Dishonest Gain

This addition was added to the last post, under the sub-heading "Mentally Diseased":

We do well to consider a final point made at 1Tim.6:5, where it reads;
"...men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain."
The true identity referred to in this scripture, supposes that by means of their form of "godliness", they will benefit.
How does this trait help us to identify those truly "mentally diseased"?
We already know that we have two camps of anointed.....
those ruling,
and those being disfellowshipped for "withdrawing" from the doctrine of those ruling.
Tell me please....
Who of these two anointed groups, anticipates ("supposes") that they will "gain" by their form of "godliness"?

Do not all those anointed who realize that they must take a stand of "godliness" against
the standards and expectations of their local elders...
their own close family's cherished tenets,
and the doctrinal norms of the entire society to which they have been attached for decades....
anticipate loss...and not "gain"?
Surely...
they are aware of the great cost.
They do not "suppose", that they will personally "gain"!
(2Cor.2:17)

Let's compare this verse to the other camp...the ruling one.
Do they anticipate that their stand...their form of "godliness", will and has resulted in "gain"?

Please use your thinking ability to perceive who 1Tim.6:5 is truly applying to...
Those who anticipate the loss of their former identity, their good name, their own children, parents, and even marriage mates, long-time friends, and entire community... due to a sense of loyalty to God, Christ, and truth;
Or,
those who gain power over millions of obedient slaves, billions of dollars, expansive real estate holdings and investments, personal servants, luxurious comforts, prestige, tribute and honor wherever they go, the highest standards of free medical, clothing, cuisine, travel, vacation spots, etc.,etc. ?

Who have you determined "supposes" that they will attain "gain" through their form of "godliness".
Who is it really,
that needs to adhere to "corrupt" doctrines "destitute of truth" required to maintain that "gain"?
Who are those who... when exposed to truth from their fellow slaves,
use it to form and publish further "contentions", "arguments", "useless wranglings", and "disputes",
for the sake of "gain" (and to guard what they have already amassed)?
(Luke 9:58) (Matt.4:9) (Luke 12:20)

The truth contained in the scriptures, along with their proper interpretation, is not difficult to properly understand by those who are still capable of using their thinking ability 
(Heb.5:14; Ps.19:7; Prov.1:1-2,3-4,5-6,7;  1Cor.2:6)
rather than going along with the tide (Matt.7:13; 24:11;  2Thess.2:11-10,12; Rev.13:7-8,9)
of those drunk and asleep,
blinded by a desire to proudly seek their own righteousness (Rom.10:3; Matt.6:33; John 7:18).

Who today, really are the ones "obsessed with disputes"/"mentally diseased over questionings"?
Would it not be those who insist on arguing in favor of falsehood, who continue to whitewash a wall of lies which will not remain standing?
Their defensive doctrines are crumbling.

Who are the "Mentally Diseased"?


 The Organizational army of spiritual Gentile elders and overseers, are currently enforcing compliance with the Governing Body of  "Jehovah's Witnesses", by the expulsion of all those who decline harmony with their vacillating doctrines and unscriptural requirements. To obey such man-sourced arrangements which often defy the Bible's wisdom, or to condone the teaching of erroneous interpretation of scripture and prophecy, is to become slaves to such men instead of being faithful slaves of God (Rom.6:16;  1Cor.7:23). This we are not permitted by God to do (Matt.6:24; Gal.1:10;  1Cor.7:23; Col.3:24). The Chosen must remain in union with God and Christ (John 15:5;  1John 2:28; John 17:21).

A true and faithful servant of Christ would not personally expect subjection from others 
(Mark 10:42,43,44,45; Phil.2:3; Rom.12:10; Eph.5:21), but rather would deflect all service and subjection, to God. (Acts.14:15; Luke 4:8; Rev.19:10)
Even the perfect son of God did not expect glory for himself (John 7:16,18; 17:4) nor take it upon himself to judge. He let the truth of scripture reveal the heart (John 12:47,48; Heb.4:12). What about anointed ones judging one another, or even declaring oneself as a faithful slave? (Luke 17:10) Is that our job, or our Master's job? (See Rom.14:4; James 4:12;  1Cor.4:5; Matt.25:19).

Yet, how are these scriptures balanced with ones like Eze.3:18; Hosea 6:5; Jer.5:14; Rev.11:5 and Rev.20:4?
Notice from the previous scriptures, that prophets who announce God's genuine judgments, do so by means of His Word of fire, and at the command and direction of God Himself. In this way, it is not a personal judgment...just as it was not with Jesus (John 5:30; 8:16).
Who then, are the genuine trumpet-blowing angel/messengers, who bear God's authentic declarations of battle, warning, and judgments? We must consider this, because in the time of the end, there would also be counterfeit judgments, done in the name of God 
(Rev.13:13,15; John 16:2; Isa.66:5; Matt.24:11,9,12,45,48,49; 10:22; Rev.2:2,9,10,13;  2Thess.2:1,2;  2Cor.11:13).
It is a matter of life and death for all....anointed and not, to discern between the false and the True... the death-dealing wormwood, and the Water of Life (1John 4:1; Matt.7:15,13,14,20,24,26,27; 24:4,5,24,25). Choosing between them is facilitated, as the differences between them are clarified during "battle".
Armageddon is a battle between Demonic lies and divine truth (Rev.16:13,14,15,16; 17:14).
That battle would not exist, nor the Kingdom which it accomplishes (Rev.12:10,11), if it were not for the slaves of God "tearing down" false doctrine (2Cor.10:3,4,5;  1Cor.11:18,19; Rev.2:2; Eph.5:11) by obediently shining their light (Matt.5:14,16; Luke 12:35; Mark 13:36,37).
Each teacher provides the basis of their doctrine... worldly wisdom from men, or the Word of God (Matt.25:1,2) (1Cor.3:13,19; 2:14; James 3:15; John 7:17,18; 8:47; Mal.3:18;  2Cor.10:3,4,5;  1Cor.11:18,19; Rev.16:13,14,15,16; 17:14; 19:11,14). Christ's words aid us in discerning between his faithful slaves, and those prophets who have left him.

When present anointed seek to resolve their differences with the Governing Body, they do so just as the scriptures direct (Matt.18:15,16,17). Each and every anointed one I have asked, stated that they sent a letter to the Governing Body when they first realized the reality and seriousness of the Congregations being mislead. Rather than also obeying the directive "between you and him alone" also; the Governing Body uses the elders as mediators...not to "hear" and consider the grievance, but to muscle the petitioner into subjection or expulsion.

When this occurs, the charge levied is either "causing divisions", or the label of being a "mentally diseased apostate".
How does the Bible define these charges?

CAUSING DIVISIONS:
This charge is derived from Rom.16:17;  1Cor.1:10; 11:18.

Lets take these one at a time, and examine the context of each.
Rom.16:
17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses ("obstacles"/"stumbling blocks"), contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. 18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple. 19 For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil. 20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.

Regarding these "offenses", Jesus said;
"Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!" (Matt.18:7)

Some Bible's translate "offenses" as "stumbling blocks", causing those of faith to fall. Of these, Mark 9:42 reads:
"But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea."
So at this point, it is important to see that those who cause offenses, are those who mislead God's people (including "little ones" of the kingdom -Mark 9:41,42; Matt.10:42). Do you discern that this is a spiritual (not a physical stumbling)? Who is behind those who cause "stumbling" of the lesser anointed (the least of Christ's brothers), and "offenses" to God?
This is verified in the context of Rom.16:17...if you look at Rom.16:20...
"And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly."
Who is being used to conquer/stumble, the Holy Ones with Satanic deception?
Note a comparison of Mark 9:42 and Rev.18:21. The harlot misleads the Chosen.
Who does she use? The Gentile Wild Beast is used by this false prophet, and by Satan (Rev.13:7,10,4,15; 19:20; Matt.24:24,25).

How would one know for sure the difference between stumbling doctrines, and Truth? The very same verse of Rom.16:17 tells us...
"Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them."

So the way to recognize the distinction between the Truth, and the stumbling offenses, is to compare it to "the doctrine which you learned". What is that doctrine of Truth?
What was that doctrine in the first century, the time in which this verse was written?
Was it WTBTS doctrine?

Paul identifies this sound doctrine and it's source, at 1Tim.6:3...
"If anyone teaches otherwise and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching..."

This teaching that does not agree with the instruction of Jesus Christ should grab our greatest concern (2John 1:9). Why?
Look at this prophesy...
"For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear." (2Tim.4:3; Nahum 3:15; Jer.51:14; Rev.9:3,7)
A time would come where these false teachers (who do not agree with the teachings of Christ) would multiply! (1Tim.4:1)
Look at this prophesy...
"Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming." (2Thess.2:1-4,8)

Clearly during the time of the end, this multitude of teachers would fall away from the teachings of Christ, would impersonate anointed Jews (Rom.2:28; Rev.3:9) as would their leaders impersonate apostles (2Thess.2:2; Rev.2:2;  2Cor.11:13), and these would be successful and numerous enough to take over and rule IN GOD'S TEMPLE.
This last detail is crucial. It alerts us to the location of these stumbling blocks of offense. "God's Temple" are the anointed priesthood (1Cor.3:16;  2Cor.6:16; Eph.2:22,21).
Just as we already learned that Satan is behind these (Rom.16:20). This link is confirmed, at 2Thess.2:9. Satan gives these stumbling blocks the power to rule over God's anointed Temple (Rev.9:1; 13:14). He still rules this world (1John 5:19; Matt.4:9). This detail of rule truly narrows down who this prophecy is speaking of.

2Thess.2:4 alerts us that this powerful misleading group, will take the lead in "God's Temple".
This is harmonious with Christ's warnings to his Temple Priesthood (1Cor.3:16; Rev.5:10) concerning the time of the end (Matt.24:24,25; 7:15,21,22,23; 25:11,12,13; Mark 13:5; Rev.13:7; Dan.8:10,11;  2Thess.2:4; Dan.11:31; Matt.24:15). It is also harmonious with the prophetic warnings in Revelation.(Rev.8:10,11; 9:1; 13:11; 2:20; 17:2; 18:3,4--The Fallen Star)

What would the result be to the Temple/body of Christ, when a leadership above them left the doctrine of Christ? (Luke 12:42,43,45,46; Hosea 6:5; Rev.11:5; Jer.23:29; Matt.24:2).
If those loyal to the doctrine of Christ refused to compromise....would this not result in a rift, or, division?
Yet who would be to blame for this rupture in Christ's body? The faithful loyal to Christ, or the unfaithful in power over them?
Should the faithful compromise in order to maintain unity with the "offense"? How should the faithful handle themselves when this prophecy comes true?

Regarding the choice between unity and truth, Jesus set the example.
He knew fully well, that in the presence of Satan's deceptions and stumbling blocks,
the witnessing to Truth will cause division, and a parting from untruth 
(2Cor.6:15,17;  1Cor.10:21,22;  1Tim.4:1; Acts 20:30; Rev.2:20; 18:4).
He said:
"Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division." (Luke 12:51)
Was Jesus a compromising coward in the face of Satan's deceptions and misleading doctrines of men? (Matt.23:13,33; John 8:40)
 He was slaughtered for the sake of Truth. Those faithful in the time of the end must be willing to imitate him 
(2Cor.11:12,13; Rev.6:9,10,11; 12:10,11; 14:13; 20:4; 11:3,7; Mark 8:35).

So let us return to our original verse about those "offenses" who cause divisions within the body of Christ.
"Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them." (Rom.16:17)

Is this scripture really talking about what it is being used to excuse?.....the expelling/"killing", of those who contradict the doctrines of the WTBTS? (Rev.13:15,17)

  Hopefully you can agree that the scriptures are speaking about those leaders in the midst of the anointed Temple, who leave the scriptures and teachings of Christ (1Thess.4:8; Matt.24:4,5,24,25;  1John 4:1;  2Thess.2:1,2,3). This apostasy naturally causes a rift in the anointed body of Christ, when the faithful refuse to compromise before the Gentile army (not-anointed "Man of Lawlessness" -2Thess.2:4), in an alliance of power with the unfaithful "Jews" at the top.

The advised action in Rom.16:17, is to "avoid" them (Eph.5:11).
But before we avoid them, we admonish them privately, one on one...just as the letters to the governing body have attempted to do. (1Tim.1:3;  2Thess.3:15) These many appeals have been scoffed at (Isa.28:14; Rev.2:21,23)
This "avoidance" is the same as
1Tim.6:5 (KJ)-("useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.")...to "withdraw yourself"
...and 2Tim.3:5..."from these turn away"....

not to pass judgment and a sentence of punishment based upon the false rectitude of human doctrines of error, rending "offenders" from their family by means of our own personal army of "elders", drunk with the power to "kill". 
(Matt.24:49; Isa.28:1; Rev.17:2,6; Jer.51:7) (Dan.8:11,12,24; 11:31; Rev.13:15; 9:1,2,3).

When we read a "Watchtower" study article, and we see "wranglings" of manipulative deception, corrupt and destitute of spirit and truth, by men who have obviously attained "gain" from their form of "godliness";
 should we be publicly announced as mentally diseased and apostatized from God, if we wish to "withdraw ourselves" from such indoctrination?

Yet this division resulting from the split in the "soil of Israel" was prophesied (Zech.14:4; Matt.10:21,36; 24:6) We can not avoid the "labor pains" leading up to the Kingdom's birth (Rev.12:1,2) (pearl-laborpains.blogspot.com). We can not choose peace. (Eze.13:10,16;  1Thess.5:3)
We can only choose to be faithful and obedient to Christ, during this great spiritual tribulation.

When Rom.16:17 speaks of those who "cause divisions"; -Is this scathing judgment against those who are simply rejecting corrupt doctrines of men (Matt.15:9)?
If not, then the present disfellowshipping taking place on those grounds, is an abomination and desolation to faithful slaves of Christ...the least of his brothers (Matt.25:42,43,45,41; Luke 10:16).
Since the example of Christ himself is to cause divisions in the midst of the stumbling blocks, so that the Truth might be clearly discerned from error (Luke 12:51;  1Cor.11:19); we are in good company (Matt.5:11,12).

The next scripture being abused,  1Cor.1:10:

"Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment."

The anointed today have "plead" with the Steward. Our pleas have gone unheeded, other than our being expelled. Note that the scriptures do not say that "majority wins"....nor that the ones with the most power and money should prevail...nor those who have inducted an obedient army of "elders" to enforce their personal interests (Zech.4:6,7; Rev.9:3,7,2; Joel 2:4,10,20,25; Eze.2:6) and bully all those who resist.

 Only those who speak the truth from God will prevail (Rom.3:4)
"Might" does not "make right" in the anointed body of Christ.
Bible Truth is the only touchstone of judgment (John 12:48).
As the governing body has itself publicly admitted, they do not consult with any other anointed (Prov.15:22; 11:14;  1Cor.12:20,21,27), or benefit from the Holy Spirit being given the others (1John 2:20,27;  1Cor.12:7,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,12,27,25).
The governing body has isolated itself from the rest of the body of Christ (Prov.18:1)....even when those other than they have been appointed by God to be prophets (1Cor.12:18,28,29; Acts 2:17,18; Rev.11:3).

Who then, is really violating 1Cor.1:10?

The next scripture being misapplied,  1Cor.11:18,19:

"For first of all, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it. For there must also be factions among you, that those who are approved may be recognized among you."

When Paul says that "there must also be factions among you", he is not conceding to recognize a reality...he is stating that these divisions are necessary (Luke 21:9; Matt.18:7; Dan.11:36). When the faithful are overcome by the unfaithful, it is necessary that the faithful overcome the unfaithful (Matt.24:6; Jer.51:46,49; Joel 3:2; Rev.17:14; 12:11; Gen.3:15;  2Cor.10:4). "Divisions" indeed!!!
Why are they necessary?
The same scripture tells us.
"that those who are approved may be recognized among you."
The war between the faithful and unfaithful, the division between them, and the attacks on the doctrines of both sides (2Cor.10:4,5) are so that the "approved" Truth and the condemned Deception can be "recognized", for the benefit and sake of all those seeking life (Matt.7:15,20; John 7:17,18; Mal.3:18; Rev.12:7,11).

MENTALLY DISEASED: 

This charge and accusation stems from 1Tim.6:3-5:
"If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, 4 he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, 5 useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself."

The NWT translates 1Tim.6:4 as "mentally diseased over questionings" ("obsessed with disputes").
I would have thought that it would have been verse 5 ("corrupt minds") which they might have translated "mentally diseased". But it is actually "obsessed with disputes" which the NWT translates as "mentally diseased over questionings".

This is a convenient translation for the WTBTS, since it pegs as mentally corrupt, those who would dare "question" WTBTS doctrines.
If this scripture is indeed condemning those who have "questionings" about the doctrines of men;
then the rest of Bible Truth should be in harmony with this interpretation...correct?

What does 1John 4:1 advise?
"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world."

1Thess.5:21 reads:
"Test all things; hold fast what is good."

2Cor.13:5:
"Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine and accurate. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith."

Jesus said, at Matt.7:24,25:
“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

Clearly we have a choice that must be soberly conducted. We must question all we take into our minds, to be certain that our Faith is based upon the life-imparting teachings of Christ found in the Bible (John 17:3,17).
So according to the Bible, is it mentally diseased...an "obsession" with "questioning", to be preoccupied with making certain that what men teach us is accurate and genuine truth? Is that the proper interpretation of 1Tim.6:4?

Paul told Timothy...
"Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all." (1Tim.4:16,15)

It would appear that the Bible's direction is clear about a positive preoccupation, even an obsession, with the scriptures (Ps.119:97; 1:2). Such a preoccupation is considered wise and spiritually healthy.

If it is wise to make sure we are following the Bible;
Does God consider those who question the doctrines of men, as "mentally diseased over questionings", or, "obsessed with disputes"?

While Jesus did not relish disputes and arguments (Matt.12:19);
he certainly did stand up to contradict corrupt spiritual leaders!

Was he "mentally diseased" for doing so?
Some thought so (Mark 3:21; John 10:20; 8:48).

So it would appear that according to the Bible, it is good to question the doctrines of men, to make certain that our faith is based upon the teachings of Christ alone...even if this makes others slander our sanity or motive (2Cor.5:13; Matt.10:24,25;  1John 4:1).

What then does 1Tim.6:4 refer to?

According to the Bible, the heated disputes which took place in the first century over Jewish Law, were considered of no benefit (2Tim.2:14,16,23; Titus 3:9).
Why?
Paul tells us...
"For if those who depend on the law are heirs, faith means nothing and the promise is worthless" (Rom.4:14).
Why?
"For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another" (Heb.8:7).
"I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!" (Gal.2:21)

Although this present wicked steward twists the scriptures in order to beat his fellow anointed slaves; those who love truth will not reject nor abandon it, for the sake of unity with this "offense" before God,
no matter what the persecution or cost.

The truth contained in the scriptures, along with their proper interpretation, is not difficult to properly understand, by those who use their thinking ability (Heb.5:14; Ps.19:7; Prov.1:1-2,3-4,5-6,7;  1Cor.2:6)
rather than going along with the tide (Matt.7:13; 24:11;  2Thess.2:11,10,12; Rev.13:7,8,9)
of those drunk and asleep,
blinded by a desire to proudly seek their own righteousness (Rom.10:3; Matt.6:33; John 7:18).

Who today, really are the ones "obsessed with disputes"/"mentally diseased over questionings"?
Would it not be those who insist on arguing in favor of falsehood, who continue to whitewash a wall of lies which will not remain standing?

Armageddon (additional information)

God's people must choose which they will believe and obey

The simultaneous presence of both offerings ("fine fruit"/truth and "rotten fruit"/lies Matt.7:20) is due to the war already being fought, between those providing truths (2Cor.10:3,4,5; Rev.17:14) and those releasing lies. The war between Satan's seed, and the faithful in covenant with God (Gen.3:15; Rev.12:7; 9:3; 13:7; 19:11,14; Eph.2:6) has been raging since Eden.

Armageddon is the final battle of this war, ...when the last of the woman's seed are sealed, due to their faithfully providing Truth (Rev.12:11; 6:9,11; 14:5; 20:4; 11:3) at the cost of their lives (in imitation of Jesus'example) (Rev.11:7; 12:11; 6:9; Mark 8:35; Rom.6:5).
During that final battle, the unfaithful (Satan's seed/angel messengers) will also become irrevocably sealed, due to their leaving God and providing "wormwood" teachings, along with their "slaughtering" of the faithful [1John 3:12; Rev.6:9; 13:15; 11:7; 20:4; 17:6; 18:24) 
Wormwood was a star Rev.8:10,11 but she fell.
Stars are members of the body of Christ... his prophets. (Rev.1:20; Phil.2:15; Dan.12:3) 
The poisoned waters/teachings of Wormwood, causes many of the elect to fall. 
(Isa.14:13,14; Matt.24:29; Dan.8:10;  2Pet.3:17;  Luke 21:24; Rev.13:10; Col.2:8) Rev.16:13,14].
Only those of the remnant who awaken and repent, become prepared to battle with Christ.

So you see...during this battle between truth and lies, God's people are exposed to both. This causes a choice...a "Tribulation"....a sifting and sorting as either loving truth (Prov.4:6; John 14:15,6; Luke 10:27) or as loving lies (2Thess.2:10,11; Rom.1:25). Mal.3:18
This is why it takes place in "the valley of the decision" (Joel 3:14,2,12) where God foretells a judgment of his own people, as worthy of death [Jer.1:18-19; 6:27; 26:12; Micah 3:8; Isa.28:21,22; Eze.7:1-27 (click on Eze.7 to open)]. Only a remnant/few, will survive/remain standing (Rom.9:27,28; Matt.7:14; Luke 21:34,35,36).

Teach the Distinction!

Rev.4:2,4,5,6...
  "Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. 3 And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. 4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. 5 And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

Do you remember what the symbol of "horn" means? (see Rev.17:12)
Does Jesus himself have "horns"/kings? (Rev.5:6; 1:5)
Can you see that each "horn"(king) has an "eye" (spirit of knowledge) and a "lamp" (spiritual light) of "fire" (God's word of truth -Jer.23:29; 5:14; which demands exclusive devotion -Deut.4:24)?. 
Both the lamp and eye are the same thing (Rev.4:5; 5:6; Matt.6:22)...which lamp is the spirit of God within one's perception (eye). 
In the time of the end, each of the last sealed kings/horns/stars/angels, is given an eye (a "seventh" of God's spirit), and together the seven "kings" have complete spirit to "see"/understand the mysteries of God; including the opening of the seven seals of Revelation (the marriage feast) (Prov.9:1; Rev.3:12). 
("seven" is symbolic)
All physically alive at the time of this revelation, will be judged based upon the revealed content of that scroll (lamps) as well as the other opened "scrolls"; and the treatment given those who bear that message. Those judged by these revelations will either be written in the Lamb's scroll of life, or not. (Rev.20:12; Matt.25:45,46; John 13:20). 

I am hoping that you are able to perceive that in heaven, the voice of God (lightenings and thunders, mediated through Christ and then through his apostles and prophets --Rev.4:5; Matt.24:27; Eph.4:7,8,11,12,14; 2:20; Matt.16:18;  1Cor. 3:10; 12:28; 14:32; Eph.3:5; Rev.11:3; Num.12:6) teaches His sealed anointed sons/priests, so that they can, in turn, teach all the Lord's sheep (Mal.2:5,6,7; Rev.14:5; John 21:17;  1Cor. 4:1;  1Tim. 4:16). What are the two most important things the priesthood must teach those who wish to worship God acceptably?

The first job of priest is to praise God (Isa.43:21;  1Pet. 2:9; Heb.13:15; Rev.7:10,12; Matt.6:9) so that all sheep may know and revere God accurately.

The final unfaithful ruling anointed (Rev.13:11; Luke 12:42,45; Micah 3:9; Rev.8:10,11) take the praise due YHWH, and give it to a Non-anointed Organizational Idol under their control (Eze.44:10,8,13; Rev.9:1,3; 13:14;  2Thess. 2:4) (made up of non-anointed, who are considered spiritual Gentiles, having hearts uncircumcised by God's spirit as anointed have --Rom.2:28,29).
The fallen anointed leaders, demand that all of God's anointed priesthood give praise to this so-called "spirit directed" Gentile Organization (Non-anointed Overseers and Elders), under the threat of a spiritual death to those who refuse (Rev 13:15,7). These leaders claim to be the only servants of truth, and that any priest who reads the direct words of Christ and is guided by Holy Spirit, will be mislead (Zeph.3:4; Isa.47:8; Rev.18:7) (Rev.6:6; 13:17) ["Olive oil (Holy Spirit) and "wine" (true teachings from the true vine -John 15:5) are forbidden! These fallen leaders hold a monopoly on spiritual provisions (Rev.13:17; 3:18), and "sell" them at the cost of your loyalty to God!). In teaching that they are the only means to truth, they declare Christ a liar 
(Rev.3:18; Matt.11:29; John 16:24;  1Tim. 2:5; John 14:6; 16:15; Luke 11:13; Matt.7:7; 21:22;  1John 3:22; 2:20,21,22). 
By targeting and restraining Christ's authentic prophets, they are doing Satan's will 
(Matt.5:11,12; Isa.66:5; Luke 12:45; Ps.38:20; Matt.10:22; John 16:2; John 8:44). 
Those called and chosen anointed who are deceived by this false prophet (Matt.24:4,5,24,25; 7:15; Rev.13:7,11; 12:15) and that conform to his demand to praise the Idol/Image 
       (The so-called, "spirit-directed" Organization -Rev.13:15 A), 
honor men and not God 
(Hosea 7:11,9; 8:12; 5:4; 4:14; Mal.1:6; Rom.1:25).  
They reject divine knowledge (Hosea 4:6; Rev.2:23;  2Thess. 2:9,10,11,12)
it's chosen vessels (Luke 10:16;  2Cor. 2:16; 4:7;  1Cor. 4:1; Matt.25:45,46), 
and the Source of all light (Rev.14:7; James 1:17; Ps.36:9).  God thus rejects them.

Who is the wicked steward and all those who follow him, really serving?  Is it really who they claim? (Zech.7:5) Titles such as "pioneer" and "governing body" are not from God's Word, nor are the definition or expectations of such positions 
    (GB- Mark 10:42,43; Matt.23:10; Gal.1:15,16,17,10; Luke 17:10)

These titles are merely a form of spiritual currency, instituted by this blasphemous organization. One receives them at the cost of Organizational devotion, subjection, and obedience [Luke 4:8; Matt.10:8; Acts 8:20,21,22,23 (2Thess. 2:3); John 5:44,41; 12:43;  1Thess. 2:6; Rom.2:29;  2Cor. 2:17). 
Definition of Simony:
"the buying or selling of a church office or ecclesiastical preferment" (Rev.13:17) 

The cost for such positions does not have to be literal money (Rev.3:18; Matt.13:45,46). 
The book of Revelation is symbolic, as is the "buying and selling" it portrays.
Buying and Selling

While establishing such a spiritual commerce, they rebel against the God they claim to serve 
(1Cor. 4:6; James 2:4; Acts 8:20; John 2:14,15,16; Rev.18:3,23). 
They have put a price on "righteousness" and spiritual provisions (Rev.6:6; 13:17). They have set up an Idol for themselves (Rev.2:20; 13:12,14,8;  2Thess. 2:4), and have "thrown truth to the ground" (Eze.8:5,6; 43:10; Dan.8:12;  Isa.59:13,14,15;  Jer.7:28).

These leaders are directing their Gentile minions to paralyze (Rev.9:5,10) or throw out, the very priests that God had chosen. The leaders have made an army of uncircumcised Gentile counterfeit priests, for the sake of their own power and praise....not for God's power and praise! These false priests are used to enforce obedience to the wicked steward...not obedience to God! These spiritual Gentiles are installed in the midst of God's own Temple of Chosen priests/anointed ones (2Thess. 2:4;  1Cor. 3:16,17). They are "the disgusting thing, standing in a Holy Place" AND "the abomination that causes desolation". Daily sacrifices are being stopped due to stripping God's priests of their duties, and by throwing out any loyal to God 
(2Chron. 13:9; Eze.44:6,7,8,9; Dan.12:11; 8:11; 9:27; 11:31) (2Thess. 2:4) (Mark 13:14; Matt.24:15). The Temple has been given to the Gentiles, and they are trampling the holy city underfoot (Rev.11:2;  2Thess. 2:4).

"Israel" has been deceived and mislead (Rev.2:2,9,14,20,21), has abandoned it's true Lord and Master, and it's members have abandoned their calling (1Pet. 2:9; Rev.14:4,5). "Israel's" household leaders persecute and "kill" any righteous ones who wake up, repent, and act in faithfulness to God.

Compare these scriptures in Revelation:

"Great", is Satan's final deception...as he finds an ally in the anointed wicked steward (false prophet) to aid him in deceiving the remnant! (Rev.9:1; 12:17; 13:11; 2:2,14,20,21; Matt.24:49; Prov.31:5; 17:26; Matt.24:24,25) along with everyone in their company.

A "Great Tribulation" indeed!
Armed with all the powerful signs and portents at Satan's disposal (key to abyss -Rev.9:1), this false prophet even appears to render God's own judgments (Rev.13:13,14,15; 11:7) (Fire-from-heaven)

The second job of priest, is to teach all worshipers the distinction between what is clean, and what is defiled (Eze.44:23; Jer.23:22; Haggai 2:11,12; Mal.2:7).
The unfaithful priests not only fail to teach the people the difference between the sacred and the common (Eze.22:26; Zeph.3:4)
...they also call the unclean, sacred; and the sanctified, they pollute and destroy...including YHWH's own Temple! 
(Micah 3:9; Isa.5:20;  1Cor. 3:17; Eze.23:38; 5:11; 22:8).


In the time of the end, both failures merge; because it is the lost boundary between sacred priest 
   (Rom.2:29; Titus 2:14;  1Pet. 2:10,9) and Gentile (Eze.44:9,7; Mark 13:14; Rev.11:2), 
which allows the entrance of the counterfeit Gentile priesthood of elders into the sanctuary to serve as priests. 
These Gentiles comprise a vile Organizational Beast given false divinity (Rev.13:15; 9:2,3,7).... a false god... a collective of unclean counterfeit "priests" raised up within and over God's anointed household. The Image of the Beast has been fashioned into an "Image" which the anointed must obey, slave for, submit to, and worship 
[2Chron. 13:9; Prov.17:16; Ec.10:7;  1Cor. 6:1,2,3; --("Lord's people"/"holy ones"-Dan.7:22 are not elders); Rev.13:14,15,8].

A "disgusting/detestable thing"..."standing in a holy place". (Mal.2:11; Ps.24:3)
An "abomination"..."causing desolation" (Eze.44:6; 25:3; Matt.23:38; Joel 1:13) to God's chosen sons, and all those who are supposed to be under their care (John 21:17;  1Tim. 4:16; John 13:20; Matt.10:41; Luke 10:16).


The seven spirits of God are roaming about in the earth 
(Rev.5:6;  2Chron. 16:9; Amos 7:7,8; Isa.28:17; Lam.2:8; Nehemiah 4:2).
"Indeed, who despises the day of small things? For these seven shall rejoice, and shall see the plumb line/capstone, in the hand of Zerubbabel. These are the eyes of Yahweh, which run back and forth through the whole earth." Zech.4:10

persecution


Those perceiving truth, and wishing to draw away from the apostasy; are being confronted by their JW relatives. This is typically followed by a visit from the elders/locust-scorpions/representatives of the Wild Beast....followed by a judicial committee and expulsion (Rev.13:15,7,8). In response to one of these letters, I wrote the following letter. The scriptures it contains are good for us to keep in mind, when we are under such circumstances.

My Reply:

What you are experiencing in your family was prophesied...(Luke 12:52,53).

Remember that Jesus warned us, that if we do not have our forehead or hand marked by the beast, it will search us out and "kill" us (Rev.13:15; John 16:2). Jesus knew that the Beast/Organization/elders, would not allow any middle ground. You must submit to the Beast or be killed. No one can get the upper hand or "win" in a battle against them (Rev.13:4). We do not expect to win them over to truth, because Jesus also tells us that the hearts of the elders are beyond reach (Rev.9:9).

I wanted to make known to you some things you may already know.
Please consider all these scriptural viewpoints...

1. You do not have to submit a "dissociation letter" or submit to a "judicial hearing" the way that the elders expect, due to "Organizational protocol".
They feel obliged to do things according to "organizational arrangements", but you are not under obligation to obey the beast. This obeying the beast is represented by the symbolic mark on the "right hand"....something we must avoid. If you decide to meet with them to give a witness, let it be your own choice.
2. Before you are disfellowshipped ("killed") you may want to take advantage of your present liberty of speech with the rest of the congregation, by giving a witness before you are shunned.
3. We may decide to imitate Jesus, by giving a witness, even though those who are blind (likely all who hear you) may never receive the truth you speak (Eze.2:7).
When Jesus said "he who confesses me/acknowledges me, before men", he was referring to what he said at John 14:6...
 "I am the way and the truth and the life."
When we acknowledge the Bible's truth before men (John 17:17)....the accurate way to God (Prov.14:12)...and the only means of survival through this great tribulation (the life) (Luke 21:36; Matt.24:24,25); we acknowledge Jesus Christ, who taught us these things.

I believe that the most important witness we give before our disfellowshipping "death", is not to the elders, but to the rest of those we know who are yet held captive (Rev.13:10,8; 12:9,16; Luke 21:35)

Yet Jesus gave a witness to all. This requires tremendous courage. We are given a warning when we consider doing this....
(Eze.2:6; Jer.1:8,17; Phil.1:28; Isa.8:18).  We should not be afraid of the rebellious who are facing God's judgment while they judge us (Rom.14:4; John 16:2; Matt.10:26;  2Pet.3:10). If we give in to fear, God will allow us to be terrified (Jer.1:17). We need to have strong faith that God will rid his creation of these resisters soon....that we are safe in his approval, and that our reward (treasures in heaven) is secure with God. Why should we fear what they can do? (Psalm 56:11; 118:6; Heb.13:6; Luke 12:4; Isa.2:22) Our reward is so close, and it is forever. Not so for enemies of God. Their shame and punishment is forever (Dan.12:2; Matt.25:46; Isa.66:24). This is why we pity and pray for them (Matt.5:44; Rom.12:14).

When we face such men of lies, who have presumed to take power and authority away from God and His chosen ones (1Cor.6:1,2,3; Rev.5:9,10;  2Chron.13:9; Eze.44:6,7,8,9; Rev.11:2; Dan.8:12);
we tend to get indignant and angry at what they do to the truth. Even Jesus felt this way (Matt.23). Despite these emotions, we try to do our best to "adorn the teaching". Even if our witness does not help to prevent the adverse judgment of any who hear us (Eze.3:5,6,7,8); they will know later, that God provided a fine witness to them through us (Jer.44:4; Eze.2:5,6; 33:33).

What I am saying is that you are not obligated to meet with them as they request, if you feel fearful.
If you decline, still find a way to give a witness, perhaps by means of a letter to as many as possible.
And by all means, DO NOT write a "dissociation letter" as the elders request of those who are "causing divisions".

If you meet with the elders, a good scripture to keep in mind is Luke 12:51, where Jesus himself said:
"Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division." ("a sword" Matt.10:34; Heb.4:12) (John 7:43; 9:16; 10:19) This "division" is a natural consequence, when falsehood faces truth. Being exposed to the truth will reveal each one's heart, and separate them based upon their love, or lack of love for truth (2Thess.2:9,10,11,12,13,14; Rev.2:4; 3:16). Division in itself is not sin. But when there is division, scriptural discernment must be applied. God's Word equips us to determine which side is falsehood/sin, and which is the truth (Matt.7:20; John 16:13,8; Mal.3:18).

Jesus wanted to divide truth from lies, so that the truth could be clearly discerned and followed. He never espoused unity with leadership, at the cost of Truth; but Truth over unity, and unity through truth.
For this (Matt.22:16; 23:13), Jesus suffered the condemnation of men, as an apostate (Matt.26:65). The Jewish leaders in covenant with God, looked to the Gentiles for support in dealing with Jesus (Matt.27:2; Isa.36:6; 31:1,3; Rev.11:8; Jer.17:5), just as the Ram/false prophet (Rev.13:11; Dan.8:4), relies on it's Gentile Beast (Rev.13:15; 11:7; 6:9). The first century Jewish leaders told Pilate that Jesus was perverting the nation from the true doctrine of Moses and the prophets (Luke 23:2); by spreading among them new notions, and false principles of religion; whereby he was a trouble maker of God's Israel, as Ahab charged Elijah (1Kings 18:17).
But in order to interest the Romans in executing Christ, they also accused him of "forbidding the giving of tribute to Caesar", which was a lie (Matt.22:21; 17:24,25,26,27). We too, are falsely slandered, shamed, and "killed" (Eze.22:8,9; Lev.19:16; Hosea 6:9; Rev.11:7,8,9,10; 6:9,11)...accused of refusing to give due tribute to the Image of the Gentile beast Organization (Rev.13:15,8; 19:20). The false prophet ("two horned" wild beast) uses it's power ("key"/"realm"), to sanction the "ten-horned" wild beast to "kill" on it's behalf (Rev.13:15 A; Rev.8:10,11; 9:1; Isa.28:15).
The authority and power of the false prophet/"two-horned beast", is symbolized as "fire from heaven" -Rev.13:13 (divine judgment)

The two-horned false prophet empowers the Gentile Wild Beast with "breath" ("spirit-directed" Image) to be it's own instrument of judgment  and capital punishment.
(Rev.13:15 A; Dan.11:31; 8:11,12,24; Rev.13:7).
By imbuing the image of the Beast with spirit, it appears to be "spirit directed" by God's Holy Spirit, but it is not.  This Beast kills the faithful followers of Jesus.

Only Jesus Christ can breathe Holy Spirit into his faithful chosen followers (John 20:22,23), giving them the power to judge (Rev.20:4; Matt.16:19; 18:18;  1Cor.6:2,3).

The faithful anointed are expected to follow in Christ's footsteps, including his shameful condemnation by the religious leaders of God's people (John 16:1,2,3,4; Heb.13:13; Rom.6:5; Phil.3:10;  1Cor.4:13;  2Cor.6:8 C; Rev.6:9,10,11; 11:8,9,10) and "execution" at the hands of Gentiles (Rev.11:7,10; 20:4).

Do not expect Satan to let any faithful disciple (anointed or non-anointed), to slip by without being persecuted (2Tim.3:12; Luke 22:31). As with Job (Job 1:9,11,12), God allows this testing/sifting/cleansing/discipline (Amos 9:9; Haggai 2:7;  1Cor.3:13; Mal.3:1,2,3; Rev.3:18,19; Matt.3:11;  1Pet.4:1; Heb.5:8), to a responsive, symbolic "one-third" (Rev.2:9,10; Zech.13:9; Rev.9:15,20).

You are correct. Although it seems we face Satan's wrath alone (as Jesus felt while he was dying -Matt.27:46; 26:31); in truth, we are proving who we are, without any support or cheating (Matt.4:1; John 14:30; 16:33; 17:15). God's spirit does help us where needed, but the test is for us, and the reward is for our own faithfulness under test (1Cor.3:13; James 1:14;  1Cor.10:13; Rev.3:12,21). God can not do this for us. In choosing to take a righteous stand in our own heart and actions, for the God of Truth;
we prove whom and what we love, and which Master we choose to belong to, despite the adversity this brings. Nothing less is expected of those who will be found faithful by Christ.

My point is that while we feel alone, we have in spirit, the company of all those who have proven faithful, from Abel forward (Heb.12:1;  1Pet.5:9). When we enter the new world, we will joyfully see how many loyal ones of strong faith, belong to our new family.
