God's "Angels"

A QUESTION:

Pearl,
I was thinking about Heb.1:6, and "God's angels".
I know that Christ's angelic messengers are the anointed, after they become living spirits,
but am I correct in thinking that Christ's "angels" are not the same as God's angels,
and that God's angels are those who were never human?
- - - - - - -

My Reply:

We remember that Christ is the only mediator between God and Mankind (1Tim. 2:5). Any "messengers" (Greek: "angels") sent to mankind, must be in service to him (John 1:51; Gen.28:10-14,17; Eph.2:19). He always was God's mediator, and this is why he was called "The Word" (John 1:1). As God's primary spokesperson to all creation, [including to the original creation's angels (1Pet. 3:19,20)]; he IS the "archangel"..."arch" meaning primary (Eph.2:20; Rom.8:29), and "angel" meaning messenger/spokesman (John 12:49; Rev.20:1; Luke 8:31; Rev.1:18; Heb.2:14). "The Word" and "ArchAngel" are interchangeable titles, for God's only mediator and 'primary-messenger' ('arch-angel').

Along with God's physical creation (Gen.3:11,13,17,19; 6:5,6,11,12),
God's original heavenly angelic persons were also brought down into corruption and death by means of Satan
(Gen.6:2,4; Jude 1:6).
The original "heavens" were corrupted (Eph.6:12; 1:20,21;  1Cor. 15:24,25,27).
How many of that spiritual creation sided with Satan?**

**The "Watchtower" teaches that one third of the angels fell into sin. This idea is derived
from Rev.12:4. This is not correct, because those "stars" are not the demons.
        They are the Chosen Ones (Phil.2:15; Dan.12:3; Rev.1:20; 8:10,11; 9:1;  2Pet. 3:17; Rev.2:5).
The symbolic "third" are those anointed "stars" whom God successfully disciplines in the time of the end
        (Zech.13:8,9; Rev.9:18,20; 6:9,11; Mark 8:35).]
To learn more about this, please read> https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2017/07/who-are-fallen-stars-of-rev124.html

We are told that the "heavens" and "earth" belonging to the original creation, are passing away, due to their corruption (2Pet. 3:7).
These are to be totally replaced with a new heavens and earth (Rev.21:5;  2Pet. 3:13)... a totally New Creation. The new heavens will include new angels (divine "messengers") (Matt.22:29,30;  1Pet. 3:22; Eph.1:22; Heb.2:5,16,8,12; 12:22,23; Luke 10:20; Rev.1:20; 8:2,6; Josh.6:4; Mal.2:7)

From Mal.2:7, you may have noticed that the ancient priests were God's messengers. That priesthood was prophetically designed, according to a future priesthood of heaven (Heb.8:5,1,2; 9:11,24; 3:1,2; Mark 14:58;  1Cor. 3:16;  1Pet. 2:5,9; Eph.2:20,21,22,6).
Remember that the definition of the Greek "angel", IS "messenger".
https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?t=kjv&strongs=g32
So the priests, are God's messengers (Mal.2:7).
How does the old Covenant priesthood, compare to the new?
Are the new priests, also God's messengers?
Please read Rev.1:6 and Rev.5:10

Now consider Rev.20:6...
"Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years."
Can you see that the New Covenant priests serve both God and Christ?
Remember from Rev.7:3, that God's slaves are so branded on their foreheads, symbolically (Deut.6:6,8; 11:18; Heb.10:16). This means that God's Words of Truth (John 17:17) are "written" in their hearts. From their hearts, they speak that truth (Luke 6:45,43; Rev.14:5; Matt.7:20; John 8:47; 7:16-18)
(pearl-finetrees.blogspot.com)
Please read Rev.22:3,4 and Rev.14:1.
The 144000 priests of truth, slave as God's priests. This is symbolically designated by having one's forehead "marked" (Deut.11:18; Rev.7:3; 14:1).
What then of Christ's ("Michael's") angelic messengers?
Are God's priests also in servitude to him?
Note that God's priests are also in servitude to Christ and the Holy City...
"The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name." Rev.3:12

What is Christ's "new name"? What does it mean to serve the meaning of that new name?
A "New Name"..."Michael". Why?
--- Source of Truth / "Michael" / Serving Men (Part B)

Rev.1:6 and Rev.5:10 plainly stated that the priesthood (messengers) of the New covenant, serve God (1Pet. 2:5,9,10; Jer.31:33). How then, do they also serve Christ  / "Michael"?
(2Cor. 5:20; Acts 1:8; Matt.28:20; Rev.12:7; 19:11,14; 17:14;  2Cor. 10:5,3,4; Rev.12:9,11; Luke 10:20)
We must remember here,
that Christ himself, as the "Word", was a witness/messenger/angel of God (Rev.1:5; 10:1; Matt.17:2; John 1:14; 18:37).
All he taught was from God (John 12:49; 7:16; 8:28; 17:8).
Therefore, it is not possible to be Christ's witness/messenger/priest/angel,
without being God's witness/messenger/priest/angel, also (John 13:20).

In summary,
God's original creation, both physical and spiritual, was corrupted.
God has purposed to bring about a re-creation
(Matt.19:28; Rev.21:5; Gal.6:15;  2Cor. 5:17; Eph.2:10,15; 4:24; Col.3:10; Isa.65:17)
in which righteousness dwells (2Pet. 3:3,4,5,6,7,10,11,12,13,14).
(John 3:3;  1Pet. 1:23; Luke 8:11,15; John 1:13;  1John 3:9; Matt.5:48; James 1:18,21)

That re-creation includes new heavens / angelic spirits / divine messengers.
(Rom.8:11,13,9; 7:5,6; John 3:5,6,3;  1Pet. 1:23; John 5:24; 6:47,50,51; 8:51; 11:26; Luke 20:36;  1Cor. 6:17; Rom.8:9;  2Cor. 5:16; Gal.2:20; Eph.5:30; Rom.8:11; Mark 12:25; Rev.22:4,3,6)
who serve both, God and Christ.
Regarding Heb.1:6,
you may wish to consider how the 144000 will serve and worship Christ,
(Dan.7:18; Rev.14:1; 22:3,5; 1:5;  1Cor. 3:11; 15:27; Ps.45:7,16)
("Worship Christ?")
even as they do now (Rev.1:5; 5:10; 19:13,16,14,8; 17:14;  2Cor. 10:3,4,5;  1Cor. 15:57,58; Gal.1:10; Col.3:24; Eph.1:22)
(pearl-holycity.blogspot.com)
If we look at the entirety of Heb.1:6;
God's "angel" messengers (Mal.2:7) worship Christ (Heb.8:1; Dan.7:14 (Rev.5:9,10) (Isa.9:7; Dan.2:44; Rev.1:5; 5:10), "when God again brings his firstborn into the world". This helps to clarify who the angels are (Mark 14:62; Heb.12:1;  1Thess. 3:13; Matt.25:31). The "firstborn" sons, as a group, are the Holy Ones/Holy "angels"  (James 1:18; Rev.14:4; Heb.12:22,23; Luke 10:20;  1Tim. 3:15; 5:21) (Rev.5:11; Dan.7:10; Jude 1:14)
who will come "into the world" during God's Kingdom (Rev.21:2; John 1:51).
("Jacob's Ladder")
"And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world,
he says, 'Let all God’s angels worship him.' " (Heb.1:6)

Does Hebrews ch.1 verse 5, disprove Jesus as being an Angel?

Comment received:

I was convinced that Jesus could not be an angel, by Heb.1:5.

My Response:

When we in English, see the word "angel", we think of mighty spirit beings that were never human. But I learned that the original Greek word that was written, is "angelos". For some unknown reason, it is translated as "angel" but should not be.    Why?    Well, all the other Greek words of the New Testament, are translated into English, but "angelos" is not. The word is only Anglicized. The English translation of "angelos" is "messenger". That is the definition... not "angel" (meaning a spirit creature)  https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?t=kjv&strongs=g32

If you look up the Greek word that the Bible used to describe John the Baptist (at Mark 1:2), it is "angelos". /// https://www.scripture4all.org/OnlineInterlinear/NTpdf/mar1.pdf

Here is Mark 1:1-4: "The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God, 2 as it is written in Isaiah the prophet: ‘I will send my messenger ("ANGELOS") ahead of you, who will prepare your way’ –3 ‘a voice of one calling in the wilderness, “Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.”’4 And so John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins."

It is unfortunate that when translating "angelos", translators use two different words... "messenger" (as they should), and "angel", which is not really a translation.... it is just a shortened Greek word.

To illustrate...  The French word for "book", is "livre". If I am translating a letter from French to English, I should translate "livre", into "book".  If I only take off the "e" and translate "livre" into "livr"... Are English readers going to know that "livr" is a "book"? No. In fact, they may even construct their own idea about what a "livr", is. They have room to assume that this source of information is an encyclopedia or computer. Yet that is not the precise meaning of "book".

That is what has happened with "angel". It is not a spirit being. It simply means, "messenger".  If we think about this fact; the removal of that constraint opens the possibility that the "angels" in Revelation are human. That also opens up the fact that Jesus Christ, who according to scripture was God's messenger to the world, could therefore also be an "angelos". Here is only one of many scriptures that prove that:  "For I have never spoken on My own initiative or authority, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment regarding what to say and what to speak." (John12:49) (John8:42; 1:14; Heb.1:2; 1Tim.2:5)

What then, about your verse at Heb.1:5?  The context of Heb.1:1-9, explains the reason why Jesus Christ is special, in comparison to his many brothers who also become messengers of God (Matt.10:20,40; 2Cor.5:20; Jer.5:14; Rev.11:5).  He is the firstborn among them (Rom.8:29; 2Cor.3:18; 2Pet.1:4) and is the means by which his bride members, receive life (Eph.5:23,25; Rev.5:9-10; John1:4; John14:6; 5:40).  Jesus Christ is the only one to become God's direct Son (John3:16; Heb.1:5; John1:14).  Through Jesus, others also become sons of God (John1:12-13; Gal.3:26; 4:6; Ps.45:16; Isa.9:6), just as a grandson becomes a son of his grandfather, because there is no distinction in the Bible, between direct sons and subsequent generations (Luke 3:8).

The uniqueness of Jesus as he compares to the rest of God's messengers, is explained in Heb.1:1-3,4-6,7-9,14. (Heb.2:16; Gal.3:29).  Each of those verses in Heb.1:1-9 is further explained, by additional scriptures, which help to clarify what is meant...

Heb.1:"1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets (GOD'S ORIGINAL MESSENGERS) at many times and in various ways,  2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, (spokesman/messenger/the Word/Logos)  whom he appointed heir of all things (Matt.28:18-20;  11:27; Eph.1:22), and through whom also he made the universe. (John1:3)  3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being (Phil.2:5-7)(2Pet.1:4; John10:34-35; Ps.82:6), sustaining all things by his powerful word (see John5:24). After he had provided purification for sins, (Rev.5:9-10; 7:14) he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven (Heb.1:3; Luke22:69; Ps.110:1; 1Cor.15:25)  4 *So he became as much superior* to the angels (other "MESSENGERS") as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs." (Rev.19:16; 1:5)  ////[(Jesus is the foundation cornerstone to God's spiritual Temple of living stones -Eph.2:20-22; 1Pet.2:5). Jesus has "inherited" a superior name (Ps.45:7 CSB), which he shares with the faithful victors (Rev.3:12; 2:17; Isa.62:2). It is a name that champions the peerless sovereignty of God (Rev.12:7; 7:10; 15:2) in opposition to those who champion the peerlessness of the Wild Beast (Rev.13:4).] NOTE: ("Michael" means; "Who is like God?") //// 5 For to which of the angels ("messengers") did God ever say,‘You are my Son; today I have become your Father’? (Matt.3:17; Ps.2:6-9; Rev.3:21; 2:26-27) Or again,'I will be his Father and he will be my Son’? (1Chron.17:10-14; 2Sam.7:13-16) 6 And again, when God brings HIS FIRSTBORN into the world, he says,‘Let all God’s angels (messengers) worship him.’ (Matt.28:9; Luke 24:52)  (John1:51; Rev.19:11,14; Eph.2:6; Gen.28:12,17; Eph.2:19-20)  7 In speaking of the angels ("messengers") he says,‘He makes his angels ("messengers") spirits, (Ps.104:4; Rom.8:9; 2Cor.5:20) and his servants flames of fire.' (John5:35; Matt.5:14-15)  8 But about the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; (Dan.7:13-14,21-22,25-27; 1Cor.15:25-28,24)  a sceptre of justice will be the sceptre of your kingdom. (Rev.19:11,15; John5:22; 12:48-49)  9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions (Col.1:18) by anointing you with the oil of joy.’ " (Heb.12:2) (Ps.45:7; Phil.2:9).

I hope you research the scriptures I have cited, and see how they help us to understand the position of Jesus above God's other messengers, among which, Jesus was the primary and greatest... the Arch-angel (Arch, meaning: the prototype, first, greatest, original /// Angel, meaning: messenger).

God's Messengers

A QUESTION:

Dear Pearl,
Does the angels give orders , instruct and pass information (re the interpretation of prophecies found in the Bible) on to the Faithful and discreet slave ?

MY REPLY:

Dear Johan,
There is so much deception rife in the end times in which we live, that nothing we thought we knew can be taken for granted as truth (1Cor. 3:18;  2Cor. 11:3; Col.2:8;  1Tim. 4:1; Matt.24:24,25;  2Thess. 2:4,9; Rev.12:9; 13:11; 20:12).
I say this, because the first part of your question asks about angels.

You may have been taught as I was...
that all angels are spirits that were born in heaven as spirits.
The Greek word for angel means messenger, and that word is also applied to those whom God has chosen to bear His messages. These can include those God has chosen to be His Temple priests.

Mal.2:7 reads
"For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, because he is the messenger of the LORD Almighty and people seek instruction from his mouth."

1Pet. 2:9 reads:
"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
Rev.5:10 reads
"You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God,
and they will reign on the earth.”

Hopefully you can see that according to the Bible, chosen priests anointed by God are given information to share with others (Matt.5:14,16). If one of these priests was chosen to be a prophet (1Cor. 7:7; 12:4,5,28; Eph.4:11) then that priest would also have a message for fellow priests, just as the apostles had information for their fellow anointed ones (Eph.2:20; 4:12; Rom.12:6;  1Pet. 4:10,11;  1Cor. 4:1; 3:10; Rev.1:20;  1Cor. 14:33).

The reason why it is so important to understand who the angelic messengers of God include;
is because this is in harmony with the rest of the Bible's facts, such as:

1Tim. 2:5
"For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus".
This does not point to another spirit being between Christ and man.
Between God and man, is only Christ.

As such, it is Christ who gives information directly to men of his choosing, as a high priest directly cares for his under-priests.
It may also help to check other scriptures about how the anointed prophets receive information...

Jesus said;
"What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs." (Matt.10:27)

"Then the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud;...he said, “Listen to my words:
When there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams." Num.12:5,6

When I was taken in vision, Christ himself spoke with me. There was no intermediary spirit person.
Rev.1:1 and Rev.22:8,9 may come to your mind. Let's look at them:

"The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John". (Rev.1:1)
This one whom Jesus "sends", is the same "angel" (Greek = "messenger" -Gal.4:14) of Zech.4:9 and Mal.3:1 (Isa.40:1,2,3; Rev.12:6,14; Isa.40:4,5,9,10; Matt.25:6), who appears when God's Temple (anointed priesthood) is finally completed by the "capstone". That prophet messenger(s) ["angel(s)"] is sent to prophesy in that time of the end, and will fulfill the roles of "Moses and Elijah" (Rev.11:3,4; Zech.4:14,9). The appearance of this "capstone" will initiate the "small beginnings" of the eternal Kingdom. This beginning sprouts from a condition of devastation (Zech.4:10,6; Hag.2:3; Rev.11:2; Dan.12:7; Rev.13:7; Matt.24:15; Luke 21:24; Matt.7:6; Dan.8:12;  1Cor. 3:16,17;  2Thess. 2:8; 1:7; Rev.1:1; Isa.40:5,2,3)"

"I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!” (Rev.22:8,9)

The Holy Spirit is what teaches the anointed slaves (1John 2:20,27; John 14:26).
Those given a message by means of that spirit, speak on it's knowledge and power directly, without another intermediary persona (John 16:12,13,14; Matt.10:20; Luke 12:12).

So then, who is this angel that is "showing" John Revelation's visions?

This messenger of prophecy, is one of the angels mentioned at Rev.1:20...
"The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches."

Can you see from this that the "seven" congregations of Christ (made of anointed priests), each have a "messenger"/"angel" that is a "star" of light to their congregation?

Who are these angel stars?
The Bible tells us...
"Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever."
"Those", are speaking of humans.
These eternal "stars" are "light bearers" who have been given specific wisdom from God to prophesy to their congregations. These are the same identity as the "two witnesses" of Rev.11:3,4.
This symbolic "Moses and Elijah" role as prophet, is not the same as all God's nation of priests (1Pet. 2:10,9).
Not all priests are prophets (1Cor. 12:29).

To be certain that these stars are humans among other humans...
See Phil.2:15...
"so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life."

These who "hold firmly to the word of life" are doing the same thing as John's Revelation angel.
Remember what that "angel" said?...
"I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll.
When John received the visions of Revelation, he was transferred into the future "Lord's Day" (Rev.1:10). This means that he will learn the meaning of Revelation after his resurrection, from the prophets who are given that scroll's interpretation in "the time of the end" (Dan.12:4; Rev.22:10; 20:12; Amos 3:7; Rev.22:6) to give to the remnant in peril, during the Great Tribulation.
That event is what John described,
as he himself, as well as the angelic prophet, were within "the Lord's Day" and "the time of the end".

Spirit angels in heaven have no need to hold firmly to the word of life (or to "keep the words" of the scroll of Revelation) as delivered to the anointed by Christ through his prophets (Rev.11:3);
nor do they need to "keep the words" of the book of Revelation, since they are not the ones portrayed in Revelation's dilemma and solution (Rev.22:19; 1:11,3). The "seven Congregations" are.
Remember that the purpose of Revelation, is for Jesus to "show his anointed slaves/servants" what will happen (Rev.1:1)...not to show invisible spirit creatures, so that they will be warned, and obey.

Christ's slaves are the ones who need the "angels"/"stars" to enlighten their congregations, as to the spiritual perils Revelation unveils. These star-like messengers must pass on the light which "the spirit of the prophets" has given them (Rev.10:7; 11:3;  1Cor. 14:32), to those anointed who are not prophets,
are in peril,
and are still in the darkness of Satan's final great deception
(1Tim. 4:1; Rev.13:7; 16:13,14,15;  2Thess. 2:9,4; Matt.24:15,4,5,24,25).

So when you ask if "angels" receive "orders" to instruct and pass information to God's anointed slaves...
that depends upon your definition of "angel".

If you believe what many have been deceived into believing...
that the conquering of Satan is done by angels who were never human (Rev.12:7), and that these take the lead in prophesying to the body of Christ (including the apostle John), then my reply would be "No.".
(Rev.12:7;  2Cor. 10:3,4,5; 6:7; Rev.11:5; Jer.5:14; 1:10; Rev.16:16; 19:11,14,8; 17:14; Gen.3:15; Rev.12:7)

If you believe that the angels in Revelation are anointed prophets here on earth, sent to show God's anointed slaves of Christ's body "what will soon take place";
then "Yes."...those chosen as prophets pass information (including the interpretation of prophecy) on to the rest of Christ's slaves...those who have not been chosen to be prophets (1Cor. 12:29,21,14,7,8,9,10,11,4,5; Rev.1:1,20; 11:3; 10:7).

Thank you for your good question,
Pearl

----FOLLOW-UP #1:

QUESTION: So after all I have read , you are in fact saying God is passing information /orders and instructs only the anointed who are to be kings and priest via his angels?

MY REPLY:
No Johan,
That is not what my reply explained.
My reply in summary, is that God is passing information to Jesus Christ, as He always has.
Jesus Christ in turn, by means of Holy Spirit, shares that information with his anointed priests, depending upon what their individual assignment is. (Rev.5:2,4,5,7; John 16:15; Rev.1:1).
As I explained previous, non-human angels have nothing to do with this.
Christ feeds his own anointed slaves/priests (John 6:51; Luke 12:35,36,37; 17:8; Rev.3:20).
and his slaves/priests, feed his sheep (John 21:17).
The anointed prophets are also called angels (Rev.1:20; Heb.1:7; 12:22,23)
and the prophecies which speak of angel messengers, are speaking of sealed anointed,
who have become spirit (Rom.8:9,11; John 3:6; 5:24;  1Pet. 1:22,23;  1John 3:14; Matt.22:30; John 8:51; Rev.20:6).
If you don't consider the scriptures fully,
you will not find the answer clearly.

Thank you for following up, and please let me know if these additional scriptures help to clarify.
All the best,
Pearl

QUESTION:
Thanks for taking your time to  answer and are you aware that the WTS claims that God who is the sole interpreter of his sacred word and prophecies merely uses the F&DS to publish those interpretations using the angels to pass on the info after Jesus as His mouthpiece revealed it to the angles to pass on to the FDS/Remnant?

God IS the sole interpreter of His own Word (Gen.40:8; Dan.2:27,28; Job 33:15,16; Ps.25:14; Amos 3:7;  1Cor. 12:10,11).
If you wrote a letter; Who would be the best person to explain what you meant by it...
...someone who didn't know you? ...or you, yourself?
God's Spirit gives interpretation (1Cor. 2:10).
That spirit is sent out to the entirety of God's land/"earth"/"seven congregations", through the "seven stars"/"lamps"/"angels" (Rev.5:6; 3:1; 4:5; 1:20).
https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/search?q=seven+stars
As you can see partially from the above scriptures (and the ones to follow); God does speak through His faithful slaves
*(Matt.10:20; Luke 12:12;  1Thess. 2:13) (2Sam. 23:2; Mark 12:36; Luke 21:15; Acts 2:4;  2Pet. 1:12,21).

As far as the WTS claiming that between Jesus Christ and his faithful slaves, there are unseen "angels" who relay his message...
Hopefully as a result of reading all the scriptures I have provided thus far,
you can deduce that such is clearly not the case.

The truth is that God does speak through His chosen priests, (Mal.2:7; Matt.5:14;  1Pet. 2:9), (see scriptures *above).
What we each must discern is... which of these priestly prophets ARE the true and faithful ones,
and which are the false and unfaithful (Matt.24:45,24; 7:15,16,17,18,19,20; John 7:17,18; 8:47)
(pearl-finetrees.blogspot.com)

In their case (WTS)...this receiving information from unseen spirit beings other than Christ, may be so...
because scripture reveals that the UNfaithful slaves of Christ,
ARE  being spiritually fed by unseen messengers other than Christ (2Cor. 11:3;  1Tim. 4:1; Rev.16:13,14).

Now I must tell you, that you are dragging behind in the current doctrines of the WTS.
When you say that the WTS teaches that angels "pass on to the FDS/ Remnant" interpretations of scripture;
you reveal that you have not learned about their recent change in doctrine.
The WTS no longer teaches that the "remnant" are the FDS.
They teach that the governing body of today are alone and exclusively... the FDS.
Of greatest import here, is that no one should claim the stature of FDS (Luke 12:42; 17:10) because only Jesus Christ has the right to bestow that title (Rom.14:4; 2Pet.3:17NIV ; 1Cor.10:12; Mal.3:2; Rev.2:5), when he returns and calls his servants into account (Matt.25:19-21; 2Cor.5:10; John12:48).

So in answer to your current question...
Yes, I am aware of what the current doctrine of the WTS is, regarding the avenue of knowledge from God to men...and now you are also.
Jesus declared that such vacillating doctrines of men make the Word of God "invalid", and convert any worship directed toward God, to be "in vain". (Mark 7:13,7)
Although I am aware of the various and confusing doctrines from a variety of false prophets; I do not see the spiritual value of admitting to such knowledge, to myself or anyone else.

For this reason, I prefer to spend my time working to shed light on God's Words...and not man's (Rom.3:4; Psalm 36:9). Please use my services accordingly.

The ArchAngel

(Part 3)
QUESTION:
Hi Pearl,
Is it really important that Jesus was Michael ? I really don't have any scriptures that say he is or isn't & so far witnesses don't either. Just a summation or a could be..check out Hebrews 1..I know you know this one, so that's the only one I can point you to. The Son Exalted Above Angels

5 For to which of the angels did He ever say:“You are My Son,Today I have begotten You”?[c]And again:“I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son”?[d]6 But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says:“Let all the angels of God worship Him.”[e]7 And of the angels He says:“Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire.

When I read that scripture that's when I began to question. The witnesses have a lot of truth & over the years things have changed..& that is a good thing. In our examining the scriptures there was a text of the day that referred to Michael but never once pointed that he was Jesus, could the light be getting brighter....If we continue to email each other I will paste & copy it for you, but most likely you may have read it...Hope we speak again....

Thx,

Dany

ANSWER:
The reason why it is important to understand these details...
When God says that "I have begotten you"...this is unique.
Even the other anointed ones, are not begotten by God.
True, there is
1Peter1:22
"Now that YOU have purified YOUR souls by [YOUR] obedience to the truth with unhypocritical brotherly affection as the result, love one another intensely from the heart. 23 For YOU have been given a new birth, not by corruptible, but by incorruptible [reproductive] seed, through the word of [the] living and enduring God."
This was a promise given by the word of God, which never fails.
That incorruptible "seed" is Christ. The anointed Christian grows according to this "model" (1Pet.2:21) until they grow to the full stature of Christ (Eph.4:13).
My point, is that the 144000 receive spirit life...not from God directly, but from Christ. He is the basis of their glorification, through the forgiveness of sins.
The way they become Sons of God, is through adoption after their resurrection...not through being directly "begotten" by God.
Jesus is the only-begotten Son of God (John3:16).

The scriptures you cite in Hebrews, do not indicate that Jesus was not Michael...
They indicate that of all the anointed angels...only Jesus was directly begotten by God.

This is why Heb.1:6 says that all those angels will serve and worship Jesus. He is the King of those kings. (see John1:51; Gen.28:12; Dan.7:13; Rev.22:3,4). He is the Archangel (Jude 1:9).
    From Oxford Languages:
[Definition of Arch:
arch-
/ärCH/
combining form
prefix: arch-
chief; principal. Similar: chief, principal, foremost, leading, main, preeminent, cardinal, major, prime, premier, elite, star, outstanding, ultra-, super-, top, highest, greatest, best, first, head, out-and-out, complete,
utter, total, number-one
Opposite: minor, pseudo-(in an unfavorable sense)
via Latin from Greek arkhi-, from arkhos ‘chief’.]
-- Remembering that the word "angel" is derived from the Greek "angelos", which simply means "Messenger", we can see how the Logos/Word who became Jesus Christ, would be God's foremost messenger, above all other messengers.
Rev.12:7 tells us that Michael and his angels, battle with Satan and his angels. This simply conveys that the battle is between the messengers of truth and the messengers of demonic deception, as well as the leaders of each of those groups. When we look at Rev.16:13-16; 13:11 and compare it to Rev.17:14; 19:11,14; Eph.2:6 it is clarified for us, who the messengers are of each leader, on each side.

When God's Kingdom arrives...all 144000 will serve under Jesus. He is the one that paid the price for their thrones (Rev.5:9,10). He will oversee their kingdom work.
And perhaps you also noticed at Heb.1:6...these firstborn ones (Rev.14:4; Heb.12:22,23) will come back into the earth during the kingdom.  (Rev 3: 12) (Rev 21: 2, 9, 10) (Galatians 4:26, 31)
This is what "Jacob's Ladder" is about.  You might like to read an article at Obadiah Blogs:
Jacob's Ladder (also, https://pearl-materialize.blogspot.com) and (https://pearl-holycity.blogspot.com)

Again, unless you clearly see that these "angels" are the 144000, you will still think that these scriptures support divorcing the identities of Jesus and Michael.
He is not talking of angels who were born as spirits in heaven. He is referring to those partners of Christ (See Heb.1:9). Notice in that verse, that they are "anointed" with the "oil of exultation" just like Jesus, but less so. These are not heavenly-born angels. Those do not get anointed. These "angels" are Abraham's seed (see Heb.2:16; Gal.3:29).

So again I tell you...
The angels that Jesus is exalted above, are the 144000. Among these, only Jesus was directly begotten by God. The rest are adopted after they get spirit life from Jesus (Rom.8:23) who is their spirit father first (Rev.14:4; Psalm 45:16; Isa.9:6). ("Firstfruits...to the Lamb"; "your sons"; "eternal father" 2Thess.2:13,14).

The scripture you are citing does not mean what you presume...neither does it clarify the subject of Jesus being or not being Michael.

Since Satan now dominates the Organization, I would not expect brighter lamps from the anointed leaders above it (Matt.25:8).

I think it may help you tremendously to reflect upon the situation God's people are in, at the time of the appearance of "Michael".

Do you remember that "all the earth" turn to worshiping the wild beast and it's image (Rev.13:8)?
Apparently, they feel that this is more worthy of worship than God.
Remember what distinguishes the faithful from the rest?
They are busy declaring...
"And they keep on crying with a loud voice, saying: “Salvation [we owe] to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.” Rev.7:10 (see Rev.14:7)

So then, what is the central issue in the time of the end?

The central issue at the end (which means the difference between life and death)...
is the recognition, appreciation, acknowledgement, and devotion to God as the only one worthy of worship, glory, and credit for salvation.
The threat to that is a pervasive Idolatry.

So then, in that climate...what role do you think Jesus ("the faithful witness" Rev.1:5) would take?
Would he not be active in establishing the truth, that there is no one like God?...not the wild beast, not the false prophet, not the Great Harlot, not the dragon, not the locust-scorpions, not the Image....
NONE of them, compares to YHVH.

Would that not be the message that he and his "angels" are battling over,
against all those agents of worship for Satan?
Small wonder that the role of the end-time Jesus is named "Michael"... which means "Who is like God?"
There are many more posts and scriptures in this blog about Michael. I hope you'll do a search for Michael in the search box, and sample the resulting posts.
If you truly are looking for increasing light...do not look to the darkness.
Best Regards,
Pearl

Michael / "Clouds" of Heaven

(Part 2)
QUESTION: Hi Pearl,
Thx for replying...that was a mouthful...I am going to reply to your other statements but this scripture was the one that really stood out to me re: Michael....

Luke 2:21 Now when eight days came to the full for circumcising him, his name was also called Jesus,

the name called by the angel before he was conceived in the womb. Many woman name their child while the child is in the womb or even before she is pregnant...so we see he was named Jesus even before he was conceived in the womb.
I think even in Revelation it is written that Jesus came with his angels..or even in Hebrews where it states to which angel did he (Jah) ever say you are my son.
& One I do remember is that the bible also states the Michael is ONE OF THE CHIEF PRINCES..one of..are there other chief princes.

Many witnesses say there is no proof in the bible of the Trinity, well neither is there any proof that Michael is Jesus. Jesus is the son of God. You can piece together all the proof but just like the trinity one can piece together proof as well. & really at the end of the day, does it really matter ?

I am very clear about the witnesses. I knew they were regular folks before they came there & did not walk on water but at the same time when I say that I think they are a little offended because they do feel they are different ( & just a little imperfect, not alot) but imperfection is imperfection...like murder (sorry to give such a bad example) at the end of it..the person is dead, but with murder it still is murder, just a matter of degree.
I like them just the way they are even with imperfections, because I have imperfections as well. I think what puzzles me is that witnesses are on this site & always told how we shouldn't be on the internet only the Witness official website.
I'm not baptized as of yet & I found this web-site where I could ask questions because I started to see the org. interpretation didn't line up with the bible. So I thought maybe Satan is trying to mess with my head, but when I started to talk to a few experts I started seeing that I was not crazy. I find they run ahead of the scriptures & fill in the gaps with their own doctrine. They have alot of the truth but not all.

Why do they talk about other places of worship, it's not good to be like that, as the kids say today.."Stay in your Lane"..even if others do talk about them, do not follow their lead. The Faithful Discreet slave...a parable...which is the foundation of the org. to me it means...Just be ready when Jesus comes back. Get your house & faith in order. I hope you are doing well and not sure how you feel about Disfellowshipped...you can leave the org, but don't leave Jah, he is not only in the hall, he is with you anytime..just open your bible & there he is to give us comfort. Hope to hear from you.
-------------------------------

Hello again Dany.

Jesus name was known before his birth, but this name was assigned him as the "Son of Man". It was his name in the flesh. It means, "Jehovah is salvation". This is because his role as human man, was salvation. This assigned name was given to Joseph, just when Mary conceived (Matt.1:20,21). In this way, Jesus' name was known before his birth. This does not mean that the spirit being Christ was before coming to earth as a man, was also Jesus.

Before he was born as a man, his name was not Jesus...it was the Logos/Word (John 1:1,14).

His name after resurrection, only he himself knows. (Rev.19:12). This is because no name of the human tongue can encompass all the authority, power, and glory Jesus has been given as slave of God in a new capacity (Phil.2:9; Rev.3:12). Jesus is given, a "new name" for Armageddon.
This is also true of the sealed 144000 (Rev.2:17). These also no longer have the name that identified them in the flesh, but reflects their accomplishments (Rev.3:4; 12:11; 20:4; 14:5; 19:8), servitude (Rev.22:3,4; 5:10), and approval before God (1Cor.11:19;  2Tim.2:15;  1Thess.2:4). The new name also reflects their new assignment.
Yet there is one fact we can be sure of. Jesus Christ received a "new name" (Rev.3:12). What is that "new name"?
All of Christ's names, had to do with his divine assignment.
His new name is no different.
His new assignment is shared by his faithful (Rev.3:12; 19:11,14).
This new name and assignment is understood, when we see what Jesus tells us about the events in Revelation. In summary; glory, honor, and worship is being given to an idolatrous image. Even the Holy Ones have been conquered by it (Rev.13:7; 17:12-13; Dan.8:11-12,13) so that their service to God has halted.
So then...
What divine assignment is needed to be performed by the glorified Christ, to transfer the glory, honor, and worship, back to the God who deserves it? (Rev.14:7; 4:11) What new name would reflect that new assignment?
Obviously, any chosen one who is worshiping the image of the Beast, has forgotten that there is no idol in existence that can compare to the True God. How can Christ remind God's called ones, that no one is like God?
The name Michael, means, "Who is like God?"
The faithful messengers of truth who battle with Michael against this deceptive machination of Satan (worship of the image of the Beast as possessing divinity from God), have the same assignment (Christ's new name, also written on them.). These also work to restore worship to God, by the heralding messages and warnings they declare. These messengers ("angels") who have Christs NEW name also written on them, battle alongside "Michael" (Rev.17:14; 19:11,14; 12:7) and conquer Satan as a result (Rev.12:7-8,10,11)
Armageddon is a battle between agents/messengers/angels, of Satanic deception and agents/messengers/angels, of the Faithful and True Witness, Christ.
The truth, is that the Beast's image does not deserve God's priests to give over their praise and worship to it (Rev.2:12,14,16). The false prophet and Beast, battle against that truth. They kill any who do not worship it (Rev.13:15,8)

Yes...Michael is "one of the chief princes" (Heb.1:8-9; Psalm 45:7).
There are a symbolic seven others (Micah 5:4-5,6,13,15; Ps.110:5,2-3; Rev.8:6)
This actually helps to establish Michael as Jesus.
How?
Jesus is the "Prince of Peace" Isa.9:6, but he is not alone in this role. "Jerusalem" means, "foundation of Peace". The entire Holy City of "New Jerusalem" are made up of 144000 princes of peace (Psalm 45:16).
He is the foremost one...just as he is the King "of kings" and Lord "of lords".
He is "foremost" among his brothers/partner heirs (Ps.45:7;  2Tim.2:12).
Yet all these sealed and glorified brothers of Christ, are "foremost" in comparison to Satan's worldly rulers. These co-heirs of God's Kingdom, will have no end to their kingdom
(Dan.2:44; Rev.3:21; 2:26; 17:14).

The angels in the spirit realm, born as spirit sons of God, are not princes at all.

Satan and his minions have taken worldly power (1John 5:19). This is unrighteous...and they will soon lose it to God's Kingdom.
God has reserved princely dominion of the earth for Abraham's seed....for these foremost princes, kings, and lords...even among which, Jesus is foremost.

While there are a number of scriptures which can be used to construct the Trinity doctrine, there are very many scriptures against it.
The Truth is identified as that which the Bible teaches, and which no scriptures contradict.

If you have a scripture that contradicts Michael as being a role of Jesus in the spirit realm, please send it to me.

The Holy Angels that accompany Jesus at his return, are the sealed glorified anointed witnesses ("He is coming on the clouds of heaven" Heb.12:1; Jude 1:14;  2Thess.1:7,10). These angels are the ones who battle with Satan and are at enmity with Satan's seed (Rev.12:7; Gen.3:15; Gal.4:24,26). Genesis reveals that those who battle Satan and his seed/angels, are the seed of the "woman". The angels born in heaven are not in the New Covenant/Woman, nor do they battle for supremacy of our planet. The heavenly born angels, are not the angels/messengers, being talked about in Hebrews (Heb.1:7,9,14; 2:5,16). Hebrews is speaking of Jesus' angels/messengers...Abraham's seed.

Yes, Jesus is unique in Jehovah declaring Jesus as God's only-begotten son. This is especially so, since he is the firstborn...both in all creation as well as from the dead. All things have been made subject to Jesus alone, with the exception of the Father (1Cor.15:27). Of all the anointed "angels"/messengers, Jesus alone is the high priest.

Thanks again and take care,
Pearl

thousand years / angels / the final test / God's organization

Here is part of a letter I received, and below it, my reply.

From a reader:
I have some trouble understanding your articles. It´s like grasping water. When I think I got something then I just can´t hold it. I´ll have to ask you to write me in a very plain and direct way. Next, I´ll ask you some questions. Please answer them as simple as you can and add any information you consider necessary but be straight.
I´m a teacher. I´m educated and intelligent (I have the capacity of relating information and data), I tell you this so you can feel confident about being direct. I have an open mind and I don´t have resistance to change or correction. Plus I´ll be praying YHWH for guidance.
The thousand year reign is the same that the heaven hope? Is this what Jesus had in mind when he said you´d be like angels? Will you be angels with the ability of materializing, coming down to earth and going up to heaven at will? Is that what the new creation, being sons of God, means? The rest of us will be blood and flesh human, attached to earth,  for ever?
As a priest you are for me, I´ll be very honest.
When YHWH revealed me who the wild beast was, I automatically discarded everything I knew. I understood we were deceited to believe lies disguised as truth. One of the first teachings I questioned, was the heaven hope. I always thought it was kind of "babylonic", you know what I mean. I always believed that the one obsessed with heavenly immortal life was Satan, the demons and their worshippers (he even deceited Eve telling her that she´d be like God)  and that the flood events were the origin of this hope. Since I´m not anointed, I understand that I can´t comprehend what this hope means to you and that my doubts in this issue are for ignorance.  I have to recognize, also, that during these two months I begun longing for being anointed (during some time I thought that being anointed was the only way YHWH approved us).I understood then  (Thanks to your posts and Obediah´s) that this was not the case and I felt really happy. But I also started feeling a little jealous (in a curious way) about your hope and wonder what is wrong with us, Will this affect us? Could this feeling lead us to behave like the Devil, desiring something that doesn´t belong to us? (That´s what I felt when I read Perimeno´s blog, I felt so little-nothing, like that we being faithful didn´t matter at all, that you are anointed or you are nothing, that was my feeling, and I knew that couldn´t be from YHWH). I absolutely trust YHWH´s justice an love and I understand he always does the best for his creation. I also understand that there is hierarcy in heaven so it´s logic to have an organised arrangement in earth. I´d appreciate you could explain this better for me.
Will there be a final test? You wrote this (The Babylonic WT captivity) is the greatest deceit from Satan. But also, I understood, you say there´ll be a final test. Is that the attack of Gog and Magog? Will you, the anointed ones, be free of it? Is it only for us?
How shall I include Jesus in my prayers? Can I thank him? How can I be sure YHWH likes my prayers?
I´ve changed a lot the way, the words and expressions I use in my prayers. But I want to improve.
Have you read the book of Enoch? I really believe that it is inspired. I also read the lost epistle for Laodicea, and the book of wisdom of Solomon, and I think they´re inspired too. The book of Enoch is really strange, different, but fits a lot with the scriptures. I ask you this because you quoted that the 66 books of the Bible could have a meaning related to the number of the beast, the truth and the lie. So that would leave out the books I mentioned. I hope you can give me your opinion on this.
This is an extra: how shall we understand the books of the judges and Esther? The book of the judges is like a list of mustn´ts. The book of Esther seems (to my eyes) disconnected from the rest.
Finally, I can see that Saul and David set a "symbolic drama" like Hagar and Sarah. Do you have anything to say about this?
Excuse me If I´ve been rude or impolite. Believe me that I´ve tried to write you the kindest I can. I find it difficult to say what I want and not be misunderstood.
-----------------------------

My partial reply:
Now I will start to answer your questions, as simple as I can. Please read the scriptures when you reach them.

Thousand Years: This is a symbolic era. It is the period of time that Jesus has his kingdom over his anointed congregation (Eph.1:22; Col.1:18). That started in the first century (Luke22:69; Ps.110:1; 1Cor.15:25) and ends when Satan is released from the abyss (Rev.20:7). Satan's release causes the great tribulation to God's anointed people (Rev.20:7-10; Luke21:20-22,24; Rev.13:10,7; Col.2:8) because Satan uses the false prophet and wild beast, to mislead and conquer the anointed kings of the earth (Rev.16:13-16; 1Tim.4:1; Matt.24:4-5,24-25) (Rev.16:14; 5:9-10; 1:5). Those who come through this great test/tribulation, start to fight the demonic lies and battle with Jesus for the truth (Rev.16:13-16; 17:14; 19:11,14,8; 2Cor.10:3-5). That is Armageddon.
https://armageddon-obadiah.blogspot.com/
I don't know why you ask if the Thousand Years is the same as the heavenly hope, but if I understand you, the answer to that would be, No.
Be like angels: Most people do not know, that "angel" is a Greek word. It simply means, "messenger" (2Cor.4:1,5,13; 1Cor.4:1; 2Tim.4:2). God turns those who are born again as spirit, into spirits (Rom.8:9; Eph.2:6; Heb.1:7; 2:16; John3:6; 1Peter1:23). God's angels, are his messengers who are spirit. That is what the anointed become, right now inside their body of flesh. They are called to be messengers of the truth, and they are born again as spirit. God's temple of living stones (1Pet.2:5,9-10; Eph.2:20-22) is a priesthood that will serve mankind, forever (Rev.21:3; 22:3-5). The spirit place is not physical. Those who are born of both flesh and spirit and are alive in both, can be in both at once. But flesh and spirit are not the same. If you are only flesh, than you are in a place of flesh.
It is true, that those who are born as spirit, share in the divine nature, and become God's sons. They do become gods (theos).
Please see this, at 2Pet.1:4; John10:34-35; Ps.82:6; Gal.3:26

Not Anointed: There is nothing wrong with those who have not been chosen to be anointed by God's spirit. Please think about this.... Why does Jesus have a bride? Why does God appoint and anoint His priests and kings?
Jesus and his bride will have children for the new creation. Jesus is the new Adam. Jesus bride is the new Eve. They are the beginning of a new creation that is free from corruption, sin, and death. The children are not the mother. There is nothing wrong with this. What matters, is that you obey your father and mother, so that you can remain in the family and keep the life that your spiritual parents are teaching you. When our parents give us life, there is no need to be jealous of the marriage that our parents enjoy.
When God anoints a priest or king, it is for that priest or king to serve God's nation. That was the job of priest or king. It is wonderful, to belong to God's nation, even if you are not a priest or king of that nation.

God's organization: God's representation in the earth, is His Temple, made out of His priests (1Pet.2:5,9; Mal.2:7). The hierarchy, is the body of Christ. Jesus is the head. The apostles and prophets are the foundation (Eph.2:20-22; Rev.1:20), and the congregations are the support (lampstand Rev.1:20; Matt.5:14-15) to the present prophet (star, torch, lamplight, flame -- Heb.1:7; John5:35). The prophets gives God's message to all (Jer.35:15; Eze.2:7; Rev.11:3). The household/lampstand of that prophet, spread that message in support (Rev.22:17; Heb.6:10).

The Final Test: The final test, is the great tribulation. It is Satan's final great lie, that comes through the false prophet (governing body) and it's beast (organization). When we are taken into the organization because we believe that lie, that it is directed by God's spirit... then we come to the test. In the end, will we remain idolaters? Or, will we realize that only God deserves our worship, obedience, and service? Will we take a stand, that we only follow the words of our Father? Or, will we obey and believe every lie coming from men? Will we make the doctrine of men, more important than the Bible? Will we follow men as our ruler, rather than God and Jesus? That is the test that we find ourselves in, after joining the organization.
That test is now. Gog and Magog are, the hoards belonging to the Watchtower. It is the leaders and their princely followers (Rev.9:7; 13:15). Satan created this test, because he wants to destroy the remaining ones of the anointed seed of the woman (Rev.12:17,15).
earth-swallows-satans-river
The test is for them, but all those in the Watchtower, also are exposed to that test. The only way for the anointed to be rescued, is if God's spirit wakes them up, and then they join Jesus in the battle for truth. The only way for those who are not anointed to be rescued, is if God's spirit wakes them up, gives them spiritual sight, and they go to feed on the faithful, who have been slain for truth (Luke17:37; Rev.11:7; 6:9-11; 19:14). If people go to the faithful to be fed, they will be accepting their invitation to the marriage feast.

Prayer: Jesus helped us with prayer, at Matt.6:5-13. You can also look at Luke11:1-13 and Eph.6:18.
Now that you are learning more about God's work in the present time, your prayers can have more meaning, and you will know better, what to ask for in accord with Matt.6:10.

Bible books: Satan knows the Bible (Luke4:10). He is always working to muddy the waters of truth (Eze.34:18-19; 32:2; Isa.27:1). He twists the scriptures in the hope that the truth of the Bible will be hidden. Yet he makes the lies, resemble the truth, so that he can deceive those seeking the truth. -- While books that are outside the Bible, may appear to be connected to the scriptures... that is not a reason to accept them as a part of the Bible. If they are genuine, they will not contain anything that contradicts the scriptures or the teaching of spirit and of Jesus. Yes, I have read from Enoch, and have found error in it.

Esther and Judges: 2Tim3:16-17 reads; "16 All Scripture is inspired by God[a] and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."
While we personally, may still be learning the meaning and benefit of a Bible book, this does not mean that the book is of no benefit, or that the benefit that we presently can perceive, is the only benefit that it contains. There is much symbolism and prophecy in all the Bible books, to be useful to us today...
"For whatever was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that we may have hope through endurance and through the encouragement from the Scriptures." (Rom.15)
"11 These things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our instruction, on whom the ends of the ages have come." (1Cor.10)

David and Saul: Yes, both David and Saul were men, and they had the common nature of men. What happened to both of them, can happen to any of God's servants, priests, and kings. Saul and David are a good example of what is happening today, with the governing body and other anointed. The governing body are seeking to kill through disfellowshipping, any who endanger their position. They do not want to respect that God has anointed others to replace them. Yet David did sin by adultery. The anointed today commit spiritual adultery (Rev.2:20; 13:7-8). Yet like David, God will consider them faithful, after they repent in sackcloth (Rev.11:3; 7:14).
