Fire From Heaven

Fire from Heaven....
                              What is it?
                              What does it accomplish?
                              Who summons it?
                              Can it be falsified?
What is it?
"Fire" has been used to symbolize God's spirit and His truthful words (Jer.23:29; Heb.12:29; Ps.29:7; Rev.4:5; Deut.4:24; Ex.24:17).

That fire is not literal and physical, but spiritual (Ex.15:7; Deut.6:15). His words (Jer.23:29) were also compared to a "hammer" that "breaks stones/rocks to pieces (Rev.2:27; 12:5; Ps.2:9; 110:2; Isa.2:3; Prov.23:14; 3:12; Rev.3:19). As we see there, God can empower His servants ("Zion" -Rev.14:1), that they too can have the powers of His Word of Truth (Jer.5:14NIV ; Rev.11:3,5; Isa.24:6; Hosea 6:5; James 1:11; Jer.1:9; Heb.4:12; Rev.19:15; Luke 9:54; 12:49; John 12:48; Heb.1:7; Rev.14:18).

This symbolic "fire", compares well to physical fire. It can be used to destroy the lies of the false prophets (Hosea 6:5; Matt.24:51,50;  2Cor. 10:4; 6:7; Jer.1:10;  1Tim. 6:12; Matt.7:19; 13:30;  2Thess. 1:8;  1Cor. 3:13,15; Rev.8:5,7,8; Luke 3:17; Rev.14:16).
But "fire" can also cleanse and purify. The humble who are trained by the fire of Holy Spirit and it's Truth (Luke 3:16; Romans 12:20; Rev.3:18; Mal.3:3), can be adjusted, refined, and purified.

What does this fire accomplish?

There are only two choices for the Called and Chosen Anointed:
Remain in union with Christ, be refined, and bear fruit for salvation (John 15:5; Prov.18:20; Heb.13:15;  1Tim. 4:16)
(pearl-finetrees.blogspot.com)
Or, if they leave Christ (John 15:4-5; Col.2:19), they will eventually have their self-sourced work/doctrines, (OR the rotten fruit of the false prophets whom they follow -Eze.14:10; Rev.2:23), burned up by the spirit of the truth (John 5:31; 8:54; 7:18; 15:4,6; 16:13,14) (Zech.9:4; Rev.14:10).

Once the lies we may believe and teach, are exposed and consumed by Truth (Luke 8:17; John 16:8,13-15; Rev.1:1; 22:6;  1Cor. 3:13); we can either humbly be refined by that fire (Isa.48:10; Zech.13:9; Mal.3:1,2,3; Jer.9:7; Mark 9:49;  1Cor. 3:13,15;  1Pet. 1:7; Rev.15:2; John 15:3; Matt.7:24)
OR, suffer eventual destruction (Matt.3:12; 13:40; 25:41; 7:26; Luke 3:9;  2Thess. 1:8; Rev.20:9,10,15; 21:8).
                                                          -----------------------
We learn in God's Word that this battle of condemnation by fire, continues and culminates in the time of the end, by both genuine fire/Holy Spirit (truthful light), and by counterfeit fire/Demonic spirit (deceptive darkness --Rev.16:13)......
There is a true condemnation occurring (2Pet. 3:7,12; Rev.11:5; 16:8; 18:8), and a false condemnation occurring (James 3:5,6; Rev.13:13,15; 11:7), [and also a righteous judgment done by hypocrites, which occurs (Rev.17:16) due to God's will (Rev.17:17)]. Remember, the entire book of Revelation is symbolic. So is the "fire" mentioned within that book. If we remember this, we can gain accurate understanding (1Cor. 2:10,12,13,14; Eph.3:3,4; Luke 12:49; Mal.3:2;  2Pet. 3:12).

For those consumed by the spiritual fire of Truth, and the divine judgment which results, God's protection has been removed. They are then subject to blindness and death, from which results, they will not escape.

This brings us to
Who are those who have been given authority to summon "fire from heaven"?
(Luke 9:54) (Eph.2:6; 1:3; 4:8,7,11;  2Pet. 3:13; Heb.12:22-23; Phil.3:20).
There were three historical persons in the Bible who were able to summon  fire to come down from heaven.

These were Moses, Elijah, and Satan (2Kings 1:12,14;  1Kings 18:38; Num.16:11,28,35; Job 1:6,8,12,16). Power over fire from heaven, manifested that someone was being used for divine purpose. It also symbolizes that someone has received divine permission, empowerment, and authority, to condemn and destroy (Rev.20:9; 14:18; Eze.38:9,16,22; Luke 9:54; John 20:23). When this sign is expressed within Revelation, that is it's meaning.
            [note: Fire also came from heaven when Solomon
             inaugurated the Temple, displaying God's accord with it's purpose.
                                   (2Chron. 6:41,42; 7:1,2,3,4)]

Knowing these facts is a very important lesson; because the final "two witnesses" are associated in vision by Jesus himself, as represented by these same two prophets...Moses and Elijah (Mark 9:2,1,3,4). These also are personified in the "two witnesses" in the time of the end (Rev.11:3,4; Matt.17:11; Acts 3:21).

Like Elijah (and John the Baptist -Matt.17:12,13), they prepare God's people through repentance.
Like Moses, they also have power over plagues (Rev.11:6) and are assigned to release God's Chosen ones from captivity to the Wild Beast (Rev.13:7,10; 9:3,4,14), and the symbolic "City" (Egypt) within which, they are killed (Rev.11:7-8; 17:18,6).

What did Moses and Elijah use the "fire from heaven" for ?
That fire demonstrated God's judgment and disapproval upon his enemies,
and his favor upon Moses and Elijah.
The final two prophets use that symbolic fire (God's Word of Truth) similarly (Rev.11:5; Matt.10:20; Luke 12:12).
These two figures then, are agents of divine judgment, in the time of the end.

Can this power over fire be falsified?
Yes. We saw by means of scripture (Job 1:16), that Satan also has the literal power to bring down "fire from heaven". This recorded fact in God's Word confides to us that Satan also has the power to use symbolic fire, along with the same consequences....
the false appearance that one has been judged, and has lost God's favor.
Do other scriptures bear this out?

Satan did do this... to the poor man Job; and as a result, this faultless man was condemned by his associates
(Job 2:11; 4:1,7,17; 5:1,2; 8:1,3,4,6; 11:1,3,4,5,14,15,20; Eze.22:9; Ps.35:15; Jer.6:28;  2Pet. 2:3;  1Cor. 4:13; John 16:2; Isa.66:5).

When we read that the False Prophet has the ability to "cause fire to come down from heaven" (Rev.13:11,13), do you think God ("heaven") is giving that false prophet power to judge others by truth and in righteousness?;
OR, do you think that Satan is empowering the "two-horned" false prophet (counterfeit "two witnesses") with the ability to render a  false condemnation of the righteous?
(Rev.11:7,8,9,10; 13:15; 6:9,10,11)
This "fire" comes "from heaven", because the point at which the false prophet receives this power; Satan has not yet been completely removed, and is still "waging war" with the "woman's" seed (Rev.12:3,4,8,13,17). He is not cast down (loses his heavenly authority) until this counterfeit fire is fully used against those righteous ones "killed" by it (Rev.11:7; 6:9,11; John 16:2; Mark 8:35), by which faithful deaths and testimony, he is cast down (Rev.12:10,11; 13:13,15,4).

According to scripture, both God and Satan have the power to condemn. This power of Satan is amply demonstrated against all anointed, including Christ (Matt.26:65; Heb.13:13; 12:2; 11:26;  1Pet. 4:14,16; Rom.6:5; Matt.5:11; John 16:2; 15:21; Acts 5:41; 28:22; Mark 13:13).
We are plainly told at Rev.12:10, that Satan is known to be "the accuser of our brothers"! He is a false accuser/condemner. How does he manifest those accusations in the physical world? Of course, through the false prophet who is the messenger of his false condemnations (Rev.16:13; 9:1). That counterfeit "divine condemnation", is represented by "fire from heaven".

So as is clear, yes, "fire from heaven" can be falsified, when it condemns the righteous to "death" (Eze.13:19; Jer.23:17,14; Rev.11:8). This is what the false prophet is enabled to do (Rev.9:1; 13:13,15; 6:9,10,11; 11:7,8,9,10) by means of Satan's ability (Job 1:12,16; Rev.13:2; 11:7; 9:11,1) to falsely condemn the righteous, causing counterfeit, symbolic "fire from heaven".

We are told that God will destroy the world by means of "fire" (2Pet. 2:5; 3:6,7). The target of this fire is called the "heaven and earth which are now" (2Pet. 3:7,12,14,17) and are identified as those who teach lies against the work of God's agents (2Pet. 2:1,2,3,9,10).
(Jer.23:31,26,21,22,16,17,15; Rev.8:11).
The wicked are condemned by means of an unfavorable judgment according to Spirit and Truth/Fire. (Both are sourced "in heaven"--"fire from heaven")
          [The Truth is the rod of measurement (Rev.11:1;  2Tim. 3:16), to which all must measure up (Amos 7:7-8; Isa.28:17; Zech.4:10).
            The 144000 do "measure up" to that standard. (Rev.21:15,17; 14:5; Eze.43:16)]
            (The meaning of 12, 144000, and 6, can be found at pearl-666.blogspot.com)
That final judgment by means of genuine Truth/Fire, comes through the testimony of the final "two witnesses" (Rev.11:5). Their message of Truth/"fire", is from heaven (Eph.2:6; Rev.11:4; Jer.5:14NIV ; Matt.10:20).
For those who are judged by this genuine "fire from heaven", these will not receive divine protection when Satan brings destruction.
                                                 ______________________

Satan is the Destroyer....not Christ or the Father (John 10:10; 1:4; John 5:40; Ps.36:9).
This world will end  by means of the Devil  (Rev.12:12; John 8:44; Heb.2:14).
The Devil is the original possessor of the "key to the abyss" (authority) over death (Heb.2:14).
                                   (pearl-leviathan.blogspot.com)
Once Christ died faithfully, Jesus acquired that authority (and it's symbolic "key")
(Heb.2:14,15; Rev.1:18;  1Cor. 15:55)
Satan's work is lies and murder (John 8:44). Jesus can now undo both (1John 3:8; John 12:31; 16:11)

Satan the Devil is the Destroyer, not God (Rev.9:11; John 10:10;  2Sam. 24:16;  1Cor. 10:10; 5:5; Ex.12:23; Isa.33:1) (Heb.2:14).
Satan's Sons are "sons of destruction" (2Thess. 2:3; John 17:12; 6:70).
When Satan knows his "short period of time" has expired (Rev.12:12; 20:3; Matt.24:22), he will do what he does best.

Only those few who are unmarked by the Beast and *have God's favor, will survive the end*...
and not be under the Covenant with Death/Babylon the Great (Isa.28:15; Rev.17:5; Matt.7:14; Rev.13:8).
*(All of Psalm 121; Psalm 28:7; 3:3; 13:5; 16:9; 18:2; 91:1,2; 18:2; 61:3; 146:3; Prov.18:10; 14:26; 29:25;  2Sam. 22:2; Joel 2:32; Rom.10:13) (Rev.13:8; 20:4)*

(pearl-leviathan.blogspot.com)

The wicked who are empowered with "fire" by Satan, so that they may falsely condemn and "kill"
(Rev.9:1; 13:1,2,4;  2Thess. 2:3,4,9,10,11,12;  2Cor. 11:14,15)
are certainly able to make the righteous appear condemned by God (Rev.13:13).
This occurs in our day, when a public announcement is made ("in sight of men"/"in full view of the people") that falsely condemns a faithful one (when they are  disfellowshipped). All who hear this announcement take it to mean a spiritual death and condemnation by God ("fire from heaven"). None who suffer this false condemnation by means of the Harlot's agent (Gentile Beast), can successfully resist it (Rev.13:4,15; 11:7).
Satan's seed (John 8:44) were even able to condemn Jesus Christ in this way (Matt.26:66; Jer.26:11; John 19:7; Deut.21:22).
The faithful will "follow him, wherever he goes" (Rev.14:4;  1Pet. 2:21; 4:1,13; Matt.16:24; Acts 14:22; John 14:29,30; Heb.13:13).

Dear Gabriel,
I hope this answer helps to satisfy your question.
Please feel welcome to write me about any need.
Love,
Pearl

More Counterfeit Signs?

updated

QUESTION:

You said on your blog: "In fact, Satan is intentionally creating a counterfeit fulfillment of prophecy, knowing that this deception will mislead many anointed "stars" into "falling from heaven"

Does this not mean that as we get close to the Kingdom's birth, that Satan will make the false prophets lies come true so anointed are fooled?
We haven't seen any of her prophecies come true, but if she is to have any credibility, then things like the "UN getting teeth" etc. must in some way come true.

MY REPLY:

Those who put faith in physical signs, are already fooled (https://pearl-sign.blogspot.com)
It certainly seems possible that Satan could fabricate more counterfeit fulfillment of prophecy within his own world (1John 5:19; Matt.4:8,9).
But I think of prophecies
which also contain God's words, that He will make these false prophets look like fools, by preventing confirmation for their predictions.
Here are some scriptures to consider....
Isa.44:24,25,26; Prov.22:12;  1Cor.1:19; Jer.5:11,12,13,14; Zech.1:6;  2Chron.18:20,21,22;  2Thess.2:11;  1Tim.4:1; Rev.13:14; 16:13,14.

God certainly allows the false prophets to teach lies and lets the proud be mislead by them
(1Kings 22:21,22,23; Jer.5:31; Eze.14:10; Matt.15:14;  2Tim.3:5).
Rev.13:13,14,15 says that the false prophet (that is dominating the Chosen Ones) can "make fire come from heaven" and that it is this sign, along with giving the Org./Beast the appearance of being spirit-breathed/directed, which are the two counterfeit signs that God deems significant enough to record for us. (Fire-from-heaven)

The "fire from heaven" is a reference to Elijah (2Kings 1:10). That fire displayed that Elijah had God's backing, and he was able to condemn and destroy apostates with it.
This sign is fabricated by the false prophet against those loyal to God
(Rev.13:15; 17:6; John 16:2; Rev.6:9; 11:7; 12:11)

What about the claim of being "God-breathed" or, "spirit-directed"?

"We will also increase our joy if we prayerfully and diligently study God's spirit - inspired Word and Christian publications prepared under the spirit's guidance." Watchtower 1992 Mar 15 pp.21-22
"When the time comes to clarify a spiritual matter in our day, holy spirit helps responsible representatives of the faithful and discreet slave at world headquarters to discern deep truths that were not previously understood. (Matt. 24:45; 1 Cor. 2:13) The Governing Body as a whole considers adjusted explanations. (Acts 15:6) What they learn, they publish for the benefit of all."Watchtower 2010 Jul 15 pp.22-23

Here are the baptism vows at the time of this publication:
Watchtower 1985 June 1 p.30
(1)  On the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, have you repented of your sins and dedicated yourself to Jehovah to do his will?
(2)  Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in association with God's spirit-directed organization?

These two counterfeit signs of the false prophet (Rev.13:11), are already fulfilled....Are they not?

Those two are the signs that matter, because they were the ones Satan needed to use, to mislead the Chosen.
These two seem to be enough to keep blinded followers in captivity today, even if the other doctrines about the world do not come about.
It seems that "J.W.'s" are willing to just keep waiting for those other "predictions".

Yet there are many even among Chosen Ones outside the Organization who have fallen for these false physical "signs"
(Matt.16:4;  1Thess.5:2,4; Luke 17:20,22,23,24; Psalm 97:4,11; Luke 12:40,37; Matt.25:10; 22:8,9; Rev.19:9;  2Cor.4:18; Matt.24:42).
These will miss out on the spiritual feast of the accurate spiritual interpretation (1Cor.2:7,10,12,13,14).
These mislead Invited ones, teach and preach interpretations not found in scripture, effectively aiding Satan in distracting their hearers from the genuine spiritual (and scriptural) interpretation of prophecy (Gen.40:8; Rom.3:4; John 16:13,14; 17:17; 8:47; Eph.6:17).

If God does allow Satan to fabricate a fuller counterfeit, then we will see more of those misleading physical signs.
(pearl-anillustration.blogspot.com)
(pearl-laborpains.blogspot.com)
(pearl-sign.blogspot.com)
But I balance such an expectation with Isa.44:25 also.

I am happy to see that you are still studying and digging for the treasure of understanding.
Keep asking.

NOTE:
I apologize again for thinner provisions as of late. Prayers are appreciated.

No Rain

At Rev. 11:5-6 we read of the two witnesses (Rev. 11:3);
"5 And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. 6 These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire."

According to the "Revelation Climax" book 2006 printing, pages 165-166 shown below,
those trying to harm the two witnesses, are interpreted as other religious organizations claiming to be Christian (termed by Watchtower as "Christendom").

The "fire from heaven" is claimed to be a 4-page Watchtower publication called "Kingdom News" along with other publications which would "expose Christendom's spiritually defunct condition". The drought caused by a lack of rain is interpreted to mean that the Jehovah's Witness organization exposes the "spiritual drought" of those other churches, meaning, a lack of spiritual waters.

Although some scriptures are offered to support the role of Moses and Elijah, fulfilled by the two witnesses; none of the scriptures provide the exact interpretations offered...
Specifically,
- that those seeking to harm the two witnesses are the churches of Christendom
- that the fire from heaven consists of Watchtower publications, notably "Kingdom News"
- that heaven being shut and the lack of rain, is the Watchtower's unveiling of a lack of spiritual waters available in other religions.

What I desire to publish in this post, is what the scriptures reveal as to the interpretation of Rev. 11:6 as I ask you to focus your attention on that verse's phrases, "These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls during the days of their prophesying".
As readers of this blog know, I always strive to offer scriptures for interpretation. The source of interpretative doctrine belongs to God (Gen. 40:8). This is the example of Jesus (John 12:49) and he should be our guide (John 16:13; 8:47).
So, lets take a tour of scripture to see what God's Word has to say about heaven being shut up, so that no rain falls.
(Italicized and bold words are the scripture)(Words in brackets are mine)

Deut. 11:17 "Then the Lord’s anger will burn against you, and he will shut up the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and you will soon perish from the good land the Lord is giving you." (God promised the good land to His own people)

1Kings 8:35 "
“When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because your (God's) people have sinned against you, and when they pray toward this place (God's temple) and give praise to your name and turn from their sin because you have afflicted them..."

2Chron.7: "11 When Solomon had finished the temple of the Lord and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the Lord and in his own palace, 12 the Lord appeared to him at night and said:
“I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices.
13 When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." (remember Mal. 4:2)

What we learn from God's Word...
(Rom. 3:4; Matt. 15:9;
1Cor. 1:25)
...is that when the heaven is shut so that no rain falls, it is because God's own people are being disciplined by God. Such discipline arrives due to their wickedness.

Please consider additional scriptures regarding God's own interpretation of His own prophecies:
Isa. 5:1-2,3-4,5-6,7 ; Jer. 3:1,2,3 ; Eze. 22:18,23-24,25-26,27-28 ; Zech. 14:17 ; James 5:17; Mal. 4:5; Ex. 9:33; Rev. 11:6

If you would like a link to read them:

What does it mean that heaven is shut, or opened?
Heaven is the source of God's gifts
(James 1:17; John 4:10;
1Cor. 14:1,12,37; 12:4; 1:7; 2:10; Mal. 3:10).
When heaven is opened, spiritual gifts of divine wisdom and understanding are offered to the humble and righteous (Heb. 6:4). This happened to the apostle John when he was graced with the scroll of Revelation (Rev. 4:1; 1:19). The two witnesses also have heaven opened to them (Rev. 11:12) as did Stephen (Acts 7:56).
Eze. 1:1; Matt. 3:16; Isa. 11:2
When the heavens are shut, access to divine spirit and truth is blocked.

We are told at Rev. 3:7-8...
"These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. 8 I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name."

Jesus has the power to open the minds of the faithful to heavenly truth (Luke 24:45; Col. 2:2-3).
Jesus spoke of this ability to bestow wisdom,
at Matthew chapter 13:
"11 He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. 12 Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 13 This is why I speak to them in parables:
“Though seeing, they do not see;
    though hearing, they do not hear or understand.
14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:
“‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
    you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
15 For this people’s heart has become calloused;
    they hardly hear with their ears,
    and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
    hear with their ears,
    understand with their hearts
and turn (repent), and I would heal* them.’
(*again, Mal. 4:2;
2Pet. 1:19; Rev. 22:16)
16 But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.
35 So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet:
“I will open my mouth in parables,
    I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”

The "hidden" sacred secrets are opened by Jesus, who holds the authority and power over those symbolic keys. He can open perception of divine secrets (John 1:51; 3:34-35; Col. 2:2-3).

As we can see from scripture, the symbolic opening of heaven is associated with symbolic rain.
Deut. 28:12;  Ps. 78:23;  Mal. 3:10
At Isaiah 45:8, we learn more about the meaning of rain...
  “Rain down, you heavens, from above, And let the skies pour down righteousness; Let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation, And let righteousness spring up together. I, the Lord, have created it."

So, just as we see the sky, clouds, and rain are all associated with one another in a literal way;
being blessed and granted to have divine wisdom is associated with and even vital for, having righteousness and salvation.
Our eternal life depends upon our salvation, through divine wisdom (John 17:3,17). That wisdom and spirit, are found in God's Word (Prov. 2:6; Ps. 119:105,130; James 1:5; Eph. 6:17; Heb. 4:12). Holy Spirit is the source of these things. Spirit is found... not in teaching sourced with men, but in the teachings of Jesus Christ (John 6:63).

If God's own wicked people repentantly return to Him, He can change the thirsty ground of the heart (Matt. 5:6; Isa. 55:1-3; Rev. 22:17).
Isa. 35:
"6 Then the lame shall leap like a deer,
And the tongue of the dumb sing.
For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness,
And streams in the desert.
7 The parched ground shall become a pool,
And the thirsty land springs of water;
In the habitation of jackals, where each lay,
There shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
8 A highway shall be there, and a road,
And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness.
The unclean shall not pass over it,
But it shall be for others.
Whoever walks the road, although a fool,
Shall not go astray.
9 No lion shall be there,
Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it;
It shall not be found there.
But the redeemed shall walk there,
10 And the ransomed of the Lord shall return,
And come to Zion with singing,
With everlasting joy on their heads.
They shall obtain joy and gladness,
And sorrow and sighing shall flee away."

Rev. 11:6 is telling us, that within the scenario of Revelation,
it is not "Christendom" that gets exposed for a lack of holy spirit, righteousness, and teachings of salvation. It is God's own people, in the time of the end.

Cut Down and Thrown into the Fire

QUESTION RECEIVED:
(I have inserted the scriptures)
Matthew 7:19 says "Every tree not producing fine fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire." When does this happen?  Perhaps the elephant in the room here is the Watchtower organization.  It claims to be solely producing fine fruits.  There's no doubt that it has stated "truths" that they have walked back on... which would not be considered "fruit that remains."
(John 15:16; Matt.24:35; James 1:17; Rom.3:4; John 1:14; 17:22,8; Matt.10:20; John 7:16-18; 8:47)
However, they still produce fruit and have not been "cut down and thrown into the fire."  What does this speak to the WT's validity as a tree producing fruit?"

MY REPLY:
Please read the scriptures as you come to them.

Remembering that these trees and fruit are symbolic;
Their being "cut down" and "thrown into the fire", is also symbolic.

Matt.7:19; John 15:6

The Bible tells us what this punishment means, how it happens, and even when.
If we understand these symbols of being "cut down and consigned to fire",
we become equipped to discern, if and when, that judgment is taking place.

Mercy and patience can first be shown: Luke 13:6-7,8-9
The cutting down and being thrown into the fire can be a healing discipline,
to those humble enough to respond (Heb.12:11)
2Kings 17:13; Hosea 6:5,1; Zech.13:9; Eze.33:10-11
... to God's discipline, and repent:
Jer.6:6; Nahum 3:15; Joel 2:1-2,25; Rev.9:1-4,18; Zech.13:9; Rev.9:18,20
The unsealed "third", repent -Zech.13:9; Rev.9:18 ...proven by their martyrdom for truth
(Rev.9:18; 6:9,11; Mark 8:35; Rev.12:10-11; 11:7; Rom.6:5),
by which they become sealed/gain their soul.

Being "cut down", is done, through the testimony of God's prophets (Hosea 6:5).
That loss of standing in God's favor,
is a verbal, public exposure that contains God's condemnation from scripture and spirit.
  Being "thrown into the fire", is similar (Jer.23:29; 5:14; Rev.11:5; 20:9; Matt.10:20).
God's condemnation can come from prophets on earth,
even while that condemnation comes "from heaven",
because that is where the sealed and faithfully active anointed, reside in spirit
(Rev.3:21; Eph.2:6; Col.3:1-2; Rom.8:9).

So, the unfaithful trees that bear rotten fruit, are "cut down and thrown into the fire",
by their receiving divine condemnation (Ps.80:16)...
...sent through God's prophets who expose and condemn
(Eph.5:11; 2Thess.2:8)(John 20:22; Zech.4:6,11,14; Rev.11:3-4),
...by means of scripture (God's word of fire -Jer.23:29; 5:14; Rev.11:3-5).

If you read Rev.19:20; 20:10, you may note that the false prophet (rotten tree) and its Gentile beast organization, are "still alive" when being thrown into the Lake of Fire. This reveals that these entities can still be in existence to onlookers, even while receiving the condemning fire/judgment of God's Word, through God's prophets... which rebuke when unheeded, consigns them to spiritual death (Ps.80:16; Jer.26:4-6).
(Jer.5:14; Rev.11:5; 3:2,1; 2:21,20-21).

I have done my best to simplify and condense an answer for you,
but as you learn more of the whole picture and examine all the prophecies regarding this era
(as well as the Bible's interpretation of those prophecies and symbols);
you will see the reality of all these circumstances in greater and clearer detail.
The more you learn,
the more the whole picture of prophecy will fit harmoniously together, and make sense,
and the clearer it will become in your perception.

I hope this reply helps.
Love in Christ,
Pearl

Pillar of "Fire" and "Cloud"

A COMMENT I WAS SENT:

"I was thinking about the 1st tabernacle of God, and how the shekinah light and cloud have a representation today through Christ's true Brothers as temple members. Not from invited in general, but with those proving faithful. The faithful are like a pillar of fire, in that they preach the fire words of Jah that refine or consume the Invited who are stubble. As temple stones and the HS residing within them, the pillar of fire is seen through them. The truth/fire being revealed, proves they are true and faithful Temple members. Don't know about the cloud by day.
 I often wonder if at the sunset/sunrise, whether the change from fire to cloud was instant..or whether there was a short period where there was fire within the cloud. To see either would prove Jah was present there..but to see that change would have cemented He was truly there. Im sure there must have been faithful who appreciated what that manifestation really meant and made it a matter of attention to watch that change between cloud and fire. Im sure it created shimmering shadows in the night as real fire does.
 Just as that temple was a representation of the temple members today, Jah's fire words are manifested through faithful temple members."
----------------------------------------------------------------

MY RESPONSE:

Thanks for your thoughts about the original Tabernacle, and how wonderfully the spiritual one fulfills what was foreshadowed by the physical Tent of God (Ex.25:8,9; Acts 7:44; Heb.8:5,6; 9:23; 10:1) (1Cor.3:16; 6:19; Rom.8:9; Eph.2:20,21,22; Rev.21:3; Heb.12:22,23; Eph.1:3; 2:6) which is the "household of God" (1Tim.3:15; Heb.3:6; Matt.24:45; Eph.2:19,20; Amos 3:7; Rev.1:20; 10:7; Matt.5:17,18; 24:34).

You make a great point about the "fire" "for night" and "cloud" "by day" (Neh.9:19).
The night (darkness), is the world, ruled by Satan and his seed of disobedience (Eph.2:2).
(Luke 16:8; 1Thess.5:7; 1John2:11; Prov.4:19; 2:13; John11:10; 3:19; Job 18:5,6; Matt.25:8)

The faithful priests are the light of the world (Matt.5:14,15; Mal.2:7; 2Cor.5:18; 4:6,5; Acts 26:18; 1Pet.2:9).
They do not belong to darkness, or the night, or the world (1John2:15; Rom.12:2; Acts 26:18; James 4:4).
The day is for those who have been enlightened (1Thess.5:5; Prov.4:18; Heb.6:4,5; 2Pet.1:19; 2Cor.4:6; 1Pet.2:9).
Once sealed as slaves of God alone,
they are vessels of His Word of Fire
(Jer.23:29; 5:14; Rev.11:5; Matt.10:20).
That fire is to light up the night/darkness/world (Matt.5:14,15; Eph.6:12; 3:10).
Fire either refines or condemns and consumes
(Isa.48:10; 1Pet.1:7; Job 23:10; Rom.8:19; Mal.3:3,18; Zech.13:9),
depending upon the substance of one's deeds
(1Cor.3:13,12,14; Rev.3:18; 2Thess.1:7; 2Pet.3:7,10,12; Matt.13:30; 3:12; Luke 12:49).
Both the refining,
and condemnation (uncovering of hidden wickedness),
happen during the symbolic "night", while the undiscerning, sleep
(Luke 21:34-36; 12:37-38,40,45; 1Thess.5:2-4).

Why was the cloud seen as the manifestation during the day?
Because the cloud are the faithful who manifest the presence of God in His Holy Temple
   (Heb.12:1; 1Cor.3:16; 6:19,20; Rev.3:12; Ps.46:4; Rev.22:1,2; 10:1; Heb.1:11; 2Pet.3:7,13)
within which cloud of faithful angels/stars;
Christ manifests his return (Rev.1:7; Luke 21:27,28; Mark 13:26,27; 14:62; Heb.12:22; Dan.7:13; Matt.16:27; 2Thess.2:8; Acts 1:9,10,11; 1Thess.4:17; Rev.11:12).
These hold droplets of living water (John 7:38; Job 26:8; 36:28,29; 37:11,15,13; Mal.3:10; Ps.18:12; 77:17; 99:7) (Isa.4:5; 45:8) within which the light of Christ is reflected (2Cor.4:6; 3:18), into a rainbow (Eze.1:28; Rev.10:1). That rainbow contains God's covenant promise (Gen.9:13-16), to save from total destruction in the time of the end (Jer.31:11; Isa.48:20; Matt.24:21-22; Mark 10:26-27; Rev.7:10).

The identity of the cloud is only seen by those who are in "daylight". They can see the cloud by day, and the flashes of lightning within the cloud
(Ex.19:16; Luke 17:24; Job 37:3,11,12; 36:32; 38:34,35, (Isa.41:27);
Rev.4:5; 5:6; Zech.4:10,13,14; Rev.11:3,4) .

"Generation"

My reply to a letter:
When "generation" is referred to at Matt.24:34, it does not speak so much of a time, as it speaks of a result.
Please let me explain.
In other words, the Greek of "generation" is actually speaking of something which spirit generates, or creates.
The result of that action, is what is generated, created.
The "generation",
are all those who are born, or generated, from spirit.
(Here is a little background information: http://pearl-generation.blogspot.com/ )
There can be a righteous generation (Ps.112:2; 14:5), born of God's spirit (1Pet.1:23; John 1:13;  1John 5:18), with Him as Father (Eph.5:1; Matt.5:48; Phil.2:15);
or a crooked and twisted generation (Deut.32:5; Acts 2:40; Matt.12:39), born of Satan's spirit (Eph.2:2;  1John 3:12; Rev.16:13;  1Tim.4:1), with him as father (John 8:44; Isa.27:1 -lit. "coiling" = "'crooked and twisted' serpent").
(pearl-leviathan.blogspot.com)
Each of these "generations",
are the "seed" which come forth from the spirit of each "father".
They have existed from the beginning (1John 3:12; Heb.11:4), and will exist until the all prophecy concerning them, is fulfilled
(Gen.3:15; Jer.33:17-18; Rev.5:10; Heb.13:15; Matt.24:34).

And so,
by stating that this generation
(speaking of a particular created group -John 6:63; 5:21;  2Cor.3:6; 5:17;  1Cor.15:45; Rom.8:14)
will not pass away until all things occur;
Jesus was letting us know, that all things prophesied
about all Christ's Called Ones, both faithful "wheat" and unfaithful "weeds", will happen, before they pass away (Dan.12:7;  1Cor.15:24).
He also tells the "wheat", that he will be with them, throughout time, up until the end (Matt.28:20; 18:20). This also helps us to see, that if he is with each of them throughout time, up until the end, they exist throughout the years, up until the end. Therefore, the meaning of this righteous generation, is not about a group of contemporaries limited by a literal lifetime, but about a group known by their righteousness.
Jesus tells us Matt.24:34, because most of the prophecies about this group, will be undergoing complete fulfillment, without being so recognized.
Why?
Because,
 but for a few who find the road of truth to life (Luke 13:23,24; Matt.7:14); the "entire inhabited earth" (Rev.12:9), will be deceived by Satan's counterfeit "signs and portents" (2Thess.2:9,10) that lead to idolatry (Rev.13:8). Satan will fabricate a counterfeit fulfillment of prophecy, using his only resource.... his dominion over the physical world around us (1John 5:19). Jesus does not want his Called Ones to be misled by the agents of Satanic deception
(Matt.24:24,25;  2Pet.3:17; Rev.12:15; 16:13;  2Cor.11:3,4,20,13; Rev.2:20; Luke 21:36)
(1Tim.6:20,21;  2Tim.1:13,14;  2Cor.10:5).

Instead of this "generation" "overlapping" during the span of the last 100 years;
in truth, they have been overlapping since the first century.
The WT is so absorbed by their own importance, everything is interpreted from the narrow perspective of the period of their own existence.

Note what Jesus said in the very next verse (Matt.24:35)...
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away."
This is opened more by Matt.5:18...
"I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God's law will disappear until its purpose is achieved."
(Jer.1:12,11,13,14,15,16,17,18; Rev.10:11)

"Heaven and earth" are going to pass away.
2Pet.3:10-13 reads;
"But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells."

Of course, this destruction is not literal, but according to verse 7;
"By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
(Jer.23:29; Jer.5:14 NIV ; Rev.11:5; Matt.10:20; Jer.1:9; Hosea 6:5 NIV )
Also, the "new heavens and new earth" are spoken of where "righteousness dwells". Such righteousness is not found in the literal heavens and earth, but in the hearts of men.

So since all the "ungodly" (Called Ones who proved to be wicked slaves)
are to pass away; how will this passing away be recognized?
Remember....this refers exactly to what Jesus said,
"This generation will by no means pass away, until all things occur."
Yes...the "wheat" and "weeds" will not receive their punishment or reward,
until all things prophesied, the Great Tribulation and Armageddon included, are completed.
Jesus tells us this, because these Great spiritual events,
will go unrecognized by those "asleep"
(Rev.3:2,3; Matt.24:43;  1Thess.5:2,4;  2Pet.3:10; Rev.16:15).
These events will be declared as already fulfilled, by false apostles, even before the genuine end of the ungodly, arrives (2Thess.2:1,2,3; Dan.7:25).

I hope this helps to eradicate the lies we learned from the WT,
about "generation", as well as how the things written will actually be fulfilled among these two "generations".

Accusation of "Causing Division"

Below is an updated section from this previous post: http://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2013/07/persecution.html
It pertains to the present accusation being brought against any that speak up for Truth in the Congregation.

which now has the following updates:
-----------------------------------------------------

"Jesus wanted to divide truth from lies, so that the truth could be clearly discerned and followed. He never espoused unity with leadership, at the cost of Truth; but Truth over unity, and unity through truth.
For this (Matt.22:16; 23:13), Jesus suffered the condemnation of men, as an apostate (Matt.26:65). The Jewish leaders in covenant with God, looked to the Gentiles for support in dealing with Jesus (Matt.27:2; Isa.36:6; 31:1,3; Rev.11:8; Jer.17:5), just as the Ram/false prophet (Rev.13:11; Dan.8:4), relies on it's Gentile Beast. The first century Jewish leaders told Pilate that Jesus was perverting the nation from the true doctrine of Moses and the prophets (Luke 23:2); by spreading among them new notions, and false principles of religion; whereby he was a trouble maker of God's Israel, as Ahab charged Elijah (1Kings 18:17).
But in order to interest the Romans in executing Christ, they also accused him of "forbidding the giving of tribute to Caesar", which was a lie (Matt.22:21; 17:24,25,26,27).

We too, are falsely slandered, shamed, and "killed"...
 (Eze.22:8,9; Lev.19:16; Hosea 6:9; Rev.11:7,8,9,10; 6:9,11; Matt.5:11-12; John 16:2; Rev.6:9-10,11; Mark 8:35)
...accused of refusing to give due tribute to the Image of the Gentile beast Organization (Rev.13:15,8; 19:20).
The false prophet ("two horned" wild beast) uses it's power ("key"/"realm"), to sanction the "ten-horned" wild beast to "kill" on the false prophet's own behalf
(Rev.13:14NIV Rev.13:15 A; Rev.19:20NIV ; Rev.8:10,11; 9:1; Isa.28:15).
The authority and power of the false prophet/"two-horned beast", is symbolized as "fire from heaven" -Rev.13:13 (divine judgment)
LINK:("Fire from Heaven").
The two-horned false prophet empowers the Gentile Wild Beast with "breath" ("spirit-directed" Image) to be it's own instrument of judgment  and capital punishment [just as Jesus and God, genuinely do (John 20:22,23; Rev.11:11; Matt.10:20)].
(Rev.13:15 A; Dan.11:31; 8:11,12,24; Rev.13:7).
By imbuing the image of the Beast with "spirit", it appears to be "spirit-directed" by God, but it is not. It is directed by the spirit/breath of the false prophet, which is demonic (Rev.16:13,14).

Only Jesus Christ can breathe genuine Holy Spirit into his faithful chosen followers (John 20:22,23; 14:17;  1Cor.3:16; Eph.2:20,21,22), giving them the power to judge (Rev.20:4; Matt.16:19; John 20:23;  1Cor.6:2,3).

The faithful anointed are expected to follow in Christ's footsteps, including his shameful condemnation by the religious leaders of God's people (John 16:1,2,3,4; Heb.13:13; Rom.6:5; Phil.3:10;  1Cor.4:13;  2Cor.6:8 C; Rev.6:9,10,11; 11:8,9,10) and "execution" at the hands of Gentiles (Rev.11:7,10; 20:4).
LINK:("What is 'Jew'?. What is 'Gentile'?")
Do not expect Satan to let any faithful disciple (anointed or non-anointed), to slip by without being persecuted (2Tim.3:12; Luke 22:31). As with Job (Job 1:9,11,12), God allows this testing/sifting/cleansing/discipline (Amos 9:9; Haggai 2:7;  1Cor.3:13; Mal.3:1,2,3; Rev.3:18,19; Matt.3:11;  1Pet.4:1; Heb.5:8), to a responsive, symbolic "one-third" (Rev.2:9,10; Zech.13:9; Rev.9:15,20).

You are correct. Although it seems we face Satan's wrath alone (as Jesus felt while he was dying -Matt.27:46; 26:31); in truth, we are proving who we are, without any support or cheating (Matt.4:1; John 14:30; 16:33; 17:15). God's spirit does help us where needed, but the test is for us, and the reward is for our own faithfulness under test (1Cor.3:13; James 1:14;  1Cor.10:13; Rev.3:12,21). God can not do this for us. In choosing to take a righteous stand in our own heart and actions, for the God of Truth;
we prove whom and what we love, and which Master we choose to belong to, despite the adversity this brings. Nothing less is expected, of those who will be found faithful by Christ."

Armageddon / Timetable of Kingdoms

Rev.20:7-10
"Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from heaven and devoured them. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever."

From this we see that the end of the "Thousand Years" does not bring God's Kingdom immediately.
It brings the Great Tribulation and Armageddon, because this is when Satan is released to mislead.

This is the same Battle and war as Rev.16:13,14,16
*It is essential that you understand when the symbolic thousand year kingdom took place. We've heard it taught that it is yet future... after Armageddon. The Great Tribulation and Armageddon ensue upon Satan's release from the abyss.
To understand this better, please consider:
Upon Satan's release, demonic inspired lying doctrines, "gather them together to the battle/war" (Rev.20:8).
"And I saw three unclean spirits (pearl-666.blogspot.com) like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.  For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.  And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon."
By a comparison of Rev.20:8 and Rev.16:14,
we learn that the "spirits/exhalations of demons" are misleading demon-inspired utterances (1Tim. 4:1),
whose lying doctrines, when spread throughout the earth,
gathering opposing forces into the battle of Armageddon.

So between the end of the Thousand Years
       (during which the anointed previously enjoyed protection
            from Satanic deception, while he was "abyssed"
            -Luke 10:19; Rev.20:1,2,3;  1Pet. 1:5)
and the arrival of God's kingdom,
there is Satan's short period of time
(Matt.24:22; Rev.12:12; 20:3 -end of verse).

Initially, all God's chosen priests are overcome by Satan's lying doctrines and his agents of deception (Rev.13:11,15,7; 11:2; Dan.8:10,11,12,24,25; 11:31,36,37;  2Thess. 2:4; Dan.12:7).
Jesus takes action for the sake of the chosen (Matt.24:22; Dan.12:1; Ps.69:14,15; 144:7; 18:19; John 14:18), and just as the illustration of the "ten virgins" shows (Matt.25:1-13),
some choose to sustain their need for light with the spiritual commerce of the Beast (Matt.25:9; Rev.13:17),
while some wise virgins rather choose to enter the marriage feast with Christ (Matt.25:10; John 10:9; Rev.3:20).
These wise virgins choose to go out to meet the bridegroom (Matt.25:6; Heb.13:13) with lamps lighted with oil from their "receptacle" (1John 2:24,27).
For the five wise virgins, a wedding feast is served (Luke 12:37; John 15:15; 16:15).
The result?
During that time, truth will also become available (Dan.12:3,4), through the lamps of the wise virgins who are being fed by Christ (to counteract the demonic deceptions) (Matt.5:16,14,15).
These virgins, will sacrifice their life to be messenger angels of truth (Rev.6:9,11; Ps.15:1,4; Rev.22:17; 8:2,6;  1Cor. 14:8; Isa.58:1; Jer.6:17; Eze.3:17; 33:3; Micah 3:8,12) in the battle of Armageddon (Rev.12:7,11; 17:14; 2:12,16; Isa.49:2; Rev.19:15,11;  2Thess. 2:8; Rev.19:14,8).
By means of their witnessing (Rev.19:10; 22:16; 14:4,5; 20:4;  2Cor. 10:3,4,5; 6:7),
the judicial basis is established for the Kingdom of God to arrive (Rev.12:10,11).

Satan's target upon his release, are these last of the holy ones (Rev.12:17; 20:9)
("fire from heaven" --Rev.11:5; Eph.2:6; Matt.10:20).
Satan resists their witnessing to truth, by means of his demonic lies (Rev.12:15; 16:13,14,15,16; 19:19,20; 18:23,24;  2Thess. 2:9,10).
This spiritual battle between the agent messengers of Christ's truth, and the agent messengers of Satanic lies, is the essence of Armageddon (Rev.12:7; 17:14; 19:11,14; Heb.12:22-23; Luke 10:20).

During the war between truth and lies, Christ and Satan, and the armies of messengers of each side;
a sifting will occur, which will polarize the faith of individual Chosen ones, and cause them to decide to belong to one side, or the other (Joel 3:14; Isa.43:8,9; Dan.7:22; Matt.25:9,10;  1Cor. 11:18,19; Mal.3:18; Matt.7:20) (pearl-finetrees.blogspot.com).
This spiritual warfare facilitates the completing
       ("and the door was shut" -Luke 13:25; Luke 17:26; Gen.7:16;
          Rev.3:7; Matt.13:11;  2Thess. 2:10)
of the "harvests", as spoken of in Revelation chapter 14. (Rev.14:14-20)
The wheat and weeds have been growing to maturity, and have been identified and separated, all throughout this world (Gen.3:15;  1John 3:10,11,12,14). But this harvesting culminates with the final remnant of chosen ones, during Satan's freedom to mislead (2Thess. 2:9,12,10; Rev.2:4).
When the last chosen heirs are judged (based upon what they are teaching -Matt.12:36,37), this finishes the "harvest of the earth" (Rev.14:14-16), which is the "dried out" harvest of anointed wheat
(not the "vine of the earth" Rev.14:18; Deut.32:32,33; Joel 3:13,14; Jer.23:14; Rev.11:8 which are the teachings and followers of the poisonous vine -Rev.8:10,11).

Satan's Fall --- When?

Jesus told us when Satan fell from heaven, and how. It was not 1914, as a recent article by the "Watchtower" asserts.

"The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”
 He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions (Eze.2:6; Matt.23:33) and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” (Luke10:17,18,19,20)
Jesus seeing Satan fall in the first century, is in the past tense. Satan is the "enemy". He and the demons, then had to "submit" to the apostles. Now the apostles names were "written in heaven".
"Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me." (Matt.28:18)

While their work subjugated Satan and the demons (fall from heaven); the apostles replaced them in this raised position...
"And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus," (Eph.2:6; Rev.3:21)
Both Christ, and his faithful chosen ones, began ruling in the first century, for a symbolic "Thousand Years" (Rev.5:10; John20:23; Rev.20:4 --click to read whole verse). During the "Thousand Years", Satan was restrained from overcoming the light (1Pet.2:9; John1:5; Matt.5:14), by his being "chained" within the confines of darkness;... And his "heads" (Deut.28:13; Matt.4:8; Rev.17:9), unable to breach and trample the light (Acts5:29), among it's sons (John12:36; 1Thess.5:5) (Jer.5:22; Ps.74:13; Gen.3:15; Rom.16:20; Rev.20:2,3; 5:9c; Rev.7:9).
That restraint and trampling of Satanic deception, was initially accomplished by the work of Christ in the first century (John1:5; 16:33; 12:31; 1Cor.1:28; 2Tim.1:10; 1John3:8; Heb.2:14,15,16; John10:10; Rev.1:18; 20:1,2,3), and subsequently, the war between Truth and Lies continued, through the members of faithful "Zion" (Eph.6:12; Rom.13:12; Ps.110:1,2; Rev.14:1). The faithful were not overcome by darkness, during Satan's restraint (Matt.28:20; 2Cor.13:5; John12:35,36). When the "conclusion of the age" arrives (Matt.28:20); the final remnant ("remaining ones") are overcome, due to the fall of their leading steward/false prophet (Rev.16:13), and his releasing of Satanic deception for a "short time" ("short time" -- Rev.12:12; 20:3) after he receives the "key" to open the abyss of darkness (Luke12:42; Rev.8:10,11; 9:1,2,3,10,11; 13:15; 19:20; Jer.9:15; 23:15; 2:13; 7:13; 19:4; Dan.11:37,38; Rev.13:8). Those who are overreached (2Cor.2:11; 11:3; Luke22:31; 1Pet.5:8) by these "lying signs" (2Thess.2:9; Rev.13:15,2; Matt.4:9), must be released from their present captivity (Rev.12:17; 13:10,7), and also overcome the wicked one (1John2:13,14; Rom.8:37; Rev.3:21; 12:11)... no longer being deceived by his deceptions (1Pet.2:9; 1Thess.5:5; Eph.5:8) through the false prophet (wicked steward/harlot -Isa.1:21; Matt.23:34,35; Rev.18:24; John16:2; Rev.6:9,11) and it's Gentile Beast (Rev.13:15; 11:7).
(Mark10:42,43,44; Matt.24:49; 1Cor.15:24; Matt.23:12)

When Satan is released, the Great Tribulation begins, and the remaining ones ARE overcome (Rev.13:1,7,10; 9:1,2,3,10; Eze.2:6; 2Cor.12:7; Luke10:20) (Isa.5:5; Jer.9:7; 12:10,11; Eze.22:30; Jer.23:1,2; Dan.8:10,11,12,13; Luke21:24; Matt.24:15,16; Rev.11:2; 13:7,10; Zech.1:14,15,16), for a time (Rev.20:7; 13:1; 20:9; Luke21:20; Dan.8:12,13,14) (Rev.12:15,6; 11:3,5; Jer.5:14; Rev.20:9).
Their being overcome by Satanic deception, is the reason why when Christ arrives, they need to be refined (Mal.3:1,2,3; Rev.3:17,18; Zech.13:9; Rev.9:18,20,21; 8:7; 1Pet.1:7,8; Num.31:23; 1Cor.3:13,14; 2Cor.5:10; John12:48; Rev.20:12). A remnant will be refined by the fire of God's Word (Jer.23:29; Matt.3:11), when the spirit of Truth, arrives (John16:13; Rev.22:6; 1:1,2; 10:7).
After their release (John8:32; Luke4:18; Isa.49:9; Rev.18:4), they will battle at Christ's side (Rev.6:2; 19:11,14; 17:14; 2:26,27; 12:7; Dan.12:1,3; Phil.2:15; Eph.6:12; 2Cor.10:3,4,5; Rev.3:21; 5:10; 20:4,6; 2Tim.2:12) in the spirit of the truth (Rev.19:15; 3:14; John14:17; Eph.6:17; Heb.4:12; Luke10:19; 2Cor.10:5).
Once Satan was released from the abyss (Rev.20:7,8); the lying spirit of demons were released with him (Rev.16:13,14,15,16), and the Great Tribulation/Test  began. Satan and his agents seek out and battle against the Truth (Rev.17:14; 13:15,16,17,18,8,7) and it's agents (Rev.12:17,7; 20:9; 16:14; Mark8:35). The spiritual battle that results, is Armageddon.
