-14).
Yes...people from all Nations marvel at the unconquerable Beast Idol with admiration, and ask in praise,
"Who is like the Beast?"!!!
(Rev.13:4)
How will Jesus Christ cope with his priesthood of kings (Rev.1:5; 5:10), when they have been mislead into worshiping an Idol in such a manner?
His own priests are endorsing the kingdom of the Beasts (Rev.13:4,7), instead of the kingdom by their God and Lord 
(Isa.43:13; Ps.50:22; Dan.4:35; Amos 4:12)(Ps.2:11-12; Rev.6:17) (Rev.11:15).
What will God's solution to this insulting abomination be? (Eze.8:3,6; Mark 13:14;  2Thess.2:4)
What will He direct Christ (the high priest) to do, 
to reprove, cleanse, and discipline his Temple priests (Mal.3:3), in a capacity Jesus has never served in before?

"Michael" must stand up (Dan.12:1), whose "new name" means, "Who is like God ???"
Michael's name reflects his role and purpose during Armageddon  
     (Jer.50:44 --“Behold, like a lion coming up from the
       thicket of the Jordan against a perennial pasture (Hosea13:7,8,9),
       I will suddenly make them run away from Babylon, and I
       will appoint over her whomever I choose (Rev.17:16,17).
       For who is like me? Who will summon me?
       What shepherd can stand before me? -Rev.6:17
       Jer.50:45; Zech.13:7,8,9; Rev.9:18,20; Jer.50:46; Rev.18:9,10,11,15,19).

"Michael" is Christ's "new name". He is the only one to know the answer to the question his "new name" asks, because of Matt.11:27 above.
He is the only one who knows, why God alone deserves unique praise, glory, and honor;
until he also gives this same name (and knowledge) to those whom he chooses (Rev.15:2-3,4,8).
Can you see why this is true, according to Matt.11:27?

At first, Jesus must take a stand for the sovereignty of God, all alone by himself 
[Eze.22:30 (Ps.106:23); Isa.63:5; Eze.13:5; Jer.5:1; Zech.3:9] (Luke 18:7-8)
(Matt.25:5-6,7; Mark 13:36; Isa.52:1-2,3-4,5-6; 60:1-2; Eph.5:14;  1Thess.5:6).
Those who by God's grace, "catch sight" of the abominations being done in the midst of God's people (Matt.24:15; Eze.8:3,5-6; 9:4) will be roused from their drunken slumber, shocked to realize the conditions which surround them, as well as their own sins. 
(Isa.48:1-2,3-4,5-6,7-8,9-10,11; Mal.3:1-2,3; Joel 1:13; Rev.11:3)
As a part of their new name,
they must ride forth with "Michael". 
Also having this "new name" written on them,
they too are designated to declare the Supreme Glory and Sovereignty of Almighty God (Isa.43:10-11,12-13,15,21), in the face of the blasphemous Beast! 
(Dan.7:25; 11:36; Rev.13:6;  2Thess.2:4)
These sober virgins must be designated to join Christ in his battle against the demonic idolatry afoot among their fellow slaves. They must fight this battle by means of their testimony to truth 
(Dan.8:13-14;  2Cor.10:4-5; Luke 10:19; Rev.2:26-27; 17:14; 19:11,14,8).

How?
They too must receive knowledge of God's omnificence (Rev.4:11; Isa.43:6-7,10-11,12,15,19,21;  1Pet.2:9; Rev.14:7), so that they too can champion God's name as most glorious in all the earth and deserving of all praise.
Jesus Christ, in his new capacity, will give that knowledge to those whom he finds awoken (Matt.11:27; Jer.24:7; Isa.43:10-11; Luke 12:36-37,38-39,40; John 15:15; Rev.11:3-4; 12:7), rescuing them from the spell and dominion of the Beast (Rev.9:4-5,6,10; Ps.6:4-5; Jer.15:21; 31:11; Isa.43:1; 48:20; Rev.18:4; 14:11-12,13).

So what does it mean that "Michael" will also write his "new name" on the sealed and faithful conquerors?
Just as the end of Matt.11:27 says. (Heb.2:12-13; Isa.50:4; 54:13; Matt.10:27)
He will also reveal the Father's nature as being above all other entities, including the Beast, it's image, and the false prophet (Rev.19:20).
They will know the Father through Christ, in a way that those who are extolling the Beasts, cannot possibly perceive.
This is why they themselves are the only ones who also know the meaning of the name that asks, "Who is like God?" (Rev.2:17; 3:12).

Now, if we return to Isa.43:10-11...
can you see the connection?
Can you see who alone has the right to be called "Yhvh's Witnesses"?
Regarding the name "Yhvh's Witnesses", it is a title given by God himself, to his "chosen" ones (Isa.43:10-11). Others who assume they own that name, commit blasphemy 
(Rev.13:4-5,6-7,8; 11:2; Dan.7:25; 11:36;  2Thess.2:4; Ps.73:9; Isa.37:23; 2:11; Matt.23:12).
In Isa.43:10-11,21 it tells us that these are given knowledge of God, and then declare His praises, sourced in that knowledge. 
These sing a new song...a new understanding of who God is (Rev.14:3;  1Cor.14:15; Ps.147:1-2).

This becomes especially critical, in the time of the end, when all are mislead into extolling the false prophet, the Beast, and it's image.
The faithful can become God's "chosen" witnesses,
due to the new designation and understanding of their new name,
"Who is like God???", which new name, knowledge of God, and capacity to serve, 
is shared with Jesus Christ (Rev.12:7,11; 14:6-7; 22:8-9).

[Another preacher who claims to be Chosen by God, wrote a public commentary about this post. He claimed that the things written here, are not true, based upon the previous existence of "Michael" within the Hebrew scriptures... notably, at Dan.10:13.
Here is my response, for those interested...

"I thought I would respond to your comment on “Michael” and your citing of Dan.10:13.
You may wish to consider the context of Dan.10:13, and a parallel scripture… Dan.12:1.

“13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me (2Thess.2:4,6,7) for twenty-one days
(3.5 X 6). Then Michael, one of the chief [of the celestial] princes (Ps.45:7,16; Heb.2:11,12,13; Rev.1:5; 5:9,10), CAME TO HELP ME, for I remained there with the kings of Persia.
14 Now I have come to make you understand what is to befall your people IN THE LATTER DAYS, for the vision is for [many] days yet to come.” (Dan.10:13,14)

“And at that time [of the end] Michael shall arise, the great prince WHO DEFENDS AND HAS CHARGE OF YOUR PEOPLE (Eph.5:23; Col.1:18; John 14:18; Heb.2:13) (Rev.12:7; 17:14; 19:11,19). And there shall be a time of trouble, straitness, and distress such as never was since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the Book (Rev.3:5).” (Dan.12:1)

The angelic messenger speaking to Daniel about his difficulty in coming in response to Daniel’s prayer, discloses that he was finally enabled, due to Michael’s assistance.
He also discloses that his hindrance was due to the "prince of the kingdom of Persia" and the "kings of Persia".
All of these things are prophetic, and pertain to the time of the end.
I hope you may reconsider this perspective, when contemplating when it is, that the appearance of “Michael” (to defend God's people and messenger), actually occurs.
The fact that Daniel experiences this vision before the birth of Jesus Christ, does not negate the power of this prophetic vision. Daniel was a prophet, and the divine visions he experienced pertaining to the time of the end, were prophetic. They are not historical in what they depict, but pertain to the time of the end, as do all depictions of “Michael”.
Daniel’s participation within the visions were inspired by Holy Spirit. It was God’s purpose that he record it, and God sealed it up until the time in which it would be fulfilled…. in the time of the end… not in the time of Daniel.
When one is truly an inspired prophet (Num.12:6);
one understands the basic truth, that what one experiences in vision is not the present reality,
but rather, is a depiction of the future.
The “angel” sent to Daniel, is the same angel/messenger sent to Zechariah (Zech.4:4,9) and to the “Seven Congregations” (Rev.1:1; 22:6,16).

I see you have formed a spiritual alliance with one who promulgates “Watchtower” wormwood, regarding the identity of “Babylon the Great”, rather than the scriptural definition of the entity. Christ has come to offer us “gold refined in the fire” (Rev.3:18; Mal.3:1,2,3). That “gold” is not "24 carat", but is so pure, that it is transparent (Rev.21:21; 22:1).
