Armageddon

The Bible itself explains Armageddon.
The idea that it means an execution by God, by means of literal fire, is an idea that comes from man... who are sourcing their understanding by human reasoning, rather than scripture (Jer.23:29; 20:9; Jer.5:14NIV ; Rev.11:5; Matt.10:20).
Armageddon is explained, at Rev.16:13-16.
That battle is also talked about in other verses, which add to our knowledge about that battle (Rev.9:7,9; 20:8; 12:7,17; 13:7; 17:14; 19:19; 13:10; Col.2:8; Luke 21:24).
If you read Rev.16:13-16, you will see that three "demonic spirits"/utterances/teachings... that "look like frogs" are what causes "kings" to gather for that battle (1Tim.4:1).

 1Cor.11:18-19

There are two opposing sides... Satan's deceptive doctrine sourced in the dark Abyss and it's agents, against the enlightening truths of Christ, sourced in scripture. Each warrior king, chooses to align themselves with one of those leaders, based upon the source of their faith and teaching (Joel 3:14;  1Cor.10:21; Rev.16:16).
Armageddon causes the alliance of "Gog and Magog", to "surround" (Luke 21:20) the "camp of the holy ones" (Rev.20:7-9). This results in a great spiritual time of test... the Great Tribulation (Matt.24:3,24-25,4-5,9-11,13,21; Dan.12:1,4)
For a time, the holy ones are overcome and taken captive by the deception (Rev.13:7; 11:2; Dan.8:11-12,17,23-25;  2Thess. 2:8,3-4; Dan.11:36,31-33; Rev.13:10; Luke 21:24; Col.2:8; Dan.9:27,26; Rev.12:15,17) (https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2012/12/earth-swallows-satans-river-rev1216.html)
So, the battle causes those who are lead by deceptive demonic teachings (three frog-like expressions/666), to come up against those who are lead by the truths of Christ... the holy ones... the "called, chosen, and faithful", along with Jesus (Rev.17:14; 19:11,14; Eph.2:6).
It is a spiritual battle (2Cor. 10:3-5; Eph.6:10-17;  1Tim. 6:12)...
...against the powers of deception.
The weapons used, include the truths of Christ... the scriptures and spirit, which is the sword (Rev.2:16; 19:11,15; Heb.4:12; Eph.6:17;  2Thess. 2:8; John20:22).

The Bible itself makes clear, that Armageddon is a spiritual battle, between the liar, Satan (John 8:44;  2Cor. 4:4;  1Tim. 4:1; Rev.16:13-16; 12:9,15)...
...his agents of lying doctrine, and his deceptive teachings...
which battle against the truths of Jesus Christ and all those who preach and defend them (messengers/"angels") (https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/search?q=messenger+angel).
That war has existed throughout the ages (Gen.3:15; Rev.12:17)...
...but it does have a final battle in the time of the end, and that final battle is called, Armageddon.

" Hold on to what you have "

Rev.3:11 reads;
"I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown."

What is it, that we have, which we must hold on to? What is it, that, if we do not hold on to it, will cause us to lose our crown? What is our "crown"?

Please consider these scriptures:
Rev.12:17 "Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and **hold fast their testimony about Jesus.**

Rev.19:10 "And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For **the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of PROPHECY.”**

Rev.2:25 "Nevertheless, hold fast to what you have until I come. 26 And to the one who is victorious and **continues in My work until the end**, I will give authority over the nations. 27He will rule them with an iron scepter and shatter them like pottery—just as I have received authority from My Father."

Hosea 6:5 "Therefore I have shattered them in pieces by the PROPHETS; I have slain them by the words of My mouth; And the judgments on you are like the light that goes forth.

Matt.10:20 "for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you."

Jer.23:29 "Is not My word like FIRE?" declares the LORD, "and like a hammer which shatters a rock to pieces?"

Rev.11:2,5
"And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will PROPHESY for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” 5 If anyone tries to harm them, FIRE comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die."
- - - - - - -
I hope that the foregoing scriptures make clear, that at Rev.3:11;
1. Jesus is speaking to his prophets
2. What they must "hold on" to, is their testimony about the message of Jesus... their prophesying about the events to soon unfold, which work is the will of Jesus for them to do.
3. The final prophets (and "woman's seed) are under attack by Satan.
4. Those who continue in their work of prophesying, will "smash" and consume by fire, their enemies (Those who seek to harm these prophets, and who defy their prophetic message). That smashing hammer and fire, IS, God's Words of prophetic truth, from Jesus, and by spirit.
6. Those prophets who tire out before the end and arrival of Jesus, and who let go of their assigned work, will lose their crown.
7. The "crown", given to those prophets who persevere to the end... is the life eternal, which God has promised, to those who love Him.
James 1:12 reads;
"12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him."

Who Destroys God's Temple?

John2:19-- "Jesus answered, “Tear down this temple, and I will raise it up in three days.” Therefore the Jews said, “This temple took forty-six years to build, and will you raise it up in three days?”".
I was learning which scriptures go with the phrase, "Tear down this Temple". First the question came, "Who was Jesus talking to, and crediting with, tearing down the Temple in Jerusalem?" We know that it was torn down by the Gentile Romans in 70 CE, but is that the whole picture, of who was responsible for tearing it down?
After all, we know that God's true spiritual Temple today, is also torn down, with all it's living stones... scattered (during the Great Tribulation). We know that the reason why God allows this trampling to happen, is to discipline those who are acting in unfaithfulness, and so, they themselves are responsible for their own Temple being brought to the condition of, "not a stone upon a stone" (Matt.5:13; Rev.11:2).
Was that also the case, with who was responsible for tearing down the literal Temple in Jerusalem?
The scripture that came to me, was Prov.14:1. There is reads;
"The wise woman builds up her house,
but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down."
To go with that, is Matt.7:24-27; Prov.9:1; Isa.65:22
Matt.7:24-27:
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
---
The religious leaders were faced with the option of conforming their temple and it's worship on Christ, or to reject the arrival of God's chosen cornerstone and continue to rest the Temple on what, like shifting sand, was passing away. *It was they, who made the choice* to hold on to what was passing away, rather than the will of God, which was to believe in the one whom He sent forth.
---
Prov.9:1:
"Wisdom has built her house;
she has set up its seven pillars."
The "seven pillars" of our Mother, "Wisdom", are interpreted by Rev.3:12 and Rev.1:20
Her house is the spiritual Temple of God in heaven. It's kings and priests will inherit their Temple, forever. "Never again will they leave it" (Rev.3:12). It will never be torn down, because they chose to build it on the rock and cornerstone of their father, and their mother of wisdom. Their house, is built up by their own hands, and will never be torn down.
---
Isa.65:22:
"No longer will they *build houses* and others live in them,
or plant and others eat.
For as the days of a tree,
so will be the days of my people;
*my chosen ones will long enjoy
the work of their hands.*
---
"The wise woman builds up her house,
but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down." (Prov.14:1)
---
So again we see the choice, to use one's hands to build up our Temple of worship upon the approved foundation, and enjoy that work of our hands...
or, to tear down with our own hands, our house and Temple of worship, by basing it on earthly treasures.
1Cor.3:16-17
It was the Jewish leader themselves, who tore down their own house, by their rejection of the cornerstone, and New Jerusalem above... the mother of WIsdom.
It was those leaders whom Jesus was addressing, at John 2:19.
God would not have allowed the Temple of the faithful to be torn down by Gentiles (either then, or now), if they had sought out the true foundation, and had been loyal to it. God will have a Temple to praise Him, whether men choose to be faithful or not...
"Tear down this Temple, and I will raise it up in three days." (John 2:19)
We too have the choice before us, as do the leaders of the WT. Upon which foundation, do they choose to build their house?
If it is not based upon the cornerstone, the 12 foundation stones, and all the living stones of God's priesthood of saints (1Pet.2:5,9)...
then it will collapse and be torn down, by their own doing.
Matt.23:7 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 38 Look, your house is left to you desolated."
[For those of you who may believe that the Temple and Body being raised at John2:19, was Jesus literal body of flesh... please consider the scriptures in this article: (https://pearl-raiseitup.blogspot.com)]
Note: Jesus raises up the new Temple (John2:19).
Jesus did not raise up his Body of flesh. God did. (Acts2:32; Rom.10:7; 8:11)
(Zech.4:8-9; Eph.2:20-22,10; 1Pet.2:5; Rev.1:5-6; 5:9-10)

Service

How do the scriptures speak of what we do for/give to, God? (Prov.19:17).
Matt.6:3 "But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing".
No distinction is made there, about the giving being material or spiritual. How does that compare to the "buying and selling" of spiritual food, in exchange for one's obedient works and conformation to the organization's "arrangements" and "theocratic orderliness"? (Isa.55:1-2; John6:27; Rev.3:18; 13:17; Isa.28:10;)
How does Matt.6:3, compare to the list of the names of the pioneers, posted on the bulletin board?... or the requisites for "moving up" the ladder within the hierarchy of the organization?
James2: "2 My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. 2 For if a man wearing a gold ring and fine clothing comes into your assembly, and a poor man in shabby clothing also comes in, 3 and if you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say, “You sit here in a good place,” while you say to the poor man, “You stand over there,” or, “Sit down at my feet,” 4 have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?"
Are we to think that this principle applies only in a physical way, and not in a spiritual way also? If causing distinctions is evil over such mundane things as clothing... would not causing distinctions over a showy display of one's devotion to God, be all the more evil? (See Matt.6:5).
When a Circuit Overseer visits a congregation, there are "special meetings" for pioneers. Attendance at those meetings, is considered a "privilege". Yes... though the information discussed could benefit any so-called "publisher"... such distinctions (including the "Pioneer Book" and "Pioneer Service School"), are among the perks, which those who submit to this man-made system of spiritual class distinction, are rewarded with. But as Jesus said... those who seek the approval of man rather than of God, are "having their reward in full" (John5:44; Matt.6:5).
Mark12: "41 And Jesus sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums. 42 And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. 43 And he called his disciples to him and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. 44 For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”
Does Jesus and his Father look at how many hours of field service are on each one's service report? Do They make appraisals, according to how men make judgments and distinctions? (See Isa.55:8-9)
In contrast to the evil and unkind judgments made by those who are the wicked,
God can read the heart, which none of the wicked may do.
Clearly, God sees the devotion, love, and loyalty toward God and neighbor, that each of us feels and expresses, according to our own ability and capacity. Clearly, we are not judged by God on the physical basis of what can be measured (or recorded and reported), by men. Such a wicked religious system is a worldly travesty of worship, and according to God's Word, is not of God.
Frankly stated, it is no one's business but our own, what gifts we dedicate to our heavenly Father. Jesus said that what we have received free, we freely give. No human agent should reach into that sacrifice for God, to impose a spiritual tax or tariff, which is exactly what the many arrangements of the organization, do impose.
Otherwise... if we subject ourselves to become slaves to a spiritual commerce set up by men, we become slaves, to men. The spiritual devastation which results, was expressed by apostle Paul...
"Is it, in fact, men I am now trying to persuade or God? Or am I seeking to please men? If I were yet pleasing men, *I would not be Christ’s slave.*" (Gal.1:10).
We learn from God's own Word, about the sacrifices that He is pleased with.
Three scriptures come to mind... 2Cor.9:7-13; 8:11-12; Philemon 1:14.
They contain the lesson that our gift is decided in our own heart, between us and God alone. No compulsion should be felt, but our gift is rooted in love and joy. God then blesses our charitable work, by supplying all we need to continue in it, while we also reap abundant blessing for ourselves. Through such a relationship with God's truth and the life that results, all, are refreshed, sustained, and built up. There is no sense of burden, comparison, competition, or failure. Such things come from the wicked one, and those who assist Satan to shackle men with a bondage to Idols.
Rules, standards, human expectations, and counting, do not serve the will, truth, or purpose of God (Matt.15:9; Mark7:13).
Those things only serve the unlawful, worldly power and desires, of men, and the purpose of Satan.
"You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John8:32)

How can we obey the Bible's command to gather, after leaving the "Watchtower"?

You may recall prophecies about the return of Christ, where he gathers people "from the 4 winds, from one extremity of the heavens to the other extremity" (Matt.24:31). Other prophecies tell us that those "leaving the city" will be invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb (Matt.22:8-10; Rev.19:9NIV ).
We are given the idea, that there will be a gathering from all over, collecting together those who might accept an invitation to spiritual food. Where that food is located, is where those with insight, will gather (Luke17:37NKJV ; Rev.11:7,3,9).
Prophecy also tells us, that an urgent need will arise, to flee a city (Rev.18:4; Mark13:14; Luke17:26-28,29-31,32-34,35-37).

A similar situation occurred in the first century, before the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans, in 70CE. Christians who obeyed Jesus' warning, did flee to the "Judean Hills/wilderness"
(Dan.11:31-33; Matt.24:15-16; Eze.36:8; John15:16; Matt.7:20)
(Dan.11:33; Rev.13:7,10; Col.2:8).
There was no guarantee that those fleeing Jerusalem would find those of like-faith, collected into a cohesive, organized, comfortable group. Yet they still obeyed the command to flee, and despite being scattered, they were fed by those whom Christ assigned to feed them (see Acts8:1,4; James1:1; 1Pet.1:1; Rev.1:9-11)
Today, we have another fulfillment of the end of a covenant, and the harvest and segregation of both the good/faithful/"wheat", and disobedient/"weeds"/"chaff", based upon one's regard for that divine covenant. At each covenant's conclusion, there comes a destruction of those who were unfaithful to it.
We too, must flee the unfaithful "City" (Zech.8:3; Isa.1:21; Rev.17:1).
We too, discern a "disgusting thing/abomination, standing in the holy place/standing where it does not belong, which is causing desolation" to God's faithful nation (Matt.24:15; Mark13:13-14; 2Thess.2:4; Rev.11:2; 13:4,7-8).
We too, must Flee the empire of the unfaithful (Rev.18:4; Jer.51:6; Isa.48:20; Matt.24:14; Ps.68:11) and go to the mountains of Israel for sustenance (Eze.36:8; Matt.5:14).

Despite our also being scattered, we can communicate by means of the internet. This offers not only the written words of our brethren, but also the ability to video chat, to see and hear members of our family of faith. We are fully able to heed Heb.10:24-25, by giving comfort and encouragement, sharing our excitement about, and insights into, what we are learning, and even working together in this final ministry. (Matt.22:8-10; Rev.22:17; Matt.10:23).

"By this ( love among yourselves ), all will know that you are truly my disciples"

When Jesus said that his disciples could be identified by their love of one another, the point he was making, is greater than what has yet been realized.
Rom.8:19 reads; "19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed."
Matt.5:48 states that the sons of God, imitate God's perfection in His love, just as Jesus Christ reflected that love through the sacrifice of his life (Matt.5:48; 1John4:8; Eph.5:1; John15:13; 10:11).
We are to love one another, to that same extent (John15:12; 1John3:16).
-- After the scriptures teach us what kind of love the genuine and faithful disciples of Christ will display toward their brothers... they also teach us the kind of hatred that is displayed by the unfaithful chosen, against their brothers.
If we use these lessons to distinguish the faithful from the unfaithful... we then can have revealed to us... the sons of God (Rom.8:19).
How then, do the scriptures expose, those who were genuinely chosen by God, but prove unfaithful and unloving? For we are assuredly told, that the love of greater number ("two thirds" in Revelation)... cools off (Matt.24:12; Rev.2:4; 2Cor.11:4; 1Tim.4:1; Rev.16:13-14; Matt.24:24-25).

This is not a cooling of love out in Satan's secular world, but is a turning away from Christ's command to sacrificially love our anointed BROTHERS (1John4:20-21,16; Rom.12:5; Col.1:18; 2:19-20; Eph.2:2; 2Thess.2:1-3; Rev.2:4-5; Luke16:3,1-2)
Matt.25:42-45
Since the scriptures foretell this falling away from Christ and the loss of love in the body of Christ which results; Do the scriptures also reveal the details of who, from among the anointed chosen, loses their love?

Yes, they do.
Let us consider the pattern of unloving behavior that Jesus disclosed to us, and who it is, who practices that pattern of disobedience, among the brothers of Christ......
Luke12: "42 The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master of the household, puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? 45 But suppose the servant says to himself, ‘My master is taking a long time in coming,’ and **he then begins to beat his fellow servants, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk."**
Matt.24: "48 But suppose that servant is wicked and says in his heart, ‘My master is staying away, longer than I expected.’ 49 And he begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. 50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of (Luke19:44; Rev.16:15; John10:10; Matt.24:43). 51 He will cut him to pieces (Hosea 6:5; Rev.2:26-27) and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

First of all, we should establish that the master Christ's household, are genuine anointed (Eph.2:19-22; 3:17; 1Pet.2:4-5; Heb.3:6)
Next, to recognize that Jesus appoints a steward/shepherd to the household sheep of each era, to be the channel of spiritual food to the master's household (Luke12:42; Rev.11:3; John21:17; 1Thess.5:12-13; Heb.13:17; Rev.22:1-2; Matt.7:20; Rev.1:20; Phil.2:15; Dan.12:3,10; Rev.22:6; Mal.3:1-3)
Such stewards are compared to stars/burning lamplight/messenger-angels... to their own lampstand/congregation/household (Rev.1:20).
Those appointed stewards, can prove diligent, obedient, refreshing, loving, and faithful,
or unfaithful, wicked, drunk, disloyal, deceptive, spiritually lethal, and unloving (1John3:10-12) (Rev.1:20; 8:10-11; 9:1-3,10; 13:11,15; 11:3,7; John16:2).
The wicked stewards, battle with the faithful ones (2Cor.11:11-15; 10:3-5; Eph.6:12-13; Rev.16:13-16; 17:14; 2Thess.2:1-3,9-13; 1Tim.4:1).
Each hearer must decide, which "congregation"/lampstand they will belong to, based upon whose spiritual food, and which steward/prophet, they accept.
The wicked steward (as described at Luke12:45 and Matt.24:48-49 above), also are described as "eating and drinking with drunkards" as well as getting drunk themselves (Luke12:45; Rev.17:6; 18:24; Matt.23:31-39; 1John3:12,15-16).
That alliance with other drunkards, is depicted within many scriptures... (Matt.24:49; Dan.2:33; Rev.13:1,11,15; 17:3)
...as well as how that alliance works against/"beats", the faithful (Rev.13:15,7; 11:7; John16:2; Mark8:35; Col.2:8; Rev.13:10; Luke21:24).
)

The events now taking place between the anointed with power (through an alliance with the Gentile Beast)
... and those whose power has been "trampled down" and "brought to nothing"... (Dan.8:9-13; 2Thess.2:4; Dan.11:31-36; Mark13:13-14; Rev.11:2; 13:7,10; Luke21:24),
(https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2013/09/trample-how-does-it-happen.html)
...did not take God and Jesus by surprise. They prophesied these developments to us, thousands of years in advance. It is only a matter of recognition on our own part, whether or not we perceive and understand, what is now taking place in prophetic detail (Matt.24:15-16; Mark13:13-14), within God's household of priests,
and the unloving steward, now using a Beast, to "beat" his fellows.

If we are able to discern who it is, that is feeding the household of Christ with poisoned water/rotten fruit that perishes... who has also formed an alliance with a beastly force that has been imbued by that false prophet/wicked steward (Rev.19:20), with an image of being spirit-directed (Rev.13:15; John20:22), enabling it to replace and trample down without mercy or love, that wicked steward's fellow priests and brothers...
...then truly, you have discerned....

--who it is that lovingly gives their life for their brothers (genuine disciples of Christ),
--who it is that murders their brother,
and also,
--who the loving sons of God really are, whom God promised would be revealed, at Rom.8:19! (Mal.3:18; Isa.8:18)
