Dear Pearl,
I have a question about Isa 34:15,16,17. Some translation
depict an owl in verse 15 who is making her nest; there also are hawks/falcons
gathering. Is there a relationship to Luke 17:37 here? In vs 16 and 17 (Isa.34:16,17), it
appears to be the gathering of the Body of Christ, each place determined by
His Spirit. What do you think?

What you ask has so many references to many unfolding events in the time of the end. It is hard to set up a boundary, for what to discuss and what to leave for another time. I feel utterly incapable of explaining these things which I see. All truth is related to all other truth. Much of it is hard to explain (John16:12; Heb.5:11).
Prayer and effort will be needed on both our parts.
Many scriptures and subjects directly relate to your question. Some clusters of cited scriptures will delve into related thoughts, without my mentioning them in my own comments.

All kinds of literal owls and hawks/falcons, were decreed by God as being "unclean" (Deut.14:12,13,14,15,16,17; Lev.11:16,17,18; 20:25).
In order to grasp the place and identities being spoken about at Isa.34:15,16,17;
it helps to consider the context of those verses, the scriptural symbolism of the identities,
and the prophetic events which are referred to in related scriptures.
If you go back two verses in the context (Isa34:13) (where it also refers to these "owls"),
do you see that "HER" strongholds and citadels will be overrun with nettles and brambles (thorns and thistles) while SHE becomes a home and haunt for the jackals and owls? Those owls are the same as the owls just two verses later, at Isa.34:15.
Now please consider the relationship between Isa.34:13 and Rev.18:2...
"With a mighty voice he shouted:
‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’
SHE has become a dwelling for demons
and a haunt for every impure spirit,

These "unclean and detestable animals" and "birds" are not those of God's literal creation (Gen.1:21).

All these previous considerations may help to clarify, why the Man of Lawlessness is also termed the Son of "Destruction" (2Thess.2:3; Rev.9:11).
It also clarifies who the destroyer is (Isa.33:1) and what he aims to do to his followers (Isa.14:20; John10:10; 8:44), under his wife-like covenant of death (Isa.28:15).
God's justice, abandons the unfaithful, to him (Matt.23:38,37,33; Luke19:41,43,44). God allows the destruction of the unfaithful who had been graced with His spirit and favor (Rev.2:21,22,23; Heb.6:4,5,6,8; John15:6).
It would be good to read the entire chapter of Isa.34 to get the whole context.
Perhaps when you notice all it's parallels to Revelation, and the fall of "Babylon", you will recognize who the wild animals and unclean birds really are.

Does this relate to Luke17:37?
The Greek word for the birds in Luke17:37 is the same word as
Rev.12:14. It is not the same type of bird, written in Isa.34:15. According to Rev.12:6, her wings take her to a place to be fed, for "1,260 days".
The two witnesses (Rev.11:3) nurture the woman with eagle's wings. The woman covenant is being fed by the two witnesses, who are "slain" (Rev.11:7; Job 39:27,30; Luke17:37).
Luke 17:37, literally reads (according to the Greek interlinear):
"And they answered and said
unto him, Where, Lord? And
he said unto them,
Wheresoever the body [is],
thither will the eagles be
gathered together."
("Eagle" or "Vulture"?)
Matt.24:28 clarifies, that the "body" is a corpse. The word can also be plural, for those who were slain (Job 39:27,30; Rom.6:5; 2Cor.4:10; Mark8:35; Rev.11:7; 6:9,11).
Those capable of "seeing" the slain "two witnesses", also come to recognize, that they ascend into the clouds (Rev.11:11,12).
This is a joining with the faithful witnesses of heaven (Matt.26:64; Jude1:14; Heb.12:1; 1Thess.3:13; Matt.25:31). Their work is shown up for what it is (1Cor.3:13,14; 4:5; Matt.16:27; 2Thess.1:7,10), and their reward becomes evident due to it's substance (John7:18; 16:13,14,15; 14:17; Rev.1:7; Luke21:27,28) and what befalls them in fulfillment of prophecy (Rev.1:1; 10:7; 22:6,12).

Can you see that the mother 'covenant of death' has a place prepared for her?
It is the desolated realm of the hearts of the dead, where all her demonic creatures dwell (Rev.18:2; Isa.34:15).
"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. So you, too, outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness." (Matt.23:27,28)
This is what her realm looks like when one is in the spirit. Yet under Satan's guise, it appears as the opposite in the physical realm. (2Cor.11:13,14,15; Isa.5:20).

Perhaps when you notice all it's parallels to Revelation, and the fall of "Babylon", you will recognize who the wild animals and unclean birds really are.

Does this relate to Luke17:37?
The Greek word for the birds in Luke17:37 is the same word as
Rev.12:14. It is not the same type of bird, written in Isa.34:15. According to Rev.12:6, her wings take her to a place to be fed, for "1,260 days".
The two witnesses (Rev.11:3) nurture the woman with eagle's wings. The woman covenant is being fed by the two witnesses, who are "slain" (Rev.11:7; Job 39:27,30; Luke17:37).
Luke 17:37, literally reads (according to the Greek interlinear):
"And they answered and said
unto him, Where, Lord? And
he said unto them,
Wheresoever the body [is],
thither will the eagles be
gathered together."
("Eagle" or "Vulture"?)
Matt.24:28 clarifies, that the "body" is a corpse. The word can also be plural, for those who were slain (Job 39:27,30; Rom.6:5; 2Cor.4:10; Mark8:35; Rev.11:7; 6:9,11).
Those capable of "seeing" the slain "two witnesses", also come to recognize, that they ascend into the clouds (Rev.11:11,12).
