When does Satan "fall"?

UPDATED

Addition to: "What is God waiting for?"
as follows...

"Satan attained authority and power when Adam and Even sinned (Gen.3:13,16-17,18-19,23-24; Heb.2:14; Rom.5:12). He exploited the justice of God to achieve his own purposes (Gen.3:1-2,3-4,5-6; Matt.4:8,9;  1John 5:19; John 8:44). It was granted by God for Satan to rule this world (Rom.13:1; John 19:10-11), until a just basis could be satisfied to remove Satan's authority and power (Gen.3:15; Rom.8:20;  1Cor.15:22).

Satan must be conquered in order to re-establish the Kingdom of God over all creation, and to restore creation's freedom from sin and death. This is according to the requirements of God's justice.

If it were not necessary for Satan to lose his world dominion by means of God's justice, then God would not have subjected creation to cruel corruption, for nothing (Rom.8:19-20,21-22,23-24,25). But God is love (1John 4:8), and when He temporarily abandoned creation to Satan due to Adam's choice; it was according to His justice (Gen.2:16-17).
The establishment of God's Kingdom, and the fall of Satan, must also be by means of God's justice.
Why was Jesus Christ required to suffer and die?
 (2Tim.1:10; Eph.1:7; John 1:12; Heb.2:3-4,9-10,17; 9:26; Rom.5:17).

Satan's fall from power requires God's justice to be satisfied first...unless you believe that God is unnecessarily cruel, and wants us to suffer and die for no reason.
It was necessary for Christ to be faithful under test, if he hoped to dethrone Satan (1John 3:8; John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11,33; Heb.2:14). This conquering of Satan was necessary, before Jesus Christ could be crowned king over creation (Heb.12:2; Rev.3:21) in place of Satan.
The same requirement stands for all those called ones, who hope to join Christ and be sealed as a kingdom co-heir (Acts 14:22;  1John 2:13; Rev.12:11; Mark 8:35;  2Tim.2:12; Rom.8:17; Rev.3:21; Luke 10:18-19).

As you can see by the foregoing scriptures...Christ's faithfulness to death did cause Satan's fall from authority and power. Yet Christ does not rule alone (Rom.8:17; Gal.3:29; Rev.5:10; 20:6). Each and every heir must also conquer Satan (Luke 22:31;  2Cor.2:11;  1Pet.5:8-9;  1John 2:14; Rom.12:21; Rom.16:19-20; Rev.12:7; 17:14; 19:11,14,8).
It is their individual victories to be completed, that Christ and all creation await.
Each member of the 144000 must follow the footsteps of Christ (1Pet.2:21; Matt.16:24;  1John 2:6; John 14:6; Rev.14:4)...all the way to a faithful death for truth (Rom.6:5; Phil.3:10; Rev.6:9,11; 12:11).
Each of them must overcome the temptations, tests, and persecutions by Satan, before being declared victorious by their Master, Christ. Once the last of the remnant conquer the evil one, Satan's fall will be completed. At Rev.6:9,10 those already slain ask how long they must wait. The answer given is Rev.6:11. The last of them (remnant) must also conquer for the sake of truth, at the cost of their own lives. When the last of these fulfill this requirement of Satan's rightful demand according to God's justice, Satan's fall is completed (Rev.12:10,11).
Satan opposes letting go of his dominion over the righteous.
It is for this reason that he is permitted to test and accuse them,
and oppose their divine work as well,
until they prove their righteousness and submissive loyalty to God as Father (Luke 6:35; Phil.2:15).

In time, all God's children will be gathered and revealed (Matt.24:31; Rom.8:19), and the time will arrive to give God's Creation
back to the obedient...to inherit what God originally gave Adam (Gen.1:26-27,28; James 3:7), and then gave to Christ (Heb.1:2; Matt.28:18; Psalm 2:8; Mark 12:7; Col.1:16).
Those who belong to Christ will be heirs with him (Heb.2:7-8; Gal.3:29).
Once all the co-heirs prove faithful, Satan will then lose this long standing war against God's Will.
Satan will finally lose all authority and power,
when all God's enemies are subdued, and creation is returned to God by means of Christ (Ps.110:1-2;  1Cor.15:24-25; Eph.1:10).
God then gives it to the second Adam, Jesus Christ,
along with all those who have proven to be His children (1Cor.15:45; Gal.3:29;  1Cor.3:23).

Satan has powerful motivation to oppose God, His Will, and His messengers.
It is by means of them that he will be cast out, defeated, and removed.
Jesus Christ was the first man to completely defeat Satan, his temptations and sin, causing Satan to be judged.
Jesus provided the legal basis for Satan to be finally cast out,
after the harvest of wheat/co-heirs is completed with their own sifting/testing by Satan, and by their victory, attain life. (Rom.2:7;  1Cor.15:54,24,26; Rom.8:11; John 5:24;  1John 3:14; 5:13; Rev.2:10,11;  1Cor.15:55) (--Rev.9:10-11) "

How Does Satan Fall? [] Getting Sealed

QUESTIONS:

Regarding your explanation of "heaven"....I saw that meaning also, thank you – this is truly food at the right time. I think I speak for all when I say thanks for the solid food you passing over to us that holy spirit has blessed you with.
To be honest with you, it all makes sense but as we keep reading and searching for the precious truths more question arise.

1.  How does the scripture Rus brought up fit in with what you said? -( Luke 10:18 ) He replied, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven”

2.  And looking back at Rev 12 where exactly is she before she gives birth? To me it seems like she is in the presence of God together with the Dragon as he waits in anticipation for the male child to be delivered.

May Jehovah and his reigning King prove to be with you in these difficult times.

REPLY:

1.  I am happy to reply to these questions, because that which Jesus was expressing at Luke 10:18 was a reason for joy to both Christ, and to us today!
To appreciate why Jesus declared that Satan was "already falling" at Luke 10:18, we need to consider the context of that verse. I will insert scriptural verses to help define the meaning of it's phrases.
Luke 10:
16 He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.”
     (Matt.10:40,20;  2Cor.5:20; Rev.6:9; 20:4)
17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”
This tells us that when these "70" were in union with Christ ("in your name"), while they bore testimony/preached/bore witness...Satan and his demons were made impotent.
It was through their testimony in union with Christ, that Satan began to lose his power, and "fall" from "heaven". With each anointed one who joins the ranks of faithfulness, by means of unity with Christ and witnessing to truth even in the face of being condemned to death, Satan loses ground. (see Rev.12:11,10; 6:9-11; Mark 8:35)
Eventually, this spiritual war/enmity (Gen.3:15;  2Cor.10:3-5; Eph.6:12-13), will end in victory for Christ and his brothers (the "woman's seed"), when all 144,000 are completed (Rev.12:7,8,9; 6:9-11; 17:14; 21:7).
It is important to note at Rev.12:11, that the means by which Satan "falls", is the bearing
witness in union with Christ, even in the face of death. This takes us back to Luke 10:17.
Do you see that the demons lost power in the face of those who were preaching in Jesus' name?

The exact same spiritual weapon, makes Satan fall, at Rev.12:11.
Luke 10:18 "And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven."
(Rev.12:9,10)
Can you see that Jesus says the above in response to the news of the 70 who were sent out to preach? Here Jesus is telling us, that Satan and his demons "fall", by means of bearing witness in his name. This is confirmed at Rev.12:11,10.

In the spirit realm, God's will is accomplished by righteous deeds that satisfy His divine justice. Time as we know it becomes irrelevant in the spirit realm. The fact that the first 70 began their effective war against the world dominion of Satan, (and the fact that Jesus knew the eventual outcome), was enough for Jesus to declare the joyous results of this successful work of the woman's seed. When the remnant follow the same pattern of victory and the last of these are sealed.....Satan's fall from heaven is completed, as is all tests upon the integrity of the Chosen. The ground Satan stood upon within the heart of those not yet sealed, is gone. He can no longer accuse any of those called and chosen. For, the complete number of faithful are now tested, and victoriously sealed.
Luke 10:19 "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

Ahhh....here Jesus gives an unmistakable clue to the remnant....as to the end-time enemy they have been given power over. These "serpents" and "scorpions" are precisely the ones holding them captive during the great tribulation, while they are spiritually asleep....overcome by the "wine" of the Harlot's "adulteries".

If you consider Rev.9:3,5,10 , Matt.23:33 and John 8:44 then you will see the application. These "scorpions" who were given "crowns" of authority (Rev.9:3,7)(Eze.2:6) are the means by which Satan takes captive and controls the Chosen remnant, while they are yet UNsealed. At Luke 10:19 Jesus tells the remnant that they are released from the power of Satan's agents. This is confirmed at Rev.9:13,14.
Luke 10:20 "Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”
And now Jesus assures all anointed...whenever they may have lived...that when they are set free
from enslaved subjection to men, and ride forth to bear witness in union with Christ; they will share in Christ's condemnation, shame, and faithful symbolic death (Matt.22:6; Heb.13:13; Rom.6:5; Rev.2:10; John 16:2). They are then sealed!
(Their name is "written in heaven" Luke 10:20; Heb.12:23,22; Eph.2:6; Rev.12:5)
                  (also Rev.6:9,10,11; 19:8; 12:11.10; 20:4,6)

So... can you see why Jesus made that declaration at Luke 10:18, right after the first disciples bore truthful witness in the warfare against Satan's agents of deception?
(2Cor.10:3,4;  1Tim.6:12; Eph.6:12)
That war/enmity, is finally won with the last of the remnant, and is described in the book of Revelation.

---------------------------------------Now for your second question.............................................

2. And looking back at Rev 12 where exactly is she before she gives birth? To me it seems like she is in the presence of Jah together with the Dragon as he waits in anticipation for the male child to be delivered.

We are directly told where the woman is previous to the birth of her firstborn son,
Rev.12:1,2 read:
"Now a great  sign  appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. 2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth."

The woman is "in heaven". But remember, this woman is not yet made of people. She is a "sign"...a promise...a hope....a covenant (http://pearl-thewoman.blogspot.com). She is rightly seen in heaven, because this promise has authority and power. Why? Because this promise was decreed by Almighty God, at Gen.3:15 and Gal.4:26.
This "woman"/Covenant is not consciously in "agony to give birth"...but those becoming her on earth, are (John 16:20,21,22,23). Because of belonging to this mother covenant, they can feel the pain of bringing forth the kingdom, through the spiritual war they have with Satan (Rev.12:17; John 16:33).
They also love their mother ...so that they work under pain and persecution, to care for her needs (Rev.12:6; 11:3).

It is only after this promise is fulfilled (the woman gave birth to the full number/all sealed), that she is then seen on earth, in the same vicinity as Satan. This is because after the full 144000 of all anointed have been sealed (both the physically living and those physically dead)...the only living part of the fulfilled covenant/materialized woman/Jerusalem above...is the sealed remnant then alive ON EARTH...waging the war with Satan's demonic lies/earth (James 3:15).
I hope this is not too confusing. I am trying hard to be clear. Please let me know if you understand.

Thank you for your excellent follow-up questions,
Pearl

Satan's Fall --- When?

Jesus told us when Satan fell from heaven, and how. It was not 1914, as a recent article by the "Watchtower" asserts.

"The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”
He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions (Eze.2:6; Matt.23:33) and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” (Luke10:17,18,19,20)
Jesus seeing Satan fall in the first century, is in the past tense. Satan is the "enemy". He and the demons, then had to "submit" to the apostles. Now the apostles names were "written in heaven".
"Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me." (Matt.28:18)

While their work subjugated Satan and the demons (fall from heaven); the apostles replaced them in this raised position...
"And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus," (Eph.2:6; Rev.3:21)
Both Christ, and his faithful chosen ones, began ruling in the first century, for a symbolic "Thousand Years" (Rev.5:10; John20:23; Rev.20:4 --click to read whole verse). During the "Thousand Years", Satan was restrained from overcoming the light (1Pet.2:9; John1:5; Matt.5:14), by his being "chained" within the confines of darkness;... And his "heads" (Deut.28:13; Matt.4:8; Rev.17:9), unable to breach and trample the light (Acts5:29), among it's sons (John12:36; 1Thess.5:5) (Jer.5:22; Ps.74:13; Gen.3:15; Rom.16:20; Rev.20:2,3; 5:9c; Rev.7:9).
That restraint and trampling of Satanic deception, was initially accomplished by the work of Christ in the first century (John1:5; 16:33; 12:31; 1Cor.1:28; 2Tim.1:10; 1John3:8; Heb.2:14,15,16; John10:10; Rev.1:18; 20:1,2,3), and subsequently, the war between Truth and Lies continued, through the members of faithful "Zion" (Eph.6:12; Rom.13:12; Ps.110:1,2; Rev.14:1). The faithful were not overcome by darkness, during Satan's restraint (Matt.28:20; 2Cor.13:5; John12:35,36). When the "conclusion of the age" arrives (Matt.28:20); the final remnant ("remaining ones") are overcome, due to the fall of their leading steward/false prophet (Rev.16:13), and his releasing of Satanic deception for a "short time" ("short time" -- Rev.12:12; 20:3) after he receives the "key" to open the abyss of darkness (Luke12:42; Rev.8:10,11; 9:1,2,3,10,11; 13:15; 19:20; Jer.9:15; 23:15; 2:13; 7:13; 19:4; Dan.11:37,38; Rev.13:8). Those who are overreached (2Cor.2:11; 11:3; Luke22:31; 1Pet.5:8) by these "lying signs" (2Thess.2:9; Rev.13:15,2; Matt.4:9), must be released from their present captivity (Rev.12:17; 13:10,7), and also overcome the wicked one (1John2:13,14; Rom.8:37; Rev.3:21; 12:11)... no longer being deceived by his deceptions (1Pet.2:9; 1Thess.5:5; Eph.5:8) through the false prophet (wicked steward/harlot -Isa.1:21; Matt.23:34,35; Rev.18:24; John16:2; Rev.6:9,11) and it's Gentile Beast (Rev.13:15; 11:7).
(Mark10:42,43,44; Matt.24:49; 1Cor.15:24; Matt.23:12)

When Satan is released, the Great Tribulation begins, and the remaining ones ARE overcome (Rev.13:1,7,10; 9:1,2,3,10; Eze.2:6; 2Cor.12:7; Luke10:20) (Isa.5:5; Jer.9:7; 12:10,11; Eze.22:30; Jer.23:1,2; Dan.8:10,11,12,13; Luke21:24; Matt.24:15,16; Rev.11:2; 13:7,10; Zech.1:14,15,16), for a time (Rev.20:7; 13:1; 20:9; Luke21:20; Dan.8:12,13,14) (Rev.12:15,6; 11:3,5; Jer.5:14; Rev.20:9).
Their being overcome by Satanic deception, is the reason why when Christ arrives, they need to be refined (Mal.3:1,2,3; Rev.3:17,18; Zech.13:9; Rev.9:18,20,21; 8:7; 1Pet.1:7,8; Num.31:23; 1Cor.3:13,14; 2Cor.5:10; John12:48; Rev.20:12). A remnant will be refined by the fire of God's Word (Jer.23:29; Matt.3:11), when the spirit of Truth, arrives (John16:13; Rev.22:6; 1:1,2; 10:7).
After their release (John8:32; Luke4:18; Isa.49:9; Rev.18:4), they will battle at Christ's side (Rev.6:2; 19:11,14; 17:14; 2:26,27; 12:7; Dan.12:1,3; Phil.2:15; Eph.6:12; 2Cor.10:3,4,5; Rev.3:21; 5:10; 20:4,6; 2Tim.2:12) in the spirit of the truth (Rev.19:15; 3:14; John14:17; Eph.6:17; Heb.4:12; Luke10:19; 2Cor.10:5).
Once Satan was released from the abyss (Rev.20:7,8); the lying spirit of demons were released with him (Rev.16:13,14,15,16), and the Great Tribulation/Test  began. Satan and his agents seek out and battle against the Truth (Rev.17:14; 13:15,16,17,18,8,7) and it's agents (Rev.12:17,7; 20:9; 16:14; Mark8:35). The spiritual battle that results, is Armageddon.

The Beast "was, is not, and yet is"

Rev.17:8

The following additions were added to "Fact #5", in the blog LINK:  Satan's Throne
as follows:

Fact #5. Satan is using all the nations under his worldly power, to "bruise" the woman's seed.

How is Satan using his dominion over the Nations to harm the anointed today?
History has shown Satan, that outright physical persecution has not thwarted the faith and faithfulness of God's faithful slaves. Remember, he needs a stealth deception to ensnare them. How else can he use the worldly powers under his control?
He is maneuvering current events and developments to fabricate a counterfeit fulfillment of prophecy. Why? So that the "Woman's seed" does not perceive the spiritual interpretation, which will equip them to contend with the real threats they now face.
Rev. 17:8 (CLICK on to read entire verse) tells us, that when this Beast of persecution re-emerges, it's new disguise causes it to go unrecognized.
It seems to not exist anymore against the Chosen, Yet, it does.
Satan's deceptive power goes beyond the physical. This means he can do more than cause the physical distractions which deceive and kill. At Eph.6:12, it also called the woman's foes, "rulers of the darkness of this age". This is not a physical darkness, but a spiritual one. Yes...Satan also rules the spiritual climate of this world. He has spiritual power and influence. This too he uses against the woman's seed. He can bruise the seed with spiritual assault as well (Rev.12:15; 8:11). He rules the "darkness". Darkness is the opposite of the light. Light is truth. Darkness is deception. (John 3:21; 14:6; 8:12; 1:5; Psalm 43:3;  1John 1:6)
It is Satan's goal to cause irreversible spiritual damage to prospective members of the woman's seed.  Physical damage is of no use (Rom.14:8; Mark 8:35; Matt.10:28). As long as the Chosen belong to God and hold fast to their testimony; they contribute to Satan's fall (Rev.12:10,11; Rev.2:25; 3:11; 12:17).
Satan can only succeed in subjecting the Chosen Seed to him, if he does it through religious deception, baited with a few truths (Jer.16:14,15,16,17,18; Hosea 9:7,8; 5:1; Ps.124:7; 25:15; Ec.9:12; Matt.13:47; Eze.13:21; Jer.31:11,12; Isa.48:20; Rev.18:4).

Satan is "the angel of light" (2Cor.11:14). Those who in the end, do prove themselves to be the "woman's seed", will have triumphed over Satan's deceptive darkness (although having been bruised/trampled/thrown down -Rev.12:4; Zech.13:9). Only God can redeem them from this Great Tribulation at Satan's hand (Matt.19:25,26; 24:22; Rev.7:10; Jer.31:11; Ps.18:17).

For each one Satan is able to deceive with his final stealth attack, he can throw down from their heavenly position, swallow, and destroy. For every Chosen One who falls, and fails to remain standing before the throne of God; Satan has bought time for his worldly dominion to continue.

The most significant and relevant location of Satan's throne, is where his power sits over Jehovah's anointed ones. This is not a political or geographical place, but a religious "city"
(Rev.2:13; 17:18).
This is where Satan rules above the "kings of the earth", who should belong to Jesus
Rev.17:18; 9:11
(Rev.1:5; 5:10).

Iron and Clay

Rev.2:26,27.....The "Iron scepter" is for discipline, and is in reference to the iron in the feet of Daniel's image. That Iron is made of "Gentiles", just as the other "metal" parts of Daniels image are. These Gentiles are used by God, to discipline His wayward people. God's peoples of the past always recognized these Gentile powers as foreign, and they always recognized the discipline that come through these. But in the end, the last power is "different" ...and all this changes (Dan.7:23).
The last dominion over God's chosen people, becomes a dual power which contains a new element. It is no longer purely metallic. We are told that the last dominion contains "clay"/"mankind". We are told that this last power contains what becomes as "baked clay".
https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/search?q=iron+and+clay
The "pottery" of Rev.2:27 is the clay from that same image, which is no longer malleable. (Dan.2:33). Do you understand these things, and this authority that Christ and his conquerors have been given through their witnessing? (Rev.2:27; Dan.2:34,35;  2Cor. 10:4,5,6) They are not literally smashing people's bodies with iron rods, nor really killing them in any way, other than causing the judgment of God's Word to be passed upon their "stone" hearts and faces (Jer.23:29 B; Eze.36:26; Jer.5:3) (John 12:48; Rev.19:13; John 3:19).
[More info. on iron and clay: (LINK (See part B))]

When this judgment is passed on Daniel's image, this is not when Satan's entire "world" is judged (John 16:11; 12:31). That judgment began in the first century (Luke 10:18), and was by means of preaching Truth (Luke 10:1,3,16,17,19); not by literal instruments of execution. When the manifestation of Christ's presence arrives; the lightening which caused Satan's fall, will shine from out of the east (Rev.16:12; 12:10,11) all the way to the other extremity (Matt.24:31,27).
By means of this light, the wheat will be gathered into the storehouse, and the weeds will be "bundled"/sorted, for burning by fire (Matt.13:30).
When Daniel's image falls, and when Rev.2:27 is fulfilled, it is the judgment of all those who have ruled over God's people....the specific nations which have dominated them.
In the time of the end, those who dominate those in covenant with God are the "feet" of iron and clay. THESE are the ones "smashed". The result is that all power Satan has used to dominate God's people will be permanently and totally removed forever.
This has nothing to do with the judgment of all the world, including all the powers and dominions within it, that have NEVER had anything to do with God's people. That world was judged in Eden, and is already enslaved to death and is intrinsically temporary (Rom.5:12; 8:20,22).

The Image in Daniel is the antithesis of the Body of Christ, with Christ as head of that body (Col.1:18;  1Cor. 12:20; Rom.12:5).
Satan is head of Daniel's Image (Dan.2:37,38). Satan is symbolized prophetically by both Nebuchadnezzar and Pharaoh of Egypt. The powers within Daniel's image, are specific powers that Satan has used to dominate those in Covenant with God. God allowed this during times when His people were rebelling against Him in defiant disobedience.

The feet of the image shows that the reign over the anointed in the time of the end, is dual.
Not only is the metallic element still there (as it was in the previous powers- All "Gentiles"-not God's people) (Gentiles-Iron); for the first time, the statue contains "clay" of the earth..."the offspring of MANKIND". (Dan.2:41,42,43)
This clay represents those who belong to the "Potter" (Isa.29:16; 45:9; Jer.18:6; Rom.9:21), and they should be molded by Him alone. But instead, they mold themselves to the Iron (Gentiles) by conforming themselves to the iron, allowing the iron to mold them, rather than God.

Unknowingly, these "clay" actually conform to Satan's will, becoming a part of Satan's dominion over God's people (Rev.9:1; 17:12). In a short time, that clay hardens to this form (as baked clay), and is no longer useful to it's original owner. It is now suited only for destruction as a extension of Satan's "body".

This has come to pass, in that the anointed today are dominated within the Organization, not only by spiritual "Gentiles" alone; but by their own brothers who have joined in with the Gentiles to dominate their brothers in Christ....the wicked steward with "confirmed drunkards" from outside the master's household (Matt.24:45,48,49,50,51).
When Christ, through the final capstone, "smashes" the feet of the image of Daniel (Dan.2:34,45; Heb.11:10; Eze.3:8,9; Isa.50:7; 45:17; 49:8; 54:4; Micah.1:2); it is not smashing all of Satan's world, but only the Image Satan has used to dominate God's people, which is NOT Satan's entire world-wide dominion.
It is well known that the Image of Daniel does not contain all the political identities which have ever existed in Satan's world; But only ones which have dominated God's chosen people.

The book of Revelation is written in symbolism, the depth of which can only be interpreted by means of scripture and spirit (Rev.2:26,27; Gen.40:8;  2Pet. 1:21; John 16:13; 14:17).

The "authority" Jesus received while on earth from His father, was not to judge the world, but to have God's people judged their own reaction to the Truth which Jesus spoke (John 12:47,48; 9:39).
The truth Jesus taught, came from the Father (John 7:16; 5:30; 12:49). It is that touchstone of Truth which Jesus uses when he does judge (John 5:22). This is the same authority (through the Truth of Jesus Christ); which he shares with those who conquer (Rev.2:26,27; Luke 10:19;  1Cor. 6:2; Ps.2:9,10,11,12; 110:5; Dan.2:44).
The words of Truth judge the wayward "weeds" of God's covenanted people (the "smashing" of "clay"). This is not the same as an execution of Satan's entire world. This error of teaching comes from that very image, and it's clay. The time has arrived for those teachings to be "smashed" (Isa.41:25; 10:6; 41:2; 45:1; Rev.16:12; Zech.10:5). These will be, by "the words" of Truth Jesus speaks (Rev.2:16; John 14:6). That Truth comes through the vessels which belong to the "touchstone"/capstone (Zech.4:7,8,9,14; Rev.11:4,3) (the final stone of God's Temple 1Pet. 2:5;  1Cor. 3:16 which completes the 144000, and is "cut out" from Mount Zion -Ps.110:2; Rev.14:1; Dan.2:45; Zech.4:10).
When those doctrines of error are compared to this "touchstone" of Truth; those lying doctrines, along with the Gentiles and Clay which create and teach them, will be "pulverized". "The day (light and it's sons -2Thess. 2:8;  1Thess. 5:5) will show up, what each ones work is" (1Cor. 3:13;  2Pet. 3:10; Heb.4:13; Rom.2:6).

Satan's Fall

A QUESTION I received: Is Satan hurled to earth with his angels (unfaithful anointed) Rev 12:9, when the faithful anointed wake up & witness to the truth they receive from Christ, which causes Satans eventual defeat? Rev 12:11; REV 20:10

MY REPLY:
Please be patient as the supporting information to the answer you seek, is first provided. Please read the scriptures as you come to them. I will arrange my reply, into Three Parts.

PART ONE

It is important to remember once again, that Revelation is presented in symbolism. The name, "Revelation" (Greek: apokalupsis), literally means, "unveiling"... to "uncover".
By means of this "scroll", the final scene of Satan's world, and the advent of God's Kingdom, is symbolically depicted. When the time arrives for all it's symbols to be deciphered and fulfilled, it's previously "sealed" (hidden) information, will be "unveiled"/disclosed (2Pet.3:10; Luke 8:17)
(Dan.8:26; 9:24; 12:4,9; Rev.10:4) (Rev.22:10,6,16-17; 10:7-8; 1:1-2; 11:3; 20:12)
The scroll of "Revelation" will be "opened", made understandable and available, for any who wishes to partake of it, at the "marriage feast" (Rev.21:6; 22:7,17; 19:9). Those "leaving the 'city' " and who discern the "disgusting thing" (Mark 13:14), will be invited to it (Matt.22:9,10)
[The "marriage feast", is also the "slain"
(Luke 17:34,35,36,37; Rev.12:11; 11:3,7)
and the "mountains"
(Matt.24:15,16; Eze.36:8; Luke 21:21,22; Rev.18:4),
...depending upon which illustration/parable,
Jesus was using to describe these events.]

Returning to Rev.12:9-11...
The "oikoumenEn" (that has been translated, as "the whole world"/"earth"/"inhabited earth"), which Satan is said to be wholly deceiving and causing to "stray", is God's "dwelling"/habitation (as "oikoumenEn" is used and referred to, at Col.1:19; 2:9; John 14:23; 1Cor.3:16; 6:19).
In the time of the end, God's "temple"/"habitation"/"dwelling", is being hijacked through deception, by trespassers (Mark 13:14) ..."Gentiles", who are trampling it into subjection, to them (Rev.11:2; 13:7; 2Thess.2:4; Dan.8:11,13; 9:26; 11:31,36; Matt.24:15,6,21; Dan.12:1; Mark 13:13; Luke 21:24; Rev.2:9; 13:10,7; Luke 19:43; 21:20; Rev.20:9)... causing, the "great tribulation", which as stated, is being caused by the "abomination" (Gentiles/"man of lawlessness"/Wild sea-Beast/counterfeit priests/Idol Rev.13:7,8) of "desolation" (abasement/trampling/loss of power, authority, and service to God), to God's "holy place" (holy ones/Temple/city, and body of Christ).
It tells us (at Rev.12:9), that Satan and his messengers, are "cast into the land" (Greek: "gen"). This "land"/earth, is not the same word as God's "dwelling" ("oikoumenEn"), (which "dwelling", Satan is causing to go astray/misleading), --although both Greek words have been commonly mistranslated, as "world" or "earth".
Because translators have not relayed the literal meaning of the original Greek, nor shown the distinction between these two words (due to their often translating them into one word and meaning), ...confusion about the meaning of verse 9 has resulted, as well as all the truths, which clarity rests upon one's understanding of this verse.
To clarify the significance of this verse; the Bible is telling us that it is God's entire dwelling/habitation of His spirit ("oikoumenEn"), that is being mislead by Satan... but it is to another realm ("gen"), that Satan and his angels, are cast down, to.

fallen_angels-469x6001.jpg (469×600)

So then, to where is Satan, cast down?
The "earth" ("gen"), is said to be God's footstool (Acts 7:49; Isa.66:1).
If we read Luke 20:43; Ps.110:1; and Acts 2:35, we see that a "footstool", refers to a conquered enemy.

flat,1000x1000,075,f.u13.jpg (743×1000)

The Faithful anointed conquerors, also attain a "footstool" (Rom.16:20; Rev.3:9). Those Faithful attain a citizenship in heaven... and no longer belong to "gen"/earth (Heb.12:22-23; Luke 10:20; Eph.2:6).

To be "hurled to the earth", is certainly to lose out on a heavenly dominion (Rev.8:10; 2:5)... but also,
to be of the "earth" ("gen"), is to be subjugated... subdued and conquered (as a footstool), by God and His faithful (1John 5:4).

During the Great Tribulation, conditions are reversed.
Those with the "heavenly calling" have been overcome, made powerless, trampled, and taken captive. Can you perceive how a total subjugation of Christ's Body on earth, would cause Jesus kingship and rule over his then-present kings, to conclude? (Dan.8:11,12,24,25; 11:22,31; Rev.20:7,8; 12:17). The conclusion of Christ's "thousand year" kingdom, is associated with Satan's release from the abyss (Rev.20:7), the start of the great tribulation, and the conquering of the holy ones.

But if we peer even deeper into this symbolism...
God's throne is said to be, "in 'heaven' " (not earth/"gen") (Acts 7:49).
God rules through Christ (Eph.1:22)
inside the hearts/bodies, of the living stones (1Pet.2:5)
of his dwelling/Temple (1Cor.6:19; Eph.2:22; Gal.5:25,16; Col.3:17,15)
Those who have Christ as their ruler and "head" (Rev.19:16,12; 1:5; 5:10)(Col.1:18; 1Cor.12:27),
are, of "heaven" (Phil.3:20; 2:15; Eph.2:6; Heb.12:22,23; Rom.8:9)(Rev.14:1; Ps.110:2)(Isa.52:7; Ps.146:10; Isa.24:23; Heb.12:22; Acts 7:49,50; Eph.2:10). (Ps.103:18,19,20)

When we are being deceived by Satan, we are not yet of heaven. Satan holds a power over us, and if deceived by him, he becomes our master and king, rather than Christ. Satan's agents can then, trample us (Matt.5:13; Dan.7:21,25; Rev.12:17; 13:1,7; 11:2; Luke 21:24; Col.2:8; 2Tim.2:26; Rev.13:10; 1Tim.4:1; Rev.16:13,14,15,16; 20:7,8; 12:9). << This "captivity" befalls the entirety of God's "dwelling"/Temple, during the great tribulation (Rev.13:7; 11:2; Eze.22:30)... until "Michael", "stands up" (Dan.12:1; Rev.12:7; 20:7,8,9) and empowers his angelic messengers and "two witnesses" (his "arm") (Isa.63:5; Rev.11:3,5; Jer.5:14; Matt.10:20; John 12:38; Isa.52:10; Rev.22:17; 19:9; 22:6) to "stand in the gap" ...to uphold and restore the "wall" of truth, which defends God's "city"
(Isa.58:12; 61:3,4; 59:20; Nahum 2:2; Eze.39:24,25; Isa.49:6,7; Rom.11:26,27; Joel 2:32; Mal.3:1,2; Luke 1:76; Matt.17:11; Rev.22:16; 10:7; Zech.3:9; 4:10,14; Rev.11:4).
The royal dominion of Christ over his anointed congregation (Eph.1:22; Col.1:18), must be re-instated until all the enemies of truth, are made his "footstool" (1Cor.15:25; Ps.110:1,2,3).

Can you now see, how "being cast out of 'heaven' " ("heaven", symbolizing the hearts of those of heaven, over whom God and Christ gain rulership), can apply to Satan's influence being expelled and conquered, from within the "heavenly" hearts of those who act with faithful decisiveness?
(Rev.3:21; 1John 2:14; Rev.2:26; Matt.19:28; 25:21; 2Tim.2:12; James 4:7; Rev.12:10,11)
(1Cor.15:49; 2Cor.3:18; Ps.84:7; John 17:22; 1:14; Rom.8:29; 1Cor.13:12,9; Rev.10:7; John 16:13; Rev.22:6; Mal.3:1; Rev.10:1; Gen.9:13).
Can you see how the only realm left for Satan afterward, is for Satan to dominate and manipulate, the hearts of those still of "earth"/("gen")?

Any anointed one who chooses Satanic deception after the truth comes to light [and the judgment scrolls have been "opened" (Rev.20:12; Luke 24:45; Rev.3:7; Matt.13:11)], would also be eternally consigned to an "earthly"/"footstool status (because, through the faithful actions of God's victorious slaves, those who take a contrary course by comparison, are condemned -Prov.14:33,34,35)
[Heb.11:7 (Luke 17:26,30); 1Cor.6:3; Rev.12:7; 19:11,14; 17:14].

PART TWO
The contextual verses help us. I will put them (verses 7-11)...
7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world (dwelling) astray. He was hurled to the earth (land/"gen"), and his angels with him. 10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. 11  They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb  and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death."
There are key words above, that help to answer your question.
First, the faithful had to oppose Satan (verse 7). This is significant. For us, it meant questioning WT's false doctrine...
[and the expectation of it's leaders, that we must worship
(under threat of "death" -Dan.3:6; Rev.9:2; John 16:2)
the Image of the organization, as divine/"spirit-directed"
-Rev.13:11,14,15,7,8),
...finally refusing to accept and tolerate it's errors, and then standing up to oppose and expose them
(Rev.2:20,2; 12:10,11; 6:9,10,11; 11:3,7; 14:13; Mark 8:35; 13:13; Eph.5:11).
In that sense, Satan proves to be "not strong enough"
(Rev.12:8; 2Cor.2:11; Luke 10:18,19,20). His lying machinations and expert twisting of the truth, can no longer work effectively through Satan's agents/"angels" (Rev.16:13; 2Thess.2:9,10,11,12)... to suppress those who are willing (like Christ -Rom.6:5; 2Cor.5:15), to die for God's truth... thereby becoming God's messengers/"angels".

Those "Called and Chosen", have been battling against Satanic deception (2Cor.10:3,4,5; Eph.6:12; 2Tim.4:7) (Micah 4:2; Ps.110:2; Rev.2:27), sacrificing their lives for the sake of truth (Rom.6:5; Rev.6:11; Mark 8:35), and attaining a seal as God's faithful slaves and warriors (Deut.11:18; Rev.14:1), since the first century (Luke 21:32; Ps.112:2).

While under the "thousand year" reign of Christ (previous to the time of the End), each sealed one among those "144000", has conquered Satan during Christ's "thousand years", and during their own lifetime.
But Satan was not fully conquered during that time. He was still awaiting his release from the Abyss, when he would "wage war" with the "remaining ones" of the woman's/(covenant's) seed.
When faced with the Great Tribulation, how would that "remnant" respond?
It is not until the conclusion of Armageddon, that the harvest of all faithful anointed and their "children", is concluded... the "rest of the dead", come to life... the in-gathering of the faithful "wheat" is completed... God's Temple is completed... and Satan's dominion over the new creation, is fully removed, forever.
(Rev.20:5; 14:14,15,16,17,18,19; 7:9,13,14,17; 22:17; 1Cor.15:26).
This occurs, when the last of God's priests and temple stones...
(Rev.7:14,15; 1Pet.2:5,9,10; Eph.2:20,21,22)
...through personal victory,
is put in it's place
(Zech.4:7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14; Rev.11:4; Rev.12:10,11).

PART THREE

Because the last of courageous faithful, overcome the power of Satan's dark abyss (by the saving call of Christ, "knocking at the door" -Rev.3:20; John 10:27,4,16; Rev.7:17; Isa.42:16; Matt.25:6; Heb.13:13); Satan "looses his place in heaven"...
or, within the hearts of those who are then, OF heaven.
Once a priest wakes up and acts in faithfulness...
two things happen.
1.
The entirety of God's condemnation of his entire nation (Eze.22:30), is removed (Jer.5:1; Zech.3:9; Obadiah 1:17,18; Joel 2:32). Only those unresponsive to the seventh trumpet, who cling to the lie (Isa.28:15,18; 2Thess.2:10,11,12), will be abandoned, to the lie.
2. The contrasting wicked, are thereby sealed as condemned (Heb.11:7; 1Cor.6:3), and become of earth ("gen"), or, a "footstool" (conquered enemy).
Satan's "angels" are thereby confined to, and "hurled to, the earth".
Consequentially, the only throne left for Satan, is over those conquered/of "earth"("gen")... those who choose to believe and teach demonic deception. So Satan's dominion also, is constrained to the "earth"/"gen"... as one conquered by the faithful, never again to influence those of "heaven", again.
Since the dominion over which Satan is again limited to, is one of darkness-- divorced from the light and life from God; he is symbolically once again consigned to the abyss.
For those who overcome the power of Satan's abyss of deception and death, those powers, are destroyed by truth (Rev.20:14; Jer.23:29; 2Pet.3:7,10,11,12)
When those things are accomplished, it can rightly be proclaimed... "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Messiah".
In what sense, have the salvation, power, and kingdom of God been manifested, as well as the authority of Christ?
All four conditions, occur in the heart of the Victors.

This victory for God within the heart of His sealed servants,
is a huge change from what conditions were, while under the dark dominion of Satan, his Beast, and the false prophet (Col.1:13; 1Pet.2:9; Eph.5:11) which followed Satan's release from the abyss.

"The accuser... has been hurled down" (Rev.12:10 b).
On what basis was Satan previously able to "accuse" the unsealed anointed brothers and sisters of Christ... while maintaining his station in "heaven"?

Was it not through their being trampled into subjection, under an organizational idol, over whom Satan was king?
During that time, Satan kept his hold over the entire present sanctuary and Temple of God, including a victory over it's "messiah" ("the heavens") (Dan.9:26 A).
But see in Rev.12:10 b, that Satan's expulsion from heaven, ceases his ability to accuse.
Why?
Rev.12:11 tells us...
"By the word of their testimony" to truth, even when facing death, they thereby conquer Satan.
How can Satan continue to accuse those who abandon Satan's greatest lie about an Idol, stop their service to it, and speak up for truth no matter what the intimidation or cost? (Rev.16:14; 17:14; 19:11,14,8; 6:9,10,11)
How can Satan continue to be ruler of such a heart?

Satan is not strong enough to retain his hold on such ones,
but is "hurled down", to rule among those condemned.
These End-Time events are pivotal and of lasting consequence.
They cause the harvest to conclude, because Satan's release from the abyss has forced the issue...
Will each one, love the lie;
or, will they love the truth enough to face Satan, his demons, and all his powerful army and allies... in the greatest spiritual Battle of all time?
Certainly such a choice is facing every anointed one, today,
and certainly, each one of them is making their distinct choice
(Mal.3:18; Luke 10:16)(Matt.17:3; Mal.4:5,6; Acts 3:22,23; Rev.11:3,5) (Matt.17:3; Rev.11:4).

In conclusion,
Satan is "cast down" on an individual basis, every time a "called, chosen and faithful" one, is sealed.
But, in the time of the end;
there is a final culmination and conclusion to Satan's "fall", when the last of God's called and chosen, prove faithful...
despite the greatest test ever devised by the Adversary.
Satan's release from the abyss, and the test and war to follow,
concludes the harvest of "wheat" and "weeds" as well as "the vine of the earth",
and ushers in the Eternal Kingdom of God.
