Revelation chapter seven; verses nine - ten

Some scriptural thoughts on Revelation chapter 7, verses 9,10:


Rev.7:
9 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number 
    (Mal.3:2-3; Matt.24:45; 22:14; 7:21; Luke 17:33-34,35-36,37; 13:24; Dan.11:35; Rom.8:27;  1Sam.16:7), from every nation 
    (Acts 10:35; Rom.2:14-15; Heb.10:16) (Rev.5:9-10), 
from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing

Who "renders sacred service, day and night" in God's Temple?

I received a comment about my published teachings on the "Great Crowd" of Rev.7:9.
It expressed a disbelief in the idea, that the Great Crowd are anointed ones.
and that the Greek word for "tent"/"dwell among them" at Rev.7:15 c, is the same Greek word for "tent"/"tabernacle" in Rev.21:3.
My objections are:
While English only has the word "tent"....these two places have two different Greek words.
One is a noun (thing), and the other is a verb (action).
There is a "tent", and there is the act of "tenting".
Knowing how these two words are applied in these two verses, are crucial, if we are to understand
the true identity of the Great Crowd.

Here was my partial reply:

Actually, I never said that the Great Crowd is the same group as the "numbered" 144000.
I said that no one can number those anointed who come through the "Great Tribulation"....the remnant of Chosen who become sealed. (Rev.7:14)

Rev.7:15 states that these are "rendering sacred service day and night in his temple".
The only ones permitted by God to do that, are the anointed, consecrated priests. 
(1Chron.23:30,32; Numbers 18:7;  1Chron.9:33;  2Chron.23:6)

1Pet.2:5...
"you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable  to God through Jesus Christ."
(2Chron.23:6-7; 13:10-11; Rev.22:3-4,5; Mal.3:3)(Heb.8:1-2; 9:11;  1Cor.3:9)

Having anyone else in the Temple (or anyone performing priestly duties), is precisely what the scriptures call "a disgusting thing standing in a holy place". (2Chron.13:9; Eze.44:6-7,8-9;  1Cor.3:17).
(anointed priests have been circumcised in heart, so that they may enter the Temple and serve God acceptably--- Rom.2:29)
Anyone who "renders sacred service" in the Temple, must be a priest , in order for it to be "acceptable".
All others are condemned to death.

The Greek at Rev.7:15 c does not say that the "tent will be spread over them" (bad translation!).
It says that "God " Himself "will tent upon them". [See CJB or WYC translation]
The Greek word for this "tent", means to "tabernacle with"...to "dwell among"
                    [this is the same word used in John 1:14 to describe Jesus "dwelling among" mankind.
                    This is why he was to be named "Immanuel" ("with us is God") to describe God's spirit
                    with Christ and he being God's representative. God's "tent" was not over Jesus
                    ....but God's spirit was in him....they were one (John 17:21,23). Also, Jesus was not 
                    "spread over" mankind... He was "with" them....dwelling among them
                     ...as God's spirit dwells in His anointed Temple. Eph.2:22;  1Cor.3:16]
...just as the pillar of smoke and fire was with the Tabernacle in Israel,
during the time they also spent... in the wilderness ...just as the remnant are now (Rev.12:6,14).

God is with  the Great Crowd (see Rev.21:22; 22:3). The sealed priests who complete the full number, are part of God's completed divine habitation,
even while still on earth. (Rev.11:4).
This is not the same as Rev.21:3 a ....which does literally say that the "tent of The God is with men". If you check there, you will see the word for "tent" (noun) is a different word entirely, from "to tabernacle with"/"tent upon"/"dwell among" (verb) in Rev.7:15.

Can you see all this in the scriptures above?
Please take each point, one at a time, with the scriptures that accompany the points,
and look at the Greek if you need to.

If you look at the Greek, you will be able to see that the English word "tent" (in Rev.7:15),
is not the word in Rev.21:3 ...which describes God's action toward  the Great Crowd.
Rev.7:15 describes God's presence with his priests (reside among them) (Tent:VERB/ACTION).
                                                    God's spirit is indwelling among the 144,000.
Rev.21:3 describes the priests (Temple/Tent) as being with mankind (Tent:NOUN/THING). In this
                                                    context, God will be present in the earth, through his anointed
                                                    Temple/Priesthood/Holy City....just as He was present
                                                    through Christ ("Immanuel"/"with us is God" Matt.1:23; Col.2:9).
To provide a physical comparison as an explanation regarding the difference between the two Greek words,
You can either eat food so that the food is within you, is nourishing you, and becomes a part of you 
as you absorb it and are nourished (verb) (God's spirit within the tent),
OR, you can set the food on the table (noun), and have the nourishment present before you 
and within reach. (God's tent with mankind).
In actuality, God's spirit is in His Temple of living stones 
(1Cor.3:16;  1Pet.2:5; <Rom.8:2,9,11;  1Cor.6:19), 
    and that Temple is within reach of mankind, through those priests present in the earth.

PS: It is also significant that the Great Crowd are "dressed in white robes" (Rev.7:14).
This is only granted to the Bride of Christ (Rev.19:8)...
those sealed through their martyrdom (Rev.6:11)(Rom.6:5).

Organized Religion


Regarding Organized religions...their operations, buildings, and heirarchy;

God who made the world and all that is in it, being Lord of both Heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by human hands, nor is He ministered to by human hands, as though He had need of anything - seeing that He is the One who gives to all men life and breath and everything else.
(Acts 17:24-25).

It is one of our natural, human desires to want to do something for those we love, and this obviously includes doing things for God; we desire to please Him with whatever we can do for Him. This was clearly demonstrated by Peter when he saw Jesus revealed (Matthew 17:1-2,3-4). Peter's natural response upon seeing Jesus, Moses and Elijah was the desire to do something: to construct and build something for all three men. He said: "Lord, it is good for us to be here; let us make three shelters (or tabernacles) one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah". This was his natural, human reaction without even needing to think about it!

So many of us today do exactly the same thing as Peter with those we perceive to be spiritual men and women - and without thinking about it. We delight in them, they are awe-inspiring, they are our heroes. We love to listen to them and while we may not physically build a tabernacle or temple for them, in our hearts we may effectively do so without realizing it, and end up worshiping them instead of Yhvh *and His Son (*see footnote). Moses and Elijah were great men of God, but God's response to this suggestion of building something was, and still is: "THIS is My dearly loved Son, who brings Me great joy; listen to HIM!" (Matt.17:4-5).

When God breaks our mindsets and opens our eyes to see and hear His Son, our response is the same as that of the disciples: "When the disciples heard the voice, they were so afraid that they fell flat on the ground. But Jesus came over and touched them. He said, "Get up and don't be afraid!" (Matt.17:6-7,8) When they opened their eyes, they saw only Jesus."
Through what they saw, and in hearing God's admonition to listen to Him, and even in spite of their fear, the end result was that "they saw only Jesus".
When the Chosen Ones experience seeing and knowing Jesus Christ in an earth-shattering, revealing way, no longer will we idolize the earthly, because we will have eyes for One only. No longer will we see churches, Halls, and temples as being something good for God and "good for us" but quite the opposite, for we will see God's intention and that He has only One in view: "I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Omnipotent and the Lamb Himself are its temple" (Rev. 21:22). This Temple (Christ) is not a physical building that we can see or go to, nor can He be constructed by us - it is ludicrous and presumptuous to think that we could do so! But that physical inclination in itself can present a challenge, stumbling block, and even provoke us to take offense at God's way.

The Temple - Made with Hands

Oh how we do love to do things and make things which we (and of course others) can see, hear and touch on this earth!
As Stephen said in his speech:
Our ancestors carried the Tabernacle with them through the wilderness. It was constructed according to the plan God had shown to Moses. Years later, when Joshua led our ancestors in battle against the nations that God drove out of this land, the Tabernacle was taken with them into their new territory. And it stayed there until the time of King David. David found favor with God and asked for the privilege of building a permanent Temple for the God of Jacob. But it was Solomon who actually built it. However, the Most High doesn’t live in temples made by human hands. As the prophet says, ‘Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Could you build Me a temple as good as that?’ asks the Lord. ‘Could you build Me such a resting place? Didn’t My hands make both heaven and earth?’ You stubborn people! You are heathen at heart and deaf to the truth. Must you forever resist the Holy Spirit? That’s what your ancestors did, and so do you!" (Acts 7:44-51).

What was Stephen referring to that was 'heathen' and resisting the Holy Spirit? In the context of what he'd just been speaking about it seems to speak of one thing that all religions had in his day and still have today: temples. Or, in Christian terms: churches and Halls. The temple was a very sacred thing to the Jews (just as the Kingdom Hall is to many "Witnesses") and the significance of what Stephen said was not lost on the Jews. They were very angry with him for saying that God didn't need or want their "sacred" buildings and promptly killed him; thinking they were doing God a favor. And that is what is still often done today because the truth that God doesn't need or want these structures that we build, hits right at the very heart of idolatry.

But wasn't the temple God's idea in the first place?  
No, it was the tabernacle that God asked Moses to make, and the tabernacle was a tent and not a building. The tabernacle was in use right up until the time of King David and then it disappeared... David thought he had a better idea: a permanent building, a temple like other religions had. If you read the passage above again, you will see that it was David who asked to build the temple, and not God who asked for it. This fact is made even clearer in the Old Testament accounts, one given in 2 Samuel 7, the other in 1 Chronicles 17 (from the NKJV):

Now it came to pass, when David was dwelling in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, “See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of the Lord is under tent curtains.”

I had never realized until reading that verse that building the temple, was David's idea. God didn't ask David to build the temple, nor did He want him to (which He clearly tells David shortly thereafter). Apparently it didn't seem fair to David - from his earthly, human perspective - that he lived in a beautiful palace while the ark of the Lord was in a tent. That, of course, sounds very noble and good to us humans, and when he told the prophet Nathan about his idea, Nathan's response to David was:

Then Nathan said to David, “Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you.” (1Chron. 17:2)

One question needs to be asked here: had God been consulted? Had He said anything to either Nathan or David about a temple up to this point? Apparently Nathan thought the idea of building a temple sounded like a good idea too, so it appears that he presumptuously endorsed it on God's behalf although the following verses make it clear that he hadn't yet asked God what HE thought about the idea. Just because God is with us and has blessed us, doesn't mean we can go and "do all that is in your heart" - not even for the man who was said to be a man after God's own heart. And just because we see something that we think God needs us to do for Him, doesn't mean He needs or wants us to do it.

That very night God came to Nathan with a strong message:

"But it happened that night that the word of God came to Nathan, saying, “Go and tell My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord: “You shall not build Me a house to dwell in. For I have not dwelt in a house since the time that I brought up Israel, even to this day, but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another. Wherever I have moved about with all Israel, have I ever spoken a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?' Now therefore, thus shall you say to My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people Israel. And I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have cut off all your enemies from before you, and have made you a name like the name of the great men who are on the earth. Moreover I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more; nor shall the sons of wickedness oppress them anymore, as previously, since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel. Also I will subdue all your enemies. Furthermore I tell you that the Lord will build you a house. And it shall be, when your days are fulfilled, when you must go to be with your fathers, that I will set up your seed after you, who will be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever. I will be his Father, and he shall be My son; and I will not take My mercy away from him, as I took it from him who was before you. And I will establish him in My house and in My kingdom forever; and his throne shall be established forever.” ’ ”According to all these words and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David." 
(1Chron. 17:3-15)
[This prophetically speaks of Jesus (Heb.1:5,8)....and was not totally fulfilled in Solomon (Matt.12:42)...who in the end of his life, proved unfaithful (1Kings 11:1-11). The eternal Temple/House, that Jesus was to build, was his chosen priesthood (1Cor. 3:9,16-17; Eph.2:20-21,22; John 2:21;  1Cor. 12:27;  1Pet. 2:5,9;  1Cor. 6:19-20).]

So God said the opposite of what Nathan had told David on His behalf; instead of God telling David to "do all that is in your heart" He told him through Nathan that he was NOT to build a temple. The tabernacle or tent is significant here because it was a temporary dwelling, entirely adjustable, and would move on easily. Whenever the pillar of fire moved in the wilderness, the tents were packed up and the people moved with God leading them on. 
But you cannot move a temple building; it is firmly attached to the earth. It is earthly. A temple's foundations are fixed on this earth and not in the heavens. God did not want to be stationary, He is a God Who moves. He resides in the hearts of the faithful, and when they die, he can move to His next prophet/judge/king/high priest. This is the point he made to David, in 1Chron. 17:5,7,11 above. God does not dwell in earthly temples of stone, but in faithful hearts. This is the proper place to worship God (John 4:21,23-24;  1Cor. 3:16; 6:19).
God went on to say,

"say to My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people Israel. And I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have cut off all your enemies from before you, and have made you a name like the name of the great men who are on the earth. Moreover I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more; nor shall the sons of wickedness oppress them anymore, as previously, since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel. Also I will subdue all your enemies." (Psalm 110:1;  1Cor. 15:25; Rom.16:20)

It sounds as though God was reminding David WHO was in charge and that He was quite capable of asking David or anyone else to build Him a temple if that had been what He had wanted. God was satisfied with the tabernacle/tent which God Himself designed (Heb.8:5), even though man might despise it for being so flexible and unpredictable (John 3:8).
He continued,

"Furthermore I tell you that the LORD will build you a house."

God's House - Made Without  Hands:

David appeared to have had things around the wrong way; instead of him building a house for God, God wanted to build him a house. (Heb.8:1-2; 9:11) 
But was this promise to David fulfilled, did God build David a house? No, not on this earth, and not in David's lifetime. We can now see that this promise was fulfilled in Christ, and that God was speaking of Him:
"Destroy this temple," Jesus answered, "and in three days I will build it again!" ...But Jesus was talking about His body as the temple. (John 2:19-21). And God had something far greater than Solomon's temple in mind: Christ, "Something greater and more majestic than the temple is here!" (Matt. 12:6). God's message for David continued along these same spiritual lines:

"And it shall be, when your days are fulfilled, when you must go to be with your fathers, that I will set up your Seed after you, who will be of your sons; and I will establish His kingdom. He shall build Me a house, and I will establish His throne forever. I will be His Father, and He shall be My Son; and I will not take My mercy away from Him, as I took it from him who was before you. And I will establish Him in My house and in My kingdom forever; and His throne shall be established forever.”

Was this literally fulfilled? No, even though David thought God's words were about his son Solomon and it was partially fulfilled through Solomon. However, Solomon's throne was not established forever on this earth. The temple that Solomon built lasted in all its glory for a mere 34 years before being ravaged and spoiled, beginning a cycle of restoring the temple only to have it ravaged again and again, until it was eventually destroyed. God in His grace did inhabit that structure for a short time, but when He inevitably moved on, the temple could not move with Him and it was left behind; an empty shell for man to maintain. (Matt.23:37-38; 27:50-51) They would continue to hold their meetings and perform their rituals in it, but they would not meet God there, they would meet only each other (Hosea 5:6; Eze.14:3; John 9:31; Isa.59:2).

The temple had replaced the tabernacle, but Solomon's temple was to be replaced with a new Temple, which Ezekiel saw very clearly (Eze.ch.40-ch.48). This House is God's creation and God's Way: Christ the cornerstone, the 12 foundation stones, and the 144,000 living stones of Christ's Priesthood (Eph.2:20-21,22;  1Pet. 2:5).
"When God speaks of a “new” covenant, it means He has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear..."  (Heb.8:13)
By these regulations the Holy Spirit revealed that the entrance to the Most Holy Place was not freely open as long as the Tabernacle and the system it represented were still in use. This is an illustration pointing to the present time... For that old system deals only with... physical regulations that were in effect only until the time of reformation and setting things straight."  (Heb. 8:13, 9:8-9,10).

Jesus said
"Destroy this temple, and in three days I will build it again," meaning his own body (1Cor. 12:27; 3:16). But this was extremely offensive to those whose lives revolved around a physical building, just as it is offensive today to those whose lives revolve around the Organization and it's Kingdom Halls, because so much of this "temple mentality" continues today... AS IF God is inhabiting it and is pleased with it.

The tabernacle (and the Sanctuary of the temple) were simply a picture of what was to come. They were symbolic of Christ and his Chosen Ones, when sealed in Heaven (Rev.12:5; Eph.2:6; Gal.4:26; Col.2:17; Heb.8:5; Rev.14:1).

The outer courts of the temple were a busy and noisy place where animals were tethered, slaughtered and sacrificed on the altar. But the Sanctuary consisted of the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies. The Holy Place had very little activity compared with the outer courts; it was where the lampstand, the table of showbread and the altar of incense (all symbolic of Christ and his priesthood) were kept. The Holy of Holies was only entered into once a year and the priest did very little in it - a big contrast to the daily, busy activity of the outer courts of the temple.
John used two different words for "temple" in John chapter 2. The first two instances of the word "temple"  is hieron  and means the whole of the temple including its outer courts. But the word which is used three times at the end of the chapter (including the one Jesus used in reference to his "body") is a different word - "naos" - which means ONLY the Sanctuary itself, consisting of the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies. This area was reserved for the Priesthood. No others were permitted entrance. Under the NEW Covenant, only the sealed anointed priests become this part of the spiritual Temple.
Those unsealed remain outside the Naos, which is the area that was prophesied to be trespassed by the ruling Gentiles (Rev.11:2; Matt.24:15;  2Chron. 23:6; 13:9; Eze.44:6-7,8-9; Rev.13:7; 9:4).

Matthew and Mark confirm this as they used exactly the same words for what Jesus had said. All other writers in the New Testament also used this word "naos" in reference to the Body of Christ instead of "hieron" (Acts 7:48; 17:24;  1Cor. 3:16-17; 6:19;  2Cor. 6:16; Eph.2:21; Rev.3:12; 7:13,15; 21:22 to name a few). It is significant that our English word "hierarchy" is derived from the root of the word "hieron" meaning outer temple.

The secular Greek definition of this word "naos" or sanctuary, was "inmost part of a temple, containing the image of The God" and interestingly, "a portable shrine" - reminiscent of the tabernacle or tent of the Lord (Rev.21:3,2). This word is also used of anointed, as the 'temples' of the Holy Spirit in 1Cor. 3:16. There are no instances of the word "hieron" (the temple) being used in reference to Christ or His Body of Priests (1Pet. 2:9) in the New Testament at all. Instead the word meaning a "sanctuary" or "holy place" is used, but our English translations don't differentiate between the two!

In fact, there is only One chief Cornerstone, who fully satisfies God. And we share in God's pleasure and delight in His Son when we are in Him - when we are living stones being built into this House, which is the "Body" of Christ (Gal.3:29). These are the ones his blood justifies (Rev.5:9-10; 7:14 c).

As I said, it is one of our natural, human desires to want to do something for those whom we love, and this obviously includes doing things for God; we desire to please Him with what we do and with whatever we can make for Him. But what men make on earth, fades. Only what God makes, lasts. That is a very important distinction. (Psalm 127:1; Matt.6:20; Dan.2:44;  1Cor. 15:24; Luke 10:19; Rev.16:20; Dan.7:22). Only what men do, according to God's will, is stored in heaven. The rest is a "commerce" of futility (1John 2:17; Matt.6:20; John 6:27; Isa.55:2; Rev13:17).
If we unconsciously transfer what we intend to do for God, into doing it for a visible Organization; we have succumbed to the idolatry foretold in prophecy (Rev.13:16,8; Rom.1:25), and have "stored our treasures" on earth (Matt.6:19; Isa.50:9; Job 13:28; James 5:3; Eze.24:6,11-12,13; Luke 12:39).

Kings and Kingdoms

I think it is beyond refute that it was never God's intention for us to have buildings or temples on this earth in which to worship Him like the religions of this world who have temples for their gods. Most of us are aware of the fact that the Israelites having a king was not God's idea either (1Sam. 8:4-5,6-7). Their reason for wanting a king was so that they would "be like all the other nations" and have a king who would lead them and defend them (1Sam. 8:19-20).
Early Christians gathered in homes and at "love feasts". These groups met in the homes of their fellow local members (Rom.16:3,5;  1Cor. 1:11; 16:19; Col.4:15; Phm.1:2). You may notice that in the original Greek of Acts 20:20 it literally reads, "according to private houses". You will note that this verse does not say "door to door".

 Although the Organization interprets this as meaning a public door-to-door witnessing to strangers, the context of Acts 20:20 (as well as the scriptures I already gave you) proves otherwise. Those whom Paul is speaking to (about teaching them "house to house"), are the same ones he is speaking to in Acts 20:18-19,20,28,34,36-37,38 and are those whom Paul knew well.
The "houses" where Paul went to teach, were Christian meeting places...Congregations...not the doorsteps of the public. They did not have church buildings or "Kingdom Halls" in the first Century. Congregations met in private homes.

For those who were not yet associated with one of these groups, they could choose to listen when Paul and others taught "publicly" in market places, synagogues, etc.
OR
others would be directed to the "Living Stones" of the Holy Priesthood/God's Temple (Eph.2:20-21,22;  1Pet. 2:5,9) directly by Holy Spirit (Acts 10:47-48) or the anointed would be sent by spirit to those of complete heart (2Chron. 16:9; Acts 8:26,29; Acts 9:6,10-11).

To get back to having an Organization replete with official buildings and holdings, and the Leadership that inevitably presides above it....
God warned the Israelites that the result of their demanding a king would be that they would be in bondage and subjection to their king, and that he would use and abuse them (Rev.13:12,14-15,16-17,8,7,4).

God told Samuel to say to the people,
"If you have a king, this is how he will treat you. He will force your sons to join his army. Some of them will ride in his chariots, some will serve in the cavalry, and others will run ahead of his own chariot. Some of them will be officers in charge of a thousand soldiers, and others will be in charge of fifty. Still others will have to farm the king's land and harvest his crops, or make weapons and parts for his chariots. Your daughters will have to make perfume or do his cooking and baking. The king will take your best fields, as well as your vineyards, and olive orchards and give them to his own officials. He will also take a tenth of your grain and grapes and give it to his officers and officials (the tithe).  The king will take your slaves and your best young men and your donkeys and make them do his work. He will also take a tenth of your sheep and goats. You will become the king's slaves." (1Sam. 8:9-17; Isa.28:10).

All of this is so clearly evident in Satan's religious systems today (1Cor.11:3-4,13-14,15)... where there is loyalty to the system, to the buildings, to the meetings and to the religious leaders... instead of loyalty to Yhvh God (Rom.1:25).
God took this desire of the people to have a king of flesh, very personally. He viewed the people as rejecting Him as their King (1Sam. 8:7). In the interests of His own people; He preferred to be their only King... just as He wants the True Tent to be our only Meeting Place (John 4:21,23-24; Heb.8:1-2).

Today the majority of Christians are no different than the Israelites who wanted a temple and a king, just as Stephen said in his speech. We have built "temples" and we have wanted "kings" to look up to and to tell us what to do and what not to do, what to read and what not to read, what to believe and what not to believe, where to go and where not to go, what to wear and not to wear  - the list is endless (Isa.28:10; Matt.23:23-24; Rev.13:17). 
The result of all these kings and temples, are countless religious kingdoms which are sustained by man and not God, and which abuse and exploit people (Ec.8:9; Jer.10:23;  1Cor. 4:6; Mark 10:42-43).

Jesus gave us the example of true leadership by being a servant, and running away when the people wanted to make Him their King (John 6:15; Matt.4:8-9,10). The Kingdom of God is NOT of this world: "My kingdom," said Jesus, "doesn't consist of what you see around you. If it did, My followers would fight so that I wouldn't be handed over to the Jews. But I'm not that kind of king, not the world's kind of king." (John 18:36;  1Cor. 15:50; Heb.13:14; 11:10).

We each need to honestly answer the question: "Who is king in my life?" A kingdom is a place where the king governs and decides everything.
Rather than understand that God's reign should be in our obedient heart where God's laws should be written (Heb.10:16; Luke 17:21NKJV)..... God's Kingdom was understood to be in a Hall, and in the organization that authorized it.
"Kingdom Halls" reveal our inherent desire to do something for God (Matt.7:22), as well as the desire for religious leaders to tell us what to do and how to do it.. revealing our inherent desire to have a king here on earth to govern us. 


But a king, a temple, a church, or a kingdom hall, are focusing upon what is seen here on earth rather than spiritually perceiving what is unseen (2Cor. 4:18; Rev.13:4). They are substitutes for the Real and the True and we often idolize them - allowing them to become the center of our lives, instead of Christ and his genuine Temple members (1Pet.2:5). Whatever we obey and serve, we idolize. Whatever we idolize, we worship (Rom.6:16; Col.3:24). This effectively blinds us from seeing Truth because our eyes are on the approval of our idol, so we can see nothing past that (2Thess. 2:4,9-10,11; Rev.13:8,4). We need to be shaken out of our idolatry by hearing God's words deep in our hearts: "THIS is My dearly loved Son, who brings Me great joy; listen to HIM!" 
May God continue to shatter our idols and open our eyes so that we will see and obey, only Jesus (Matt.7:24-25; Matt.28:19-20). His true ambassadors, are no part of this world...nor it's hierarchy, riches, or dominion (2Cor. 5:20; John 17:16; Mark 10:42-43;  Matt.23:8,12;  1John 2:15-16,17;  1Cor. 4:8,7;  2Thess. 2:4,3).

"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands." (Acts 17:24)

If by Matt.6:10, you believe that Jesus is not to receive any worship,
but only Yhvh is, ...then I understand your question.

Jesus is his Father's representative. By this statement of mine,
I highlight men's inclination to follow and obey what they can see (Rev.13:8).
This improper worship was prophesied for our time. The leadership and authority given to
and taken by the "man of lawlessness" [who rules over the Chosen ones (2Thess. 2:4;  1Cor. 3:16; Eph.2:22)],
replaces the worship and subjection which is due Christ,
as the Head of his wife/body/Congregation. [(Phil.2:10; Rom.14:8-9,11 (John 5:22)]

Regarding those we should worship......
Rev.5:12-13,14; Heb.1:6; Matt.28:9,17; John 9:38; 5:23
NOTE:
The Greek word for worship that is used in all the above verses is proskuneo. Obviously, the NKJV chose to translate this word as worship. The New World Translation (NWT), however, chose to translate this word as obeisance (honor, respect) in all the above verses. What becomes interesting about the NWT, is that whenever the same Greek word, proskuneo, is used in relation to the Father, the translators translated it as worship, even though they rendered it differently in relation to Jesus. (This can be verified by looking in the Watchtower’s own Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures.) Is this a double standard? Is the NWT justified in translating this word 2 different ways; as obeisance to Jesus and as worship to the Father?

Yet, while we give worship to God's installed King, we are given balance in understanding that Jesus is not equal to his Father.
This does not mean that he is not due any worship.
Our balance is clarified, at
1Cor. 15:27-28:
"For “God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him. When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all."

This does not infer that Jesus does not receive worship....but it does make clear that it is a relative worship in comparison to what is due our Heavenly Father.

This might be illustrated with a family.
Suppose a mother sees to it (and enforces), that all in the household obey the Father.
This does NOT mean that the mother is obeyed INSTEAD of the Father, but rather,
that the mother is obeyed, because of the Father.
If the mother is disobeyed, the Father is also.
If the Father is obeyed, the mother is also.
This is how "worship" is given, both the Father and the Son, because of the Father,
and the position and authority He Himself, has given to His Son 
(Psalm.2:8; Phil.2:9,10; John 14:6; 5:22,23

Are Apostates the Man of Lawlessness?

A QUESTION:

I was having a discussion with the brother that used to teach me the bible about 2 Thes. 2:4 and he brought up Ezek. 28:2, saying that it is the apostates. Can you please assist.

2Thess.2:4
"who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God."

Eze.28:2:
"Son of man, say to *the ruler* of Tyre, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "'In the pride of your heart you say, "I am a god; *I sit on the throne* of a god in the heart of the seas." But you are a man and not a god, though you think you are as wise as a god."

You might ask, "If the apostates are ruling on the throne, how is it that non-anointed elders can expel them?".

2Thess.2:4 contains the same trait...."he sets himself up". This Greek means that he comes into power over all....not just that he thinks of himself as above others.

When Psalm 82:7 speaks of their downfall, it confirms that they were ruling.

Isaiah 23:8 says about this same identity (ruler of Tyre):
"Who has taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, Whose merchants are princes, Whose traders are the honorable of the earth?"
Isa.23:8 brings out that they are the "bestower of crowns"/"crowning city".
Do apostates have the power to give others position and authority among the people, as the GB gives it to elders? (Rev.9:7) Do they have "princes", and "merchants" of spiritual goods under them? (Eze.28:5-6,9; Rev.13:17).
These identities fit exactly those of Rev.9 and Rev.13. There it is made very clear, that these identities are not rogue rebels, but false prophets with world-wide power and dominion....able to bring "all the earth", including all holy ones, under their power for "3 1/2 times" (Rev.11:2; 13:7; Dan.8:13; Isa.6:11), because rule over the "Temple Courtyard", has been given into the hands of these Gentiles (Jer.12:10).


Where did they receive their throne?
Rev.18:7 speaks of the Harlot as also having this power...yet if all these are disfellowshipped individual "apostates"; who is the wild beast that they control and use to hurt the holy ones?

Try to keep in mind that unless YHWH draws someone to the truth, they will remain blind, no matter how well we may explain the truth to them (Rev.3:7; John 6:44; Matt.13:11,16). All of us absolutely depend upon Holy Spirit to perceive any truth (Rev.7:10; Psalm 104:29; John 16:13).

Think of the witness the Son of God gave mankind (Rev.3:14). Jesus raised the dead!
....And in response, the religious leaders sought to kill him (John 11:44,46-47,53; 12:10).
This is the outcome for all those who stand for truth in our day (Rev.13:15; 6:9-10,11). This is why Jesus told us...."For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it." Mark 8:35

Rev.6:11 shows that all  the remnant, need to be "killed/slain" (Mark 8:35; Rom.6:5; Rev.6:11) (Job 39:27-28,29-30; Luke 17:33-34,35-36,37 (see NKJV); Rom.12:1; 6:5), in order to get sealed. How exactly is that happening, to the anointed who are in the Organization.....in the "spiritual paradise"?
As long as Satan can convince the anointed that they have "peace and security" with God (Isa.32:18;  1Thess.5:2-3), and they are not destined to follow in the footsteps of Christ...
 (Luke 22:28; Rev.14:4; Rom.6:3)  Matt.16:21-22,23-24,25
...then they will not rouse themselves from their drunken stupor, Isa.51:21,22,23; Matt.5:13
and they will "buy from those who sell" (Matt.25:9-10; Rev.13:17) rather than from Christ (Rev.3:18-19).

It is well worth dying for our reward, which is soon to come!

Why does the Master delay?

Why does the Master, "delay"?

Luke 12:35 “Stay dressed for action, and keep your lamps burning, and be like men who are waiting for their master to come home from the wedding feast, so that they may open the door to him at once when he comes and knocks. Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them. If he comes in the second watch, or in the third , and finds them awake, blessed are those servants! But know this, that if the master of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have left his house to be broken into. You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
  *(2Thess.2:1-2,3; Rev.16:15; Joel 2:25,9; John 10:1,10; Matt.24:42-43). 

Jesus here is telling us that the Master is likely to arrive later than his slaves expect him. The reason? 2Thess.2:1-3 above tells us that there will be a counterfeit, premature declaration of his arrival. That arrival is not of Jesus, but it is the arrival of the thief (read above verses*)
He warns them in many scriptures, that this delay will cause drowsiness, and that it is imperative that they do not "fall asleep" (Luke 21:36). He exhorts them, not only to "keep on the watch", but to "keep their lamp burning" and stay ready to "open the door" as soon as the Master "knocks" 
(Luke 12:35-36; Rev.3:20) 
Lamps [or torches (same Greek word)] represent God's true prophets, sent out by God into all his "earth" (John 5:35; Rev.4:5; 5:6). That "earth" is God's footstool which is in subjection to Him... his field under cultivation 
(Isa.66:1; Ps.132:7;  1Cor.3:9,6; Luke 8:15,11)

At Matt.24:45-51, Jesus contrasts two types of his own steward slaves. Each are assigned the job of feeding the Master's household, "the proper food at the proper time". This refers to providing the light of truth, when the Master gives it. Yet as we have seen...the Master gives it to those slaves who are awake when he returns Luke 12:37). A drunken steward would not be alert enough to discern his Master's arrival, nor would he be diligently working until the last watch 
(Luke 12:45; Isa.29:9-10,11-12,13; 28:7-8,9-10,13-14,15-16,17-18,19). 
Logically, he would no longer be feeding the "household" the proper food when needed.

There is an important detail given us about this wicked slave.
We are told that he expected his Master too soon. The delay causes him to "beat his fellows", and to cohort with "confirmed drunkards" (Matt.24:49-50,51; Hosea 6:5 NIV).

Where did this wicked steward get the expectation that his Master was due earlier? (Heb.10:37; Hab.2:3-4) From where did the other slaves also get the idea that the Master was delaying? Who informed everyone about when the Master was due? Was the expectation accurate?
We were clearly told, that the feeding of information to all, was sourced in the Steward (Luke 12:42).
If all believed that the Master was due sooner, it was due to the direction coming from the Steward.
Only the steward determines what information all are "fed".

Apparently, the Steward was wrong. His provisions are not the proper food at the proper time. As the night drags on and this error becomes evident, the Steward needs to take measures toward reparation. If the steward is not shrewd, he resorts to suppressing the contributions of his fellows toward their master (John 8:40), and forming association with those drunk with worldly power and riches (Rev.18:3).

It seems at Matt.24:45-51, that there are two options open to those appointed as Steward (Luke 12:42). Is there any way for us to know which kind of steward WE may be feeding from?
Is there some way to know, which kind of Steward would be in power, when Christ did return?
Is there some way to know if our expectations about the arrival of the Master, are based on accurate "proper food at the proper time"? Or, have we been mislead into expecting him too soon, because of a wicked steward? (Dan.7:25;  2Thess. 2:1,2,3)

Yes, there is a way to tell. Two places in the Bible confirms that those over God's people would mislead  all the other anointed slaves, into a premature expectation of the Master's arrival. This would confirm, that the Steward over the household at Christ's return, was indeed, "wicked" and drunk with power.

2Thess. 2:1-4 reads:
"Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God (Greek: "theos"/having divinity/holy spirit)." (Rev.13:15; John 20:22)

Clearly, this Man of Lawlessness becomes ruler over the living stones of God's spiritual temple, previous to their being sealed (Rev.11:2; Dan.12:7,11; 8:13,10-11; Rev.13:7,18;  2Thess. 2:4; Matt.24:15; Dan.9:17-18). How did he rise tho this position over the priesthood?
The steward who empowers this "man" (Dan.8:24; 11:23; Rev.13:11,15), assumes an authority to teach as equal 
to the apostles (2Thess.2:2)("as though from us") (Rev.2:2;  2Cor.11:13-14,15). 
And what does he teach? ...That the Master's arrival has come. This declaration is described by Paul, as premature. There are consequences for declaring a false, premature fulfillment of prophecy...
 

But there is another scripture which leaves no doubt, 
that the prominent end-time Steward over God's household/Temple of God; is not the "faithful and discreet slave" at all...but inescapably, the "wicked slave"...

In speaking of the anointed "virgins" alive at the time when the Master does arrive
Matt.25:5 reads:
"As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept."
This is confirmation, that when the arrival of the Master draws close.....all anointed ones expected him sooner.
Why would that be? Well, only the steward was in charge of what others would expect. He was in charge of the information they were given....the "proper food at the proper time"? OR, "the wrong food, at the wrong time"?.
Since Christ declares that all the virgins are asleep when he arrives....and the Bridegroom is stated to "delay"; this is confirmation that the Steward who is over the household, is the wicked one who misleads all to expect the Master, too soon.




Next we read:
"But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps."

This parable tells us, that once awoken...all these virgins must choose what will fuel the light in their lamps.
Will the fuel come from "those who sell"? (Matt.25:9,10; Rev.13:17) 
Or, will it be from what they have in reserve, due to the spirit of their anointing ...so that they rely on no man for their light (Matt.25:4;  2Pet.3:2; John 14:26).
Although all anointed fall asleep due to the misinformation they accepted from the wicked steward (Rev.3:3); those wise ones will enter the marriage feast with the Bridegroom (Matt.25:10). Jesus says, they were "ready"....Yes, "ready to open when he knocks" (Luke 12:36). 
These are listening for the voice of the Bridegroom (John 3:29; 10:27; Rev.3:20), filling their lamps with light from him...in loyalty to their past receiving of Holy Spirit (1John 2:27,28). In courage, they let no one take it from them, that they should not run low (Matt.25:8,9; Rev.3:11;  1Pet. 3:5,6; Gal.4:26).

In fact, the Master does not delay at all (Heb.10:37; Hab.2:3). He comes exactly when he promised to (Matt.24:3 -- "The Signs of Christ's Presence"  1Thess. 5:1,2,4). 
But we now know, that God's slaves will initially expect him too soon. Why? Because the wicked steward gave the wrong information. Why? Because to declare the Lord as already come, allows the Steward to confiscate the reward reserved for the approved slaves (Matt.25:21)....which faithful slaves will not really be revealed, until the Master really does arrive (Matt.25:19;  1Cor.11:26; Rom.8:19; Mal.3:18).

A premature and counterfeit manifestation of the "Kingdom", also allows Satan to mislead and intimidate "the remaining ones of the woman's seed" into captivity, slavery, and idolatry (Rev.12:17;  2Thess.2:9; Matt.24:24,25; Rev.13:10,7,8), thereby extending his dominion. Satan is aware that his downfall comes, by means of the zealous preaching of truth (Rev.12:10,11). To survive, he must find a way to keep "Jerusalem's" Watchmen, silent (Isa.62:6; Rev.8:1; 13:17; 6:6).

How can we confirm that the steward is a "wicked" slave, and not a "faithful and discreet" one?
Besides the wicked slave's realization that the Master did not show up when he desired and expected,

Jesus tells us that we can also recognize that wicked slave,
if he resorts to "beating" his fellows when they realize his error, perhaps even trying to re-adjust "him" 
(John 8:40,47; Matt.23:32; Rev.11:8; Isa.30:10; 6:10; Zech.7:11; Psalm 58:4,5).

An additional trait, is that a wicked steward will consort with "drunkards". These are defined as those who rule Jehovah's flock with a lack of tenderness (Isa.28:1,2,3,4,7,8,14,22; Jer.23:1,2,9,11,12,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,39,40; Eze.34:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10).
  Do we see such an alliance with "confirmed drunkards" under the present "steward" (Matt.24:49)? (Isa.28:3; 5:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,11,13,18,19,20,21,22,23,26,30; Rev.9:1,2,3,10; 13:15,7; 19:20; 11:7).
Do we see them using the muscle of others, to "beat" their fellow slaves?

If the "beating" by a wicked steward takes place, how does God's Word help us to recognize it?
How can some anointed, beat other anointed, according to scripture
By violating Mark 10:42,43;  
1John 3:11,12,15; Isa.66:5; Matt.23:34) (Col.3:12; Matt.22:12,13; 8:12;  1John 2:9,11)
The wicked slave/steward over God's household, uses his power to treat his fellow slaves unlovingly. This includes being "cast out" and "killed"... sentenced as deserving spiritual death.

Do we have any indication from prophecy, that this will occur?
Will there be casting out / killing of God's faithful, in the time of the end?
(John 16:2; Rev.13:15,7; 17:6; 11:3,7; 6:9,11)

These previous scriptures are derived from Christ's message to the "seven congregations"..."to show his slaves what must soon take place". Revelation is not a hypothetical warning, but it "must take place".
The acts against the Holy Ones within Revelation's depictions, are the result of a "false prophet" (Rev.19:20; 13:11,15) and a "Wild Beast" which that false prophet is allies with (Dan.8:24; 11:31).

If the "false prophet" is indeed a wicked steward who is beating his fellows....
How does the steward accomplish this? Revelation clearly depicts, that it is through the muscle of the Wild Beast, (which the false prophet / harlot, has authority and power over), that is the means by which the beatings from the false prophet would be carried out. The Bible uses the symbol "wild beast" to describe "sons of pride",  just as the Bible's "drunkards" are described. 
(Dan.4:30,32,33,37; Job 41:34; 28:8; Isa.5:29,30;  1Cor.15:32) (Isa.5:21,22,29,30).

The outcome?
"The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

How will God "cut" such a false prophet "in pieces"?
But means of God's true prophets (Hosea 6:5 NIV ), whose tongue has become the sharp sword of God's Word 
(Isa.49:2; Heb.4:12).

QUESTION:

i trust you are well, i am learning so much from the letters you have been posting lately, may Jehovah keep blessing you with more accurate knowledge.
This morning i was reading the book of Acts, can you please tell me who wrote the book? I think it is Paul but verse 14 of chapter 2 got me thinking - if the book was written by Paul why does he say "Peter, standing with the eleven" if he thought that Matthias was not an apostle chosen by Jesus?

Good question!
As far as I can see, Acts was written by Luke in Rome, and it was completed around 61 AD. This would help explain why Luke included Matthias in "the eleven"
(see Acts1:26--literally, "reckoned in" by men. Greek "reckoned" is like our English "assumed".).
We see that even today, Matthias continues to be "reckoned" in with the twelve. All who are inclined to proudly put their trust in the power and authority of men, have this confidence.
It takes fear of God and humility, to realize that the placement of God's founding agents of the Kingdom, is the exclusive right of God, along with the One whose blood paid for such placement.

Heavenly Hope--Exclusively?

A reader let me know that a couple of points were confusing.
I will post my clarification here now, in the hopes that this is clearer...

First, promise me you will read the scriptures in this letter. (lol)
So many get the wrong idea, purely because they are not reading the cited scriptures.
I don't think people realize how many holes I leave, in what I am writing, that only the scriptures cited can fill.
When the scriptures are not read along with my words, all kinds of misunderstandings arise.
Also, yes, I see how that comment about the two hopes would be puzzling. Sorry. I don't always write what I mean clearly.
Here is a previous post which may help explain what I mean when I say that there are not two hopes.......

The hope of the 144,00 is not "heavenly", because the "hope" of these Chosen firstborn Sons of God (Rev.20:6; 14:4), is not exclusively "heavenly" (Heb.1:6; Acts.3:20,21).
These are the ones who also inherit the earth, becoming eternal Kings upon it (Psalm2:8; Rev.5:10; 21:2; Dan.2:44).
There is a purpose and a reason they are able to go to heaven (Rom.8:28,29,30; John17:22; Eph.1:5,10,11; 3:11; Heb.9:15) 
It is not to be imprisoned there, deprived of earth (John8:36; 2Cor.3:17; Gal.4:31; Prov.10:22).

The purpose of their being in heaven, is so that they can be adopted as Jehovah's full sons (Rom.8:19,23; Rev.14:1; John4:24; 3:6) 
and learn directly from Him (Rev.16:18; Psalm77:18; John12:28,29; Rev.10:4; 22:4) before coming back down to earth...
bringing that pure, divine Truth with them (Rev.21:2; 22:1,2; John1:51; Psalm72:16) for the "curing of the Nations" on earth.


Those of the earth will never be spirit or go to heaven (as far as I know). But like the anointed, they can receive eternal life physically (Matt.10:41).
I did not mean that only the anointed are being saved now. True, the emphasis is on the harvest of the wheat (anointed) under the present covenant woman. But the scriptures promise that those not anointed, also have hope of salvation at the end of Satan's world.....

Through the preaching of the final "two witnesses", some who are not anointed can be saved. But the number is prophesied to be very few of either purpose.
 Most will spurn the faithful slaves (Matt.25:31,32,41,42,43,44,45,46; Rev.11:8,9,10; 1Cor.4:13)--
[which in light of disfellowshipping (John16:2; Mark13:13; 8:35), is not surprising.]
But the ones who listen to the true prophets, can also attend the marriage feast of Revelations opened scrolls, though not originally invited (Matt.22:8,9,10; 25:10).

                                                     tells us that the standard for invitation, is to be exiting apostate
                                                     "Jerusalem", which would be the same ones who are obeying

The marriage feast is not in heaven, but is the spiritual food that the "two witnesses" receive from the Master, when they are sealed, in order to prophesy (Rev.11:3; 1:1,2,3; Luke12:35,36,37; Rev.3:20; John15:15; Rev.5:7; 1:1) while still on earth.
This occurs after these anointed ones, wake up (Rev.9:14; Matt.25:5,6,7), and have left subjection to the Beast.

Organized Religion/Hopes/Mountains/Man of Lawlessness

I am posting this reply to a letter, because I believe the information is helpful for everyone.


The problem with the original "light" about general humans living on earth rather than in heaven (except the 144000) is that,
it teaches that there are two different hopes...one earthly, one heavenly. This is not true. So that teaching is not much better than the one that said all men go to heaven. But at least it does show that included in the reward for humans, is the earth (Psalm 37:11,29).
The reason the anointed faithful spend some time in heaven (Eph.2:6), is mostly about their work.....not totally for their reward. For, it is not where they are that is their reward....but it is who they are with, and what they are doing (John 14:10-11,12,28; 5:20; Matt.25:23). (pearl-holycity.blogspot.com)
Those rewards can be anywhere. It does not depend upon a "physical" location 
(2Pet.1:19; Prov.3:13-14,15-16,17-18; Rom.8:38,39).

The last part of it will help you with your bad experience with the Governing Body, and how to obey Christ in where to find spiritual truth.
We all must learn to receive spiritual food according to God's way....the anointed included (1Cor.4:7; 12:18,28; 11:29; Col.1:18).

Yes...I did worry about us forming a new religious "group"....because that is not the arrangement of Jesus Christ.
He talked about us being left, as orphans, and to be outside the camp...alone and suffering shame (John 14:18; 16:20; Heb.13:13;  1Pet.4:12-13,14).
If we start another religion, it opens us up to being under Satan's worldly power. Satan is the one that now rules all organizations, powers, and authorities

However we must remember that we have a command to gather and meet (Heb.10:24,25; Gal.5:13).
This means that some form of arrangements are made to meet and support one another.

Although through his faithful death, Jesus has been bestowed all these things (Matt.28:18; Eph.1:20-21); he does not exercise his full and eternal authority, until his brothers are finished being tested by Satan and sealed, and all his enemies are subdued through his faithful brothers 
(Ps.110:1,2,3;  2Pet.3:8; Ps.2:8-9,10-11,12; Rev.2:26-27). 
Once the full administration is victorious in their battle for truth 
(Eph.1:10;  1Cor.10:4-5; Rev.12:10-11; 6:9-10,11), 
Jesus will become a King in God's eternal Kingdom, and fully use the symbolic "keys" of authority he now possesses (as king of his own "Thousand Year" kingdom), which reign he is now sharing with his faithful sealed brothers (Matt.16:19; Luke 10:19; Rev.1:6; 5:10; Rev.20:6; John 5:24). His brothers who were faithful over the "little" gold/truth they were given during the Thousand Years (Matt.25:20; Rev.3:18), will be trusted with "much" during forever 
(Luke 16:10; Matt.25:23,34; Dan.2:44; 4:17; 7:21,22).

Organized religion is a snare of Satan (Rev.8:8; 6:14; 16:20). That is what Satan offered Jesus (Matt.4:8,9). All Christ's genuine anointed followers also face this temptation.


It must be resisted, as the apostle Paul resisted it. He spent his life slaving for Christ and the Lord's sheep.
Like the other faithful anointed, Paul did not work with, nor was he guided by, an organization of men
 (Gal.1:10,15,16,17,20;  1Cor.6:12; Col.2:20,22,19,8,10,15; James 4:7), but rather, by spirit

Any who take a position ruling over others (Mark 10:42,43,44), along with the power and riches that come with it (1Cor.4:8), have "fallen"

and are now under Satan's dominion (Matt.4:9).

Jesus' own answer to Satan when so tempted, was "Go away Satan. It is the Lord your God you must worship." (Matt.4:10)

This faithfulness in imitation of Jesus, is what the apostle Paul succeeded in doing while he suffered and lived with indignity
(1Cor.4:8-9,10-11,12-13,14,16,21;  2Cor.11:7,12-13,23-24,25-26,27-28,29-30,31).
As with all other faithful anointed, he is a shining star during this "night" 
(Rev.1:16,20; Rom.13:12; Matt.25:6; John 5:35) (Phil.2:15; Dan.12:3).

Paul imitated Jesus, in truly  being no part of this world (John 17:16;  1John 2:15). We must remember this always,
 while Satan offers the deceptive advantage, of religious rule (1John 2:15,16,17; Rev.17:9).

"Flee to the mountains". Yes.  This means to go and learn from the faithful anointed (Eze.36:1,8). All the faithful anointed will come and work to provide food 
(John 21:17; 15:8; Rev.11:3; Eze.36:8; Matt.24:15-16; Luke 17:37 *; Job 39:27,30; Rev.11:8)(Luke 12:42)
....without accepting worldly prominence and power. 
That can now be done on the internet.
There is no need to form a worldly organization (John 18:36; 17:16; Mark 10:42-43). 

Remember how Jesus and his apostles taught? Whoever wanted to listen, could come and listen (Matt.14:19).
Jesus and his disciples needed nothing more than their own mouths (Heb.13:15-16) to give an "acceptable" offering to the Father (1Pet.2:5).
The anointed can consult with one another, as Christ and the apostles also did. 
(Matt.24:3; Luke 8:9; Mark 4:10;  1Cor.12:20-21,22,25; Col.2:19). Proving spirit and truth does not require that we compromise in order  to form an organizational power.

Also remember what Jesus said about how to find the "manifestation of his presence"?
He said that his revealed Truth would come.....as lightening from east to west....
NOT as a location to gather (Matt.24:23,26-27,28; Psalm 97:11).
We are wise to heed this disclosure.

Our Father in heaven and Jesus can see all those whose hearts are good (Psalm 44:21).
They do not need us to collect ourselves to know who and where we are (2Chron.16:9; Eze.9:4).


I will give spiritual food and direction, as long as holy spirit gives it to me, and as long as I live 
(Mark 4:20; Luke 8:15; Matt.10:20).

The Man of Lawlessness in 2Thess.2:3-4, Is comprised of the spiritual Gentiles who rule each Congregation.....the Not - anointed elders and overseers. 
                 [Anointed are considered spiritual Jews (Rom.2:29) and as priests, belong in the Temple
                  (1Cor.3:16).
                  The Man of Lawlessness does not belong  in the Temple (2Chron.23:6; Eze.44:7,9),
                  because he is not a chosen anointed priest!
                  This is why he is considered a "disgusting thing" in the "Holy Place"/Temple.*]

The Governing body is now over that Man of Lawlessness/wild beast/NON-anointed "priesthood".
During the Great Test/Tribulation, the man of lawlessness is over God's genuine temple priests 
(Luke 21:24; Rev.11:2; Dan.7:7; 8:13,10; Rev.12:4)(who-are-fallen-stars-of-Rev.12:4.html) .

  After that Beast turns on the Harlot, then Harlot/GB will be dethroned, and the Man of Lawlessness
will alone rule for a short time (the eighth king) without them.

He avoided those who just wanted to argue and find fault (Matt.12:14-15).
