This is a question someone recently asked.
What follows are some scriptural thoughts.
------------------------------------------------
We are all familiar with the greatest sin, as described by Jesus himself. But if we read all the cross references to this discourse, those contexts add many details which clarify how (and in what situation) one commits the unforgivable sin.
It first helps to view the circumstance, when Jesus decided to mention this sin.
First, at Matt.12:31,32; Jesus describes this sin as "speaking" "against the Holy Spirit". What sort of speech, is demonstrated in Matt.12:22,24?...
"Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw.
Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”
By what means did Jesus perform this deed? By means of Holy Spirit! What "speaking" against that, did the religious leaders commit?
They attributed the work of Holy Spirit within Christ, as demonic (John 8:48).
Jesus continues at Matt.12:31-33...
“Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come. “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit."
Jesus added here, that it is NOT the sin/blasphemy against the human vessels in which Holy Spirit dwells (1Cor.6:19; John 14:17; Matt.10:20; Rom.8:11; 1Cor.3:16); (although this "grieves" spirit)
but rather,
it is the failure to acknowledge that Holy Spirit is genuinely within them,
and to instead, attribute the spirit within them to the evil one.
This was what the religious leaders did with Christ (Matt.12:24)...And they spoke publicly about that charge.
And then in the very next verse,
Jesus adds that we recognize trees by their fruit (Luke 6:45; Matt.12:33). What does this have to do with sinning against Holy Spirit?
(Luke 12:1; Mark 8:15; Matt.5:20; 7:21,22,23; 23:27,28,37,33,34,35; Rev.18:24,20; Matt.23:29-31)
Jesus is saying that when there are two religious sides, each accusing the other of having an evil spirit (John 8:44,48)...
that we will be able to discern the false prophets from the true (John 7:17; 1Cor.11:19),
those who genuinely possess Holy Spirit from those who don't,
by their "fruit" (Luke 6:43,45; Matt.13:52; 12:36-37).
(to learn more about what fruit Jesus meant, see the scriptures at pearl-finetrees.blogspot.com).
This tool to identify the true from the false prophets, is repeated at Matt.7:15,20
However, Jesus is also teaching us, that the false prophets who publicly slander the spirit which leads the genuine, are committing an unforgivable sin. They "blaspheme"/speak against, God's Holy Spirit at work.
Now if we look further to the additions the other writers afford us, this understanding widens.
Sure enough, at Mark 3:28-30, we are told clearly what this sin is...
“Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; 29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation”— 30 because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
If we move on to Luke 12:10,11,12;
we can now apply that definition of this sin
(attributing the Holy Spirit within one of it's vessels, to that vessel having an evil spirit),
to recognizing how this context can be committed long after Christ ("in the age to come" -Matt.12:32 C)....
“And anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven. 11 “Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities (judicial committees), do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. 12 For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”
In this account, Jesus links together this sin, not only to the miracles which HE performed, but also to the witness the genuine give when brought to trial (John 16:2; Matt.10:25; John 15:20). He links this sin to the vessels who genuinely possess Holy Spirit...the words they speak coming from Holy Spirit...and those words falling upon ears that are judging God's genuine vessels. (Luke 12:11,12)
After these faithful speak from God's spirit (Matt.10:20)....
What will the verdict of these religious judges be?
Will they acknowledge that these ones being judged are genuine vessels of the Most High God, possess God's Holy Spirit, and that their words are inspired expressions of scriptural Truth?
Or,
will they condemn and publicly brand ("speak" against) the spirit within these brothers of Christ, by
calling them "human apostates" working "with Satan" in Satan's kitchen of lies?
If one considers how those currently being publicly judged and expelled,
are viewed for their faithfulness to God...would you describe the accusations as attributing a demonic spirit to these faithful?
Are those accusations being "spoken" publicly?
You see, sinning against the Holy Spirit is alive and well this very day.
Faithful anointed (and others) are waking up to this Organizational idolatry, repenting, and taking their spirit-inspired stand for truth all over the world.
How are these labeled by the Organization?
Is it not how Jesus himself was labeled in the moment he gave us these words?
"because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.” (Mark 3:30; Matt.10:25)
By the fact that Jesus himself said that this is the worst sin,
and that the WT is currently practicing it
each and every time someone is disfellowshipped for voicing their scriptural stand,
and for their loyalty to the God of Truth...
What follows are some scriptural thoughts.

and for their loyalty to the God of Truth...
(rather than to the wicked steward and his Gentile Beast representatives),
...and that person is publicly labeled as having an unclean, lethal, wicked spirit, (and so, must be avoided at all cost),
that sin is committed.
There is one more thing I myself learned from all these scriptures...
Jesus said,
“And anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven." Luke 12:10
What wise and considerate foresight, for Jesus to make plain to us, that it is not sinning against the individual vessel that is unforgivable.
But how might this information be of use today?
When we are judged and expelled today, is it not because we have "sinned against" "the 'faithful and discreet slave'"?
I know from personal experience as well as the many reports I have heard of the experiences of others,
that despite weighty scriptural backing for every assertion the anointed defendant makes,
it is made clear to them by their accusers,
that the basis for their expulsion, is exclusively, a lack of harmony and subjection to the GB.
After their condemnation, the defendant is thereafter considered spiritually dead, as if they have sinned against Holy Spirit, when they have simply rejected the false doctrines of men, as the scriptures advise us to (2Tim.3:5; 1John 4:1; Mark 7:7; 2Cor.11:3,20,4; Rev.2:20)(Rev.2:2).
There are therefore (so far), two counts of this sin...
Declaring Holy Spirit within it's chosen vessels, as demonic, and
raising men above Christ, and equal to Holy Spirit.
...For, if it is forgivable to sin against/blaspheme Christ, (Matt.12:32 A)
but not forgivable to sin against/blaspheme the GB,
then they sin against God's spirit by claiming equality with it.
(Isa.46:5; 40:18,25; Rev.13:15,8,4)
("Who is like God?" -- "Michael")
But there is a third sin against the Holy Spirit which the GB is guilty of!
Not only do they claim that the spirit-sanctified members of the temple of God contain Satanic spirit...
They claim that God's Holy Spirit dwells in the unclean, common, unconsecrated, and un-sanctified.
We read at Rev.13:15,12,14...
15 He (the false prophet) was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 12 And he (false prophet) exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived."
Without going into every detail of meaning here, we see that the false prophet (GB) incites and convinces people to worship the image of the Wild Beast (image of Org. as spirit appointed). How does he convince people to commit this idolatry? Rev.13:15 said that the false prophet gives "breath" (spirit) into the image, enabling that image to have divine-like appearance, power, and a stature... deserving of what constitutes worship (unquestioning obedience, praise, honor, service).
This "breath" (John 20:22), is counterfeit Holy Spirit (Rev.13:15).
This is spiritual fraud of the most blasphemous kind! (Rev.13:6)
The source of the Wild Beast's spirit appointment, is not from God at all, but just as Revelation exposes...the false prophet's misleading deceptions are the only source of the Wild Beast's seeming divinity.
The unclean Wild Beast is not endorsed or inspired by God in Heaven...
it is endorsed only by the false prophet who is using it
(Rev.13:12 A; Rev.19:20; Dan.8:11,24,25; 11:31).
How blasphemous to impersonate God's Holy Spirit, and lie about it's endorsement! To teach that God's HOLY Spirit is embodied within this counterfeit Temple of God (composed of counterfeit Gentile priests -Eze.44:6,7,8,9; Mark 13:14), is most certainly to sin against that spirit.
("What is 'Jew' and 'Gentile'?")
( The Organization says that elders (who represent the Image of the Org.) are appointed by Holy Spirit )
Are your local elders part of the anointed Temple of God? (1Cor.3:16; 1Pet.2:5; Eph.2:20,21,22)
Are all elders spirit appointed? (link: "Are Elders spirit-appointed?")
Who really are those "appointed as overseers"? (Acts 20:28)
1Pet.5:1-4 reads:
"To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: (Rom.8:19) 2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away." (Deut.15:10; Isa.65:22; Rom.8:18,19) (See Rev.6:2; 3:11,21)
If we allow all these scriptures to impact our understanding of who the shepherds of God's flock are; they are the Chosen Ones.

Not so the spiritual Gentile Elders comprising the Wild Beast. These counterfeit priests only need comply with Organizational arrangements, expectations, standards, and suggestions. The claim that these are only chosen based upon 1Tim.3 is just not the whole truth.
The greatest requirement for priestly service is "spiritual qualifications" (Gal.6:1), which is not referring to the list at 1Tim.3 as the WT professes. The original words for "spirit qualifications" is literally "those who are lead by spirit/walk by spirit/live by spirit", and these are defined at Rom.8:14 (Rom.8:16,17) as those who will reign with Christ.
"Elders" have been empowered to trample and expel God's genuine chosen priests with impunity...for now.
In the meantime,
to erect and empower a counterfeit Temple priesthood, claim it is filled with Holy Spirit and appointed by God, and then demand that all worship it's Image, is a third sin against Holy Spirit.
(Eze.44:6,7,8,9; 2Chron.13:9; Num.3:10; Rev.11:2; Mark 13:14)
(pearl-disgustingthing.blogspot.com)
In conclusion, the worst sin the WT has done, is the same worst sin according to Christ.
They
1. attribute the work of the faithful to Satanic spirit
2. condemn and punish those who reject men's lying doctrines,
as if they rejected Holy Spirit.
3. mislead millions to believe that they have license to pour
God's spirit into an Idol made of those God has not chosen,
and then to place that counterfeit Temple of abomination
above the true Temple of God (2Thess.2:4; Rev.13:6), where it can desolate
and trample underfoot, any genuine priest who refuses to worship it.
[Matt.24:15; Dan.8:13; 11:31; Luke 21:24; Jer.12:10 (1Cor.3:9); Isa.6:11,12; Rev.11:2].

The worst spiritual crime has been the triple substitution:
ReplyDeleteThe Organization is substituted for Jehovah (ex: J is please when your support the work with your valuable things)
The Governing Body for the Christ (ex: disappearing references to God's son, and an explosion of refs to GB)
The Elders for Holy Spirit (ex: spirit-appointed gifts in men)
This renders baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit invalid, having "friendship with God through obedience to his spirit-appointed Organization", which blocks access to the new covenant.
Thank you for your comment, Walter, and for adding additional facets to our perception of the abomination of desolation... the disgusting thing (idol), standing where it does not belong (Mark 13:14).
DeleteSo few, among those who have direct contact with these Satanic entities, recognize them for what they truly are. Discernment is needed (Matt.24:15), and must be granted (Matt.13:11,13). As great as this tribulation is for those who do have eyes, I am refreshed whenever I meet someone as you, who is able to recognize the current fulfillment of prophecy, which comes from the God who tells the end from the beginning.
