Famine and Thirst / "buying" / Scrolls / "Mark"

CLARIFIED

I was recently accused of being a "know it all".
If I responded to all the ridicule I am the target of, I would have no time for my divine assignment. But when I considered this accusation, I realized that behind it, there is an irreverence and blasphemous charge being made against God.
I hope to make a defense for the truth about that charge, within this post.

My defense will only be effective and reasonable to those who respect the authority of the scriptures, and what they reveal about the generous Will of God.

At Amos 8:11, we read:
""The days are coming," declares the Sovereign LORD, "when I will send a famine through the land-- not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD."
The context (Amos 8:10-12) contains a parallel to prophecies about the time of the end (Rev.11:3 "sackcloth"; wandering for truth -Dan.12:4).
Do we have confirmation that there will be famine and thirst in the time of the end? (See Rev.6:6,8).
At Daniel 12:9; Daniel was told,
“Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up in a scroll, and sealed until the time of the end."
When, how, and for whom, would this famine of hearing the words of God end?
Daniel 12:9 tells us that God's words are sealed up, until the time of the end.
Rev.20:11,12 depicts that time. It reads;
"11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the scrolls."

What scrolls are these? They include the book of Daniel. They are "opened" as in the sense of understanding. There is a saying that we can not judge a book by it's cover. We can not know what is in a book, until we open it.
Will these scrolls be understood in the time of the end? If so, by whom?

Just as Dan.12:3,10 tell us that these secrets (Dan.12:8,9; Rev.10:7; Amos3:7) will be opened and understood in the time of the end (Dan.12:10,3); Revelation confirms, that Christ will receive the sealed scroll, open it, and give that information to God's prophets (Rev.5:1,2,5,7,9,10; 1:1,2,3; 2:7,17,28,27; Jer.23:29; 2Cor.10:4; Rev.12:5,6; 11:3,4,5; Jer.5:14; Zech.4:11,12,13,14; Amos3:7; Eph.3:4,5; 1Cor.4:1; Rev.10:7; 1Cor.12:29,28).

Even within Daniel, (Dan.12:5) (Zech.4:11,14) it tells us of two who speak to our Lord (Dan.12:5,6; Rev.6:10; Matt.17:3; Luke9:30,31; Mark10:32,33,34; 8:35; Matt.16:24; 10:38; 1Pet.2:21; Rom.6:5; Phil.3:10; 1:29; Matt.5:12; Rev.20:4; Luke22:28,29). Our Lord's reply to them, is a sacred mystery (Dan.12:7; Rev.6:11; 12:14; 10:5,6) which is unveiled in the time of the end. If you have read and meditated on the foregoing scriptures, you realize that our Lord's reply to these two, is that they must suffer and die just as he did, until "the power of the holy ones is brought to nothing" (Dan.12:7,11; 7:25; 8:13; Luke21:24; Rev.11:2; 13:5,6,7; 11:7; 6:11).

How can we understand this spiritual famine as existing at the same time as "scrolls being opened"?
If the "wise" are given "understanding" (Dan.12:3,9,10; Rev.11:3; 1:1; Isa.5:13; 65:13; Luke16:24,25,26; Matt.25:8,9), then we know that this famine is selective (Dan.12:10; Luke8:10; Matt.19:11; 13:11; 25:4,11,12; Isa.29:11; Dan.12:4; Amos8:12; 2Tim.3:7; Dan.12:10) based upon who is faithfully slaving for God's Holy Spirit (Mal.3:18,17,16; Dan.12:1; Rev.20:12; 3:5; 7:3; 14:1), and who is not (Rev.13:8).
Due to the workings of Satan, the false prophet, and the Wild Beast; Satan's powerful deceptions are misleading even the chosen ones (Rev.16:13,14; Matt.24:24,25,22; Luke18:26,27) so that they must repent (Rev.3:18,19,20; Luke12:35,36; Matt.25:10). Repenting in "sackcoth and ashes" is scriptural. (Matt 11:21) Before these who will prove faithful can accept the opened scrolls, they need to repent, be cleansed and made ready to be capable of accepting them [Mark2:22; Dan.12:10; Mal.3:1,2,3; 1Cor.5:7; (Jer.31:11; Isa.44:23; 48:20; Matt.24:14) 1Cor.10:21; 2Cor.6:17; Rev.18:4; Titus 2:14; Gal.1:4; Col.1:13; 1Pet.2:9,10; Acts.26:18; Rom.12:2; Isa.60:1,2; Rev.2:28; Ps.110:3,2; 1Thess.5:5] (1Cor.6:15; Eph.5:5; Rev.17:2; 2:20; 2Cor.6:17)

Christ tells us that we must "buy" the precious "gold" he offers his repentant ones (Rev.3:18; Isa.55:1,2). That "gold" will open their "eyes" to "see" (Rev.3:18; Matt.6:22; Luke11:35; Matt.13:16; Luke10:23).
Yet, what sort of payment does Jesus expect his followers to use, in order to "buy". Certainly, it is not literal money (Acts8:20,21) in which Christ had little interest (Matt.6:19,20,21; Mark12:16,17).
(The answer to this also gives insight into the "buying and selling" of the Wild Beast (Rev.13:17). What is it that God and Christ expect, in exchange for heavenly treasures ("gold")? (Isa.55:1)
Take note of the "payment" God levies against His servants...
Ec.5:4,5 reads:
"When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it;
 For He has no pleasure in fools.
 Pay what you have vowed—
 Better not to vow than to vow and not pay."
(Deut.23:21; Ps.15:1,4; 22:25; 50:14; 66:13,14; Num.30:2).

Yes....only those who fulfill their dedication to God with exclusive devotion, will receive the refined "gold" of understanding, through the opening of the scrolls. We are judged as to whether or not we keep the things written in those scrolls (Rev.20:12).
It is written:
"It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him." (Deut.13:4)
(Deut.6:13; Luke4:8; Matt.22:37; 1John5:3; Ec.12:13). The love of, exclusive worship, and obedience to God's Laws, is symbolized by being marked as His slave on your right hand and forehead (Deut.6:6,8; 11:18; Ex.13:9).

For those who "buy" provisions under the monopoly of the Wild Beast; These are marked as slaves of that blasphemous abomination (Rev.13:16) and have replaced the exclusive worship and obedience for God, with an Image/Idol of the Wild Beast (Rev.13:8,15).
(pearl-disgustingthing.blogspot.com)
For a time, the Chosen ones (while still UNsealed as slaves of God) are overcome by this power (Rev.9:3,4,5,6,10; 13:7,10; 2Pet.2:20; Col.2:8). This failure of the chosen to remain in exclusive subjection to God, enables the Gentiles to "trample" them. (Dan.8:11,12,13,10; Rev.12:4; 2Thess.2:4; Matt.5:13; Rev11:2).
This leaves the returned Christ to tread the false teachings alone (Deut.32:33,32; Rev.8:11; 19:15; Isa.63:3; Eze.22:30; Isa.50:2).

Those under the power and authority of the Beast cannot exchange spiritual provisions (heavenly treasures/refined gold) from Christ. The only provisions allowed by the Beast, must be sourced in and sanctioned by, the slave brandmark of that Beast (Rev.13:17).  That brand-mark of the Beasts's commerce, is symbolized by the number "666". (pearl-666.blogspot.com)
The Beast expects the same "payment" that God alone is due (Deut.23:21; 30:20; 11:18; 6:8)....to dominate the minds, hearts, speech, and actions of it's avowed worshippers, by means of it's own Laws (Rev.13:16,8).

In the time of the end, when the scrolls are opened by Christ and the "gold" contained within is given to slaves branded as God's and Christ's (Rev.7:3; 14:1; John15:15; Amos3:7), will these still be effected by the famine and thirst within the realm of the Wild Beast?
For those who accept this discipline, repent, and pay their full vow to God during the inspection of Christ; what can these expect?
Well, first they can expect persecution for speaking truth, and the "death" that results (Mark8:35; Rev.6:9; 12:11; 11:7; 20:4).

Mal.3:10 reads;
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."
(Deut.14:22,29; Prov.3:9,10; Dan.12:10,3; Matt.13:12; 7:7,8,11; 21:22; Jer.33:3; Isa.48:6; John16:23,24,25,26,27).

I know nothing on my own. But if I have repented of my spiritual fornication,
begged for "gold" and have payed the prices God asks;
No one should call Him a liar, if He has kept His promises to me.
Any who faithfully do the same, will likewise be blessed.

So, I am not a "know it all";
but those marked as slaves of God, and blessed according to God's promises;
will be "proved true" through obedience to God's Word
(Rom.3:3,4; John7:16,17,18; 16:12,13,14,15; 14:12,13,14,15,16,17,18,20,21,23,25,26,29)
by remaining in union with Christ as Head (John15:4,5)
and fitly united with the rest of the body (1Cor.12:12,15,21,27,28; Col.3:14,15,16; Eph.4:11,12,13,14,15,16).

  1. A person who has scriptural answers to self righteous antagonists are often called a "know it all". This is because they have answers the self righteous dont like to hear because it exposes their SELF righteousness and ignorance of scripture. It also exposes their lack of Jahs spirit to understand scripture because they are more concerned about sounding spiritual to others(esp on a public forum) than REALLY being spiritual. You expose both their lack of Jahs backing to understand the "scrolls' in these last days...and their self righteousness which is the reason Jah withholds His spirit so they dont understand. No wonder these antagonists dont like this being exposed in themselves when they think they are righteous,but only in their own eyes. Jesus had the same problem with people like this when on earth. But this problem with self righteous antagonists did not mean He was wrong about scripture or that He didnt have His Father's backing. The antagonists reaction to Jesus work proved He was doing His job correctly AND that He had His Father backing in exposing these hypocrites!
