"5 Months" / "Elijah"

This post is written as a continuation....
a Conclusion to the post of Sept.6, 2013,
located here: "Tails"-"Stingers"-"Scorpions" - Rev.9:10.
It is lengthy, so I suggest that a section can be read at a time.
Please do not neglect reading the scriptures.

CONCLUSION:

It has already been discussed, both by the "Watchtower" organization,
and within the article "Revelation 9", that
"five months" is the life-span of the literal locust.
(See "Revelation Climax" Book; page 146; par.16)
Rev.9:10 's "five months" is then interpreted as meaning that the "Locust-Scorpions" will torment the unsealed for the "Locust Scorpion's" entire lifespan.
I will return to discussing this particular interpretation at the end of this post. But first, I will introduce additional scriptural information about the interpretation of this symbol of "five months".

For the most accurate interpretation of Revelation, we must let ourselves be completely guided by God's Word (Gen.40:8; Dan.2:47; John16:13; 7:16,17). By this means, our "eye"/lamplight, remains "simple" and bright, based upon the sound instruction of Christ (Matt.7:24; Luke11:34; Ps.119:105). To divert from this, means spiritual darkness (1Tim.6:3,4; 1:3).
For any symbol used in Revelation, we must search scripture for the Bible's own definition of a term, as if we were digging for treasures (Prov.2:1,2,3,4,5,6; 12:24; 1Tim.4:13,15; Matt.13:44; Prov.23:23; Rev.3:18). Those not so inclined will lose their calling (Matt.13:12; Luke16:3; Matt.25:26; Rev.3:2).

Not all connections between a term and it's scriptural definition are obvious. The Bible's own explanation of a symbolic term, may require perceptive discernment (Matt.11:15; Rev.17:9; 13:18) and Holy Spirit to decipher (John16:13; 14:17,26). Such is the case with understanding the meaning behind "five months".
The only other places in the Bible that I know of, where "five months" is mentioned, (besides Rev.9:10) is where God's Word will afford us our interpretation.
We find those clues, at Luke1:24 and Gen.7:24.

We must first see what Luke1:24 and Rev.9:10 hold in common.

While the men are enduring their tribulation and captive torment at the hands of the "Locust-Scorpions", they are as yet "unsealed" (Nahum 3:16; Amos 7:1; Joel 2:25, 2,10-11,13,17; Rev.9:3-4) (Rev.7:3; 9:4) (LINK). This is previous to their release/spiritual re-birth/seal (Eze.34:27; Rev.9:14; John8:32; Isa.61:1), as a new creation (2Cor.5:17; Gal.6:15; John3:5).
That spiritual birth is through a mother covenant in heaven (Gal.4:26) (and through those sealed into "her"), who shares in this tribulation, until her unsealed "son" is completely born/sealed (Rev.12:1,2,5; John16:21,22,20).

----THE SPIRIT AND POWER OF ELIJAH----
                       HIS PURPOSE

The son of Elizabeth was prophesied to have "the spirit and power of" an "Elijah" Herald...
chosen to "prepare the way before the Lord's" arrival to God's physical Temple in literal Jerusalem, to return the repentant among Israel, to their God (Luke1:13,16,17; Matt.17:10,12; Matt.11:9,10,14,15)
(Elijah turns the hearts).

The son of symbolic "Sarah"/Jerusalem above (Gal.4:22,24,26,28; Rev.12:1,2,5; 2:26,27), is promised a reign with Christ (Gal.4:28; 3:29; Gen.22:17,18). This "seed" who inherit the promises given to Abraham, are "trees of life" that will bring "blessing to all the Nations"... (Gen.22:18; Rev.22:2,3), both now... (Matt.7:16,17,20; John15:8; Matt.13:12; John15:2; Matt.7:19,21) and in the eternal Kingdom to come (Matt.25:23; Luke16:10) (Isa.9:7; Dan.2:44; 7:14,18,22,27; Rev.21:2,3,4,5).

The final remnant of this chosen group also produces an "Elijah" Herald...
(Dan.12:1,2,3,4,9,10; Rev.11:3,4,5; Zech.4:2,3,11,12,14; Luke9:29,30,32; Mark9:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,12; Matt.17:11; Acts1:6).
He is chosen to prepare the way before the Lord's" arrival to God's spiritual Temple...
and to call symbolic "Jerusalem" to return to their God. (Matt.25:6; Rev.9:13,14; 14:7; 16:12; 19:7,8,14; 17:14; Isa.40:3; Mal.3:1,2,3,7; 1Cor.3:16; 1Pet.2:5,9; 4:17; Luke21:36,22,24; Rev.13:10,7; Dan.7:21,25; 8:24; 9:11,16,18,19; Rev.8:3,4)

---HIDDEN FOR FIVE MONTHS---

Previous to that birth, both mothers (Elizabeth and heavenly "Sarah") and sons (John and "Elijah") are secluded away/hidden from view... for a time...
for "five months".
(This hidden condition was also the case with the newborn Moses -Ex.2:1,2,3 and with Jesus -Matt.2:13)

You may note that shortly after this five month period of Elizabeth ends, confirmation comes concerning the arrival of the Christ (Luke1:26,27,31).
(Luke1:57; Rev.12:5)
Upon the circumcision of this chosen Herald, John, (Luke1:59,60,63,64), Zechariah publicly decrees the assigned name and role of his son, his speaking ability returns, and he is made able to prophesy (Luke1:67-80 -click on to read). That circumcision/cleansing, happens to the final Elijah as well (Rom.2:28,29; Mal.3:3; Rev.3:18).

----SILENT FATHERS----

It is significant that throughout the incubation of the Herald prophet John; his father Zechariah, is silent. This also happens with the final Herald, who also arrives in the spirit and power of Elijah. (Luke1:17,20; Matt.17:11)
Who is the father of this final prophet, who "restores all things"?
Jesus himself becomes the life-giving father to this anointed prophet (Isa.8:17,18; Heb.2:12,13,14; Isa.9:6; John5:21; 6:57; Ps.45:16; 1Cor.15:45; Rom.8:2; Col.3:4; Phil.3:21).
Jesus causes these "firstborn sons" to rise first (John5:28; Rev.20:6; James1:18; Rev.14:4), bestowing upon them their immortal spirit lives (1Cor.15:53,54; Rom.8:13,14).

How is it then, that this "father" of the final "Elijah" prophet, becomes silent until this "son" is born?
Prophecy tells us.

---THE SOURCE OF TRUTH AND LIGHT----

The light of spiritual truth comes from the face of Christ (John1:4). This is why his face, is compared to the sun (Matt.17:2; Rev.1:16; 2Cor.4:6; Rev.22:16; Luke1:78; Acts3:20). He is the source of all light for this earth.
Yet, for a time, that light is withdrawn (John11:9; 9:4,5; 12:35). During that time, priestly declarations of truth from Christ, become silent (Rev.8:1; Heb.13:15; Dan.8:11; 11:31; 12:11).
Why?
Because his priestly slaves are no longer serving him, while they are subservient to the Wild Beast and undergoing trampling by it's agents (Rev.13:7; 11:2; Dan.7:21,25; 8:24; 9:11).
These priestly "stars" of heaven have been thrown down and trampled (Rev.12:4; Dan.8:10). During this hidden period they fail to shed their light (Joel3:15; 2:10; Eze.32:7; Mark13:25; Rev.6:12,13; Matt.24:29; 5:14,16). You may have noted, that during this same period of darkened stars...
the sun also is darkened.
This returns us to the silence of the face of Christ, previous to his sealed sons coming forth from the womb of the dawn (Hosea13:13; Job 33:24,28; Ps.110:3,5; Isa.60:1,2,3,20; 17:14; 2Pet.1:19; Luke1:78; Rev.2:26,28,29; 22:16).

By the association of "five months" at Rev.9:10 and Luke1:24; we see a correlation being drawn between John the Baptist and the final Heralds.
The final Elijah belongs to the heavenly "woman"/New Covenant, with Christ as his "father".
He is a Herald... sent by God to prepare for the final arrival of Christ to his anointed Temple, and to "restore all things" (Mal.4:1,2,3,5,6; 3:1; 1Cor.3:16; Eph.2:20,21,22; Rev.22:3).
(Elijah turns the hearts)

Spiritual Jerusalem NEEDS to be restored. After being "trampled" "for seven times";...she lies in ruins. Her "walls" needs to be rebuilt (Dan.9:24,25; 8:13,14; Rev.11:2; Luke21:24,25,17,18,19) as prophetically depicted in Nehemiah chapter 2.

Now for a comparison of Rev.9:10 to Gen.7:24 and Gen.8:3

A Jewish Lunar month spans 30 days.
"5 months" is equal to (5X30=150) 150 days.
These two terms are equal.
Like John, who was "hidden" for 5 months;
the "earth" is hidden in darkness under a constant deluge of the "floodwaters"
(Ps.66:12; Isa.51:23; 57:20; Dan.9:26; Nahum1:8; Jer.51:42), for 150 days...
and after ten months, the "tops of the mountains" became visible (Gen.8:5; Eze.29:1,2; Isa.28:18,19; Eze.17:23; 36:8; Ps.72:16).

----FIVE MONTH LIFESPAN----

Regarding the interpretation of "five months" as referring to the lifespan of the locusts...
please consider that the moment at which a Chosen One breaks off their subjection to these "Locust-Scorpions"; those tormentors lose their battle/power; and by the righteous victory of the Chosen One, those tormentors are judged / condemned.
When the torment ends and the released Chosen One is sealed/born...those "Locust-Scorpions" are then considered by God as spiritually dead...
hence their lifespan concludes.

While a Chosen One is sinning by means of their subjection to men/Locust-scorpions/Wild Beast/Organization...
(instead of to God)
this voluntary idolatry justifies the torment of the Locust-Scorpions (according to divine justice).
When a captive chosen One repents, is set free, and becomes sealed...
the unrepentant agents of Satanic torment (Locust-Scorpions)
lose their lives in God's eyes. The "five month" period they were "granted" to torment the "unsealed", expires.
Rev.9:10
These are not literal locusts, but men... "elders"... counterfeit Temple priests serving the "fallen star", "Wormwood"/False Prophet,
right in among the genuine priests (2Thess.2:4; Matt.24:15).
pearl-disgustingthing.blogspot.com
In reality, their lifespan should be 70-80 years (Ps.90:10).
But because of their choice to fulfill this role in prophecy; their spiritual lives are cut short, as if they were mere repulsive insects, which comprise a loathsome plague.
