The insights you request regarding the kings of North and South (found in your cited verses, Dan.11:40-45), are too many to give in one letter... because the backdrop circumstances of these prophecies, must be understood first.
First I will tell you, that these powers are spiritual... not physical or worldly political governments.
This is referring to God's people and their spiritual enemies.
In order to comprehend the full application of Daniel's prophecies, much background learning is necessary.
I will post your cited verses below, and give you some scriptures to consult, which scriptures are connected to, and help to interpret the identities you inquire about.
A correct interpretation, requires an inclusion of the context; So, I will also copy verses 31-39.
Even a surface examination of these prophecies, is intense.
Understanding these prophecies will come to you in a more manageable way, if you follow a progressive examination of the blog's posts, which are designed to make the information more manageable.
For now, I will insert the scriptures that aid in the interpretation of the identities, and those citations will be links. If you click on them, you can read the all the cited verses in that group. If you hover over an individual scripture, it should pop up.
It will be difficult for you to perceive how all the scripture references are connected, without first doing much reading. As you read each post at the blog (using
the search box), these things will be explained in a more plain way. Before we can do algebra, we must first learn addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. They are the building blocks.
It is the same way with understanding clearly, prophecy. The full, detailed picture, can be gained only by learning the foundational pieces, first.
Your questioning about Daniel, is more about an advanced consideration of the finished mystery and completed picture. All the prophecies pertaining to the time of the end, are best taken together because they compliment one another. Overall understanding is not gained through a small piece.
None-the-less, I will start you off with some Bible keys, and hope that you will later step back and learn the basics, first.
Even though you really need a study session for each verse; I will give you what I can within the brief reply that you request.
Some references and sections are just too involved to comment on briefly.

(https://pearl-restraint.blogspot.com/)You ask to comprehend the meat before taking in and growing by means of milk, but because you ask, I am offering some helpful scriptures. I do hope that you will start out your search, by taking in "milk" rather than "meat"
(1Cor. 3:2; 1Pet. 2:2; Heb.5:13-14). I suggest the supplemental links contained in this post.

If you are willing to consider a Bible interpretation, rather than being guided by the construct of Satan's governments; you will see that the scriptures do indeed provide an interpretation... one that is fully being fulfilled.
ReplyDeleteRussia as the king of the North, is not trampling God's priesthood.
Jesus is king of kings, yet he refused Satan when offered the Devil's world dominion. He said that his kingdom (of kings) was no part of this world. The kings under Jesus, are his royal priesthood.
Rev.1:5-6 reads;
"5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, 6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father – to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen."
Rev.5:9-10 reads;
"9 And they sang a new song, saying:
‘You are worthy to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
and with your blood you purchased for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.
10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God,
and they will reign on the earth.’
The kingdom of Jesus, and the kings over which he reigns, are not of this world over which Satan rules.
When we read that the kings of the earth are gathered to Armageddon,
we must realize that this is a spiritual battle between the wheat and weeds... the seed of the woman and the seed of Satan... the agents/messengers/angels of Satan who bear his deceptive doctrines, and the agents/messengers/angels of Christ's truths (Gen.3:15; Rev.12:7; 20:7-9; 16:13-14; 17:14; 19:14).
1Tim.4:1; Rev.13:7
So, who is against the faithful anointed?
Is it Russia?
DeleteWho is causing the anointed to be taken captive to demonic deception, and becoming slaves to the laws of the Beast?
Russia?
I am with the anointed. Russia is not a threat to our faithfulness, or our losing our crown/reward of life.
Please do not form your conclusions until you afford yourself more time to consider more information.
When Jesus told us to get a new wine skin to hold new wine,
he is advising us to suspend the beliefs we have, and to be willing to have new beliefs.
Please consider what the meaning of the mark of the beast, is.
We are told that it us put on the hand and forehead. (Rev.13:16)
If we are physical minded and searching Satan's world for evidence of this, we will not find the truth.
If we walk by faith in the Bible, rather than by sight, we will find the truth.
Deut.11:18 tells us the meaning of being marked on the hand and forehead.
"18 Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them as a sign on your foreheads."
Can you see, that plainly, those symbolic marks represent the teachings we obey... the tenets that guide us, and the master we slave for. Those marked by the beast, have submitted their lives to be guided by the doctrines of the Beast. The anointed are taken captive to those tenets (Rev.13:10; Luke21:24; Col.2:8)<< PLEASE READ THESE.
Is this Russia?
The king of the North (4th beast) who tramples God's sanctuary in Daniel, is the same Gentile beast of Rev.13:7 that tramples the sanctuary (Rev.11:2).
If you are an x-jw... you should know who the false prophet is, who has mislead the anointed.
You should know who the iron/wild beast/man of lawlessness/king of the North is, who has taken authority and power over God's royal priesthood/Temple, through misleading doctrines...
and which beast is overseen and controlled by the false prophet/harlot/king of the South.
Russia has no influence over the anointed worldwide, such as the WT and it's Governing body (Rev.13:7-8).
Even if Russia did... it could not effect the faithful anointed. It could only "kill the body".
Through Jesus' words in Revelation; he is much more concerned with the spiritual threats and faithfulness of his kingdom members. He is much more concerned with their tolerating being mislead (Rev.2:20; 2Cor.11:2-4,12-15,20).
Each person is now choosing to side with lies or truth. If you read Rev.16:13-16, you will see that the battle of Armageddon is about being mislead by falsehood. Those who have not abdicated their love of Bible truth, will turn to God's Word for understanding... not to Satan's world, which he is using to fabricate a counterfeit fulfillment of prophecy.
I can only hope that you will shelf world events and confidence in your own intellect and perception,
to pursue the wisdom of God and the keys it provides to open our understanding of prophecy.
Please form your conclusions, after learning. and not seek to mold your learning, to your pre-conceived conclusion.
I can only ask and hope. The rest is up to you.
If you look to Satan's world for the truth, you will not find it.
Love in Christ,
Pearl
