"Tails" / "stingers" / "scorpions"

In speaking of the "Locust-Scorpions" who "torment" the "unsealed men";
Rev.9:10 reads:
 "They had tails with stingers, like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment the men for five months."




"THEY HAD TAILS"

Rev.9:10 starts by saying that the oppressing captors of the unsealed, have tails.
God's Word graces us with what Christ it telling us here. "Tails are those in servitude...those who follow the direction of "heads"..."heads" who are **in a position to provide... causing the "tails" to be dependent upon the "heads" (see Deut.28:13,44; **Luke 22:25). This is fulfilled by these Locust-Scorpions, due to their shameful subjection to those who are false spiritual leaders (Rev.9:8 A;  1Cor. 11:14)...the ruling False Prophet / Harlot (Rev.13:11; 16:13,14; 8:10,11; 9:1; Micah 3:9; Isa.28:14; Hosea 9:1; Rev.2:20,21). There is a succession of "Heads"/Harlots, who are all under their mother covenant/"woman", of death (Rev.17:9,10,5; Isa.28:14,15 --see link: "Who is the 'woman'?"). These "Heads"/"hills"/kings, are the seven governing "heads" of the Wild Beast (Rev.13:1; Gen.41:6,7; Rev.17:3,7,9). The Locust-Scorpions are in subjection to, and under the direction of, that last False Prophet /"Head"/"hill"/king/harlot/Wormwood/Fallen Star. In servitude to that last Harlot, these Locust-Scorpions prophesy lies themselves (Isa.9:15,16; Rev.16:13). This messenger capacity brings us to the next phrase...

"WITH STINGERS"

When these Locust-Scorpions falsely prophesy the Harlots wormwood lies, what is the result to those who accept/receive/ingest those false doctrines?
Although the Harlot's lies may taste as sweet as truth (Ps.119:103,98; Eze.3:3), the result is death (Rev.10:10; Prov.5:3,4,5; 7:27; 2:16,17,18,19; Isa.28:14,15; Rev.8:11; Deut.32:32; Rev.17:2).
Since the "Locust-Scorpions" are the messengers/bearers of the false prophet's lethal lies; how is it that their "tails" have "stingers"? (see 1Cor. 15:55)
As long as the "unsealed" Chosen Ones, remain in subjection to these agents/sons,  of Satan/destruction,  
     (2Thess. 2:3; Rev.9:11;  1Cor. 5:5) 
     ("son" resembles "father" --Rev.12:3; 13:1,7; John 8:44) 
     (the Locust-scorpion minions of the final Harlot)
... they remain un-ransomed, and under the power of death/abyss/pit, and it's agents.
[For many of these unsealed, this condition of captivity will change (Matt.25:6; Rev.9:13,14; Luke 4:18;  1Cor. 15:55) due to an "East wind" (Hosea 13:14,15; Gen.41:6; Rev.16:12; 7:2)].
These "tails" then, carry within them the venom of demonic deception, whose "stingers" cause spiritual captivity, paralysis, and death 
(Eph.2:1; Rev.3:1,2,3; 13:7,10;  2Cor. 11:20,3,4; Isa.42:22,23; 51:14,16,21,22,23; Gal.5:7; Rom.6:16;  1Cor. 7:23; Gal.1:10; Col.3:24). (Rev.9:7,8,2,3; Joel 1:6,7,4; 2:2,4,10; Luke 21:20,24; 19:43)
While enslaved to obedience toward these masters, these Chosen Ones remain outside the headship of Christ, and "unsealed".

"with stingers LIKE SCORPIONS"

Satan sees to it that those who have God's favor, are surrounded by his agents. God allows it as punishment for this idolatrous subjection to Gentiles. These stinging "scorpions" are not literal, but are a symbol for those human agents who rebel against God and the faithful Chosen Ones (Eze.2:6;  1Pet. 5:8; Luke 22:31; Rev.9:7 C). These are Satan's agents of tribulation (LINK(greatest tribulation-Why)), while the final Chosen Ones trek through Satan's "wilderness" of testing (Deut.8:15;  1Kings 12:11; Rev.9:3,11) (Matt.4:4; Rev.12:6; Luke 22:31). Yet those who choose loyalty to God despite the threat of death (Rev.13:15; 11:7; 6:9), will arise from Satan's dominion of the abyss...be set free from the power of it's agents...and be sealed (Luke 10:19; Deut.8:15,16; Rev.2:17; 12:14).
Although the power of these scorpions includes the sting of death, God's power can set those of faithful heart, free (Jer.1:19; 3:12; 31:11,2; Isa.51:1,7,10,12,14,16,22,23,3,4,5,6; Ps.144:1,7; 10:15 (2Thess. 2:8); Ps.10:15,14 (John 14:18); Ps.35:10; 18:16,17,19; 30:3; Job 33:30,24,28; Ps.94:17; Matt.24:22; Isa.38:17,18,19,20; 54:10; Mal.3:1; Zech.4:9,7).

I am copying a question from the FORUM, for those who many not have read it there. I have made additions to it, here.
I received a letter, to ask if I had seen this excerpt from the Watchtower:

"Toward the end of the first century C.E., the apostle John received a vision of seven angels, each of whom sounded a trumpet blast. When the fifth angel blew his trumpet, John saw “a star” fall from heaven to earth. The “star” had a key in his hand with which he opened the shaft of an abyss. Thick smoke poured out, and from this came a plague of locusts. Rather than ravage vegetation, the symbolic locusts swarm against “those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.” (Rev. 9:1-4) John no doubt knew how devastating a locust swarm could be. Had not locusts plagued ancient Egypt in Moses’ day? (Ex. 10:12-15) The figurative locusts that John saw well illustrate anointed Christians proclaiming Jehovah’s powerful judgment messages. They are joined now by millions of companions with an earthly hope. Little wonder that our united preaching undermines the authority Satan exercises through his worldwide empire of false religion."

The person who sent it to me, asked:
So in essence, if the GB are saying that the locusts are the 144,000 then surely they must see who the locusts king is, or don't they??
Their king is the angel from the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon—the Destroyer. (Rev.9:11; Isa.33:1)

My reply to him:

I will review this statement of the "WT" in segments, and add some considerations. 

"When the fifth angel blew his trumpet, John saw “a star” fall from heaven to earth."
Notice that they do not provide a scripture at the end of that sentence, to show who that fallen star is. That's because if the previous account of that fallen star is read (Rev.8:10-11), one can see that this is "Wormwood"... who poisons the waters. Every reference to wormwood in the Bible, is bad, and refers to leaders of God's people who mislead into idolatry (Jer.23:15; Amos 5:7) (Rev.2:20). They do not lead people to Jesus Christ, despite what they may claim (2Cor. 11:13,4,3;  2Thess. 2:1-2; Matt.24:4-5,24-25; Rev.13:11,15,8,7). "Falling", is not a good thing (1Cor. 10:12;  2Pet. 3:17).
To clarify, if the scripture the WT provides at the end of their comments is read (Rev.9:1-4), it can be seen that this occurs when the FIFTH angel sounds his trumpet... and it tells us that the star has already fallen (past tense, "had fallen"). It is when the THIRD angel sounds it's trumpet, that the star actually falls, at Rev.8:10-11). There it is clearly seen, that the fallen star, is "Wormwood". When the "WT" states... "When the fifth angel blew his trumpet, John saw “a star” fall from heaven to earth."; that is a lie. John does not see the star fall when the fifth angel blows his trumpet. (Rev.9:1) John saw the star fall, when the third angel blew his trumpet (Rev.8:10).

Note that the FORTH angel, shows that the heavenly bodies are darkened following the fall of Wormwood (Rev.8:12) 
(the bitterness of Wormwood, is associated with spiritual harlotry Prov.5:3-5 << literally, "bitter as Wormwood").
The darkening of the heavens at Rev.8:12, is also the result of the star that has already fallen, when it releases the "locust-scorpions" (Rev.9:2).

Also notice the deceptive strategy in the way the WT words this phrase...

In truth, we have seen that 
*John did not see the star fall from heaven when the fifth angel blew his trumpet. It clearly says that it already "had fallen" before the fifth angel blew his trumpet (Rev.9:1).
*If we want to see the Bible's depiction of when the star actually falls, we must retrace our steps back, to Rev.8:10-11.
Just as Prov.5:3-5 pointed out, 
the mouth (teachings) of a Harlot seems as sweet as honey (Ps.19:9-10; 119:103), but the after effect to those who ingest them, is as bitter as wormwood (Rev.10:10-11; Prov.5:3-5; Rev.13:11).

"The “star” had a key in his hand with which he opened the shaft of an abyss."
 Once again, the WT uses deceptive strategy by it's phrasing. They state that the star "had a key", as if it already had it before "falling". No, according to Rev.9:1; first it fell, and then it was given the key. So their wording has the star presently falling and already having the key, at the blowing of the fifth trumpet. But the scriptures indicate that the star had previously fallen, and afterward, received the key during the fifth trumpet.
Because they lack holy spirit, they just assume what seems obvious.... that there is only one key, and that there is only one holder. That misconception results in another miscalculation... that of assuming that this key holder must be Christ (Rev.20:1). 
Is that true?
We know, that the Devil has been killing from the beginning (John 8:44; 10:10)

He opened the abyss of deception and death in Eden, and has the power to cause death, and to imprison every human to the consequence of sin, since then (Rom.5:12).
Jesus told us that he overcame the power of Satan to cause death (Heb.2:14-15; Rev.1:18). Yet death still kills. This is because salvation from the abyss is conditional, and does not come to all. Both Satan and Christ possess a key to death...
Satan opens it, and Jesus opens it... to rescue captives from it (Ps.40:2; 103:4; 49:15; Rev.12:5; Luke 4:18; Acts 26:18; Col.1:13; Ps.49:15) (Rev.13:10,7; Luke 21:24,22), or to rightly imprison there, he who created it (Prov.5:22;  2Cor. 4:4; Eph.6:12;  2Pet. 2:4; Rev.20:1-3; Prov.5:22; Col.2:15). It is my hope, that based upon the previous scriptures, readers discern that Satan's own kingdom of "darkness" (the abyss), and it's power to overcome persons by blind confusion, is rightly used against him, by Christ (Rev.20:1-3; Prov.5:22)... so that Satan himself is plunged into blind darkness... making him impotent and ignorant about how to overcome the obedient sons of light (John 1:5;  1Thess. 5:5;  1John 2:8; Luke 10:19; Acts 26:18; Col.1:13).

Yet as Rev.20:7-8 reveals; Satan will be released once again, by a keyholder (Wormwood). He will then be enabled to throw truth and light to the ground, once again (Rev.16:13-16;  1Tim. 4:1; Dan.8:12,11;  2Thess. 2:4,9-10; Rev.13:7; 11:2), by means of the disgusting thing standing in the holy place, which causes desolation to God's people (Matt.24:15; Dan.11:31-36).

Are Satan and the demons the only agents of spiritual darkness?
False prophets who mislead others, can also open Satan's pit, causing others to die (Luke 6:39; Isa.9:16;  2Tim. 3:13; Eze.14:10). When they have that authority power (key is the symbol), they too have a key to the abyss of death... to send captives there. I hope you can recognize these Biblical facts. If you don't see them clearly, let me know. (LINK)
So... Wormwood  causes people to die... to be consigned to the abyss of death -Rev.8:11. Therefore, "wormwood" also gets a key to the abyss... the authority and power to open death-causing deception, and to cause people to come under the power of death (Matt.15:14). We see three identities exercising the power of the abyss (holding keys)... Satan, Wormwood (the fallen star), and Christ.
More than one person, can "open the shaft of the abyss", if they hold a "key".
Satan can give the key (authority and power) to those who do his will... He does use people (false prophets) to open deception and death/the abyss
(Rev.13:4; Matt.4:8-9; Rev.9:1,11).

"Thick smoke poured out, and from this came a plague of locusts."
The organization always used to point to Joel for their interpretation of the locust-scorpions. That is the right place to turn, for the many parallel traits between the locust-scorpions and the locusts of Joel  (LINK).
The WT has apparently stopped using the references in Joel, because both I and Obadiah have published the conclusion which Joel penned. If the references are followed through to the end, we learn that God destroys the locusts, and He compensates His people for the excessive punishment they suffered 
(Luke 21:22; Zech.1:14-16; Job 2:6; Rev.9:5; 6:9) by the locust's persecution (Joel 2:25-26). 

Rather than change this false doctrine upon it's discovery, they simply divert their readers from the Bible's truth, by now resorting to a reference in Exodus, instead.
If we give scriptural consideration to the locust's scorpion tails, their nature also becomes clear 
(Rev.9:10; Eze.2:6; Luke 10:19).

God is free to discipline His own people (to "seal" them as His own slaves) (Heb.12:6; Job 23:10).
At Zech.13:9, God is said to discipline and refine "one third" before calling them His people.
If we return to Rev.9 to see how people respond to the discipline that chapter contains (including the locusts), we are told that "two thirds" do not repent/accept discipline/become refined (Rev.9:18,20-21). The "one third" is "killed" (Rev.9:15,18; 11:3,7; 6:9,11; John 16:2; Mark 13:12-14; 8:35).

Of course, they fail to see the connection to Rev.7:3.
The "vegetation" is only guarded from "ravage" until the UNsealed, become sealed (1Pet. 4:17 LINK).
Again, their lack of spirit makes them assume the obvious, which is not the deeper truth.
Although the "unsealed" seem rejected... in truth we are all unsealed, until we become so.
We see that once those faithful are sealed... the "ravage" does break out on the "vegetation" (Rev.7:3; 8:7) (Isa.5:24-25) (2Pet. 3:7; Rev.20:15).

"No doubt", John did. In fact, they are the very cause of the Greatest Tribulation (Joel 2:2; Matt.24:21-22) (greatest-tribulation).
Just because God sent locusts upon the Egyptians...
does not mean that the locusts cannot come upon God's own people for discipline as well. The WT seems to think that discipline is only for others, that they could not be among the "unsealed" men, and so they conclude that the proud and punishing locust-scorpions, must be themselves (Amos 9:8-10;  1Thess. 5:3; Rev.18:7).

As regards the rest of the paragraph....

....note that there are no scriptures (John 7:18,16-17; 16:13; Rev.22:6).
Regarding, "They are joined now by millions of companions with an earthly hope"...
   ...where is there a scripture that states that the locusts are joined by others?
   ...where is there a scripture that shows that anything comes out of the locust's mouths ("proclaiming messages")?
Are not locust's mouths known for devouring and swallowing (Nahum 3:15; Joel 1:4; Ex.10:12-14) .... not giving forth?
No, a "plague/curse" of locusts are for destroying... not proclaiming life-saving truths (John 10:10). The locust-scorpions of Rev.9 are instead said to "sting".
The Bible clearly tells us the purpose of that power (1Cor. 15:55-56) (Eze.2:6; Luke 10:19) (Rev.9:10).  Those with stingers inject sin into their victims... sin that brings forth paralysis and death (Rom. 5:12; 8:2;  1Cor. 15:56).  The identity of the "man of sin" who gains power over the unsealed anointed, is also described in 2Thess. 2:3,4; Rev.13:7; 9:10.

In stating that the TAILS have death's stingers (Rev.9:10;  1Cor.15:55,56) like scorpions (Eze.2:6);
these locusts deliver lies/sin/death, sourced in the abyss from whence they came. 
The Locust-Scorpions are in subjection to, and under the direction of, that last False Prophet/Wormwood/Fallen Star (Rev.8:10,11; 9:1,2,3). In servitude to that last Harlot, these Locust-Scorpions prophesy lies themselves (Isa.9:15,16; Rev.16:13).

The WT teaches that Jesus Christ is the Destroyer... Despite Isa.33:1 and Ex.12:23 (Job 2:6) (Luke 22:31) (1Cor. 10:10; 5:5).
Yet, what do we expect?... Remember... the Wild Beast collective of Locust-scorpions is specifically spoken of as being blasphemous (Rev.13:5-6). 
The "False prophet" who empowers that Beast to dominate the anointed (Rev.13:14-15,7), "speaks like a dragon" (Rev.13:11) and teaches "doctrines of demons" (Rev.16:13-16; 13:11;  1Tim. 4:1).

There are many more scriptures which prove these things, but I hope the ones cited here are enough to convince you beyond doubt, that the Gentile WT is the "disgusting thing, standing in a holy place" (2Thess. 2:4; Matt.24:15; Dan.11:16,21-45)

Harlot and Beast

A thought from a friend:

 Just read Rev 18:4 again and i found it very investing
that John was inspired to use the words 'my people' - i think that
proves that this organisation is 'Babylon the great'. Jehovah never
uses those words except for when speaking to or about his people.
Just thought I'd share that with you.

Thank you so much for your view of Rev.18:4. It is true. "My people" are the anointed...(Heb.8:10; Jer.31:33;  1Pet.2:9,10).
"Babylon the Great" is a covenant. Remember, it is called the "mother" of the "harlots" (Rev.17:5). "Mother"s, are Covenants (see Gal.4:26,24).

Babylon the Great, is the Covenant of Death (see Isa.28:15,18)....but this covenant is represented in the flesh, by her Harlot daughters
(Isa.1:21; Eze.16:44). These ones rule through the "wild beast". That is each harlot's power. That Beast is the Gentiles who serve her, obeying her commands. She directs them (Rev.17:3). It is the "Watchtower" organization ("Wild Beast" from the "sea" - Gentile), under the Governing Body ("wild beast" from the "earth" -Rev.13:11 -"Jew" - Rom.2:28,29; Gal.3:29).

I tell you these things, because the "organization" is not "Babylon the Great", but it's anointed leaders are in that covenant with death. This brings all the "waters", upon which the harlots sit, under this Covenant with Death (Rev.17:15). That "marriage" covenant, is with Satan. They entered into it, when they accepted the "key" (authority and power) over the Abyss of deception and death (Rev.9:1; 8:10,11). Satan gave it to these sell-out harlots (unfaithful slaves), in order to restrain the true faithful anointed, within that abyss of lies and death (Matt.24:24; Rev.12:15). That is where Satan wants all the "remaining ones of her seed" (Rev.12:4), which are the ones he has "waged war" with (Rev.12:7,11,17; 16:13,14,15,16; 17:14; 19:11,14; 20:8). 

"She"...(Babylon the Great/Covenant of Death)...through "her" harlot Babylon daughters, helps Satan to take them captive (Rev.13:7,10; Col.2:8)...by those Harlot daughters (spiritual leaders) releasing the locust/scorpions (Rev.9:1,2,3) 

(stinging with death-dealing lies Rev.9:10;  1Cor.15:55; Eze.2:6; Col.2:8; Rev.13:10).

After those who choose faithfulness, awaken and take their stand for truth,

That Wild Beast collective of locust-scorpions, does "kill" them (Rev.11:7; 13:7,14,15; 9:18; John 16:2). 

The "death" Satan prefers, is the judgment that would come from God to the Chosen ones (Matt.10:28), if they are tricked into accepting demonic lies and death, through the locust-scorpion/Gentiles (Rev.9:10;  1Cor.15:55,56,57) who trample them.
If that stinging threat doesn't work, then the faithful can be "killed", by being cut off and silenced from the midst of God's people (John 16:2; Rev.11:7; 20:4; 6:9,11) in order to mitigate the damage which the truth can do to deception. Through the Abyss, "Wormwood" has been given the power to do both (key)... take captive to demonic teaching and to silence those who are set free.

Like the leaders of God's first-century people, power is considered more valuable than truth (John 11:47,48,49,50)
The book of Revelation is symbolic. Whether this symbolic "killing" is actual disfellowshipping only (to silence them within the "Congregations"), or will turn out to be a literal murdering of the faithful; ...this has not yet been disclosed to me.

So to clarify, Babylon the Great is a covenant with death/Hades and it's king, the Destroyer (Rev.9:11; Isa.33:1). That covenant grants the receiver with all Satan's power to deceive, along with all manner of worldly reinforcements... both servants, riches, and influence.

Those in that covenant were formerly Christ's "virgins" (Rev.14:4,5; 20:4) (under the covenant of life -Gal.4:26), but they gave away that purity when they bought lies to shine in their lamps (Matt.25:8,9,11,12; Rev.9:1,2; 8:10,11; 13:17,18) ("666").

Once they exchange their purity (Rev.14:5; 3:18) (Matt.25:10;  2Cor.11:2,3,4; Rev.2:20) for untruth, they are no longer virgins, but defiled harlots.
Their precious intimacy with Christ, was sold over to Satan's desire and will (Eph.5:23; Col.2:19; Matt.4:9; Mark 10:42,41,44). Their heart has come to seek to do the will of their new owner... to be a dominating liar and a man-slayer (John 8:44; Isa.44:20;  1John 3:10,11,12,14,15; Isa.1:21). They unwittingly join with Satan in his desire to do away with the other anointed proving faithful (Mark 12:7; Micah 2:2), due to their desire to be in power over what does not rightly belong to them (Matt.20:25,26,27;  1Pet.5:3). They justify the compromise of Truth, to keep their power solidified and consolidated. The lesser ones in subjection to them who sell out, do so to keep harmony with corrupted "Wormwood", who is at the top (1Cor.6:15,16,17).

Due their desire and deeds... their loss of love for God's truth... all Chosen who compromise, become daughters of a new covenant. Satan becomes their father, and the covenant with death, their mother

Just as the virgin daughters have a promise/covenant as their mother (Gal.4:26; Rev.3:12;  2Cor.11:2,3), and later will actually become that heavenly covenant when it's promise is fulfilled (Gal.4:28; 3:29; Heb.12:22,23);
The harlot daughters have the covenant of death as their mother (Babylon the Great -Rev.17:5), and become sealed representatives of that bottomless abyss of death/Covenant, when they are sealed through their sins (Rev.17:6). This is when they mature, and go from "daughters" of their mother covenant and Satan, to ambassadors/wife of Satan / becoming the mother covenant.
  That follows the same pattern as the faithful anointed and their mother covenant. They are daughters of Jerusalem above/New Covenant (Lam.2:13; Micah 4:8; Isa.52:2; 37:22; Zeph.3:14; Rev.3:12), until they are sealed. Their heavenly hope is to actually become members of that Holy City in Heaven, installed as it's living representatives. They then become, not virgin daughters of Christ's Bride (1Thess.2:7,8;  2Cor.11:2)...but Christ's Bride herself (Eph.2:6; Rev.3:21; 21:9,10,2,3).

Just as the virgins become the Covenant of Life, upon being sealed through bearing witness to the truth/Jesus, and giving their lives for it (and therefore helping to save others)...

      (John 12:24; 15:12,13; Mark 8:35; Rom.6:5; Phil.2:17;  2Cor.12:15).
...the Harlot daughters also become the Covenant of Death, upon killing the virgins and spewing forth Satan's lies (and therefore helping to kill all who drink their poisoned waters).

Each group becomes sealed for life, or death....they either are sealed in heaven as the New Jerusalem and become the New Covenant of life for the benefit of "new earth", or they are sealed in the Abyss as the Great Harlot, drunk with the blood of the faithful witnesses and brothers of Christ, and cause the death of the entire old "earth" 

(2Pet.3:7,13; Rev.14:19; Jer.25:29,30,34; 2:21; Isa.5:7; Joel 3:13; Deut.32:32,35,36,39).

These will descend into the second death, and eternal destruction (Isa.5:14; 14:9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17; Rev.20:10,14,15). Their rule will be brief.

Those who become the Covenant of freedom and life (when the promise/covenant is fulfilled), will ascend into the heavens and immortality. The heavens are not a physical place, but a spiritual standing that can exist anywhere. They will rule as kings on the earth with Christ, forever (Rev.20:12; Dan.7:9,10,21,22,18). Their power and glory will be of grace and truth, reflecting the humility and servitude of Jesus (John 1:14; 18:33,34,37).

So I am hoping that you might see more clearly, that  all those under the unfaithful leaders [anointed who enter into the Covenant of death (by accepting the "key" from Satan)], are included and come under that same covenant of Death ...by being in subjection to these unfaithful ones.
This is why God's Word tells the other anointed, "Get out of her"! (the covenant of death, Babylon the Great). They do this by removing the mark of her beast from their "heads" and "hands"...no longer thinking her lies, nor obeying her un-scriptural directions (Rev.13:16).

Babylon the Great is not the organization, but the covenant which the leaders of the organization have entered into (as well as all those who feed from them). By being in subjection to those harlots who did directly enter into that covenant, all her "children" also, are consigned to death (Rev.2:20,21,22,23; Hosea 4:6).
Within the book of Revelation, the "organization" is singled out and represented by, the "wild beast" who those harlot leaders ride, sit enthroned upon, and direct.
Accordingly, we know that it is prophesied that the organization will turn on the Governing Body at some point, and become the eighth king without them (Rev.17:11). This is already happening, as the wild beast/man of lawlessness, has already raised himself over the anointed who are lesser ones than the Governing Body...Yet, they have also begun to raise themselves over the Governing Body, in that the magazines and books are now largely written by non-anointed ones. 

The Governing Body has appointed the Gentile elders (Rom.2:28,29) to take over the job that Jesus assigned and expects of the anointed priests. The governing body have "appointed priests for themselves" (2Chron.13:6,9) to serve over the symbolic "sanctuary of the temple of God" (2Thess.2:4;  1Cor.3:16;  1Pet.2:5,9; Eph.2:20,21,22). 

Spiritual Gentiles (non-anointed) have taken over the job of anointed priests (Eze.44:6,7,8,9; La.1:10; Dan.11:31; Matt.24:15,16;  1Cor.6:2,3). They will pay dearly for this disrespect to YHVH. The harlot replaces the anointed priests whom God has chosen, because the Gentiles obey them better.

 Why? The interests of the Gentiles is not one of enduring an ignominious death for truth (Matt.25:6; Heb.13:13; 12:2; Phil.3:10; John 16:2), but they are enticed by power, dominion, prominence, and prestige (Dan.11:39,21,22,23). For this very reason, their subjection to the last harlot, will change (Rev.17:16,17).

The Beast has not yet violently turned on it's leadership. That is yet future. But this preliminary loss of power and position is moving toward facilitating that.
So,
Babylon the Great = The Covenant of Death
                                 The daughter harlots of it, become the
                                 Covenant of death, once they are

                                 (through the persecution of the faithful

The Organization = The "Wild Beast" who is ridden by the

The seven mountains/hills where the woman sits on top = This is the antithesis of the "seven congregations" (Rev.1:20; 17:9,10). This is the entire scope (7) of the power of all the harlots (and all those who exercise the power of the Covenant of Death). 

Just as each of the "seven Congregations" had over them an anointed star/angel (Rev.1:20; Phil.2:15; Dan.12:3; Matt.5:15; 24:16; Eze.36:8); so too each "mountain"/king of the Harlot Covenant is a "fallen" star (Rev.17:9,10; 8:10; 9:1) and false prophet (Rev.13:11; 19:20). 

As the Head of the seven congregations, Christ is in the midst of the seven golden lampstands (Rev.2:1); Satan is in the midst of the seven heads/kings/hills upon which the mother covenant of death, sits enthroned (Rev.17:9). Satan's spirit is in the midst of the toxic smoke of the abyss, which darkens and veils all "light" (Rev.9:2; Eph.2:2; 2Cor.4:4). 

As Jesus is King of his anointed kings (Rev.1:5), Satan is king of all those in association with his abyss of lies and death (Rev.9:11).
While each anointed star serves the congregation of sheep who they are responsible for; the Organized Beast and Harlot head, serve all who are marked by the Beast....for their domain is "all the earth" (Rev.13:8) at once.

Now that I have written you regarding Rev.18:4, I wanted to write you more personally.
My circumstances are not all those of support. I am losing my daughter, and it is very dramatic and painful. She is like your wife. The whole Congregation is in an uproar against me. I believe that our heavenly Father does not let us be tested beyond what we can bear. Perhaps this is why my husband has changed from being abusive to being supportive through the worst of the Organization's persecution against me.
EVERYONE who now writes me and has the real truth (and is still in the organization) is being unjustly and intensely persecuted also. This includes by close family members (Matt.10:36,37,38,39).

I wish I could post an article made of just all these letters, but those who write about this are afraid of the "beast", and being identified (Rev.13:15,16) as not in subjection to it, so they ask me not to post it.
They do not realize how common it has become, and that it is time to "flee" (Matt.24:15,16; Rev.18:4; Zech.2:6,7). The approval of family and friends is the least of our problems. We must now run for our lives (and not look back-- Luke 17:31,32,33). Where do we run? Jesus' disciples asked the same question...Luke 17:37.
Those who have been blessed with spiritual insight, are to go to feed where those who have been killed/"slain", are providing spiritual food (Job 39:27,28,29,30; Matt.24:28 > RSV).

 Below is an excerpt from a letter. The question was about the role of the "Organization" in the spiritual lives of anointed. What the Bible indicates about this is important for everyone to be aware of...

I wrote:

"I was thinking about how you said Robert King states that the Organization has been used to gather the anointed. Yet if we think about the scriptures..they don't indicate that as being the arrangement set up by God. The anointed are spoken of as being drawn into Jesus body...into the new temple of living stones. That is not an earthly organization headed by men, but a heavenly hope to become part of New Jerusalem. Christ is supposed to be Head of the anointed congregation.  Jer.10:23 states that "It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step". Certainly then, it does not belong to man to direct the steps of other Chosen ones. Such an arrangement is injurious (Ec.8:9)...and against the teaching of Christ (Matt.23:8,10,12; Mark10:42,43).
This set up causes chosen who are baited in (by the seeming promotion of Truth), to unwittingly subject themselves to men instead of Christ...most of those men being spiritual Gentiles, unanointed... hearts that have not been circumcised by Holy Spirit (Rom.2:29). This results in the invited ones leaving the body of Christ (the True Tent), in favor of union with a Harlot and her own priests (Eze.44:6,7,8,9; Matt.24:15; 1Cor.6:15). They then disown the one who bought them with his blood, in favor of a different Master; and they are therefore brought into the "Covenant of Death". This is the clear message of the "ten kings", the "wild beast", the "locust scorpions", and the "Harlot" of the Book of Revelation. The Organization is the counterfeit Mt. Zion (Isa.2:2,3; Matt.21:21; Rev.8:8). Those who cling to it commit spiritual fornication.
 Were the Chosen always overcome by demonic deception? No...See Isa.63:18. There you will see that "for a little while" God's Temple was in the possession of anointed proving faithful. No more...(see Rev.11:2). Through "Wormwood", Satan has highjacked Jehovah's temple (Rev.8:10,11; 9:1,11)...for the purpose of "waging war" with the "remaining ones of" the woman's "seed" (Rev.12:17). Once the anointed become subject to mere men, Satan can dominate them throught those men. He is the "god of this system of things", and until the Kingdom truly arrives; he holds all power over the earth and all the powers within it (1John5:19; Matt.4:8,9; 1Cor.15:24). This is why we are to be "no part of the world", ESPECIALLY when it comes to wielding worldly power over our anointed brothers (see Mark10:42,43).
 But as regards those like your parents and my daughter....what about those not anointed? If you read Rev.12:15,16; you will see that the "earth" swallows Satan's lies that were meant to drown the "woman". They are totally mislead by them. Some anointed (a symbolic one-third) are also mislead (Matt.24:24) by this river of lies. That torrent, is the Great Tribulation, which is also compared to a tempest, which will cause "one third" of the "stars of heaven" (chosen ones Rev.3:1) to be thrown down, because their fruitage is unripe (Rev.6:13; 12:4a,9; 3:2; Matt.21:18,19,20,21)
It is unripe, because the drunken steward over them (and his locust scorpion minions pearl-revelation9.blogspot.com), have hindered and restrained them from obeying their real Master. Christ commands them to produce their own fruits (John15:8). Those fruits are teachings that result from knowledge, given them by the Holy Spirit; so that the sheep may have the proper food at the proper time (1John2:20,27; Matt.12:33-37; John7:16). Those in subjection to the steward and his organization, are told that they must not teach anything but what they are handed, by them and their organization of unanointed (Rev.13:17).
 Does this clarify an answer to your question about this organization, and those in it? This organization was not around to gather in any other anointed for the past 2,000 years. This is not the means by which Jehovah selects, trains, or unites the anointed. The Bible makes clear that Jehovah draws us to Christ (John6:44). No matter how the GB claims that they are the same as Christ, they never will be him. Those that follow them, are lost (Matt.24:23-25). Jehovah allows Satan to test those He called to inherit the Kingdom, according to His justice (Luke22:31; Job.1:12; 2:4; 2Tim.3:12; John16:33; Rom.8:17; 2Tim.2:12) (Deut.13:1-4). Soon, all those called by the spirit of God, will have completed their testing (Rev.12:10,11) by a symbolic death for truth (Rev.6:9-11).

What is "thousand years"?

The "thousand years" is a symbol,
for how God blesses the "kingship" (divine authority and power)
 of each servant (Isa.60:22). 
Christ is the foremost king and servant of God. He is Lord of the Sabbath "Day" (Matt.12:8;  2Pet.3:8). That "Day" of Christ's "thousand year" growth of his kingdom (Matt.13:31-32; Dan.2:34-35; John 16:33), started in the first century. 
Jesus said for this he was born and came into the "earth"... "to bear witness to the truth." That was the power of his "kingdom" (John 18:37). 
Stephen saw Jesus at God's right hand, as Jesus himself claimed to be (Acts 7:56; Luke 22:69). The Bible tells us why he becomes God's "right hand" (Ps.110:1; Acts 2:35-36)... 
to subdue all the enemies of truth. 
Do we have proof, that this sitting at God's right hand, is his actual ruling in his thousand year kingdom? 
Yes. 
Please examine carefully, 1Cor.15:25: "For ***he must reign until***  he has put all his enemies under his feet.". 
-- Do you see from this last scripture, that Jesus is reigning while his enemies are being subdued? 
-- But the Bible tells us of a time, when Jesus is no longer subduing his enemies (The Great Tribulation), because his Temple is being "trampled by Gentiles", 
the heavenly illuminaries "sun", "moon", and "stars" are darkened, and "the power of the holy ones is brought to nothing" 
(Dan.12:7; 7:25; 8:13; 11:16,22,31-32,33-34,35-36,37;  2Thess.2:4; Rev.11:2; 13:7,10; Luke 21:24) 
All this was prophesied to occur, due to Satan's release from the abyss, the outpouring of demonic spirits, lying signs, and wonders; the fall of "wormwood" (Rev.8:10-11; 9:1; Isa.14:12-13; Rev.2:5;  2Pet.3:17), and her releasing the locust-scorpion army from the abyss (Rev.9:2-3; Joel 2:2; Jer.13:16). That is the "hour" in which Michael must stand up for his people (Dan.12:1; Rev.12:7) to save the remnant (the Great Crowd), and bring the demonic powers of 
the man-of-lawlessness (the Wild Beast), 
and the false prophet (last Harlot) 
and Satan himself, 
to nothing (2Thess.2:8; Rev.20:9-10; Dan.8:24-25).

"It is a certainty that the Temple of God (1Cor.3:16; Eph.2:20,21,22) is trampled in the time of the end (Rev.11:2; Dan.12:4,1; Matt.24:9; 10:22; Rev.11:9,10,7; John 16:2; Dan.11:33; Rev.13:10)
(Isa.5:5; Jer.12:10; Rev.11:2; 13:7). Why does God allow this to happen?
Jesus tells us why God would subject His own Temple priests (1Pet.2:5,9) to endure this discipline (Mal.2:7-9; 3:1,2,3; Eze.44:10; Rev.13:8; Hosea 4:6; Rev.2:23,20; Zech.13:9; Luke 21:22).
Matt.5:13 reads;
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot."
God allows His Temple priests to be trampled, because they have lost their "saltiness" (Num.18:19;  2Chron.13:5; Lev.2:13).
These have abdicated their royal and priestly authority (Luke 10:19; Rev.17:17) and have allowed the Beast to remove their continual sacrifice ("constant feature") (Luke 10:19; Rev.17:13) as priests and kings, in favor of subjecting themselves to the Image / Idol, of the Wild Beast! (Rev.13:7,8;  2Thess.2:4; Dan.8:11,24,25; 11:31,36; 12:11) (2Cor.11:20; Col.2:8; Rev.13:10,7,8). For these offenses against their God, they must be disciplined and refined! 

They are disciplined, by means of the very gods they have subjected themselves to...
the Gentile (not anointed "Jews" -Rom.2:28,29; Gal.3:29) 

    Wild Beast (Rev.11:2; 13:15,1,4 "from 'sea'" -Isa.57:20)

and 

    the false prophet that reigns above it / them.

What is Sheol / Hades ?

Understanding Sheol and Hades results in deeper comprehension of many Bible teachings.
It is first good to establish that the Hebrew word Sheol, is the equivalent of the Greek, Hades.
We see that demonstrated by a comparison of Acts 2:27 (Hades - Greek) and Psalm 16:10 (Sheol - Hebrew).

The Greek word Hades (G-86)

consists of a combination of two Greek words--
{From ἄλφα (G1) (as negative particle) and εἴδω(G1492)}.

The combination (G1-"not" + G1492-"perceiving"), means, to be conceptually blind... unable to perceive spiritual light *(Mark 4:12; Eph. 4:18)*. Hades is the symbolic and spiritual consignment, of those in spiritual darkness...

 (Eph. 4:18;   2Cor. 4:3,4,6; John 12:35;  1John 1:6;  1Thess. 5:4)

... not "the common grave of mankind", as we were deceived into believing by the "wormwood" of the "Watchtower", and other teachers who do not have the light of truth (Rev. 8:10-11; Jer. 23:15-16; James 3:1; Matt. 12:36)(Mal. 2:7; Rev. 5:10;  1Pet. 2:9; Acts 26:18). 

True, those in the realm of Hades, are considered spiritually dead (Eph. 2:1), which is of greater importance than being physically dead 

(John 6:63 NIV ; Matt. 10:28>"Gehenna", not "Hades").

The "realm" of those who occupy this darkened condition, is symbolically depicted in the book of Revelation, as the abyss 

(Rev. 9:1; Rev. 11:7) and as the sea / deep (Rev. 11:7; Rev. 13:1; Isa. 57:20; Jude 1:13).

Accordingly, Hades can be occupied by those who are conscious, but considered spiritually dead (Eph. 2:1; Ephesians 2:5; Col. 2:13). Christ was there after his death (Rom. 10:7; Acts 2:31) in order to preach to it's occupants (1Pet. 3:19-20; Jude 1:6;  2Pet. 2:4)  (Isa. 49:9) (Isaiah 42:7). 

It is a realm without the light of the knowledge of God, without which, we are in a spiritually dead condition (Isa. 59:10; Hosea 4:6; Rom. 2:19; 1:21;  1John 2:11; 3:15).

Only those called out of that realm, gain understanding (1Pet. 2:9; Col. 1:13; John 1:4;  2Cor. 3:16; Isa. 60:2) through Christ. Those not granted, do not gain spiritual sight (Mark 4:11-12; Isa. 6:9). They remain under the power of the spiritual realm, Hades (Ps. 74:20).

When we ourselves have "light" concerning the meaning of Sheol/Hades/Abyss/Sea/Deep;
we then have an advantage, when it comes to grasping the meaning behind such verses, as Rev. 13:1 , Revelation 11:7 and Revelation 9:1.
We then can "make our minds over", and remove former "Watchtower" misconceptions,
such as the doctrine which asserts that the Wild Beast arising from the sea (Isa. 57:20; Rev. 13:1 and Revelation 17:8) is coming forth from "a place of inactivity". No... that is not the Bible's meaning of the abyss.

Satan's "abyss" of deception (LINK), is quite active in the minds of men. It is the source of the false prophet's great deceptive power, and the birthplace/source, of the Wild Beast/locust-scorpion collective (Rev. 8:10-11; Revelation 9:1,2,3; Joel 2:2)

Since Adam, we are all (including the Chosen) born under the realm of Hades, and the dominion of it's agents. (Isa. 25:7; Eph. 6:11-12)

 

Luke 6:39

Without the salvation granted by God, we would remain under that consignment of "darkness", confusion, "Babylon the Great", and death (John 3:18).
The power and realm of deception and death (Hades), is also symbolized as a covenant/"mother", of death 
(Isa. 28:15; Rev. 9:1; Revelation 17:5)
"She", has a husband (Heb. 2:14; Rev. 9:11; Isa. 33:1).
All "her" children, are born spiritually blind and corrupted, and prisoners of death.
The power and realm of light and life, is also symbolized as a covenant/"mother", of life (Gal. 4:26,24). 

"She", also has a husband (2Cor. 11:2; Rev. 14:4-5; Rev. 21:9-10; Rev. 3:12; Rev. 22:17).
Those born to her (Gal. 4:19; Rev. 12:1-2; John 3:3), are given spiritual enlightenment, and are her "seed" (Gen. 3:15; Rev. 12:17).
