God's Sabbath rest for His People [] What is Paradise?

Isa.29: "10 The Lord has brought over you a deep sleep: (1Thess.5:6-7; John 3:19-21)
    He has sealed your eyes (the prophets);
    he has covered your heads (the seers).
11 For you this whole vision is nothing but words sealed in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I can’t; it is sealed.” 12 Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I don’t know how to read.”
13 The Lord says:
“These people come near to me with their mouth
    and honor me with their lips,
    but their hearts are far from me.
Their worship of me
    is based on merely human rules they have been taught."

Those who do not worship God in the way that He desires (John 4:23-24) because their worship is based upon human doctrine, fail to be granted the spiritual perception needed to attain insight and understanding of divine knowledge.
The consequences of worshiping according to human doctrine and commands of men 
(Matt.15:8-9; Col.2:22; Rom.10:2-3)...
Isa.28: "10 For it is:
    Do this, do that,
    a rule for this, a rule for that;
    a little here, a little there.”
11 Very well then, with foreign lips and strange tongues
    God will speak to this people, 12 God said to them, “Here is a place of rest; let the tired people come and rest. This is the place of peace.” But the people would not listen." (Isa.28:10-11,12)


Those who worship outside the realm of divine truth will be unable to hear and grasp the true teachings, even when they hear them spoken. When their hearts are hardened and turned away, refusing to repent; God refuses to grant them rest and peace (Isa.59:8; Rom.3:11,17; Heb.3:10-11,18-19; Matt.7:21-22,23). 
Jesus is the source of true peace... the peace that results from attaining and taking in the water of life (John 14:27; 4:13-14; 6:63)

John 14: "27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

Matt.11:  "28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

Those who do not have a love of truth are deceived through false human doctrine 
(2Thess.2:10; Eze.13:9-10;  2Pet.2:19;  1Thess.5:3; Isa.26:16-17,18-19,20-21). 
Those lacking love of divine truth do not prioritize turning to God's Word and Christ, rather than to men. They are therefore refused by God and Christ to be granted spiritual sight and the ability to hear divine spirit (Rev.2:29). To those deprived of spiritual perception, Christ's parables and the deep symbolism of prophecy are unreadable (Isa.29:10-11; Matt.13:19). These are refused the peace and rest that results from spiritual insight.
Jesus spoke of this...
Matt.13: "10 The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?”
11 He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. 13 This is why I speak to them in parables:
“Though seeing, they do not see;
    though hearing, they do not hear or understand.
14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:
“‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
    you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
15 For this people’s heart has become calloused;
    they hardly hear with their ears,
    and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
    hear with their ears,
    understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.’"

Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath (Mark 2:27-28). 
He is the one authorized to grant or deny the peace and rest which results from possessing divine spirit and truth 
(Isa.22:22; Rev.3:7-8; Prov.3:1-2,3-4; Heb.4:1-2,9,6-7; Matt.13:15-16; Luke 1:79). 
He is also the one to grant or deny entrance into God's Sabbath rest, and access to God's Holy City. 
The source of divine spirit and truth is God's holy city... the garden of God... the paradise of God (meaning: garden of delights). 
Third Heaven, is Paradise (2Cor.12:2,4; Rev.2:7; 22:2,14) where fine trees that yield the fine teachings of truth (Matt.13:52; 6:21; 12:35; Luke 6:43-44,45; John 15:16,8).

Not all are granted access 
(Rev.22:14-15; Matt.18:3; Rev.22:19; 21:2,9-10,23-24,25-26,27,6-7; 22:17; 14:13). 
This means that not all can derive spiritual sustenance from divine truth. This is symbolically depicted as not having access to the trees of life. Those outside the holy city have manifested their unrepentant preference for human doctrine (Rom.1:25;  1Cor.10:14).

God's Sabbath rest is a gift to the faithful 
(Isa.26:2-3; Mark 2:27-28;  2Sam.7:10; Eze.37:25; Heb.4:8-9; Rev.21:7)
There they find the provisions leading to lasting peace and rest.


Why did Jesus lack rest while he was on earth? (Matt.8:20)

At Gen.1:31 and Gen.2:1-2 we learn that when God saw that His creation was in good condition, he was then able to rest from His work. He Himself found rest and peace in the condition of His creation. Everything was set up so that it would perpetuate in a flawless way. This perfection was assured in the capable hands of Adam and Eve, as they remained guided by God through the teachings of the Tree of Life. God's forethought and planning was perfect, executed through the Logos. Creation's design had perfect maintenance built into it, and under this divine design there would be no unsolvable challenges.

To illustrate, a woman may work all day to prepare a dinner party. Before the guests arrive, she sets the food out in warmers, the table is set, the beverages are on the table, and everything that her guests could need or want is within their reach. She sees that everything is ready and of fine quality as the doorbell rings. She is then able to sit down to the table with her guests, and enjoy the result of all her preparations.
She can relax with her guests, unless a problem arises.
If a guest enters the house with a large dog, who jumps up on the serving table and knocks things on the floor; the host must end her rest. There is cleaning to do, but there is also the need to provide new food to replace the original meal. Naturally, that is going to take time, a new plan, and work.

We can apply this simple illustration to what occurred when God hosted all physical life on this planet. As we read in the book of Genesis, God prepared everything to meet His standards of quality. When He finished and saw that it was all good, He entered His Rest.
When creation's perfect arrangement was disrupted by sin and death, God also ended His rest. As Jesus told us in the first century:
"17 But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.... 19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. 20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. 21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. 22 For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son". (John 5)
There would have been no need for God to return to work if sin and death did not enter His creation. 
What work are we referring to?
God had to teach and cultivate a people as His own, so that through the faithful among them, He would revise the original arrangement, justify a new plan, and progress toward the establishing of a new creation. This would require a progression of covenants. He would uphold His commitments to the faithful among His people, and the faithful would uphold God's requirements. Such requirements were the judicial requirement needed to address the corruption of the original creation, and progress toward it's completed solution.
As long as God's creation is ruined by corruption, evil, and death; He can not look upon it, pronounce it "good", and take His rest. 
Jesus Christ is the most significant part of God's plan of restoration. He worked alongside his Father throughout history, even before his human life 
(1Cor.10:1-2,3-4; John 8:56-58; 1:1-2,3,14; Isa.48:2; Deut.8:15; Neh.9:15). 
Those who are anointed, also work in God's purpose of restoration, alongside Jesus Christ 
(Matt.11:29; Col.3:24; Heb.8:1-2,6; 9:11-12; John 2:19; Matt.16:18; Eph.2:10,20-21,22; 4:11-12,16; Rev.22:1-2,17)

The Logos was often "the angel of the Lord" referred to in scripture. 
To be an angel is to be a messenger. "Logos" means the Word of God, the one bearing and bringing God's Word (John 12:49). The Logos would also have been the one to inspire God's prophets as well, in guiding them in their message and declarations.

So what we are seeing, is that God's own rest and peace is interrupted when evil taints His creation. He does not rest when evil requires Him to address it with His divine power, wisdom, and justice. God went about identifying and implementing a solution that would address when creation fell into the hands of the Destroyer (Gen.3:15; Isa.33:1).
God also is robbed of peace and rest when His own people fall into the hands of the Destroyer, by turning away from His progressive purpose and turning toward Idols.
Num.14:11; Judges 2:12; Neh.9:26,30; Ps.78:39-40,41

By depriving of God of His rest and peace, they would not share in it when it finally arrives 
(Heb.3:10-11,12; Num.14:22-23; Deut.1:34-35;  1Cor.10:1-2,3-4,5-6,7-8,9-10,11-12)
We also must not find an apathetic rest and peace in a place of corruption (Micah 2:10). When we act in harmony with the standards of God, it allows God some rest along with us 
(Num.25:10-11,12-13; Isa.32:17; Ps.119:165; Prov.27:11).

Here is the essence of how peace is achieved for God, so that He can enter His rest...
God says at Isa.62:1
  "For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace,
And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest,
Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness,
And her salvation as a lamp that burns."

God's rest is associated with the establishing of an eternal holy city in which He will dwell.

and Psalm 132:13-14
  "13 For the Lord has chosen Zion;
He has desired it for His dwelling place:
14 “This is My resting place forever;
Here I will dwell, for I have desired it."


When Jesus came to earth, Jerusalem was not filled with Righteousness. Jerusalem's salvation was not a bright burning lamp of divine wisdom. It was not a place for God or Jesus to find rest in it's righteousness.
Therefore Jesus said; “Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to rest his head.” (Matt.8:20) (Luke 19:41; 13:34)

How was rest achieved for Jesus?
He knew that by his faithfulness, he would provide the price for the achievement of God's place of rest 
(John 2:19-20,21; Eph.5:30; Heb.10:5; Col.2:19; Eph.2:21; Heb.8:2; Eph.2:10;  2Cor.5:17; Eph.4:23-24; 2:10; Heb.8:2; Acts 7:48; Rev.21:2-3,9-10; 22:14-15; Zech.8:3). 
God's righteous and holy City would be established and attained (Eph.1:10; Hab.2:3).

Rest: through Zion
Zech.8:3; Matt.17:1-3,4-5;  2Pet.1:17-18; Rev.14:1

Rest: through Christ, and preparations for his arrival

Rest: through the righteous seed of Abraham / those of Abraham's faith / the house of God

The Third [] Third Heaven

I am in the process of writing this post.
I have published it, only because that helps me to write it and use the pop up scriptures as I write and edit. 
When the post is ready, I will remove this section.

I thought I would provide another look at these two related topics.
First lets look at the 1/3rd and the remaining 2/3rds, and what the Bible has to say about these slices of a population. If we consider scriptures where these are mentioned, we can collect the details to construct a clear understanding.

John 14:3  By Jesus faithful death for truth, he exemplified the way to joining him in faithfulness in Paradise ...third heaven.

1Kings 3:18
...Although this verse does not mention 1/3, it came up in my search, and felt that it has relevance. I'll explain. It reads;
"The third day after my child was born, this woman also had a baby. We were alone; there was no one in the house but the two of us."
This is the story of two mothers. In the past we've learned that mothers symbolize covenants (Gal. 4:24,26,28). There is a mother covenant of life (Mal. 2:5;  2Cor. 3:6; Rev. 22:17) 
and one of death (Isa. 28:15,18; Rev. 6:8). 
In the account at 1Kings 3:16-18,19-21,22-25,26-28, 
both mothers give birth. One mother unintentionally kills her child and during the night, she switches the babies, stealing the live one. The thief feeds the live child, and places the dead baby who cannot nurse, at the breast of the sleeping mother. The real mother of the living child can see that the dead one at her bosom, is not hers. 
She takes the case to the judicial court of king Solomon.
Solomon decrees that the child be cut in two, and each half be divided between the mothers. The genuine mother surrenders her live baby to the thief, to save it's life. Solomon has made evident who the genuine mother is, and the child is then given to it's real mother.
I wasn't drawn to this account because of "the third day", but because in the testimony of the genuine mother, she says "there was no one in the house but the two of us". Yet it's obvious, that the third one in the house was the live baby. There were three, and the baby was the third.
Mother covenant members, symbolically breast feed the spirit of their children (1Pet. 2:2; Isa. 66:10-11). The dead baby could not feed on the mother of love. The live baby fed during the night, upon the breast of a mother who did not love the child. That false mother would rather see the live baby die, than have it returned to it's mother. Her vengeful jealousy and resentment may have likely culminated in killing the baby who was not her own. 
The stolen child needed to be saved and returned to it's real mother.
I see how this account contains the same pattern which applies to the experience of the 1/3 of scripture. They too, are stolen by the mother Covenant of Death... a mother that kills her own offspring. Once stolen, they are fed spiritual milk that is not suited for them, due to the selfishness of the false mother. That mother later demands that the child be killed with the sword. The 1/3 would have been killed sooner by Satan's agents, but the mother covenant of life surrendered the 1/3 in order to preserve their life for a period of time during the great tribulation... until the heavenly judge decrees that the 1/3 be returned to the mother of their spiritual birth.
After discussing the three heavens, I will continue with the topic of the "Third".


THREE HEAVENS
Above you see three sections of heaven depicted. The first shows birds in flight, navigating the air. I will associate this level as those who are "Called".
In the second level up, it would appear that spirit beings are in battle. I associate this level of the spiritual heavens, as "Chosen", because once anointed by God's spirit, we must defend the truth and battle with Christ's enemies (2Cor.10:3-5; Eph.6:11-13; 5:11; Rev.12:7-9; Ps.110:1-2).
Finally, in the highest level depicted here, we see the Holy City, New Jerusalem, the Bride of Christ, a dwelling of God's spirit to be with mankind. I associate this level as "Faithful".

CALLED

Jesus said; “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them". To be drawn to Christ, is to be called. How are we called to Jesus Christ by the Father? What are we being drawn to, specifically?
We are told in John 1:14 that the Logos, the Word of God, is who Jesus was before his coming to earth as a man. As a man, he referred to himself as "the way, the truth, and the life". All three of those are manifested in scripture the Word of God, the Logos. We are being called, or drawn, to Christ.
The Way (Ps. 119:9-11,105; Prov. 4:11-12,18,20,22,25-27; 2Sam. 22:31; Isa. 2:3; Heb. 13:7)
The Truth (John 17:17; John 6:55 (ESV) ; Ps. 33:4; 119:160; Rev. 21:5)
The Life (John 6:63,68; 5:40; Phil. 2:16;  1John 1:1-3)
When we are drawn to Christ, we are being drawn to the divine truth found in the scriptures, the Word of God.
All of Christ's sheep are being drawn to him, the voice of truth from the shepherd of their souls. Yet some of these will be selected for a particular path in the course of God's purpose for them.
Being called to scripture requires that God enable that one to have a hunger for and a desire to search out divine truth (John 6:65). This is a necessary step for many who will follow the teachings and example of Christ. It is the first step for those who are purposed for third heaven.

So as we see the birds of heaven in first heaven, these can depict those being carried by the wind of God's spirit, to divine truth found in scripture (Isa. 56:8; Prov. 8:17; Jer. 29:13; Eze. 34:11; Isa. 40:11). One place where this ability of God's spirit is applied, is at Luke 17:37 (NKJV) in speaking of those called, drawn, and lead to the faithful slain, as eagles.
This calling is also for those of the heavenly calling, before their names are written in heaven as CHOSEN  (Luke 10:20). Whatever our place in God's purpose; all must be called to Christ... the way, truth, and the life.

CHOSEN
1Pet. 2:9 (chosen race Gal. 3:26/called you ^ John 1:9); Matt. 12:18; John 13:18; Acts 9:15; 10:40-42; 
(Rev. 19:17 (RSV) ; Rev. 19:18; 17:16 (Eze. 39:1,4,17-21,22-25,26-29)
Those who are purposed to serve as one of God's anointed priests and who are faithful with the first calling (Matt. 7:7-8), will be chosen. Being faithful in being called to scripture, involves a devoted searching and love of divine truth, and a commitment to obey it. Those successfully advancing in gaining Bible knowledge will be granted enough insight to equip them to challenge and expose false doctrine. Those chosen will gradually be equipped to teach divine truth and to defend it. This leads into a battle with demonic deception. It also leads into persecution and tribulation because Satan and the demons fight back in this spiritual enmity. Not all those chosen are willing to continue on the difficult path of Christ's example. Not all chosen continue on, to be designated by Christ as faithful.

Rev. 14:6-7; 19:17-18
The angel that flies in mid-heaven who stands in the sun...
          (Phil. 4:1;  1Thess. 3:8; Mal. 4:2; Rev. 22:16)
...is in mid-heaven because that messenger is a chosen one, not yet finished completing a designation of faithful. All must endure to the end (Matt. 10:22; Rev. 2:25; 12:17,11).

Those who are chosen are expected to give God's warnings and pour out the wrath of his judgments.
The Chosen who battle against demonic deception, battle with Christ against the Devil and his angels (Rev. 12:7; 19:11-12,13-14,19). They are not the only ones called to the battlefield of mid-heaven (Rev. 19:17-18). Others are compelled to join in eating the flesh of those who enjoyed power and authority that was used against God's will. By eating the flesh, they are feasting on the sins of others (Hosea 4:8) (Rom. 8:5,4,6,13; Gal. 5:17-18,19-20,21; 6:8). 
There are many today that have extricated themselves from the Beast organization and its apostate leadership. Those who have suffered under the tyranny of that alliance can be found online, exposing the hypocrisies, falsehoods, abuses of power and shameless luxuries. This is depicted in the spirit realm as their feasting on the flesh of those who held such positions over them. Spirit is guiding those spiritual birds into the battle field, to join in the exposure and demise of God's enemies. Yet these birds do not always do so out of respect for God or Christ. Most do so for personal vindication, and they are welcomed to do so (Eze. 16:35-40; 29:5; Isa. 56:9; Jer. 12:9; Deut. 28:26; Rev. 17:16-17).
Although mid-heaven is where the Chosen will be found subduing the last of Christ's enemies 
(2Cor. 10:3-5; Eph. 6:12; 5:11;  1Cor. 15:26; Rev. 6:7-8;  1Cor. 15:54-56).

Those who are destined for third heaven, are described and designated in prophecy as belonging to the group which is referred to as the THIRD.
Next we will look at some of those prophecies, and especially in how that designation relates to the time of the End.
We will examine the Bible's meaning of the "third" as found in the following of Revelation's verses:

What Does it Mean to be Made in God's Image?

Question:
Gen.1:26 reads; 
"26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
What does it mean that we are made in God's image?

My Reply:
At Gen.5:1 we read;
"5 This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God."
This tells us that while everything was as yet, seen by God as "good"; Adam was in the likeness of God (Gen.1:27,31). We can begin to learn what it means to be a "likeness" and "in the image of" if we look at Gen.5:3NKJV. There it reads;
"3 And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth".
When we consider the likeness between a father and son, we notice that they share traits. There is an identifiable resemblance.
How can a human of flesh, resemble a spirit? (John4:24; 3:6)
That resemblance could not be in regard to physical traits. They then must be as regards spiritual traits.
(1Pet.1:15-16;  1Thess.4:7; Matt.5:48;  2Cor.7:1; Eph.5:1;  1John3:9).
Before Adam sinned, he possessed the spirit of God and lived according to that spirit 
(Gen.2:7; John20:22; Gal.5:16-17,22-25; Rom.8:13; Phil.2:3; Matt.7:12). 
Before sinning; Adam reflected his holy Father.

Luke 3:38 tells us that at his creation; Adam was a son of God.
As such, Adam also was placed with a dominion (Gen.1:26). The authority and power given Adam included the ability to be a steward of all the creation placed under his feet. He was expected to follow another expression of God's likeness... to be benevolent, merciful, generous, and kind.

When Adam sinned, his likeness to God was lost. Adam took on the traits of a different father. The ruthless cruelty of narcissism replaced holiness 
(John 8:44; John 10:10 a; Eph.2:2;  1John3:10; Rom.5:12; 8:20). 
His heart would now produce thorns, thistles and briers, instead of cultivating the word of God 
(Luke 8:11,15; Gen.3:18; Matt.15:18-19; Luke 6:44-45). 
The spirit of God no longer dwelt in Adam, and without God's spirit, there is no life 
(Rom.8:13; Gal.5:17,19-21) (Hab.1:13;  1Chron.28:9; Ps.104:29-30> LINK:*(see the GNT translation)

All this rightly sounds distressing, because we are all generated from and born in, the likeness of Adam and Eve (Ps.51:5; Rom.3:23; 5:12). 
Is there any hope for us to be able to retrieve the spirit of God, renounce sin and death, and regain the spirit and life that Adam was initially blessed with? (John 3:15-16; Gal.5:22-25).

Gen.1:27 brings in another topic in addition to being made in God's image. It adds that God made them male and female. This is where the duel existence of having traits of both flesh and spirit comes into the picture. God's image, is spirit (John4:24). Male and female is physical. Originally, Adam and Eve were both physical and spiritual. - When we are born as spirit, as Gal.3:28 tells us, we are nether male nor female. God and the Logos were also neither male nor female in the physical sense. 
Only in the spiritual sense, are they male. Only in a spiritual sense, is the bride of Christ, female (2Cor.11:2-3; Eph.5:23-32; Rev.21:2,9-10). 
As spiritual fathers, God and Christ cause life​ (Prov.23:24NIV ; Ps.36:9; Isa.9:6). The bride covenant members, nurture what God causes to become (Gal.4:26;  1Thess.2:7-9;  1Pet.2:2; Isa.66:10-11) by caring for the children that result from His spirit and truth (Eph.5:8;  1Thess.5:5,8-9).

Who are the Two Gods of Creation?

Question:
At Genesis 1:26 we read; "Then God said, 'Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.' ”
The creators seem to be plural. Who are they?

My Reply:
First of all, let's see when Gen.1:26 took place.
We learn about when, from Gen.1:1...
"1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."
So, the "beginning" being referred to, is the origin of the physical creation. That can be plainly seen, if the rest of the chapter is read (Gen.1).

We can learn who was present at the beginning of the physical creation, by reading John 1:1-3
  "1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made."
    (Before this common obstacle arises, let's take care of the end of verse 1 where we are told that
     the Word was God, and therefore, there was really only one person at the beginning of
     the physical creation. This would seem to contradict John 1:2. 
     So how are we to understand that both the Word, and God, were both God? 
     Does this make the Word the same person as God, or are they two separate persons?
                                      The original Greek word, translated into "God", is 

     This Greek word is pronounced "theos". "Theos" is consistently translated into "God" / "god".
     "Theos" occurs in many scriptures which are not referring to the One Father and God of all
     (2Cor.4:4; Ps.82:6; John10:34-35; 3:5-6). It must also be noted that this word is consistently 
     used in reference to spirit existence. Therefore, this fact is reasonably convincing that 
     the word "theos" does not refer to a single person, but rather to a spiritual nature of existence.)
     Many persons share in being human. It does not follow that all humans are the same person.

So, when we read at John 1:1-2 that the Word was simultaneously with God, and also existing as God ("theos"), we need not become confused. The Word of John 1:1 possessed spirit nature (Phil.2:6-7; John 1:14), just as The supremely omniscient and pre-eminent God and Father of all, is also a spirit (Eph.4:6; John 4:24).

Obviously, if the Word (Greek: "Logos") was present at the start of the physical creation; he would have to be born prior to the physical creation. Yet as a spirit being, he would not be a part of the physical creation but rather, a creation of spirit ("theos"). That would mean that at the start of all God's creative work, The God initially created other spirit, according to His own spiritual nature and existence (1Cor.15:40).
Do the scriptures indicate this?
At Rev.3:14 we read;
"‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God".
Colossians 1:15 >
"15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation."
John14:7,10-11 >
7 If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him! 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me. 11 Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or at least believe because of the work you have seen me do." 
John 17:5 >
"5 Now, Father, bring me into the glory we shared before the world began."

  Jesus is said to be the firstborn of God's creating, and assigned as having authority over the creation that followed.
But Jesus is also referred to as an "only-begotten" son of God (John 3:16NKJV). How should we understand this?
The original Greek word that is translated into "only" son, is:

It's definition means to be, the only one generated. [Here is a link to (Strong's G3439)].
So then, the Word (Logos) is the only spirit being, directly and personally generated, by The God.
How then, did the rest of creation come into existence? Who created the physical realm?

Let's return to John chapter One, this time paying close attention to verse three.
John 1:1-3...
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him nothing was made that was made."
Now things are getting clearer, regarding your original question.
Verse 3 teaches us, how it is that two spirit beings (two "theos") were present and worked together for the birth of the physical creation. Verse 3 tells us that The God created "through him" (the Word),
and without him (the Word), nothing was made (John 1:3). (Rom.11:36; 1Cor.15:27-28)

End Time

 Is time compressing a sign this world as we know it is ending and His kingdom is nigh, Pearl? 
 I thought maybe Eph.5:16 may refer to what I noticed.

Yes, so many of them are now finally, really taking place. Jesus said that when we see them, know that he "is near, even at the door" (Matt.24:3,33). 
He has already been at the door, knocking. The door has already been opened by the doorkeeper (Mark 13:34), 
and he has come in to eat with that one 
(Luke 12:36; Matt.24:33; Rev.3:20; 2:17; Luke 12:37; 17:7-8; 12:35-37,38-40,42-44).

Ecc.9:12 reads; "Moreover, no one knows when that hour will come: As fish are caught in a cruel net, or birds are taken in a snare, so people are trapped by evil times that fall unexpectedly upon them. "
  In the first century; Jesus also said that no one knows that hour (Matt.24:36) of unexpected evil (1Thess.5:3; 2Thess.2:1-3), 
That "hour", is the Great Tribulation (Eph.6:13; Luke 21:31,36; Matt.24:21,36; 1Tim.4:1; Luke22:53; 2Pet.3:3-4; Hab.2:2-3) 

 Ecc.9:12 said that the evil times are like a snare. 
Note what Jesus said at Luke21:34: "34 But watch yourselves, or your hearts will be weighed down by dissipation, drunkenness, and the worries of life—and that day will spring upon you suddenly, like a snare." 
Since this test will unexpectedly close in upon those alive at that time; we do best to stay alert to our own inspection by Christ, so that whenever that hour arrives, we are ready 
(Luke 12:19; Rev.3:17; Mark 13:36; Matt.25:5; Luke 11:5-8; Rev.3:20) (1Cor.7:31; 2Pet.3:11-12,9-10).

 When Jesus was on earth, he said that no one knows that hour, except the Father (Matt.24:36). 
Does the Father ever tell Jesus, that "hour" of darkness?
 (Luke 22:53; 21:25; Acts 2:19-20; Mark 13:23-25; Rev.9:2-3,7; Joel 2:1-2; Isa.60:2-3) 
Jesus claimed, "Yes"... John16:12-13,16; 5:20; 3:35).


At both Rev.5:5-7,12-13 and Dan.7:13-14 we are shown that the time arrives when Jesus also knows the time of the end. 
He then sends his messenger, to show his followers, "what will soon take place". (Rev.1:1; 22:6,16).
The symbolic description of those imminent events, is unveiled by the scroll of Revelation.

Anxiety | The Spiritual Meaning of 7

"While Our Father in heaven's truth is revealed in His Word and expounded upon in your prophetic blogs (which I understand), I'm concerned about us facing Satan's physical counterfeit.
I feel we need to be physically as well as spiritually prepared. What is coming upon us, and exampled in a big way with the Covid-19 situation, is a lack of food and provisions to physically provide for us until the much anticipated "end". Emotional aspects that come along with it as well. Will we be physically prepared (as in the biblical principal of the 7 good years followed by 7 bad years) to be able to endure until the end?"

My Reply:
Matt.6: "25 “That’s why I’m telling you to stop worrying about your life—what you will eat or what you will drink—or about your body—what you will wear. Life is more than food, isn’t it, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds in the sky. They don’t plant or harvest or gather food into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. You are more valuable than they are, aren’t you? 27 Can any of you add a single hour to the length of your life by worrying? 31 “So don’t ever worry by saying, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’ 32 because it is the unbelievers who are eager for all those things. Surely your heavenly Father knows that you need all of them! 33 But first be concerned about God’s kingdom and his righteousness, and all of these things will be provided for you as well. 34 So never worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. 20 But keep on storing up treasures for yourselves in heaven, where moths and rust do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal, 21 because where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.””

It does not hurt to be prudent and store up some supplies. But our greatest anxiety, should be to learn and do the will of God and to please the Lord.
 

Regarding your reference to "seven good years and seven bad years" (Gen.41:29-30)...
God was the originator of Pharoah's dream (Gen.41:25), as well as it's interpreter (Gen.40:8; 41:15-16). God was responsible for the 7 years of bounteous surplus, and the 7 years of famine. Why would God do such a thing? What is the lesson?
The numeral 7 has symbolic meaning.
(Rev.1:20; 22:6; 19:10; 8:6; Isa.58:1; Jer.35:15; Rev.5:6; Ps.19:4; Rev.4:5; Matt.6:22; Rev.5:6)
God and Christ send out the spirit of prophecy (7), into the "earth".

Prophets are messengers that are symbolized as stars/lamps/eyes, set upon hills-mountains/lampstands/congregations.

are sent to provide light/spiritual food, to each congregation (Rev.1:20; Matt.5:14-15; Luke 12:42).

Satan himself has 7 heads (Rev.12:3), which are the main manifestations of his dominion through false prophets who take a leadership, governing role sourced in the ruler of this world 
(Luke 4:5-6;  1John 5:19).

Rather than having the voice of true prophets, edify the Elect...

"Seven" years of bounty, is the spiritual food we receive from God, through His true prophets (Isa.55:1-2; Mal.3:10).
Seven years of famine are the years during which the false prophets/harlots/fallen stars, reign over God's nation.
Stewards can be faithful or unfaithful (Luke 12:42,47).
Faithful true prophets provide true food at the time it is needed.
Unfaithful, false prophets, cause famine
(Isa.29:8; Rev.3:17-18; Isa.29:8-9,10; Jer.51:7; Rev.14:8; Isa.28:7-8).

So what is the divine Bible lesson, contained in the 7 years of bounty and 7 years of famine?

Well, Joseph advised that during the 7 years of bounty, provisions be stored up for use during the famine to come (Gen.41:35-36).
The words of God's true prophets, have been "stored up" for us, in the scriptures 
(2Pet.1:19-20,21;  2Tim.3:16-17).
During the 7 years of spiritual famine, caused by "demonic spirits" coming from the mouth of Satan, the Beast, and the false prophet (Rev.16:13-14,15-16;  2Chron.18:21);

In this way, those with a strong hold and love for scriptural truth, could still survive such times (2Pet.1:19; Rev.22:16; 2:25;  2Pet.1:19), so that they do not perish along with those without such a firm hold and love (Rev.2:4;  2Thess.2:9-10,11-12;  2Pet.3:17).

 "I don't think God wants us to have anxiety over learning or pleasing him anymore than I'd have wanted my own children to have anxiety over pleasing me. The anxiety aspect is a trigger for me Pearl....I was born in fear and anxiety about Armageddon and God judging and destroying me for every little thing i did or thought. I was around 40 before I shed the majority of this deep terror. God is love...God knows our hearts....if we are righteous inclined and abhor Evil there should not be a feeling of anxiety....however, I understand the context in which it's stated in scriptures you quoted and it suggests it's more focused on the anointed given the huge task each has. That's not to say nothing non-anointed take God's kindness for granted and/or not take in knowledge."

My Reply:
Paul said at  1Cor.7:34
"34 A virgin is anxious about the affairs of the Lord, so that she may be holy in body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world, that is, about how she can please her husband. 35 I’m saying this for your benefit, not to put a noose around your necks, but to promote good order and unhindered devotion to the Lord."

We know that those who comprise the Bride of Christ, are, spiritual virgins. At 2Cor.11, Paul said of them; "2 For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." (2Cor.11:2-3)

If such "virgins" are to remain chaste, they do need to be anxious about the affairs of the Lord, and how they will please him. Paul said that he even had fear for those candidates, and the spiritual danger they were in (2Cor.11:28). They need to be vigilant and concerned about obeying Jesus, thereby remaining in his love.
As Jesus said...
9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love." (John 15:9-10).
There are so many scriptures that discuss the need for endurance, courage, and diligence. To practice such character traits, we must have love, vigilance, deep concern, drive, and even anxiety if we hope to stay motivated in displaying those qualities.
It is not an easy path amid all the persecution from Satan, to remain obedient and productive in Christ. If we had a relaxed attitude about it, we would never, ever, reach our goal.

Spiritual abuse and fostering fear of men (which is what the WT actually fostered), is not of God. Having that history in our lives, does require sorting out. But does it mean taking on a sense of peace and security?
Jesus himself said;
"28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna." (Matt.10:28).
There is no way out of the fact that Satan is out there, wanting to devour those inclined toward everlasting life. This is, a matter of life and death. Anxiety is in order... even anxiety about being found faithful. -- Of course I do not want to trigger fears that are unfounded (such as about the GT and Armageddon, as taught by the WT).

....But I also do not want to give a false sense of security with God, because the days ARE wicked, and we are in great danger spiritually (Eph.5:15-16,17). I really don't see how, without any anxiety, we will rise to this occasion. It is not only for the anointed, because Jesus said to teach our hearers to learn, follow, and do, all that he commanded us (Matt.28:20).
If I were not anxious about pleasing God and Christ.... trust me.... there would be no Blog to read. There would be no proper food at the proper time. Each post is a test of determination and stamina, amid all manner of resistance. Without spirit,  I would not be able to do anything. Satan can cause a lot of suffering toward those who are working with Christ to take down his world dominion. If the faithful were anything less than anxious about pleasing God, you could forget it.

This applies to the Bride members:
"30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who *fears* the Lord, she shall gain praise.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her in the gates." (Prov.31:30-31)

There are no "works", ...no praise due...
without a fear of letting God down.
Satan sees to it that faithfulness is as hard as God allows it to be. Accomplishing the will of God under those circumstances, requires more than the usual desire or wakefulness. We are at war, and so are you.

The usage of the words "fear and trembling" is presented this way: "used to describe the anxiety of one who distrusts HIS ability completely to meet all requirements, but religiously does his utmost to fulfill his duty". The next verse ( Phil.2:13 ) verifies that the work wouldn't be done, unless we rely on God working within us - pleasing Him, instead of ourselves. Divine Judgment toward Victims

Hello Pearl,
May I ask a question please?
How can a person who has been violently abused and traumatised since childhood find God or Jesus? In a situation where the word 'Father' is synonymous with violence and trauma how can that kind of damaged soul find a relationship with the Creator? How can a child that's experienced extreme violence from his natural parent and as a result is unable to form normal bonds with humans learn to love God and form a relationship with him?
How does a blind and deaf person find God and Jesus?

My Reply:

Dear Chi,
I would first like to tell you that all victims of abuse have their own unique experience, and their own unique response to it (Prov.14:10). While I do not equate my own experience with that of another, I tell you that I myself have been a victim of multiple forms of abuse, since infancy. That situation included a disturbed father, who afforded me little resource to accurately or realistically, conceive of God. I hope that my limited drawing upon that experience within my reply, will afford us some supplemental resource in addressing your questions, in combination with the wisdom of God found in scripture.
Please read each of the scriptures, preferably as you come to them. The greatest portion of wisdom and knowledge contained in my reply, is within them.

When facing trauma, each person has unique internal and external resources to draw upon, as well as their ability to optimize each resource, when being subjected to abuse.
For this reason, we can only speak in generalities. One strategy which may salvage the healthy development of one individual, may prove useless to another victim. One trauma that destroys an individual, may prove manageable to another.
God is fully able to make an estimation of each person's heart (Prov.21:2; Ps.33:14-15;  1John 3:20). He knows exactly what each individual is capable of, what violence and injustices they have been subjected to, how their spiritual development was effected, and how their coping strategies are sourced in either goodness, wickedness, or ignorance.
He holds us each accountable, accordingly (Luke 12:48). He can view and judge each heart as good or bad, no matter what the psychological damage or physical limitation (Prov.24:12).

With these realities established, I will respond.
Firstly, there is no trauma that can create an impenetrable barrier between us and God (Rom.8:35,38-39).
God knows the spiritual capacity of each person, even before that personality crystallizes (Ps.139:16). He keeps each persons limitations in mind, when appraising their spiritual capacity and need (Ps.103:13-14; 78:39; 136:23; 51:10;  1John 3:20).
Acts 17:27 reads;
"God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him,
though He is not far from each one of us."
(Deut.4:29; Jer.29:13; Ps.65:2)
But then, how can any mortal, truly perceive, appraise, and draw close to God?
(Rom.11:33; Job 36:26;  1Cor.2:16)
We are all limited, and cannot fully know God on our own.
But what may cause an abused child, to turn toward God, and search Him out?
How can a child who knows nothing about the creator, "find Him"?

Each child does have
themselves,
their experience,
and the environment around him.
God exists and can be found, in all three (Rom.1:20).
"He is not far off" from anyone (Acts 17:27).
The very essence of God, is love (1John 4:8,16).
Children can recognize and assimilate qualities of goodness, mercy and love from examples around them, even if that mercy and love is not given to them personally.
Whether a child learns in school about how birds care for their young... sees a mother cat caring for her kittens... feels the warmth afforded by a blanket, their hunger appeased by a morsel... sees sunlight streaming in through a window, or a breeze in Summer...
God's love reaches us all (Matt.5:45). We all and each observe or experience... need, mercy, satisfaction, and generosity. We all know, that kindness is good, and pain is bad. We all possess the power to cause, either.

The heart of each child, makes decisions about how they will cope. Coping choices become a part of that developing personality. Since Eden, every heart has the ability to perceive and choose between good and bad (Gen.3:22; Rom.2:13-14,15-16; Titus 1:15). When a child is subjected to, and feels pain; it knows that the perpetrator is acting selfishly and unlovingly. Children have an innate sense of justice, which presents them with a choice. Each child has the capacity to emulate hurtful behaviour, or to choose empathy and compassion through an innate ability to imitate God (Gen.1:26; 5:1; Col.3:10; Eph.4:24)... knowing personally through experience, that harm and pain result from abuse. God sees and responds to all those who are choosing righteousness and mercy (Rom.5:3-6; Jer.17:10) (Matt.5:7; James 4:6).
God's nurturing and protective spirit can see and reach such a child (Matt.10:29,31). That is my personal experience.
For those guarded by God's spirit, no abuse will be beyond their ability to cope with integrity
(Matt.6:13;  1Cor.10:13; Phil.4:13;  2Pet.2:9; Ps.37:28,33; 55:22; 27:10-11).

But now your third question introduces another issue. I will quote it to make that issue clear...
"How can a child that's experienced extreme violence from his natural parent and as a result is unable to form normal bonds with humans learn to love God and form a relationship with him?"

Although this verse is already cited above, I will quote it here:
"Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close. Teach me Your way, O LORD, And lead me in a level path Because of my foes." (Ps.27:10-11)

I personally believe that the present condition of humanity in general, is dysfunctional and corrupt, as is their capacity for true intimacy. Few if any people are unadulterated, healthy and pure... or possess a full capacity for loving relationships according to our original design.
That being said, I do realize that victims who have had their capacity to trust, shattered,
have been scarred and damaged excessively and sometimes completely, in comparison to that of advantaged humanity.
  Can you consider, that to such an individual, the love of God can be appreciated all the more?
Even if we are not presently healed of our damage or distrust, Faith in His healing, His goodness, and His faithfulness, provides us with comfort and hope (2Cor.1:3-4; John 14:27; Phil.4:7) even while we wait in hope for healing.
Upon what is such faith based?
God provides us with evidences and proofs, that His promises are reliable
(Heb.11:1-3,8,13; 10:23;  1Cor.2:9-10; Isa.64:4; James 1:12;  1John 5:14-15; 3:18-20).
These comforting assurances alone, are reasons to love God.

As 1John 3:20 above reads; "God is greater than our hearts".
His power to give us faith in Him, is greater than our experiences with our fleshly father. We learn that we need only to reach out to Him in our tribulation and post-trauma. He will not abandon us, but will lead us to Him, through Christ. We will see Him display Himself in our life and hearts. We can be made to stand before Him, through Him (Rom.14:4).
Both my husband and I suffered an extreme amount of neglect and abuse during our formative years.
This has certainly resulted in a perpetuation of pain to us both. But it has not resulted in an inability to develop faith and hope, nor an inability to be comforted by the promises of God.

All of us had no control over our development in our mother's womb.
When God chooses to cause a person to grow spiritually, we will grow also, in a way beyond our own control. All depend upon God to form a relationship with Him. In fact... no one grows to spiritual maturity, without the spirit, power, and grace of God. He is ever available, awaiting our search for Him (2Chron.16:9 A;  1Pet.3:12).
Although we may estimate a wide chasm between those abused and those not...
there is little difference to God between such persons. Both are dying and passing away, and both depend upon His mercy.
Both are easy for God to bless.

All this is not to say that there is never enough damage to prevent discipleship to Christ.
Does God not know this? Does God despise and reject such victims?
Psalm 51:17 reads;
"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise."

Can God not heal such victims, and welcome them into His new creation and Kingdom of peace?

The future of each person is in God's hands, and He renders each judgment, perfectly (Rom.9:14; Eph.2:4-5,6-7,8-9; Rom.8:18-19,20-21).

For those with a history of childhood trauma, and those not...
abuse and tribulation is ongoing in a Christian life (2Tim.3:12; Acts 14:22;  2Cor.4:8-9,10; John 15:18; 17:15). Although my traumatic childhood and young adulthood is behind me; abuses of my heart and spirit are ongoing. Some of that is by those who do not fully understand what they are doing. I must still endure such tribulation, injustice, reviling, slander, and pain. Yet we can remember, that Jesus was the pioneer of our faith, and suffered all these things and more (Heb.12:2). Victims of abuse can certainly find understanding, and relate to the life of Jesus. In him, we find an example of bearing up while enduring pain, even while keeping ourselves free of moral and spiritual corruption (1Cor.4:11-12,13; Rom.12:21).

Throughout each of our lifetimes,
we are presented with adversity...
opportunities to mature, and manifest who we choose to be...
whether victims or Victors.
That is the intrinsic power of free will,
which results in the identification of our own unique heart in the sight of God.

For those few who have been amputated of this most basic liberty,
God is judge. He is mercy and love, and can read the secret person of the heart (1Pet.3:4).
He certainly knows if we have done our best to reject wickedness and hurtfulness (Mark 12:31; Gal.5:14).
Regarding the blind and deaf...
A relationship with God is not seen with physical eyes or ears (2Cor.4:18).
It is seen with the heart, which is not beyond of the reach of God (Isa.59:1; Jer.32:17).
