The flood that will "sweep them all away" (Matt.24:39) comes from Satan's mouth (Rev.12:15; John8:44) through the False Prophet and Wild Beast (Rev.16:13,12; 13:11,2,5,14; 2Thess.2:9).
All swallow that flood and believe Satan's lying deceptions (Rev.12:16,9,12; 13:8,4,5,6) that lead to idolatry...including the Holy Ones (Rev.13:7; Eze.22:30; Amos 8:2,3; Rev.8:1). This is why they must repent in sackcloth (Joel 1:13; Rev.11:3). Those who do, will be cleansed (Mal.3:2,3; Dan.12:10,3) and made to prophesy truth (Rev.11:3; Dan.12:3; Rev.1:20). They must "die" for that decision and faithfulness (Rev.12:11; 6:9; 20:4; Mark 8:35). Though searching everywhere for truth (during the end-time spiritual famine), few will accept it as such (Dan.12:4; Amos 8:12,11; 2Tim.3:7; Luke13:23,24; Matt.7:14).
