Who is "Israel"?

A QUESTION:
Pearl,
Do you yourself believe that the Jewish people today, will come to know Jesus and see him as the true Messiah that was sent by Jah?

MY REPLY:

The answer to this question first requires that your definition of "Jew" be defined.
If as I suspect, you define "Jew" based upon physical traits, then my answer must be a conditional "No".
If you define "Jew" upon spiritual traits, then my answer must be a conditional "Yes".
Why are each of these answers "conditional"?
Because those spiritual Jews who "see" can become "blind"; and those physical Jews who are "blind" can be made to "see" (Rom.11:22,23,24).
It is as Jesus said...those who are God's chosen people must "endure to the end" to be finally saved (Matt.24:13; Eze.33:18,19).

Now because of a prevailing and popular attitude about the salvation of ethnic "Jews", I will assume which of these options is the intent of your question. If I assume wrongly, please notify me, and I will reconsider your clarified question.
I will assume that you are asking...
"Will those considered Jews by physical descent alive today (or in the time of the end) be converted in Faith to true Christianity, and thereby fulfill scriptural prophecy regarding 'Israel'?"

I hope this rephrased question is the right choice from among the above options. This is the most popular interpretation of your words; So I will reply accordingly.

God's people today, are no longer Jews by physical descent.
Please examine the scriptural basis for this conclusion....

"Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you (the Jews) and given to a people who will produce its fruit." Matt.21:43 (Matt.7:19; John 15:16,5; Prov.12:14; Heb.13:15;  1Pet.2:5,9,10)

"You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” For if God did not spare the natural branches (natural physical Jews), he will not spare you either. If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot (Gentiles--not Jews), have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap (holy spirit) from the olive root (John 15:4,5;  1Cor.12:13), do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you." (Rom.11:19,21,17,18)

"Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you did not want it. "Behold, your house is being left to you abandoned!" (Matt.23:37,38) (Josh.24:20;  2Chron.15:2; 7:19,20,21,22;  1Chron.28:9;  1Kings 9:7; Matt.24:2)

God's past promises made to physical Jews will not fail, despite their rejection of the Messiah. How? Paul tells us how:
"Well then, has God failed to fulfill his promise to Israel? No, for not all who are born into the nation of Israel are truly members of God's people!" (Rom.9:6)
If God only accepts Jews of faith in Christ, he has fulfilled his promise toward Jews through that remnant of faithful (Rom.9:27; John 1:11-12).
And God can add to that nation, by converting Gentiles who imitate Abraham's faith, into "Jews" to bless. Then His promises of blessings are still fulfilled to his New hybrid nation who are all SPIRITUAL Jews, yet physically both Jew and Gentile (Eph.2:15-16,17-18,19; Rom.2:28-29; 4:9-12; Gal.3:28-29).
Just as we can prove ourselves sons of God by imitation (Eph.5:1)
or sons of Satan by imitation (John 8:44)
we can become sons of Abraham (Jews) by imitation of his faith (Heb.6:12).
"I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way, all Israel will be saved." (Rom.11:25,26)
Can you discern from these two scriptures, that the means by which God's promises will be fulfilled toward Israel, is by means of the compensation by Gentiles to fulfill the deficient full number by physical Jews? By God's acceptance of Gentiles into His new faithful Nation (thereby cleansing Gentiles into spiritual Jews/"Israel"); the promises He made will be fulfilled...
"For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on the promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise. So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith (not through physical descent);  for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise." (Gal.3:18,26,27,28,29)

This is why Paul did not assume his salvation was based upon his Jewish flesh. (Phil.3:3; Gal.6:15)
He based it upon a "circumcision of the heart" which cleansing by spirit occurs to those who become spiritual Jews (Rom.2:28,29) and heirs of Abraham (Gal.3:29).

The "Old Covenant" ("Law") was "near to passing away" and being replaced through Christ (Heb.8:7,8,6,13; Matt.5:17). He is the "seed" who fulfilled and received the promises to Abraham (Gal.3:16). But he was to share his authority and inheritance with his brothers (Gal.3:22; Phil.3:10,11; Rom.6:5; 8:17;  2Pet.1:4). As physical descendants of Abraham, the Jews were first to be offered the inheritance of the kingdom (Matt.15:24; 10:6; Acts 13:46; Rom.15:8; Matt.15:24), but this preference would not last (Luke 8:21; Heb.8:13; Acts 13:44,45,46; 18:6; Luke 24:47; Rom.11:19; John 15:2; Matt.21:43).
God could raise up sons of Abraham ("Jews") from even Gentiles (Luke 3:8; Rom.2:28,29; Gal.3:14,28,29; Gal.4:28,26; Matt.21:43; Acts.10:34,35; 15:8,9,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19; Gen.17:3,4,5; Rev.5:9,10). These would stand by means of faith, not by means of their Jewish flesh (Rom.11:20;  2Cor.1:24; Heb.6:12,15; 10:36).

God has allowed the free-will choice of the physical Jews to either accept or reject what God has offered them (Matt.27:23,25; Acts 18:6; Rom.11:25; 9:18; 11:7,12) until the full number of required anointed priests and kings is fulfilled by "Gentiles" (all nations). That required number is not literal, but rather is the full number of all those who can be saved (2Pet.3:9; John 18:9; Rom.10:13-17; Mark 8:35; Rev.6:9-11).
Once the "remnant" of physical Jews of faith in Christ were gathered (Rom.9:27; 11:5); the rest of the anointed flock of Christ was completed by means of physical Gentiles. These two groups would become "one flock" over which there would be "one shepherd".
Two links to help with this understanding:

All the prophecies that mention the final salvation to the "Jews", are speaking of those  )
who are God's nation by means of faith (Rom.9:26; 8:14). These become "Jews" in spirit. God's original promise to Abraham specified that he would be father, not just to Jews, but to "many nations" (Gen.17:5,7). Abraham is father to those who imitate his faith, though which they inherit the promises given to him and his seed (Gal.3:29; Rom.4:9,12-13).
Abraham's seed are the same spiritual "Jews" being spoken of in the symbolic book of Revelation (Rev.7:4; 21:14). A spiritual Jew is a person of uncompromising divine truth (John 1:47; Rev.14:1,5).
These are the same 144000 seen on "Mt. Zion" (Rev.14:1) and are equated in scripture with New Jerusalem (Isa.2:3; Heb.12:22; Rev.21:2).

So although many formally and informally trained "scholars" declare that we should expect a miraculous conversion of physical Jews, in order to fulfill God's promises to save "Israel";
the scriptures identify
 who "Israel" actually is,
the means by which this entire new nation will be "saved",
and clarifying precisely who will fulfill and receive those very promises.
 (Jer.31:33; Rom.2:14,15; Acts 10:35; 15:9,14; Isa.43:21;  1Pet.2:9,10; Rev.5:9,10).

I know that there are many more scriptures which establish these things, and I apologize for not including all of them. I hope the ones I was enabled to offer, are sufficient to give you a clear reply.
If not, please follow up with your additional question.
God bless you in your search for truth (Matt.13:11),
Pearl
--------------------

Dear "The Message",
I will quote (and underline) some of your previous post and cited scriptures, and within it, offer some scriptural considerations.

Gen 22:18 And by means of your seed all nations of the earth will certainly bless themselves due to the fact that you have listened to my voice."

Yes, God made this promise to Abraham and his seed. Who is that "seed" physically descended from Abraham?
Please consider Gal.3:16...
"The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say "and to seeds," meaning many people, but "and to your seed," meaning one person, who is Christ".
So,
Christ fulfilled God's promise to Abraham's "seed".
He shares that throne, with those whom God chooses to be His new people (Eph.2:15) (Rev.3:21;  2Tim.2:12; Rev.2:26; Luke 19:17) (Eph.1:4,10; 3:8-9; Col.1:27) without any preference to physical lineage (see below).
Christ was eligible to fulfill that promise, because he was also born under the Law Covenant as a Jew (Gal.4:4-5). < He redeemed only those of Israel, who accepted him [Matt.15:24; John 1:11; 12:48-49; 8:13,24,26,33,37,39-44,47; 3:36; Matt.20:18-19; John 19:11; Matt.27:24-25; 21:43; 23:33-38; Rev.17:6 (Luke 13:33 B) Rev.19:2.
(Matt.3:9; Rom.2:28-29; 9:6; Gal.6:15-16; 3:28-29; Eze.36:26-28;  1Pet.2:10,9,5).
Those who have God's Laws on their hearts, have a spiritual mark on them (Deut.11:18; Rev.14:1). Those who follow other Laws (John 8:44) have a different mark (Rev.13:16-18; 16:13,15). They are not serving God (Rev.7:3), nor do they inherit the promises (John 3:36; Rom.4:13; Heb.6:12).
Jesus also fulfilled the Law that he was born under (Rom.10:4), which then, passed away (Heb.8:7,13,9,10; 9:15; Rev.5:9-10)... replaced by the New Covenant.
Remember... the covenant to Abraham made him father of many nations (Gen.17:4; Rom.4:13,16; 1:16; Gal.3:7-9), with no designation of partiality to any nation in particular (Acts 10:34-35).

This is the foremost covenant, the world will experience a blessing by means of Abraham's seed. This seed of Abraham comprises of both a physical seed, the Jews
and a spiritual seed, Christians.

Yes, both the physical seed of Abraham and the spiritual, are realities.
The reality of physical seed, does not guarantee that this seed are heirs.
True, the Jews were given preference, by being offered the inheritance first.
Those under Law who accepted Christ while that offer stood open (Matt.10:5-6; Heb.8:13; Rom.1:16; Acts 13:26-28,44-51; 15:7-9,14-17), received the reward which their faith incurred (Rom.11:1,5,7,11,14,19-23,35).

No one can deny that the Jews are the physical seed of Abraham.
No one can deny that Christians are the spiritual seed of Abraham by means of faith.

ALL are seed of Abraham by means of Faith
(Rom.4:12-13,16; Gal.3:7,9,14,27-29; Col.3:11). The physical seed of Abraham who lack faith (and are not a part of the remnant - Rom.9:27; John 1:11-12), are no longer considered Abraham's seed (John 8:39,44), nor do they inherit the earth (Gen.13:14-15; Rom.4:13; Ps.37:29).

The conclusion: Both aspects of Abraham's seed exist and are legitimate!
The Jews are part of the new covenant. God explicitly says:
Jer 31:33,34 "For this is the covenant that I shall conclude with the house of Israel after those days," is the utterance of YHVH. "I will put my law within them, and in their heart I shall write it. And I will become their God, and they themselves will become my people."
"And they will no more teach each one his companion and each one his brother, saying, 'KNOW YHVH!' for they will all of them know me, from the least one of them even to the greatest one of them," is the utterance of YHVH. "For I shall forgive their error, and their sin I shall remember no more

But who is the "house of Israel"??? (Rom.9:6; 2:28-29; Phil.3:3; Heb.3:6)
Who is considered "Israel" by God (Gal.6:16). God considers Israel his "flock" of sheep (Jer.31:10). The Jews who repented and accepted Christ (Acts 13:24-25), were the little flock (Luke 12:32). When Jesus brings in the Gentiles, they become ONE FLOCK without a divided distinction among them (John 10:16; Eph.2:15; Isa.56:8; Eze.37:24; John 11:52; Gal.3:26; Rom.8:27).
Who have God's Laws written on their hearts? (Eze.37:24; Deut.6:6,8; Rev.14:1)... who become God's people? (1Pet.2:10,9,5) Whose error is forgiven? (Heb.9:15; Rev.5:9-10)
Who really know God? (Isa.43:6-7,10,12,25,21;  1Pet.2:9; John 6:46; Matt.11:27)
Just those who bear Abraham's physical genes?
Jer. 31:33,34 does not insist upon this.
All God's Sons must have God's Laws in their hearts.
(Luke 8:11,15)

"Unless you eat my flesh"

QUESTION:
When you find time, I was wondering if you could help clarify something for me.
I have done a lot of research on partaking at the Lord’s Evening Meal already, but kinda put it on the “back burner”. The scriptures indicate to me as well as the fact that the non-Israelites partook of the Passover Lamb before the “exodus”, that if “we want to have anything to do with Christ”, whether having a heavenly or earthly hope, rejecting the emblems would be tantamount to rejecting Christ.
Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

MY REPLY:
I will tell you right off, that John 6:53 does not mean what many are making of it....
namely, that all should partake.

Although all partook of the passover lamb;
those who were actually saved by this provision were the "firstborn" (Heb.11:28; 12:22,23; James 1:18).
I know it sounds like Jesus is speaking of the memorial emblems in John 6:53, but he is not.
He is speaking of taking in and believing truth (John 6:63,55,47,48,49,50; 17:3,17). This is symbolic, which plays out in the context.
John 6:54,58 speaks of the same manna as the "hidden manna" of Rev.2:17. (see John 14:21)
This "bread from heaven" is not the simple emblems of literal bread and wine (John 6:31,51) as if eating the literal emblems, magically results in eternal life. These do not result in "eternal life".
John 17:3 makes plain, that such life results from a knowledge of God and Christ (Matt.28:20). Since "bread from heaven" and "knowledge" are both taught by God's Word as the source of eternal life; why not simply accept what so many scriptures confirm....
that taking in the "bread from heaven" is taking in a knowledge of truth (1Cor. 5:8), as delivered by Christ from his Father in heaven. Taking in the bread from heaven, is not eating literal bread.

Christ was the "Word" of God personified. He was truth, without which we cannot be sanctified (John 14:6; 17:17), disciplined (Rev.2:16; Heb.12:6), and made wise for salvation (2Tim. 3:15). This does not happen magically, through the simple act of eating literal bread and wine. When Jesus spoke of life resulting from his flesh and blood, he was not referring to literal emblems.
The manna/bread from heaven, being referred to in John chapter 6, is not the memorial emblems at all, but rather, an illustration about Truth as personified in Christ.

Although the emblems are also symbolic, they are a different application of the symbolism of bread, in that they were presented as symbols on the last night of Christ's human life. There they represent becoming one with Christ (as a wife) and that blood is one of a covenant with her (Luke 22:20,19; Eph.5:25; Rev.5:9,10).
Please read and ponder all these scriptures.
If you doubt that the same symbols can be used for different meanings, please consider Luke 8:11 (scripture); Matt.13:38 (disciples); John 12:24 (a life to sacrifice).

Returning to the connection between the emblems shared by Jesus' disciples at Passover, and the passover lamb to save the firstborn of Israel in Egypt (Heb.11:28;  1Cor. 5:7; Heb.12:22-23; James 1:18)... The provision of life to those who are not the firstborn from sin and death, is also clearly given within the scriptures (John 13:20; Matt.10:41; 5:14,16; John 7:38; Rev.22:17; Zech.8:23). The anointed branches of the true vine, are the channels of light, life, living waters, and truth (John 15:4,5,8; Matt.7:20; Rom.11:17;  2Cor. 5:20) to those who "come to life" after the firstborn (John 13:20; Matt.10:40-42).

Remember that although many put faith in Christ (John 8:30; 12:11), only the 11 were at this event (Luke 22:14; John 6:70). Of those Chosen Ones (John 6:70; 15:19) to come after the original twelve (Eph.1:4; 2:10,20-22;  1Cor. 12:18,28; Col.2:11; Eph.5:26; James 1:18;  2Thess. 2:13;  2Tim. 1:9; Rev.17:14), ...those had to discern their place in the body of Christ, in order to partake worthily (1Cor. 11:29; 12:18).
If we are not a part of Christ's body (as his one-"flesh" wife Matt.19:6) (really...one spirit wife -  1Cor. 6:17), we do not partake of the symbol of this union and hope (Phil.3:10-11,12-13,14; 2:15; Rom.8:17,9; Gal.2:20; John 17:21). This is the sacred secret of the bond between the chosen firstborn and Christ. This is why this relationship is compared to marriage.
This covenant is not for those who receive life by means of God's chosen priests (Matt.28:19-20; Mal.2:7;  1Cor. 4:1; Rev.22:17). The "children" to follow the firstborn "mother", receive life through a further provision, an eternal covenant to come during the kingdom of these sealed kings. (Rev.21:2-5; 22:1,2; Rom.8:19; Gal.3:26,29; John 5:29; Mal.3:18)

Remember too, that Jesus was speaking to Jews already in covenant with God (Matt.15:24; 10:6). If these accepted the teachings of Jesus Christ, they would have a part of the New Covenant, which "Old Covenant" was "near to passing away" and being replaced through Christ (Heb.8:7,8,6,13; Matt.5:17). As physical descendants of Abraham, the Jews were first to be offered the inheritance of the kingdom, but this preference would not last (Heb.8:13; Acts 13:44,45,46; Luke 24:47; Rom.11:19; John 15:2; Matt.21:43). God could raise up sons of Abraham from even Gentiles (Luke 3:8; Rom.2:28,29; Gal.3:14,28,29; Matt.21:43; Acts 10:34,35; 15:8,9,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19; Gen.17:3,4,5).
The point is, those to whom Jesus spoke at John 6:53 were those Jews, still in covenant, and still eligible for the kingdom inheritance. That door is not open to all today. Not all are in the "Law" covenant, which covenant has now been done away with, replaced by one with those specifically chosen by God and Christ from all nations, who now become spiritual Jews (Jer.31:33; Acts 15:14; Isa.43:21;  1Pet.2:9; Rev.5:9,10). The promises to Abraham are not by means of the Law Covenant with the Jews. They were to Abraham, and to his seed of "many nations" (Gen.17:4,7).
As we read at Gal.3:17,18:
"What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430 years (AC) later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise. For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on the promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise."

Abraham's seed are the same spiritual "Jews" being spoken of in the symbolic book of Revelation (Rev.7:4; 21:14).
These are the same 144000 seen on "Mt. Zion" (Rev.14:1) and are equated in scripture with New Jerusalem (Isa.2:3; Heb.12:22; Rev.21:2).

Annual Meeting 2013

There are some consistent reports of what transpired at this year's annual meeting yesterday
A large number of attendees transmitted their notes to common sites for comparison.
Although there was no anticipated overt demand for allegiance by the GB on behalf of the Org. at this time,
such is already fully manifested through covert means. How typical of Satan. His machinations are well camouflaged, and designed to be undetectable.
Now that the GB has declared themselves the only "faithful and discreet slave" (Isa.47:8; John 5:31; Luke 17:10; Luke 12:42,41,40; Mark 13:36,37);
let us see what they have to impart to their audience.

Of what the attendees transmitted, I have gleaned a few statements from the GB members, and have included below, some scriptural thoughts for comparison. Paraphrased statements by GB members will be highlighted.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Mark Sanderson "a display to honor Jehovah"
New bible display created at headquarters, displays pages from many bible manuscripts and versions. Great effort was extended to acquire antique and rare copies of the Bible.

Is such a collection of publications, truly what "honors" God? (John 15:8,5; Matt.5:16; Matt.7:17,20)
Whatever the claims of men, the truth comes from Christ.
He was foremost to "honor" God, yet the means by which he did so, never included a display of physical goods, nor his ability to acquire material treasures.

It was the Pharisees who felt that a materialistic and physical display of scripture, was actually of value.
Note Matt.23:5, where Jesus said of them...
"Everything they do is for show. On their arms they wear extra wide prayer boxes with Scripture verses inside, and they wear robes with extra long tassels."

As with the religious Leaders of Jesus' day, such displays emphasize the material and physical, not the spiritual (1Cor.2:10,12,13,14).
Was it God's purpose for both the Bible and the Hebrew scrolls, to be physically displayed as "priceless relics"?
What is the real value of God's Word, both in the time of Christ and today?
What does God intend for us to accomplish by means of the Bible and "prayer boxes" filled with scripture?
At Deut.11:18, God tells us...
"Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads".
"Symbols on your hands and forehead"...
Yes...a SYMBOL, that God's words would guide our minds and actions (John 14:17) (Rev.13:16).
Yet the Pharisees thought that by means of a visual display of God's guidance,
one could established their own righteousness.
Such a display does not honor God, but as Christ's criticism established (Matt.23:26,28), it mocks Him.

A Bible only contains power and value for us, if the wisdom within it is used and obeyed. What spiritual benefit is derived from a material display?
According to Jesus Christ, none. But if we are inclined to think otherwise, we diminish the spiritual value and authority which the Bible contains...
and we rightly deserve the name which Jesus called such men...
"Hypocrites!"

Was this spirit of hypocrisy displayed by the expressions of governing body members during this meeting?
Despite the lavish physical display of scripture, now view-able at headquarters,
note the next comment given by Guy Pierce...

"Paul did NOT mean to test the faith as in test the religion. We KNOW we have the true religion already."

Undoubtedly Mr. Pierce refers to 2Cor.13:5...

"Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith."

If Mr. Pierce denies that "faith" is our beliefs...our "religion"...

what definition of "faith" does he have in mind?
Is he speaking of unwavering trust in his governing body, or the Organization?
Are the sheep to test out their unwavering faith in, and loyalty to those things?

Is this what Paul really had in mind?

Having the faith mentioned in 2Cor.13:5 is associated with having "Jesus Christ among/in you".

The verse tells us that if our faith becomes a counterfeit, Jesus Christ will no longer be among us.

What "faith" is required to retain Christ within us? (Eph.3:17,19,20; 4:13; John 14:23; Rom.8:10,9; Col.1:23)
In the very next verse (2Cor.13:6), Paul declares that he himself does not fail this test of faith and union with Christ.
Was Paul referring to faith in men or an organization? (Gal.1:11,12,19,20,10,6,7,8; Eph.4:5; Col.1:23)
If we read the next verses, we see what Paul means by "failing the test" of faith (2Cor.13:7,8)...
"Now we pray to God that you will not do anything wrong--not so that people will see that we have stood the test but so that you will do what is right even though we may seem to have failed. For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth."

The test of true faith, are the deeds which result toward the truth.

To be "in the faith" is to be "for truth" in union with Christ.
To "fail the test" of faith, is to work "against the truth" and to lose union with Christ.

What truth? Is the source of that truth, an unquestioning trust in men, or an organization?

Jesus said:
"Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) (Rom.5:2)

When Paul said "And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test." (2Cor.13:6)...
note what test he refers to, mentioned in the context 2Cor.13:3...
"since you are demanding proof that Christ is speaking through me. He is not weak in dealing with you, but is powerful among you."

The test was demanding proof that Christ indeed did speak through Paul. He did not fail that test.

It was not an organization or a governing group that spoke through Paul. Should Paul's audience just have assumed that Paul automatically represented the "true religion"?
Paul passed this test of wise scrutiny, because he was loyal in working "for the truth" from Christ;
even though it appeared that Paul "seemed to have failed" (2Cor.13:7).
Why did Paul say that it appeared he failed?
Paul only worked for truth from Christ, yet was in "ill-repute" (2Cor.6:8;  1Cor.4:10,13) by those who had taken power to rule (1Cor.4:8,2). These spoke against Paul and his work for truth (Rom.3:8). Would not such men as those, be the real ones to "fail the test" of faith in the truth of Christ?

Then Paul says he hopes that this seeming failure, will not cause his hearers to "do anything wrong". Here Paul was concerned for his hearers, that they not reject him on the basis of those slandering him as failing this test of faith (Luke 10:16).

Faith is defined at Heb.11:1.

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."

That definition of faith is a belief and hope for the future. That faith is according to the promises of God found within His Word (Col.1:23). That, is the "true religion".
If any organization, or body of powerful men, pervert that hope, belief, or promises,
from unity with the teachings of Christ and scripture; (Col.2:8;  1John 4:1;  1Tim.4:1)
then we'd better "test" that "religion"!

When we "test" if we are "in the faith",

we are testing whether what we believe and hope for, is in harmony with truth,
defined by scripture and the teachings of Christ.
If it is not, we lose our unity with the spirit of Christ (1Cor.6:17; Gal.2:20; John 15:5;  1John 2:28).
God's Word does not mention "religion", "organization", or "governing body" when speaking of passing the test of faith.
It speaks of testing our hopes, confidence, and belief,
and making certain that they are derived from the truth of Christ.
That would certainly call into question, our "religion".

"Have nothing to do with "bum" witnesses."

I will simply reply to this with scripture...

(Matt.7:1,2; Rom.15:1,2; 14:4; 12:10;  1Thess.5:14;  1Cor.9:22; 12:22,23,24,25)

(1Cor.10:12; 8:2; Prov.16:18; Rev.3:17,18; Phil.2:3; Luke 21:2,3; Matt.5:22;  2Tim.2:24,25;  1John 4:20; 3:14; Micah 6:8)

In speaking about the new Bible translation...

Guy Pierce This new information is confidential. Please do not share it.
Apparently, this "new information" is not sourced with Christ.
(Matt.10:27; Acts 5:20; Rom.14:19; 15:2; Eph.4:29,25; Mal.2:7)

Will there be a reference bible version? Yes. The study bible is being worked on.
So being able to compare Bible verses to define scriptural meaning, is missing?

This is a "witnessing bible", one that will help us in our ministry. It will also help in personal study.
Contains a mini reasoning book and an Extensive appendix.
So our personal study does not need to make use of a bible "reference"? Apparently, Mr. Pierce feels that a "mini reasoning book" and "appendix" (all consisting of men's doctrine) is sufficient (Rom.3:4; Mark 7:6,7).

"We are sure that all of you will be mindful in making contributions to the world wide publishing work." – Guy Pierce
Where is the scriptural support for this directive?

"Brother" Lett. commanded all, to "Take care of your new bible".
By insinuating that his hearers need this command, is he not heaping unkind, baseless shame on his hearers? Is he not raising the organization's new version higher than other sources of God's Word and above the value of his hearers,
perhaps making them feel unworthy of possessing it, or of questioning it's translation?

Most unusual feature is an outlined summary before each individual book.
Rev.22:18,19
eliminated the long conclusion for Mark 16, the short conclusion as well. They've done away with John 7:53-8:11

Sheol and Hades removal, replaced with "grave".
"Sheol and Abaddon are never full/satisfied, Nor are the eyes of man ever satisfied." (Prov.27:20)
The scriptural "Sheol" is NOT the grave, but refers to the Abyss. Without translating "Sheol" accurately, the meaning of Revelation is beyond reach.

Hebrew word written as "kidneys", will now be translated as "deep emotions".
This liberty goes beyond scriptural interpretation.
Who is the authority that knows that when God's Word says "kidneys", that it means "deep emotions"?
The kidneys filter the blood, and we know the significance of that (Lev.17:11,14).
To "filter" one's soul and remove it's impurities (2Cor.7:1) is to advance in holiness (1Pet.1:16).
This is a good conscience....not "deep emotions".

God's will to be completed by the end of the millennium. Very casually said by Mr. Louche

Who knows what this means, but it may insinuate that the "Thousand Years" of Christ's kingdom started in 1914, (ruling without the completed 144000) and that at the end of that period, the "subduing" of Christ's enemies will be completed.
In truth, Christ's enemies are being subdued since long before 1914 (Luke 10:19,18,17; Matt.28:18; Luke 22:69; Psalm 110:1).
When the last battle, "Armageddon" is finished, the judgment of all, is finished.
Mr. Louche does not understand the kingdom, according to scripture. The symbolic "thousand years" does not run from 1914 - 2914.
When the end comes, this is when 1Cor.15:24,25,26 is fulfilled (1Cor.15:54;  2Cor.5:2; Rom.8:18,19,23).

Help your teenagers stay separate from the world and remain holy. You don't want them to marry outside The Lord when they grow up.

Marrying "in the Lord" is speaking of marrying within the body of Christ. This is not referring to any but the members of that body, the anointed Temple of God. (1Cor.12:27; Rom.12:5; 8:9;  1Cor.6:15,14; Eph.5:6,7;  2Cor.11:2,3,4,5). Paul continued...2Cor.11:6 to confirm his genuine reliance upon Christ within him, and not an alliance with "superfine" men, or any organization. (2Cor.13:6,5)

One would expect that with all the effort and expense that "Witnesses" expend to attend such events, that their leaders would have more to offer them as they face the "end of all things" (1Pet.4:7; Isa.65:13).
Although many inquire of me about my opinion of such events; I am inclined to avoid commenting on them in the future, unless the content of the program contains something significant.

"Trample" - How does it happen?

ADDITION TO "Worship Christ?"
as follows:
----------------------------------------------------------
Jesus is YHWH's representative (John 14:9; 12:45; Col.1:15;  1John 5:20).
Yet Christ, like God, is now physically invisible (John 16:16; John 4:24;  2Cor. 5:16). He is perceived only in spirit, by those whose spirit is in union with him. (1Cor. 6:17; 12:13; John 15:4,5; 17:21,23)

Since the anointed know these things, and God's spirit of truth has been poured out upon them (1John 2:20,27),
how can the prophecy be fulfilled which states that a "man of lawlessness" takes over the anointed "Temple" and suspends their sacred service? (2Thess.2:4;  1Cor.3:16; Dan.11:31)

Men's natural inclination is to follow and obey what they can see
(1Cor.2:14;  1Sam.8:19,21,6,7; Rev.13:8).
This improper worship of impressive "visible" power, was prophesied for our time
(Rev.13:14;  2Thess.2:9).
The leadership and authority given to...and taken by, the "man of lawlessness"
[This identity is depicted within prophecy, in a variety of parables.
It rules over the Chosen ones
       (2Thess.2:4;  1Cor.3:16; Eph.2:22; Rev.13:7; 11:2; Matt.5:13;
        Dan.8:13; Luke 21:24; Isa.63:18; Jer.12:10)],
replaces the worship and subjection which is due Christ,
as the Head of his wife/body/Congregation. [2Cor.11:3,4,20 (Phil.2:10; Eph.1:22; Romans 14:8,9,11 (John 5:22)]

How could this happen?
How could God's Temple of anointed (1Cor.3:16) lose their subjection to Jesus, and transfer that subjection over to a "disgusting thing" (man of lawlessness/wild beast) "standing"/ruling, where is does not belong" (Mark 13:14; Dan.11:31;  2Chron.23:6; Num.3:10;  2Thess.2:4; Mark 13:14) ?

The first step, would be to teach doctrines to the Chosen Ones ("Temple"), which diminish the headship/authority/obeisance, due Christ.
How could God's chosen priests possibly accept such an idea?
Reasonably, diminishing Jesus Christ could only be done
by his lesser comparison to His heavenly Father.
Once he is diminished by this comparison (God deserves worship, Jesus doesn't), that wicked goal begins it's accomplishment.
Can you discern the advantage such a strategy would afford someone seeking to usurp Christ?

If someone then proceeded to declare themselves "Jehovah's representative" (rather than just one of Christ's many brothers), the subconscious conclusion, is that these representatives would be equal to Christ, if not above him. (John 14:6; 10:7,1,10,9)

Now what if that usurping false representative of the heavenly Father
(Rev.2:2;  2Thess.2:2-3;  1John 4:1; Matt.24:24;  1Tim.4:1; Rev.16:13), empowered their own representative army? (John 10:12-13; Dan.8:24; 11:31; Rev.9:1,2,3; 13:15) Then that army (of non-anointed "Gentiles") would not only have the power and false authority to replace Christ (Dan.8:11; Rev.9:7; 13:14,12,15), but it would certainly have in subjection Christ's mere ambassadors (Dan.11:15; 8:11,12,13,17). This is exactly what has happened, hidden in the darkness. This is Satan's final and great machination, designed to draw away the worship of Christ's anointed slaves, to himself.

That "man of lawlessness" (Gentile army belonging to the "fallen star"/steward) did not achieve this position over those of God's anointed Temple priesthood on his own. Those who comprise this "man" were empowered by a fallen anointed identity (Rev.8:10,11; 9:1,2,3,7; 13:11,12,15; Dan.8:11).
The composite "man of lawlessness" (2Thess.2:3) are the Gentile "armed forces" of that unfaithful steward slave (Dan.11:31; 8:11,24; Rev.13:7; 11:2) who empowered them.
That wicked slave takes the worship clearly commanded in scripture that is due Christ,
(by making Christ and his commands... recede),
as they draw their own glory and false doctrines to the forefront,
empowering their own Gentile army to take over the Temple priesthood.
(Eze.44:6-7,8-9;  2Chron.13:9 -pearl-disgustingthing.blogspot.com)

The psychological effect of this photograph, depicts this point:

Look at Christ's face in this WT illustration. Where does this blurring of his identity cause your eye to turn? This is an intentional and clever psychological manipulation.

That "fallen star"/Harlot group of unfaithful (Rev.1:20; 8:10,11; 9:1; Hosea 5:3,4; Jer.3:20,3), leads the collective "man of lawlessness" against God's chosen Temple priesthood (1Pet.2:5,9;  2Thess.2:4; Dan.8:24-25; Rev.13:7; 11:2), so that these Gentiles trample the Temple into subjection for the Harlot/unfaithful steward. This collective Wild Beast is the "muscle" of the Harlot (Rev.17:6; Matt.24:49).
The results?
The priestly service of the Chosen remnant...their worship and obedience due Christ and his teachings, ...has faded into silence (Rev.8:1; Dan.12:11).
This operation of error will continue, until that Organizational army of Gentiles/Wild Beast/"man of lawlessness", finally turns against that unfaithful "harlot" above it.

But this "man of lawlessness" will also be "done away with".
How?
Not by "human hand" (Dan.8:25; Zech.4:6,7)
but by the spirit/"breath" of Christ's mouth (2Thess.2:8; Isa.11:4; Ps.2:9; Jer.23:29; Rev.19:15) through his sealed ones (Rev.2:26,27; Zech.12:3; Dan.2:34; Rev.19:14; 17:14).
These deserve their judgment (Rev.16:5-6,7) for usurping Christ and the will of God.
(Acts 10:42; 17:31; Luke 22:22; John 5:22,27; Phil.2:9,10; Dan.7:14; Matt.28:18; Acts 2:33)

Yet according to God's mercy, there is yet a way out for the wicked steward, if "he" is willing to accept it.....

Great Tribulation -Two phases

A QUESTION I RECEIVED:

Something strange. I've learned that anointed Christians will be sealed on the forehead before the great tribulation. read Revelation 7:3. But one seal on the forehead means approved.

Jesus said the faithful discreet slave should be put on all that he owns, or be thrown out when he comes after the great tribulation. Matthew 24:45-51
Does that mean that the faithful discreet slave is not sealed before the great tribulation, but all other faithful anointed is sealed before the great tribulation. What do you think?
------------------------------

MY REPLY:

What you are actually noticing, is that the Great Tribulation breaks out upon the Chosen Ones, first.

These are the first, to recognize the test before them, and the spiritual war-like condition...
       [not peace and security -(Matt.24:4,5,24,25; Micah 3:5; Jer.6:14,15; 3:3; Eze.13:10,16;  1Thess. 5:3) [Isa.5:5 (Ex.19:12; 20:18) Dan.11:16,45; Rev.11:2) peace-and-security]
...which tribulation, is their true spiritual reality
http://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2015/06/the-greatest-tribulation-why.html
They are first to recognize the idolatrous condition of God's people, their Temple priesthood being trampled down under spiritual Gentiles.... (https://pearl-disgustingthing.blogspot.com) (http://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2013/09/trample-how-does-it-happen.html) (http://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2018/02/who-is-false-prophet-who-gives-breath.html),
....and the initial ones to endure the test of loyalty to God and Truth, which the new perception of their actual spiritual circumstances, (Matt.24:15), invokes their response (Rev.13:8;  2Thess.2:4,3,12)
(Isa.48:10; Zech.13:9; Rev.8:7-12; 12:4; 9:15,18,20;  1Cor.3:13; Rev.6:17; Mal.3:2-3; Luke 18:26-27)
and choice,
to either loyally repent, or to continue inside the climate of  idolatry toward the image of a so-called, spirit-inspired alliance (Rev.13:15; 19:20).

        http://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/search?q=the+harlot+and+her+beast
It is through that test, (and how each Chosen One responds to it), that the unsealed chosen ones are either sealed as slaves of God, Christ, and their mother covenant, New Jerusalem (Rev.14:1; 22:4; 3:12; Gal.4:26,24) (pearl-thewoman.blogspot.com).
[and are given their white robe (Rev.3:5; 6:11; 7:9,13,14; 22:14; 19:8,14; 15:6)].
...Or, they are branded as slaves of other Masters.
You may wish at this point, to see what it means to be sealed on the forehead (Deut.11:18; Rev.13:16).
Jesus illustrated the choice between two Masters (Joel 3:14),
in the parable of the 10 virgins. Five chose to source their lamplight in the receptacle they had from the beginning (Gal.3:3; Rev.3:3)...
and five chose to "buy from those who sell" (Matt.25:10; Rev.13:17;  2Cor.2:17; Isa.55:1-2).
"Buying", requires you to give something up.
If you engage in spiritual commerce not sourced with Christ (Rev.3:18), your forehead is not marked as a loyal slave of God, but a slave to the one whose doctrines guide and direct you (Gal.1:10; Rom.6:16).
(pearl-obeymen.blogspot.com)

Those other Masters chosen by the foolish virgins, include the "mother" Covenant of Death (Rev.17:5; Eze.16:2,44,45; Isa.28:15),
(Gal.4:26,24)
her harlot daughters (Eze.16:44; Rev.17:5; Isa.1:21),
and the Gentile Wild Beast with which, the harlot forms a ruling alliance (Rev.13:16,17,18; 16:13)
The first century Jews in covenant with God, were given the opportunity first, to be of the anointed body of Christ (John 1:11,12,13; Rom.11:28; Acts 13:46). At the end of the Covenant with physical Israel, the unfaithful physical Jews had formed an alliance with physical Gentiles (John 18:35; 19:11,15). They paid for their unfaithfulness, by having their ally turn on them.
But at the end of the New Covenant, it pertains to spiritual Gentiles forming an adulterous alliance with spiritual Jews, causing the Great Tribulation to the faithful.
https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2013/09/trample-how-does-it-happen.html
That harlot will also be turned on, by her paramours (Rev.17:16).
       [Spiritual Jews are the anointed
       (Zech.8:23; John 4:22; Rom.2:28,29; Isa.42:6)
       (Gen.22:18; Gal.3:29; Rev.22:2; Matt.7:20).

Only after all of these Called Ones are sealed by their master of choice, does the Great Tribulation (caused by the adulterous  alliance with the Gentile Beast) break out on the "trees, earth, and earth/land" (Rev.9:4; 7:3; 12:9,12; 20:8) (Isa.56:8; John 10:16).

So when you say, "I've learned that anointed Christians will be sealed on the forehead before the great tribulation"....
this is both true and false.
It is false, in that they are sealed while they themselves are being "tribulated"/sifted/trampled by Gentiles.
It is true, in that these are sealed before the sifting tribulation breaks out upon the "rest" (earth/land/sea/trees/plant/green things).

It should also be recognized, that this "breaking out" of "harm", is, the Great Tribulation
The "144000" are sealed before the outbreak of the Great Tribulation".
Those "unsealed" who DO go through the Great Tribulation ("great crowd"), are sealed after/during, the "breaking out" of that "harm" (abomination causing desolation/Great Tribulation).
Yet that harm does not only break out on the unsealed.
It also breaks out on the "rest"/"earth/land/sea/trees/plant/green things" after the harvest of the anointed wheat is done. The "rest" face the secondary part of that great sifting to choose a master.
(Rev.14:15,16,17,18)
During that time, these secondary elements will also be branded by their masters....sealed as to whose laws they obey (Rom.6:16) and submit their faith/thinking, and actions/power, to (Rev.13:16,7; Gal.1:10;  1Cor.7:23). The great sifting/separating/tribulation, brings the two harvests to a finish.
The first harvest is of the Called and anointed "wheat"/"earth"(--God's "inhabited homeland" John 14:23) (Rev.14:14-16). That is done by Christ, who brings his "wheat" into his storehouse (Matt.13:38; 3:12). He will base that judgment according to what these "branches" have produced as "fruit"/teachings... whether fine, or rotten. The kind of fruit each produces, will depend upon which root they were grafted into (John 15:5,6; Jer.2:21; Deut.32:32,33; Rev.14:18,19).

The second harvest, is of the actual fruit of each vine (teachings and those who took them in) that was produced by these Chosen branches/prophets. If they have taken in fine fruit sourced in Christ through his faithful branches, then they have taken into their hearts, sayings of life. They will be saved from death and harvested as such.
If they have fed from Satan's vine and his branches of "fallen stars" (Ps.140:3; Rev.13:11; Deut.32:33; Rev.16:13-16;  1Tim.4:1)(Jer.23:14,15; Rev.8:10,11; 9:1), partaking of that rotten fruit/wormwood... they will suffer the consequences due to those who love lies (2Thess. 2:9-12).
http://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/search?q=fallen+star+wormwood
If you think about these two separate phases (Rev.7:3)
(breaking out on the unsealed, and then later, on the "rest"),
you will see why this is just and reasonable.
The tribulation segregates those willing to die for truth (Mark 8:35; 13:13; John 16:2), from those who love the lie, become idolaters (Rev.13:8), and prefer Satanic deception (2Thess.2:9-12).
How can the other elements make a choice for truth, if it is not available?
The faithful anointed must be first to awaken and choose to live (and die) for truth,
proven by the testimony they give in the face of death (Rev.12:11,7; 20:4; 6:9;  2Cor.10:3,4,5; Eph.6:12; Rev.11:3; Dan.12:3-4; Rev.20:12).
(pearl-newscrolls.blogspot.com)
That testimony of Truth must first be present and available, by which the "rest" will thereafter, be sealed as either accepting, or rejecting.
(John 13:20; Matt.10:40,41; 25:40,46)
Do you see that those Chosen must decide their side of this battle first?
They do this by their acceptance or rejection of Satan's end-time deception
...The "operation of error", "the lie"...which asserts that the Gentiles should be ruling over God's anointed Temple and trampling them underfoot,
thereby preventing the "remaining ones" of the woman's seed, from becoming sealed as slaves of God and Christ (Rev.3:2; Dan.8:11-12,13,24; Rev.13:7; Dan.11:31). This counterfeit kingdom of the False Prophet and Gentile Idol...
(and their lies -Rev.16:13; 13:11,14;  2Thess.2:4,9,11;  2Tim.3:13)
...acts as a restraint against the arrival of the genuine Kingdom of God, and restrains the necessary sealing of God's chosen rulers as slaves of God and His truth (Deut.11:18; Heb.10:16).
Those who choose faithfulness, must not remain slaves to spiritual Gentiles who teach doctrine from the wicked steward (or Idolize their false "Image", as being directed by God's spirit -Rev.13:15-16; Isa.44:20) (http://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2013/05/mark-of-beast.html) (http://pearl-666.blogspot.com/).
(pearl-restraint.blogspot.com) (What is "Jew" and "Gentile"?)
(Rev.16:13,14,15,16,17;  1Tim.4:1;  2Thess.2:9,11,12; Mark 13:14; Rev.9:7,3; 3:9; 13:4,5,7,8,14,18;  2Thess.2:4; Rev.11:2; Matt.5:13;  2Cor.11:3)
(pearl-disgustingthing.blogspot.com)
(search-results=operation+of+error)

Once the Chosen take their own stand, the sealing of the Chosen Kings (and the harvest of the wheat), is done. The faithful remnant  "come to life" at this time (Rev.20:4,5,6,7,8; John 5:24; 6:47,58; 11:26).
Then the Battle ensues between these messengers of death / lies, and the (messengers of life) /(truth). Both sides present their testimony. Due to exposure to both the truth and the lie; the next phase of the tribulation/sifting/sorting/choosing, occurs for the "rest". In this "valley of decision", it will be determined, who receives life or destruction (Rev.20:5; 8:13; 11:14; 12:12; 11:5; 9:12,18,20,21).
--(Coming to Life)
----(http://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2016/11/who-is-destroyer.html)
                 [NOTE: While being "killed" is naturally viewed as a bad punishment to us;
this is actually the symbolic means of salvation within Revelation
                               (Mark 8:35; Rev.9:18; 11:7; 6:9,11; 12:11; Zech.13:9,8)
It happens to those who do not succumb to the overwhelming climate of idolatry (Rev.13:15,8; 20:4; 11:7)]

When Christ's sealed slaves are working faithfully, (shining their lamps of truth fueled by Holy Spirit);
they are appointed over the care of all Christ's "sheep" during the tribulation.
They are assigned a greater work, with greater supplies (the marriage feast), and with a greater responsibility. Unfortunately, the majority of God's people, reject these final prophets.
(Rev.11:3,7,8,10; John 16:2; Matt.5:11-12; Mark 13:13)

All are sealed during their own battle of the Great Tribulation, which will test every heart dedicated to God, as to it's love of truth or lies (Luke 21:35; Rev.2:4; Jer.5:31; Eze.13:19,22; Isa.28:15;  2Thess.2:9,10,11,12,13,15; Rev.13:3) (Eze.13:4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12)
...first to the as yet unsealed Chosen Ones,
and then on to the "rest" (symbolized by earth/land/trees/green things/sea, previous to gaining life) (Rev.7:3; 9:4; 20:5)
