Holy Spirit at work / The "Token"

The transliteration of the congregations of 1Cor.14:33 is literally translated from Greek, --the "out-called of the Holy Ones", which shows that the seven congregations are made up of those "called" and "holy" (anointed ones). (Rev.1:20; Rom.1:7; Rev.20:6; 1Cor.14:33). The angel/messengers assigned to each of those groups are the members of the body who are assigned by God as apostles and prophets, to serve their congregations (Eph.3:4,5; 2:19,20; Rev.1:20).

QUESTIONS:

Dear Pearl,
i would like to know what you have been taught about the steward burying what faithful anointed have been sending them... that they ignore it and do not share this information, (because they are wicked and would lose their position).
 I know you get enough questions, but in my research I'm learning a lot about how the HS in the form of the "Token" to those chosen, teaches them.
 How does the Idea come to you about what to write?
Is it usually in a finished form?
Do scriptures comes to mind that you have never read?
That would show the HS Token is teaching you something you didn't know before.

I am not too clear on what you are asking.
You say,

All I can tell you, is that my own letter was buried, and all the anointed I have spoken to have sent similar letters which were also buried. By buried, I mean that the information sent was not acknowledged nor published. That response was sometimes affirmed by a written reply, either to the anointed one, or to the elders in their congregation.

Next you say;

The "token" of Holy Spirit is described at 2Cor.1:21,22...
"Now he which establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, is God; Who has also sealed us, and given us the token of the Spirit  in our hearts."

This is in harmony of what I have experienced.
Notice that the anointing token, is put in the heart...not in the mind.

The "token of the spirit" put in the heart by anointing,
is not the knowledge spoken of at 1John2:20,27, which is more gradually, put in the mind.
The exception is vision, which occurs at a definite time. In my case, much understanding was given in that moment. Increasing understanding of those visions already given, would also continue to unfold.

Although the knowledge of the mind we now are being given could also be considered a "token" (Because it will later be complete -1Cor.13:9,10); that kind of knowledge is put in the mind over time. (1Cor.2:16; Eph.4:23,24; 5:17).
This is not the same as the token in the heart, given at the time of anointing. I suspect that this "knowledge" of the mind is generally given gradually (Prov.4:18), because we are being raised as children of God,
and this process of correction, tests by Satan, and refinement, take time
(Eph.5:1; Heb.12:6; Prov.27:11; 2Tim.3:14,15,16,17; Luke22:31,32; Rev.12:17; Mal.3:3; Dan.12:10).

In fact, an anointed one's progress in the knowledge of God relies upon that person's progressive development of intimacy, faith, and trust in God's spirit (Eph.1:19; 1Pet.1:17,21; Rom.12:6). This requires experience with that spirit, as we learn to completely rely upon it as young children would, and progress in our imitation of Christ (Eph.4:20,21,13; Matt.18:3; 2Cor.3:4,5; Ps.78:7; Prov.22:19; Jer.17:7; 2Thess.3:5; James1:3,4,5; Phil.1:6; 1Pet.5:10).

Those who resist such a reliance due to a lack of Faith, will not progress. These are the ones Christ referred to as trees with "unripe figs" who do not bring anything to perfection, and will be abandoned up the coming wrath if they do not repent (Luke8:14; Heb.12:2; Rev.6:13; Jer.24:3,5,8,17; Matt.7:16). Such "trees" have hindered the operation of Holy Spirit within them (Eph.4:30; 1Thess.5:19; Acts7:51; Matt.7:19; Jer.48:13) by overconfidence in themselves or others. They can repent and be saved, if they respond to counsel (Luke13:7,8,9; John15:2,5; John6:27,28,29; 1Thess.2:13; Jer.4:4; Rev.3:2).
We are all expected, and must learn to bear,
 mature, fine fruit, even in "troublesome season" (2Tim.4:2; Mark11:13,14,20,21,22; Matt.24:20).

For those who become anointed, many things can happen due to God's spirit...not just one (Heb.10:16).
Some things happen at the moment of anointing, many occur later, as in any relationship.
If someone thinks that this anointment is just one thing that happened once, the multiple works of Holy Spirit might become confused with one another.

What is the spirit doing to a heart during anointment? (See Rom.2:29)
The heart is being circumcised by spirit...being cleansed and inducted.
The token in the heart is direct contact with Holy Spirit. It is like God touching you directly.
What heart-felt emotion does this cause....What does that token in the heart feel like?
That feeling highlights the truth of 1John4:8
LOVE
The token in the heart is an overwhelming flood of love as never experienced before...directly from God, as He chooses and cleanses your heart.
This is separate from the progressive learning through Christ (imparted due to one's anointed identity)...also by virtue of the anointed designation and Holy Spirit.
Those who are chosen, come under Christ's progressive teaching (Eph.4:20,21; Matt.13:12; John15:5; Rom.11:17).

Consider another translation of 2Cor.1:22...
"set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come"
That is the meaning of "token"!
This token is a small piece of the future reward...a "deposit"...a small taste of a larger joy. Can you see that?
That future feeling in the heart, is not knowledge, but a time when the heart of the anointed one will constantly be filled with a fullness of God's love, eternally.
That is the promise of the anointing's token...."guaranteeing what is to come".
Another scriptural reference to this circumcising of the heart, is Jer.31:33.
That scripture describes that deposit, as God's Laws being poured into the heart.
While it is not hard to imagine Divine Law as cleansing (circumcising) the heart,
how does the receiving of God's Love in the heart, compare to the receiving of His Laws?

God's Law is Love. If we love, we fulfill His Law (Matt.22:36,37,39; John13:34; 1John4:8; Rom.13:10; Gal.5:14; James2:8) (John15:9,10; John16:27)
Once we have felt the pure and boundless love of God and Christ, we understand better what pure righteousness, justice, and mercy are (1John4:10,11,12,13; 5:2,3). We do not understand the love of God, until we are given it. That love teaches us His Law of Love.
If we live by God's love as His children (Eph.5:1; 1John3:1,3; 4:8), we will never fail to live by His Law (1Cor.13:13). How is that token of God's Law of Love, a guarantee of what is to come?
See John16:22,23; Isa.11:9; Rev.21:4,5; Psalm33:5; 119:64)

So unlike what you thought... the original anointing token in the heart, does not directly "teaches them" in the mind. Rather I would say that the token of Love is given in the heart. This is separate than the progressive teaching in the mind. Yet I guess it's also true that the heart token teaches the anointed one about God's love and how much of it we will feel in the kingdom. It teaches us that the love God has given us, we are under obligation to show toward others (1John4:19; 3:10,11,14,18,19,23). It teaches us what life will be like for all, when God's love is fully expressed toward His beloved creation (Rom.8:22,19,20,21; 1Cor.2:9). And it teaches us the essence of God's Laws, which God gives us because of His Love (Isa.48:17,18; Deut.30:20).

But if you are talking about the gifts of insight and understanding to the mind, that is another aspect of what Holy Spirit does with the chosen. How can we divide our heart from our mind? They work together, but they are also distinct facets of our person. God puts His Laws, into both (Heb.8:10).

All anointed are directly given the token and promise of love in the heart,
but not all are chosen as prophets and apostles (which are gifts of some direct exclusive knowledge 1Cor.12:29; Amos3:7; Num.12:6; Eph.2:20).
Those not chosen as these, receive much knowledge through those chosen for this. This is how the apostles and prophets contribute to, and build up the body of Christ (1Cor.12:7; 1Pet.4:10; Eph.4:11,12,13).
Although some knowledge exclusively comes through the prophets and apostles...understanding and recognition of the Master's voice of truth, is still given to all by virtue of their anointing (John10:14,27,5,4; Luke8:10).
If it were not for that spirit, no one would recognize nor understand the truth (Mark4:10,11,12; Matt.16:17; Matt.11:25).
Although a prophet or apostle may be a messenger to the other anointed members
(messenger is the meaning of "angel" -Rev.1:20; 8:6; Josh.6:13)
which other members may be symbolized by the "seven Congregations" (1Cor.14:33) (Rev.1:20);
the ability to understand is still given to all, by means of Holy Spirit (1Thess.2:13; Matt.10:20; John16:13). Then you ask...

These are really hard questions to answer.
It is complicated. I usually learn all during the night. This must sound strange to those who have never has this experience (Matt.10:27; Job 33:14,15,16,17,18; Dan.4:5; Num.22:19,20). I do sleep, but when I wake up, I am very clear about what I have just learned.

This learning can also take the form of a response to prayer, such as when I ask for help to reply to a letter or question. While I start out having no idea what to say, once I start to write, it is like each thought comes in order, and the scriptures just pop into my head.
I do though, often, edit what I have written, in the sense that sometimes I can't get it all down fast enough. When I edit it, I remember a scripture or thought that I did get before, but didn't put down before I moved ahead. I think it is required of me to work as hard as I do at this. There are reasons why it has not been made too easy.
So no and yes, regarding the "finished form". You see, the prophets have to "remain in union" with Christ, because their learning is progressive (1John2:28; John15:5).
In this sense, I could edit EVERYTHING I've written in the past and add more (so no, nothing is totally complete). Something which may have expressed my complete knowledge last week, does not express what I understand today.

The visions however, were complete as regards what God has chosen to give me so far by that means. Learning more from what I have already seen though, is progressive.
As to whether or not I will ever receive more vision, I can not know or say.
It seems to me that what I was already shown, is so expansive, and will take time to fully convey. My personal feeling is that what I have already been shown, is enough to prophesy about the relevant events and identities significant to the end. God's work though, is up to Him, and who can know His mind or the details of His plan? (Rom.11:33,34; 1Cor.2:11,16)

Regarding scriptures which I have never read...
I have read the entire Bible,
but if you knew how bad my memory is,
you would know that my scripture recall is beyond just human ability (John14:26).
But I have less than human ability. I have begun to go the way of all my father's family...
a mental decline due to Alzheimer's. While I lose my ability to function in daily life,
I have thus far retained the ability to write and recall scriptures in a way unmatched by the youngest and healthiest of minds.
I attribute these things to God.
It is this ability to recall scripture that Holy Spirit uses, to teach me both personally,
and in what I should write.

My learning experience mirrors my writing.
In other words, just as I give answers with scripture...
so am I given answers with scripture.
As I am expressing the truths I am seeing while I write, I am also given a scripture where that truth is recorded or referred to.
I am very thankful for this method,
because my love of truth is overjoyed to be learning directly from God's Word,
combined with His directive spirit.

I know that all this mercy would end, if I did not "remain in union" with Christ,
and keep working to feed his sheep.
Making Christ the only "vine" that feeds me, keeps me from doing any research to consider other sources of knowledge.
The scripture about a cup running over comes to mind (Psalm23:5).
I already have more than I can handle,
so why look elsewhere? (John15:4,5; 1John2:28; John6:68)

Much of what I learn, I learn right along with my readers,
because I don't know what the answer "for today" will be, until I am done writing it (Matt.6:11).
That is pretty much how all my writing goes.
For articles, I start by feeling a burning need to take care of giving the readers understanding of a certain concept (because I perceive the effect a certain ignorance or deception, is having on their faith...the danger), and when I sit down to write about it, I am guided as I am for the answers to questions.

When I need an answer in which I know of no scriptural directive...
something personal that effects my ministry or obedience...
I pray. I have had miraculous answers to clearly direct me.
How that has galvanized and solidified my faith!

Who are the "Bankers"?

“Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’
 “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest." (Matt.25:24,25,26,27)

Who are the "Bankers" in this illustration?
Those symbolized by spiritual "Bankers" are mentioned in 2Cor.2:17; 2Pet.2:3; 1Tim.6:5; Rev.13:17. These are those who create a "commerce" out of worship (Matt.21:12; 1Pet.4:17).
The "gold" assigned and exchanged among Christ's household slaves in the time of the end, is not literal money, but spiritual currency. Jesus directs his slaves to "give freely" from what they "freely received" from him. But the "peddlers of God's Word" disobey Christ, and use these spiritual provisions for their own advantage, power, and stature with men.
Whoever allows their worship of God to become entangled with these spiritual "Bankers",
will be under compulsion to barter their loyalty (2Cor.11:3), obedience (Rom.6:16), worship (Rev.13:8), service (1Cor.7:23; Luke 4:8), and chastity before God (Rom.1:25),
in exchange for
counterfeit spirit (1Tim.4:1), favor with men (John5:44; Gal.1:10), false peace and security with God (1Thess.5:3), and empty spiritual provisions (Isa.29:8; 55:2,1).
Those who dominate, desire and receive such capitalism,
receive their reward in full (Luke6:24,25,26; Matt.6:2; James5:1).

Out of fear, a slave of Christ who got entangled with such commerce, might be intimidated into burying the free truths of the Master, since such Bankers forbid any commerce but their own (Rev.13:17). A slave possessing a golden talent of Truth from Christ (Rev.3:18; Matt.25:14,15), might fear giving away that free truth in the midst of a marketplace dominated by the Bankers, especially since he is aware that this is forbidden.
Jesus here is telling the cowardly slave who "grows afraid", that he has an alternative.
How could an anointed slave deposit the spiritual treasures entrusted to him by the Master Christ (Matt.28:19,20; Acts1:2,8,9; Matt.25:14,15), with "Bankers", instead of burying/hiding that treasure of truth completely?
How might a slave of Christ, (being entrusted with the truths Christ taught), give that truth to "Bankers",
so that these symbolic "Bankers" could conduct "commerce" for profit with it?

The book of Revelation is very forthcoming, and elaborates extensively about this spiritual commerce in the time of the end (Rev.13:17). That commerce is being conducted by the false prophet (Rev.13:11) and it's supportive Wild Beast (Rev.13:17). Those two allies gain dominion over the anointed slaves of Christ (Rev.13:7). While these anointed slaves (who are entrusted with the truth of Christ -1John2:20,27; 1Cor.4:1) are captive to the Beast (Rev.13:10), they will not be permitted to publicly buy or sell Christ's spiritual provisions (Rev.3:18) (Rev.20:4; 6:9). But they CAN forward those insights to these "Bankers". Jesus says that this is preferable to not sharing truth at all (Zech.8:16; Eph.4:25), as this "lazy slave" chose to do and was condemned by the Master for it.
Of course those who courageously go further than what these Bankers permit, by speaking out to all they can, will pay a penalty at the "Bankers" hands (Rev.13:17,15; 11:7; 6:9).
These courageous pro-claimers, are the ones who conquer Satan (Rev.12:10,11) and receive the Kingdom (Rev.20:4; 6:10,11; Matt.25:20,21).

Testimonials to Christ's blessings of truth are being declared today in part, when the anointed send letters sourced in the grace of God's spirit, to the GB. These men have the power to determine what faith and deeds will be required of those they lead, what is published and fed to the sheep, and how positions under them are apportioned. These men determine in a spiritual sense, what is Bought and what is Sold. These men are the symbolic "Bankers" of Christ's illustration (Rev.13:17; Isa.55:2; 23:8; Dan.11:39).

The lesson?
If fear prevents an anointed one from teaching publicly the truth they know, due to the monopoly of spiritual commerce in the time of the end....
If they fear men, [(the power and authority of the Bankers) (wild beast and false prophet)];
Jesus says that they should at least forward that information to that Organizational Beast and it's leadership GB.

Yet prophecy tell us that in time, the Harlot will not remain over the Beast (Rev.17:16,17).
For a short time at the brink of the End, the Beast alone will reign without her (Rev.17:11,12).
The Beast then, shares the role of Banker with the Harlot GB.... even now.
How so?
The spiritual selling is now largely conducted by NON-anointed writing committees. Even now, the GB has begun to lose it's assertive power over what these publish.
In this sense, even the steward slave (GB) can be like the slave who buried their one talent, instead of passing it on to these Gentile (non-anointed) Bankers.
How so?
Remember that as "Steward" slave... the GB has been chosen to accept and manage the provisions coming from the other household slaves of the Master (Luke12:42). If the steward fails to manage these spiritual resources, the steward is wasteful of these provisions (labors of the other anointed)(Luke16:1,2). The present steward (GB) "buries" the letters of insight from the anointed who write to them. In this way, the GB also buries their own talent of responsibility.
Let's examine more closely, how the steward himself can be the lazy slave, who buried his one talent, and failed to "deposit" the "gold" from Christ, with the "Bankers".

The Steward is now over an organization of counterfeit priests; "Gentile" priests -(non-anointed Jews -Rom.2:28,29)/(These counterfeit priests are the disgusting thing standing in the Holy Place -Mark13:14; 2Thess.2:4).
 Only those who have the circumcision of the heart are to be priests of God. (Num.3:10; Eze.44:16; Mal.2:7)

This alliance between the Steward GB and the non-anointed Elders, compares to the Harlot riding the Gentile Wild Beast. This is also depicted as the False Prophet of Rev.13:11 who empowers and then exploits the Image of that same Beast.
As the unfaithful in covenant with God have done before, that prophet has installed these counterfeit Gentile priests over God's Temple (2Thess.2:4) and has delegated to them priestly duties belonging to the genuine anointed priests (Eze.44:6,7,8,9; 2Chron.13:9).
These impostor priests, are the "Bankers" within each Congregation of "J.W.'s". At the Congregation level, they decide and enforce what spiritual provisions can be "bought" and "sold".

How can Christ's illustration of the one-talent lazy slave, apply to the GB? (Luke16:1,3)
The steward GB had the choice of passing the letters of truth from the "domestics", on to the part of the Organization that handles/determines publishing (the writing department). This literature is where the rules and details of this "commerce"/"buying" and "selling", are published. Although these are performing illegitimate priestly services by being the source of spiritual provisions (Mal.2:7), the GB could have passed the letters from the other anointed, on to them to handle, instead of completely burying/discarding, the information the other anointed slaves sent directly to them.
Had the GB passed the letters on to the writing department, at least Christ, upon his return, could have then "received it back with interest.".
What does this mean?
These counterfeit Gentile priests are also identified in scripture as the "man of lawlessness"/"disgusting thing" in the "Holy Place"/Wild Beast/Locust-Scorpions/Anti-Christ.
They are going to have to answer to Christ for many things.
They have persecuted and stolen the authority ("crown") belonging to the genuine priests (Rev.9:7,10,21; 13:6,7; 11:7). They have demanded that the genuine priests/anointed, worship the "Image"/Idol that represents the counterfeit priesthood that persecutes them (Rev.13:7,8,15; 2Thess.2:4; Rev.20:4; 11:7).
Jesus will not only make them pay back exactly what they took.
The penalty to those who have ravaged his brothers, as well as the gold Christ gave them, will be paid back with interest (Matt.25:45; Rev.18:6; Jer.16:18).

The Final Witness / Good News of Kingdom

Jesus told us that the last thing to take place before this age finishes (Greek: "the consummation"), is a world-wide witness (Matt.24:14). He called it "the well-message of the Kingdom" (Greek transliteration). That message is defined for us at Isa.48:20,21.

Isa.48:20,21 includes assurance, as to why it is safe to leave Babylon the Great. "The Lord has redeemed his servant Jacob". This means that despite "Jacob's" sins, including that of idolatry (anointed within the Organization who are marked as slaves to that Idol -Rev.13:7,8,16), God has made provision for Jacob's "twelve tribes" of invited anointed to be forgiven (Rev.7:4; Rom.9:6,8 -link to "God Saves Israel"), if they flee "Babylon" and serve Him. Verse 21 assures them, that if they flee, they will not lack spiritual provisions. Just as Moses provided water from a rock, and thereby miraculously sustained the lives of the exiles; God's present day prophets will also provide living waters out in the "wilderness". They are the rocks/stones, who became Abraham's seed (Matt.3:9; Gal.3:29; Dan.2:45; Matt.16:18;  1Pet. 2:5). Yes...that temple of living stones are and will provide living water, to any who leave the condemned land of spiritual drought (Jer.2:13; Zech.13:1; Isa.65:13; 30:25; 55:1; Eze.47:1,9; Joel 3:18). They need not fear that if they flee the condemned City (Matt.24:16; Rev.18:4), that they will perish (Matt.22:9; Eze.36:8; Zech.14:8).
This message must be declared to all those claiming to know God [especially to the Chosen Ones ("Jacob" and his "twelve tribes") held captive among them] before the end.
These are the ten virgins, who must be woken up (Matt.25:5,6). What are these anointed directed to do upon arising? (Matt.25:6; Heb.13:13)

In order to "meet the Bridegroom", they must join him "outside the camp". This requires them to accept their condemnation ("disgrace"/"shame" -Heb.13:13) at the hands of the Organizational Beast (Rev.6:9,11; 11:7; 12:11), in imitation of Christ (Rev.11:8; Rom.6:5).
But we recall that only a symbolic half of those virgins are prepared, and have enough lamplight to immediately set out to meet the Bridegroom. The other 5 virgins choose to fill their waning lamps with "bought" oil (Matt.25:8,10; Rev.13:17).
Once all 10 virgins fulfill this prophetic illustration, the door to the wedding feast is shut (Matt.25:10;  2Thess. 1:8,9). All anointed are sealed, and the wheat and weeds are finished being sorted (Matt.3:12; 13:49,39; Rev.14:15). Then the end comes.

Can you see that previous to this final sorting, the virgins must be woken up at "midnight" by a "cry"/herald? (Matt.25:6)
That "cry" is the final witness....the one being spoken of at Matt.24:14 and Isa.48:20,21.
Once exposed to this warning, each virgin must choose their reaction to it.

Will they "go out to meet the Bridegroom", and individually finish their race by accepting
their personal humiliations in imitation of Christ's death?...
        (Matt.25:6; Heb.13:13; Rom.6:5; Rev.11:7,8,9,10; 6:9,11;  2Tim. 4:7)
Or, will they prefer to "buy" the misleading security of branded slavery to the doctrines of men (Eze.13:10;  1Thess. 5:3; Rev.13:17),
      at the cost of their spiritual virginity? 
(2Cor. 11:2,3,4,20;  1Cor. 7:23;  1Tim. 4:1; Rev.17:1,2; 16:14,15,16)

Does Satan know that this lifesaving message is due to be declared, so that all those Chosen will be exposed to it and be sorted?
Does he know that his world ends when this message finishes it's purpose?
Of course.
What is he doing to prepare the minds under his control, to be inebriated, blinded, deceived, and predisposed to reject the warning/call to freedom?
Satan is already at work through those whom he can use, to sour the minds of those headed for death, so that they will not be receptive to this final warning.

Your willingness to demonstrate is greatly needed. But his must be done in harmony with God's will and purpose, and the exact message Christ intends (according to the above scriptures).
The message conveyed, must be the one sourced with the Lord of Truth,
not sourced in spite, revenge, and personal vindication.

Discerning the Body / A God of Order

I have found it necessary to write about the Body of Christ,
and it's members individually (1Cor.12:27).

Even though all anointed are given spirit and truth (John 4:24;  1John 2:20,27; John 16:13),
not all are given identical gifts of truth and spirit (1Cor.12:4,5,6,7; Acts 18:26).
God distributes these gifts in different capacities (1Cor.12:17,18).
All are to benefit from the gifts given to each (1Cor.12:7,21,22,25,26).

Many even among the anointed do not want to accept the scriptures which clarify this arrangement...
Eph.2:20; Phil.3:17;  1Cor.14:32,33;  1Cor.12:28; Eph.3:5,2,3,4,5.
These scriptures clearly show the arrangement and order God has designed Christ's body to have.
When it says,
"First apostles, second prophets, third teachers....."
(1Cor.12:28,29)
It is not speaking of a time frame.
How do we know this?
Did any prophets come before the apostles?
Did any prophets come before Christ (the cornerstone)?
Are there no more "prophets" after the emergence of "teachers"?
Are there no more teachers after there are healers?

 By a brief examination of the fact that this is not a chronological progression of layers,
the question then arises; what does it mean to be first, second, third, etc.?
Jesus referred to that answer at Matt.20:16; Mark 10:40; and Luke 14:10,11.

1Cor.12:18 reads;
"But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be."
Does this not make clear that the various parts of Christ's body are placed...
not according to time, but according to God's assignment for them?

This can be compared to a typical army.
Certainly a General can be appointed after the army already had Sergeants.
The scriptures prove this application accurate...
When we read Acts 2:17,18...
"‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy."

and Rev.11:3;
"And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.

Clearly, there will be prophets after there were teachers.
There are prophets in the last days, and there were teachers in the first century
(1Tim.4:16; Rom.12:7;  2Tim.2:2,24; Matt.28:20;  1Cor.4:17; etc.).

Since we know prophets are "second", and teachers are "third",
this cannot be referring to a chronological progression,
since some prophets (2nd) come after some teachers (3rd).

Many even among anointed, cannot accept that it is just as the scriptures reveal....
the foundation upon which the others are built, supported, and function
is apostles and prophets
(Eph.2:20,21; 3:5;  1Cor.3:10;  2Tim.1:13; 2:2; 3:14;  2Pet.1:19; Heb.13:7; Titus 2:15).

We are told that Christ is BOTH... the root and the offspring of David.
This is not only about chronological order, but most significantly about a dynamic structure of purpose and operation.

To illustrate;
In a literal army, there are various classifications.
Each have their assignment and place within the functioning of that army.
The army is not built from the ground up, but rather all classifications are perpetually
renewed as vacancies open.
The army is not constructed by choosing the commander in chief first,
the generals, second;
the colonels third;
the lieutenants, forth;
the sergeants fifth; etc.
  so that for a time there are only the commander and generals in the army,
and later the colonels are added, while there are still no lieutenants.

Instead...
God sent His people prophets, judges and deliverers first....
   leading up to the Messiah cornerstone.

Even after the emergence of "teachers", there would be replacement prophets....
just as a literal army may need replacement Generals and Colonels to direct.
A General can receive his post and assignment, after sergeants already exist.
The appointment has nothing to do with a chronological progression of officers.
All that matters is a soldier's assigned position,
and the relation that position has to the rest of the army.
In this way, there is order and accomplishment.
It is God who chooses such positions in Christ's spiritual army (Rev.19:11,14).
He sees to it that all positions are filled as they are needed,
and He fills them with whomever He chooses, whenever He chooses.

Yet unlike a literal army,
the members of Christ's body love and respect one another,
as well as one another's God-assigned position. This is because
anything we have or do, is not from us, but from God 
(1Cor.4:7;  1Pet.4:10,11; Rom.11:36; 12:3; Phil.2:3).

When we are told that God arranges things orderly, (1Cor.14:33)
this is especially true of His Temple, the body of Christ (1Cor.3:16; Eph.2:20,21,22).
All anointed are strongly commanded to discern that order within the Body (1Cor.12:18; Eph.5:17).

1Cor.11:29 reads;
"For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord, eats and drinks judgment on himself."

All members of the body must recognize the order within Christ's body, so that it can function according to the will of Him who created it.
One of the most important things a chosen one can do, is to soon discern their place in the body, following anointment.
Imagine someone chosen to be a "healer", deciding he will rather be a prophet...
or an administrator, deciding instead that he wants to be an apostle...
or a prophet deciding he would rather heal.
If this occurred, what would result?
Would the members of Christ "go on perceiving what the will of God is"?
Would they even be capable of accomplishing the will of their Father amidst such chaos?

How is it that the apostles and prophets are "first" and "second", and establish a "foundation" of orderly structure within the Body of Christ?
Imagine if we did not have the Greek scriptures which came from the apostles and Christ,
but rather, laid a new foundation written by someone chosen to be a healer (1Cor.3:11).
How could the final prophets sound the warnings sourced in God's Word, if that Word were ignored by them?
How could a teacher teach, without having the guidance of the apostolic accounts (2Tim.2:2), and the prophet's interpretations and insights given them by divine vision (Num.12:6; Amos 3:7; Rev.10:7;  2Pet.1:19,20)?

The Body of Christ is now in confusion (the meaning of "Babylon").
This should compel every anointed one to be sober in examining themselves (Gal.6:4;  1Cor.11:28).
They must also be sober to "discern the body" and their functioning place within it.
If someone chosen to be an apostle, ignored the cornerstone, would he be equipped to do his assignment?
If a prophet ignored Christ and the apostles, would he be equipped to offer the fine fruit of true interpretation of prophecy? (Matt.10:27; Rev.11:3)
If someone chosen to be a "teacher" ignored the prophets; would he be equipped to teach current revelation and warning?
(2Chron.25:15,16; Zech.1:6; Eze.33:4; Isa.58:1; Rev.10:7; Eze.3:7; Amos 4:12)

Many teachers today have become self-assuming and rebellious in this regard. Since Holy Spirit does not support their taking a position of prophet or apostle, they must resort to hours of independent research into worldly wisdom, in search of something to teach. Their doctrines are sourced outside both the Body, and outside God's spirit and design. They are working independently of the Body, God's will, and Holy Spirit (1John 2:19; Acts 20:30; Col.2:19). These do not "discern the body"; and when they partake of the emblems which portray that very arrangement of order, they are judged.
These rebel against God's will for them. As a result, their own works by divine calling, are not "fully performed" (Gal.6:4;  1Cor.11:28; Rom.12:6,7,8; Rev.3:2)

The Truth I have been shown, and in obedience, work to offer others,
is often rejected on the basis of my flesh (Gal.3:28,26; Acts 2:18), and upon a denial and lack of faith concerning my divine assignment within the Body. That assignment is completely unrelated to my own will (Rom.9:16; John 15:16;  1Cor.12:18; 4:1).
All those chosen who reject God's arrangement for them in this time of the end, are in peril (Matt.10:41;  1Thess.2:13; Prov.16:18; Phil.4:9).
I do not ask for others to accept my own authority 
(Rom.3:23; John 5:43; 7:16,17,18; 12:49; 14:10; 17:21;  1Cor.4:7).
Certainly, we are warned about false prophets (Matt.7:15; 24:24;  1John 4:1).
But this should not result in the members of the Body, rejecting the prophets who are such at God's direction and choosing.
The scriptures tell us how to discern who we should accept or reject (Matt.7:20; John 7:17,18;  1John 4:1,2,3,4,5,6; Mal.3:18)! Put that knowledge to use, and stop being indecisive!

Should a prophet who proves to be offering fine fruit be rejected on the basis of their gender,
 or based upon one's discontent with their own assignment? 
(1Cor.3:3; 11:18,19;  2Cor.12:15,16,17,19,20)
Who are we to question God's choices (Isa.45:9; Rom.9:19,20,21)?
This is precisely the lesson of Luke 14:7,8,9,10,11.

As a prophet, should I be resentful that I am not an apostle?
Should I resent that I am not Jesus Christ?
Should I resent that I am not a healer, or simply a teacher, or a translator?
Do you imagine that I would not find joy in such relief ?
I expect that I don't fully understand the responsibilities of the other anointed members of Christ's Body; but I do know that the responsibility of being a prophet is crushing, if not in constant reliance upon God.
If anyone imagines that being a part of the Temple's foundation means to enjoy prominence or domination of others, I remind you of the words of Christ...
"But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant." (Matt.23:11)
(1Cor.4:9; Acts 7:52; Matt.23:37; Phil.2:17;  2Cor. 12:15;  1John 3:16; Col.1:24)
I am here only to serve, as I hope many of you are already aware.


Clearly by their obvious position within the Organization...the GB is the Steward over the household of God's slaves (Luke 12:42). Yet obviously, to be over slaves is not to be the only slave. Of all Christ's anointed slaves, any of them may and should, prove "faithful and discreet" (Col.3:24;  1Cor.4:2). Many anointed slaves have been thrown out of the Master's household by the wicked steward (Luke 12:45,46; Hosea 6:5)!
What will become of that house when all the faithful are out..faithfully functioning outside the condemned City (Luke 21:20,21,22; 17:29,30)?
 (Matt.23:37,38; Rev.18:4,5,24; Matt.25:6; Heb.13:13; Rev.6:11)
Have not the GB violated Prov.25:6,7,8...by rejecting the foundation...
those chosen by God to be prophets and apostles?
They reject the healthful teachings of Christ, subsequently penned by the apostles.
They reject the present prophecies, as well as the present fulfillment of past prophecies.

The GB has laid a new foundation for themselves...
They have made themselves the cornerstone (Phil.2:6;  1Cor.3:11), being benefactor to a NON-anointed Organization of counterfeit priests (Rev.13:14,15; 19:20)...
creating a foreign temple to a "foreign god" 
(Dan.11:37,38,39; Rev.9:11; 13:8,15; Eze.8:5,6,7,8,9,10).
They have erected a counterfeit Mt.Zion (Rev.8:8; Zech.4:7,9),

and a decoy "Kingdom" while Satan yet rules.

The true anointed prophets will arise at God's direction, spirit, and will.
Their purpose is to warn those headed for death due to rebellion,
and a leaving of God and His expressed direction (Isa.42:8; 48:11; Rev.13:8,15).

This rebellion can be committed by anointed both within and without the Organization (Dan.11:35; Matt.23:37;  1Cor.12:18,28; 11:29).
We now live in the greatest time of grave spiritual testing. We are all in the "valley of the decision", where the Almighty God will pass judgment on all those claiming to know Him. In all humility, fear and trembling, we best focus on how to please Him,
rather than griping about our assignments
(Heb.2:1,2,3,4; Rom.15:3,5,6,7; Jude 1:16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25).
Do we belittle our own place within God's plan of salvation and mercy, which is so expansive as to be beyond our comprehension?

There will be order in the Temple of God, exactly according to His decree.
It is our own choice, whether or not we will be in harmony with the decree of His order.
We will reap what we sow,
which may not be what we prefer to imagine, if we resist the Spirit 
(Acts 7:51,52;  1Thess.5:19,20; 4:8;  1Cor.14:32,33; Amos 3:7,6; Rev.10:7).

I come as prophet, not only to the GB, but to all the captive chosen remnant (Rev.13:7,10; Col.2:8),
  as well as all those deceived by the false prophet, it's sea beast, and all those marked as their slaves (Rev.13:11,15,8,14; 19:20; 16:13; 13:16).

I ask nothing for myself.
I only offer what I have been given,
to be accepted or rejected.
Beyond my own reactions of joy, grief, fear, and awe;
...the consequences due each anointed one,
         based upon their acceptance or rejection of their own assignment,
         and the assignment of another,
are up to them.

Why secondly, to prophets?
Because it is to prophets that God declares the interpretations of the scriptures, and what He is going to do, before he does it…
“Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7)
“But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.” (Rev.10:7)

Are all members of Christ, Prophets?
Paul asked this same question…
“Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?” (1Cor.12:29)

Well, although we know all are not apostles (There were 12 - Rev.21:14),
we can know if all are prophets by looking at Num.12:6…
“God said, “Listen to my words: “When there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams.”

If we have not experienced God speaking to us in vision, we are not a prophet in the body of Christ, according to God.

But if we go back to 1Cor.12:4-7,12,18
“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit,  to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. Just as a body, though one, has many different parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.”

“And He gave SOME as apostles, and SOME as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ” (Eph.4:12)

Why has God given different assignments within the body of Christ?
“If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.” (1Cor.12:17,18)
    1Cor.11:29 tells us that if we do not discern this body of Christ with it’s various parts, as well as our place within it (1Cor.11:31), we stand condemned.

God has placed us within an order so that the body of Christ can be built up, according to the assignment of each part. We are told that the spirit which prophets receive is used according to their own faith…
“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith” (Rom.12:6)
“The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets, for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.” (1Cor.14:32,33)

What is the reason given?
God is a God of order and peace. If a teacher does not submit to the apostles, is there order in the body of Christ, and is it built up?
“Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.” (Heb.13:17)

What does it mean to be the foundation? Is this merely speaking of an order of time?
No, that is not possible, because there were prophets before the apostles (Acts 7:52), and there are prophets which come in the time of the end, long after first century teachers (Rev.11:3; Heb.5:12).

Paul helps us to understand what it means to be a part of the foundation…
“By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s LABOR will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work.” (1Cor.3:10,12,13)

Clearly this first scripture shows us that the foundation Paul laid, was not one of mere time, but was one of teachings, faith, and example (1Cor.11:1). The continuing work on that building, would continue to add “living stones” (1Pet.2:5,9).
“Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own LABOR. For we are God’s fellow workers (2Cor.6:1); you are God’s field, GOD’s BUILDING.” (1Cor.3:8,9)
“Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not the result of my work in the Lord? Even though I may not be an apostle to others, surely I am to you! For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.” (1Cor.9:1,2)
“We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.” (1John 1:3)

If you disagree with the divine order God has given the body, as depicted in the scriptures I have cited, please publish here how you understand these previous scriptures.

Just as Paul could not help where God placed him in the body of Christ, neither can I (1Cor.15:9,10). I do not take pride in my place in the Body, but I have anxiety and fear to fulfill what God has assigned to me.

To those given more, more is demanded (Luke 12:48).
Each slave is given according to their ability…
“For it is just like a man about to go on a journey, who called his own slaves and entrusted his possessions to them. ″To one he gave five talents, to another, two, and to another, one, each according to his own ability; and he went on his journey.” (Matt.25:14,15)
And yet, without Christ (John 15:5) and the power of God (Phil.4:13), we can do nothing.

Those given much are expected to serve others more…
“Calling them to Himself, Jesus said to them, “You know that those who are recognized as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them; and their great men exercise authority over them. ″But it is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant; and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be slave of all.” (Mark 10:42,43,44)

"So I will very gladly spend for you everything I have and expend myself as well. If I love you more, will you love me less?" (2Cor.12:15)

The Steward's Sacred Trust

Dear Pearl,
I do have a nagging question, one I have shelved until now.  I had read your essay, "Three Parables, One Meaning"  to my husband, and on getting to this part:

"We see in Matt. 25:25 that, eventually the brightness of spiritual light coming from the other domestics becomes intimidating, causing this wicked slave to "become afraid". This moves him to bury what he views as a threat. This is in strange harmony with what the Governing Body has done with the letters of understanding coming from other faithful slaves around the world, discarding (burying) and discouraging them, from contributing."

...it made my husband wonder how talents could be given away (in the form of letters) when each has received a specific amount; in essence, the burying of talents belonging to another slave.

And contrasting that with this, your comment in ""Our Accounting with the Master"", it says:

"Then another servant came and said, ‘Sir, here is your mina [Rev.3:18; Eph.5:16)
What is this "Mina"?
TRUTH and TIME to use it-- 1Thess.2:4; Gal.2:7; Mark4:11; Acts20:24; Rom.3:2; 2Cor.5:19; 1Tim.1:11; Matt.16:27; 1Cor.1:8; 4:5; 9:17; 1Pet.1:7]. What will each anointed one do with the precious truths Christ has entrusted him with?....
Wrap them in a cloth? (Luke19:20)
Bury them in the "earth"? (Matt.25:25)"

I hope I am making this question clear. These definitions, I guess, need clarification in my mind...and his.  I am just grateful my husband listens from time to time as he is so sick of hearing what the Watchtower has done and is doing.  Your article about moving forward was very helpful to me - progressing instead of digressing.  Prophecy involves the organization, but when hearing truth and understanding that prophesy, one can't ignore the involvement of the organization and those needing to know truth.

I hope to make plain to you that these two statements are not contradictory, but are complementary.
First...it will help to review a few simple points...
In the illustration of a Master giving his slaves "talents"/"gold";
are we talking about literal monies?
The Master is Christ (Rev.3:18). The gold he dispenses is a knowledge of truth, or some assigned responsibility within the Body of Christ. The work of the apostles/prophets/teachers, is to use that truth, by sharing it (Matt.10:7,8 B; Isa.55:1); or to use that gift (1Cor.12:4,5,6,7,9,25,30) in building up that Body.
Can you consider that the very responsibilities ("talents") which the slaves receive, they must give away in order to use them correctly? Yet, when you share (give away) what you know, do you lose it?
No. You still have the same amount in yourself.
We do not lose what we know, even if the person we shared it with, throws what we gave them, away.

You asked;

So besides asking how one could give away what one receives from Christ,
you seem to also question how one slave could bury the knowledge of a different slave, right?
I hope to give a full answer to both questions...

Okay, first see how the slaves of Christ (given "gold"--Matt.28:20) need to "invest" it...give it away in order to get a return (Matt.25:20). This is a parallel to Ec.11:1:
"Ship your grain across the sea; after many days you may receive a return"
Can you see that "grain" is a symbol for spiritual food (John6:51,27)?
This spiritual food can certainly be encapsulated within "letters", such as they are, even within the Bible's books. Those entrusted with this "gold"/truth (Matt.25:14; 1Cor.4:1; 1Thess.2:4; Deut.15:10; Acts5:20) must both... remain in union with Christ's progressive teaching, and "bear much fruit" (spiritual food for others) as a result (Matt.10:27; 7:17,20; John21:17; Prov.11:30; Ps.92:12,13,14; Joel2:22,24)....

"5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples." John15:5,8
This compares to the faithful slaves, who gain talents for the returned Master/bear much fruit.
Should that gold/fruit/truth/light, be buried? (Matt.5:14,15,16)
Could it be distributed to others, even in the form of a letter?
Yes!...The apostle Paul did it all the time, and those letters are recorded for us in the scriptures.

By sharing the insight Christ gave Apostle Paul, he did not lose any of the truth he possessed. But by working with the Master's treasure, he received more (Matt.25:29,23; Prov.4:18).
I understand this experience...Because the more I am faithful with the treasures of Christ (writing and teaching what I am receiving), the more spiritual food Christ gives me to share (Luke12:37; Matt.25:10; 13:12).

 That fruit (John15:8) is what the faithful produce, based upon the same spiritual truth that the Master entrusted to his slaves. That truth is depicted in the illustration as "gold" talents. Putting the "gold" to use, is the same as bearing fruit/spiritual food for others. Not only is this food to be used/dispersed/given to others (1Cor.9:16; 1Tim.4:16), and not to be buried....
it must also be forwarded to the "Steward" of the anointed household. 
    That steward has been appointed within the body of Christ as "abilities to direct"/"administrations"/"guidance" (SEE 1Cor.12:28). The steward slave has the responsibility to receive all the domestic's contributions, and forward them in a "digestible" orderly format, such as a literal steward would use the provisions from the other slaves (workers in the garden/cooks/herdsmen/etc.), and use those provisions to plan, prepare, and serve a meal to all, from those provisions (Luke12:42).

In this way, the steward is not chosen to be an apostle or prophet (1Cor.12:12,18,19,20,29; Rev.2:2; 2Thess.2:2), but rather one who organizes/oversees/manages, the available provisions from all...to all.
All of the "gold"/spiritual food/truth, that the steward gains possession of, is by means of the work of other slaves who are apostles, prophets, and teachers (1Cor.12:28,29). Because the sweatless Steward does not have to "dig" or "beg" himself for what is sent to him, his job might be considered only "one" talent of responsibility (Luke16:3; Matt.25:24,25)....that of household manager. That is his responsibility/"talent".
The steward can choose to dispense the spiritual provisions forwarded to him
in a timely, efficient manner (Matt.24:45)
OR
He can beat those who obey the Master by contributing their lot,
and can choose to bury what he is receiving from his fellow slaves (Matt.24:49; Luke16:1,2).
This would be at the same, burying his own "talent" of responsibility.

At Luke chapter 16, you can see that such a steward is considered "wasteful" of the goods coming from the other slaves. Yet all goods really belong to the Master who provided them for use. This is why all slaves must answer to him for what they have done (or not done -Mark13:36).

The "specific amount" each apostle/prophet/teacher slave receives from the Master is not literal money, but rather a distinct possession...
a growing personal perception and understanding of scriptural truth, and the responsibilities that go along with that treasure...whether our assignment is to hear, see, record and forward truth...or to accept and publish it.
The Master expects each one to accept their individual calling, invest their life into accomplishing it, and be ready to receive more direction. They must prepare to present the Master with what they have accomplished (Matt.25:20). All anointed are expected to move on after their anointing, and to grow in knowledge by means of spirit and scripture (Heb.6:1; 5:14; 1Cor.2:6). Those assigned to teach or prophesy, must then "invest" what life-imparting treasure they have received from the Master (2Cor.4:7; John3:27; Eph.2:20), within the hearts of others (1Thess.2:13; Acts20:20; 2Cor.3:2; John4:14).
According to whatever each "Body" member was assigned to do (1Cor.12:4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,28), they should do, without a comparison or overlap into, someone else's assignment.
For the Steward slave, his "talent"/responsibility, is simply to manage the provisions coming in.
If he rejects/buries those provisions coming from his fellows, he also buries his own responsibility/"talent".

Christ foresaw that in the time of the end, the Steward slave would be wicked and powerful. Revelation is full of symbols depicting this. He knew the tribulation this would cause for all his household. What would the rest of the anointed household do under such conditions? All this was prophesied about. The other slaves are not without direction from the Master.

I think your second question surrounds this statement...
"What will each anointed one do with the precious truths Christ has entrusted him with?"

While each individual anointed one can choose to betray their own individual assignment/stewardship (1Pet.4:10; Gal.6:4), by burying (not sharing) the insight they have received by spirit...
             ...or by not building up the body of Christ (by healing, prophesying, interpreting, managing)...
...The steward slave in particular has been entrusted with the insight given to other slaves.
He too can choose to bury what is his sacred trust.

As usual, I could have done better in making things clearer at the articles you cited. I am always disappointed in myself for not doing a better job in writing. I often review and improve what I previously wrote, adding scriptures and clarifying a thought by a better choice of words.
The "Three Parables" article was my first published article. I have learned much more since then.
Even so, I decided though not to overhaul it (as if there is "nu lite"), but rather allow readers to see the progression which occurs over time as anointed remain in union with Christ (1John2:28). While the information is elementary in comparison to recent posts, I don't know of anything at this point, that needs correcting.

Because of the volume of letters I sometimes receive, I am hurried in my responses. I try my best to take care with each one and satisfy their individual needs, but I often fall short. If this is the case with this response, please follow up and I will try to hit closer to the bullseye :)

Revelation's "chronology"

Just a quick question regarding the 24 elders and how you understand the sequence of events in Rev i.e. before the seals are opened we see as per your quote the 24 elders:
...And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”...

Now my question is, since this statement appears to have been made before even the 1st seal is opened, who are these 24 elders and who and where are the souls spoken of as being seen beneath the altar that are not manifest until the opening of the 5th seal?

...and when he opened the fifth seal I saw underneath the altar the souls of those slaughtered because of the word of God and because of the witness work they used to have...(Rev 6:9)

"Sequence of events" is a very risky premise when dealing with the scroll of Revelation.

I will try to explain the nature of such visions....

Divine vision is designed to translate spirit realities into symbolic physical images.
Only God can accomplish this translation perfectly, and only God can connect a human consciousness to the meaning of what is seen, or what is described in a written record of what was seen (such as Bible prophecy based upon divine visions).

Understanding such complex descriptions are accomplished piecemeal, in portions which our mind can conceive, assimilate, and integrate into the whole overall picture of truth.

When I applied the means by which my own vision experiences became understood, to John's vision experiences....that's when the mysteries of this scroll started to emerge into a recognizable, congealed image.

Perhaps if I share what I am referring to, I may make myself clearer.
I was shown one vision after another. Each seemed unrelated. Now I know for a certainty, that each vision was a repetition of the others...but each vision complimented the others, like the variety of facets to the same gem. Only when all the information from all the visions is combined into a whole, does the full "3-D" reality appear.

To illustrate,
When we write a sentence to fully describe a loaf of bread,
we can not fully do so in one word. Our first descriptive word may be "fresh", then "crusty", then "warm", then "nutty", then "aromatic". Each of those words seem unrelated to the others when viewed individually, until the full sentence joins them into one reality. The full description is not established, until we read and connectall the words.
In the same way, each word, can compare to each vision.

Each one of John's visions conveys different aspects of the same repeating series of subjects (events that "will soon take place" and identities that will emerge -Rev.1:1). One vision can not contain all the information about these events, identities, and how they emerge. Only by means of Holy Spirit, can these visions be interpreted, and assembled in order, within the minds of God's final prophets. This can only occur at the time in which God wills it to take place (Amos 3:7; Rev.10:7; Eze.29:21; Dan.9:22; Gen.40:8). Previous to that time, no one will "open the seals" of that scroll (Isa.29:11; Dan.12:4).
Although chapters 1-3 also contain symbolism; it is within these chapters that Jesus lays the groundwork of who and what the subsequent chapters are discussing. (Rev.10:11)

Remembering that this scroll is entirely symbolic, and the realities it "signifies" have been translated into vision; we must see beyond the images into the meaning being conveyed. That totally depends upon divine help.

For example,
when we are told that the 24 elders "say" something (realize, understand, determine, declare, herald),
or "sing" something (believe/love/feel/appreciate/value/praise, with all their heart);
we are being told of a spiritual requirement of faith that these have attained,
previous to their being granted the reward, which comes by fulfilling that requirement.
It does not literally mean that the 24 gather together at the same time and place to recite these words.

Remembering that Jesus has requirements for those who are "given much" (first be faithful with "least" -Matt.25:23; Luke 16:10); so too, the 24 elders must have a pleasing heart condition to God, previous to their being granted insight into God's mysteries (Matt.13:11; John 14:17; 16:13).
By stating that all 24 elders "declare" this in unison, it teaches us that all those who become this group, have met that requirement of attitude, devotion to righteousness, and a demonstrated faith, as expressed in the meaning behind the words they "declare".

THIS is the essential meaning....NOT the portrayal of a time-frame. Before and after scenarios in Revelation's prophecies are not literal timing, but can rather help us understand particular requirements and rewards...errors and consequences...the background justice behind divine decrees...what must occur before a desired goal is achieved ...according to divine justice.
If we follow our natural disposition, and apply physical meaning (time sequence, space, restrictive physical Laws) to the symbolic descriptions of Revelation, we will be blocked from understanding the spiritual meaning behind them. (1Cor.2:13,14)

If you can consider that the seals being opened, are a symbol for growing understanding and recognition within the mind of Christ (Matt.24:36; Dan.7:13; Rev.5:2,5,7; John 15:15; Rev.10:7; 11:3; 1:1),
 and subsequently, the minds of his prophets,
even about events that may have already existed before insight was given into the meaning of those events,
or,
growing recognition of many individual facets and how these belong to one situation...
or
a circumstance that results from a culmination of many contributory events (each described separately),
or
a list of events and deeds which justify God's judgments,
or
a list of divine requirements...
or a list of divine warnings...
or the gauntlet required to attain to spiritual maturity and sealing...

then you will have a better grasp on how to understand Revelation's many descriptions,
which speak of a spiritual progression of maturation resulting in judgment (either favorable or unfavorable) ...not of literal chronology.
[2Tim.3:13 (Rev.2:2; 3:9); 2Tim.2:16; Eph.5:15,16,17; Isa.43:19; Rev.22:11]

In order to see behind the written words of Rev.5:9, you may well ask yourself,
why is the "song" of the "24" "elders", "new"?

When they say,
"You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals",
who else might they be aware of, who had tried to take the scroll and open the seals, and are now considered by the 24, as unworthy?

When the 24 say,
"For You were slain", can you see this as possibly meaning that they now perceive the model before them, or that conquering Satan to the limit is required before being granted full understanding, or that they are owned only by one Master...the only one who paid for them with his blood (Eph.5:25)?
Do you recall 1Cor.1:12,13? What do the 24 finally realize, regarding loyalty to men, or their previous falling short and need for repentance and redemption? (1Cor.7:23; Gal.1:10)

When they say,
"And have redeemed us to God by Your blood",
what might these 24 realize?
If the Bride is to share with Christ, in the rest of Creation being redeemed;
what will also be required of it's members? (Rev.6:9; 20:4; 12:11; 11:7; Rom.6:5; Phil.3:10) (Rom.8:19; Prov.11:30; Ps.92:12,13,14; Rev.22:2,17)

To be "redeemed" "out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation" resonates with the prophecies as being gathered from the four winds, from one extremity of the earth to the other...the gathering of God's captive sons and daughters who were driven from their own land 
(Mark 13:27; Deut.30:4; Zech.2:6; 2Thess.2:1; Eze.11:17; Isa.63:18),
"From every nation" also confirms that this group are no longer chosen upon the basis of a physical or National identity (physical Jews). These become, rather, spiritual Jews (Rom.2:28,29; Rev.5:9-10).
"What is a 'Jew'? What is a 'Gentile'?"

When the "24" say
 "And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”...
this reflects the realization that they are not to be slaves of men, because Christ has chosen them to be otherwise. It also reflects the realization that the future is the time to rule within God's kingdom...which is NOT the same as the 1,000 year reign of Christ during which the faithful chosen are appointed over "a little" (1Cor.4:8; 1Cor.15:24,25,26,27,28; Matt.25:23; 13:12);
as well as dispelling the lie that the 144000 never return to earth.

All these realizations of the 24, are the previous requirements needed to allow the opening of the 7 seals to the "24" elders. They must first realize that their spiritual food comes from Christ alone...as he shares with them the scroll/insight he has received from his Father. 
When Christ sends that spirit to his final prophets (Rev.11:3; John15:15; 16:13; Rev.22:6; Rom.16:25,26), it is a parallel to the Master's/bridegroom's arrival (Matt.25:6; Mark 13:35; Luke 12:37) (Rev.2:28; 22:16; 2Pet.1:19; 1Cor.14:15 (Rev.5:9,10); Dan.12:1; Acts 3:20) and his sharing the feast his Father has prepared for him and his bride / 5 faithful virgins. 
"Good as well as bad" will be invited to this feast (Matt.22:8,9-10; Rev.19:9; 1Cor.13:9-10; Matt.17:11).

So you see, it is not necessarily that the 24 elders literally chant these exact words at the same time, while Jesus stands by waiting for them to finish before he can open/understand and unveil the interpretation of Revelation's symbolism.
It may also help to remember, that the order in which John sees these visions, is not reflecting the order in which they occur. This I am sure of, due to my own vision experience.

Just as Jesus gave a variety of illustrations, all repeatedly describing aspects of the same theme (the "kingdom of the heavens will become like")...
(and those illustrations will not be chronologically fulfilled in the order in which these illustrations were spoken by him),
so too,
the visions of Revelation are a description of an extremely complex circumstance...dissected into manageable individual images that need to merge in our perception, outside the constraints of literal time and space.

A "seal" is simply a hidden understanding, previous to it being "opened up".
As these symbolic seals are opened, it is a symbol of a progression of understandings, within the minds and hearts of those chosen to understand (Luke 24:32; Isa.42:16).
Because the faithful who do gain understanding, then preach it;
those seals open for the world,
but only those gathered to those preaching that understanding,
will find it. (Luke 17:35; Luke 17:37NKJV; Luke 17:24,30; 10:16; Dan.12:3,2,10; Matt.7:14)

All these principles and possibilities also apply to Rev.6:9; which verse guides the perception and priorities of the remnant in the time of the end. All faithful anointed arrive at the place described at Rev.6:9,10,11, regardless of what years they lived and died. Those verses are a call to those not yet killed for truth...to wake up, and accept the trials of Christ (Luke22:28,29), including the baptism into his death (Rom.6:3; Matt.20:22,23; Rev.6:10,11) (Matt.25:6; Heb.13:13).

Simply put...even the concept of timing in the scroll of Revelation, is symbolic.
I will tell you that I have begun a book which examines each verse of the entire scroll of Revelation. I hope to finish it as soon as I possibly can, and perhaps you will find that work helpful regarding your Revelation questions. I will give it my very best, and have others edit it for clarity, related relevance, and brevity (all of which I struggle with). Please pray that the Father continue to bless this effort.

What is the worst sin the Watchtower has done?

This is a question someone recently asked.
What follows are some scriptural thoughts.

We are all familiar with the greatest sin, as described by Jesus himself. But if we read all the cross references to this discourse, those contexts add many details which clarify how (and in what situation) one commits the unforgivable sin.
It first helps to view the circumstance, when Jesus decided to mention this sin.
First, at Matt.12:31,32; Jesus describes this sin as "speaking" "against the Holy Spirit". What sort of speech, is demonstrated in Matt.12:22,24?...

"Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw.
Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

By what means did Jesus perform this deed? By means of Holy Spirit! What "speaking" against that, did the religious leaders commit?
They attributed the work of Holy Spirit within Christ, as demonic (John 8:48).
Jesus continues at Matt.12:31-33...
 “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come. “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit."

Jesus added here, that it is NOT the sin/blasphemy against the human vessels in which Holy Spirit dwells (1Cor.6:19; John 14:17; Matt.10:20; Rom.8:11;  1Cor.3:16); (although this "grieves" spirit)
but rather,
it is the failure to acknowledge that Holy Spirit is genuinely within them,
and to instead, attribute the spirit within them to the evil one.
This was what the religious leaders did with Christ (Matt.12:24)...And they spoke publicly about that charge.
And then in the very next verse,
Jesus adds that we recognize trees by their fruit (Luke 6:45; Matt.12:33). What does this have to do with sinning against Holy Spirit?

(Luke 12:1; Mark 8:15; Matt.5:20; 7:21,22,23; 23:27,28,37,33,34,35; Rev.18:24,20; Matt.23:29-31)

Jesus is saying that when there are two religious sides, each accusing the other of having an evil spirit (John 8:44,48)...
that we will be able to discern the false prophets from the true (John 7:17;  1Cor.11:19),
those who genuinely possess Holy Spirit from those who don't,
by their "fruit" (Luke 6:43,45; Matt.13:52; 12:36-37).

This tool to identify the true from the false prophets, is repeated at Matt.7:15,20
However, Jesus is also teaching us, that the false prophets who publicly slander the spirit which leads the genuine, are committing an unforgivable sin. They "blaspheme"/speak against, God's Holy Spirit at work.

Now if we look further to the additions the other writers afford us, this understanding widens.
Sure enough, at Mark 3:28-30, we are told clearly what this sin is...
 “Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; 29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation”— 30 because they said,He has an unclean spirit.”

If we move on to Luke 12:10,11,12;
we can now apply that definition of this sin
     (attributing the Holy Spirit within one of it's vessels, to that vessel having an evil spirit),
to recognizing how this context can be committed long after Christ ("in the age to come" -Matt.12:32 C)....

 “And anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven. 11 “Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities (judicial committees), do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. 12 For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”

In this account, Jesus links together this sin, not only to the miracles which HE performed, but also to the witness the genuine give when brought to trial (John 16:2; Matt.10:25; John 15:20). He links this sin to the vessels who genuinely possess Holy Spirit...the words they speak coming from Holy Spirit...and those words falling upon ears that are judging God's genuine vessels. (Luke 12:11,12)
After these faithful speak from God's spirit (Matt.10:20)....
What will the verdict of these religious judges be?
Will they acknowledge that these ones being judged are genuine vessels of the Most High God, possess God's Holy Spirit, and that their words are inspired expressions of scriptural Truth?
Or,
will they condemn and publicly brand ("speak" against) the spirit within these brothers of Christ, by
calling them "human apostates" working "with Satan" in Satan's kitchen of lies?

If one considers how those currently being publicly judged and expelled,
 are viewed for their faithfulness to God...would you describe the accusations as attributing a demonic spirit to these faithful?
Are those accusations being "spoken" publicly?

You see, sinning against the Holy Spirit is alive and well this very day.
Faithful anointed (and others) are waking up to this Organizational idolatry, repenting, and taking their spirit-inspired stand for truth all over the world.
How are these labeled by the Organization?
Is it not how Jesus himself was labeled in the moment he gave us these words?
"because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.” (Mark 3:30; Matt.10:25)

By the fact that Jesus himself said that this is the worst sin,
and that the WT is currently practicing it
each and every time someone is disfellowshipped for voicing their scriptural stand,
and for their loyalty to the God of Truth...
             (rather than to the wicked steward and his Gentile Beast representatives),
...and that person is publicly labeled as having an unclean, lethal, wicked spirit, (and so, must be avoided at all cost),
that  sin  is  committed.

There is one more thing I myself learned from all these scriptures...
Jesus said,
And anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven." Luke 12:10

What wise and considerate foresight, for Jesus to make plain to us, that it is not sinning against the individual vessel that is unforgivable.
But how might this information be of use today?

When we are judged and expelled today, is it not because we have "sinned against" "the 'faithful and discreet slave'"?
I know from personal experience as well as the many reports I have heard of the experiences of others,
that despite weighty scriptural backing for every assertion the anointed defendant makes,
it is made clear to them by their accusers,
that the basis for their expulsion, is exclusively, a lack of harmony and subjection to the GB.
After their condemnation, the defendant is thereafter considered spiritually dead, as if  they have sinned against Holy Spirit, when they have simply rejected the false doctrines of men, as the scriptures advise us to (2Tim.3:5;  1John 4:1; Mark 7:7;  2Cor.11:3,20,4; Rev.2:20)(Rev.2:2).

There are therefore (so far), two counts of this sin...

Declaring Holy Spirit within it's chosen vessels, as demonic, and
raising men above Christ, and equal to Holy Spirit.
  ...For, if  it  is  forgivable  to sin against/blaspheme Christ, (Matt.12:32 A)
but not forgivable to sin against/blaspheme the GB,
then they sin against God's spirit by claiming equality with it.
(Isa.46:5; 40:18,25; Rev.13:15,8,4)

But there is a third sin against the Holy Spirit which the GB is guilty of!
Not only do they claim that the spirit-sanctified members of the temple of God contain Satanic spirit...
They claim that God's Holy Spirit dwells in the unclean, common, unconsecrated, and un-sanctified.
We read at Rev.13:15,12,14...
15 He (the false prophet) was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 12 And he (false prophet) exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived."

Without going into every detail of meaning here, we see that the false prophet (GB) incites and convinces people to worship the image of the Wild Beast (image of Org. as spirit appointed). How does he convince people to commit this idolatry? Rev.13:15 said that the false prophet gives "breath" (spirit) into the image, enabling that image to have divine-like appearance, power, and a stature... deserving of what constitutes worship (unquestioning obedience, praise, honor, service).

This "breath" (John 20:22), is counterfeit Holy Spirit (Rev.13:15).
This is spiritual fraud of the most blasphemous kind! (Rev.13:6)

The source of the Wild Beast's spirit appointment, is not from God at all, but just as Revelation exposes...the false prophet's misleading deceptions are the only source of the Wild Beast's seeming divinity.
The unclean Wild Beast is not endorsed or inspired by God in Heaven...
  it is endorsed only by the false prophet who is using it
(Rev.13:12 A; Rev.19:20; Dan.8:11,24,25; 11:31).

How blasphemous to impersonate God's Holy Spirit, and lie about it's endorsement! To teach that God's HOLY Spirit is embodied within this counterfeit Temple of God (composed of counterfeit Gentile priests -Eze.44:6,7,8,9; Mark 13:14), is most certainly to sin against that spirit.

The Organization says that elders (who represent the Image of the Org.) are appointed by Holy Spirit )
Are your local elders part of the anointed Temple of God? (1Cor.3:16;  1Pet.2:5; Eph.2:20,21,22)
Are all elders spirit appointed? (link: "Are Elders spirit-appointed?")
Who really are those "appointed as overseers"? (Acts 20:28)
1Pet.5:1-4 reads:
"To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: (Rom.8:19) 2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away." (Deut.15:10; Isa.65:22; Rom.8:18,19) (See Rev.6:2; 3:11,21)
If we allow all these scriptures to impact our understanding of who the shepherds of God's flock are; they are the Chosen Ones.

Each and every living stone inducted into the anointed Temple of God, must undergo grievous tribulation and refinement to be cleansed, previous to their seal 
(Mal.3:3;  1Pet.5:10; Heb.12:5,6,7,8,9,10,11; Prov.3:11,12;  1Cor.11:32; Rev.3:19).
Not so the spiritual Gentile Elders comprising the Wild Beast. These counterfeit priests only need comply with Organizational arrangements, expectations, standards, and suggestions. The claim that these are only chosen based upon 1Tim.3 is just not the whole truth.
The greatest requirement for priestly service is "spiritual qualifications" (Gal.6:1), which is not referring to the list at 1Tim.3 as the WT professes. The original words for "spirit qualifications" is literally "those who are lead by spirit/walk by spirit/live by spirit", and these are defined at Rom.8:14 (Rom.8:16,17) as those who will reign with Christ.

"Elders" have been empowered to trample and expel God's genuine chosen priests with impunity...for now.
In the meantime,
to erect and empower a counterfeit Temple priesthood, claim it is filled with Holy Spirit and appointed by God, and then demand that all worship it's Image, is a third sin against Holy Spirit.

In conclusion, the worst sin the WT has done, is the same worst sin according to Christ.
They
1. attribute the work of the faithful to Satanic spirit
2. condemn and punish those who reject men's lying doctrines,
    as if they rejected Holy Spirit.
3. mislead millions to believe that they have license to pour
    God's spirit into an Idol made of those God has not chosen,
    and then to place that counterfeit Temple of abomination
    above the true Temple of God (2Thess.2:4; Rev.13:6), where it can desolate
    and trample underfoot, any genuine priest who refuses to worship it.
