The times and seasons

Another letter, regarding the timing of the end...
Matt.24:36...

Jesus said at Acts, chapter 1:
Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Notice he says that the information about the timing of the "restoration of the Kingdom" is according to God's authority. And then he immediately says that they will receive Holy Spirit, enabling them to be witnesses.
Would this empowerment ever include God sharing His knowledge of "times and seasons" for them to include in that witness?
See...
Notice a change....
1Thess.5
But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.

and
Matt.24
32 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that he is near—at the doors!
and
Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

Jesus did give them an answer, so that they could discern the "time and season".
(Luke 21:28)

Matt.16
Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’;and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times."

This knowledge of "time and season" would be for those shown favor, and as with Jerusalem of old; knowing it would make the difference between life, and destruction. (Luke19:41,42,43,44)

You see, when Jesus said that this knowledge was in the Father's jurisdiction, that did not mean that no one else would ever know.
It meant that when they find out, is totally up to the Father.
But the time would arrive when holy spirit would reveal it.

Rev.1:1 shows, that the time would come for Jesus to reveal to his anointed slaves,
"the things that must shortly take place".
So this knowledge of the times and seasons,
was given to the Son (see Rev.5:7).
Once the timing and events of the end of our world, was given to Christ to understand,
he gave it to John in the scroll of Revelation (Rev.1:1,2).

Yet, for thousands of years, it has not been deciphered. Why?
Because it was up to the Father to reveal it to the Son, and to reveal it by means of spirit to their slaves, at the time the Father decreed.
Dan.12:4,9-10; Rev.10:4; 22:10; 10:7-8; Amos 3:7)
Once the Son knows it is time to restore the kingdom and reveal the timing; he shares it
(John5:20; 12:49; 17:7,8; 15:15; Dan.12:4,9,7; Rev.10:5,6).

As for me, I will do my best to provide the food I am receiving to the other anointed and whoever comes to read it
(Eph.4:11-13; Rom.12:6; Rev.1:20; 10:7; 1Cor.14:32-33; Rev.22:6; Dan.12:4,9,10,3; Phil.2:15) .
Jesus expects that of me. But whether or not they want it, or they consider themselves already full (1Cor.4:8), is up to their own spiritual palate and hunger (2Cor.2:15-16; 3:5).
Jesus said that those originally "invited" to the wedding feast "were not worthy" (Matt.22:8).
If they still really love truth (Rev.2:4), they will search for it,
along with any others who hunger (Matt.22:9,10).

Yes, I will meet you one day. In fact, we will spend a good deal of time together throughout eternity.
Feel better,
love,
