When to Flee / Peace

A QUESTION:

Good morning sister D

I trust you are well in these trying times. We sure have not spoken in a long time, but I am aware of what you and Obe are going through. May God grant you the wisdom and will necessary for you to endure, you and everyone that is fighting for truth.

I have attached next year's circuit assembly program,  it is about 'peace' I wonder if this in another prophecy being fulfilled.  The organization is sure changing,  they are putting most of their publications on their website,  even the Kindom Ministry,  it is no longer intended for baptized witnesses. I can now see what you meant when you said the emphasis on JW.ORG will not have the desired outcome.

The survey that you put up about the instructions from the GB is spot on, almost all JW members will do everything for them, even 'kill'. Blatant idolatry,  but don't dare say it to their faces.

Please help out on these two scriptures: Rev 18:4 and Luke 21:20-21. When exactly are we to flee/get out of her, are these verses about two different occasions or one?

Well on a lighter note, family is doing well. My wife does show interest at times, ongoing mission to get her to open her eyes and our son is growing up so much

Hope to hear from you soon

Love
Modise

MY REPLY

Hello Modise,
I am happy to imagine you enjoying the many blessings of fatherhood. Yes, I do remember now your question. It is good you sent it to me again, through this site. My present circumstances are very trying, and I have grown quite forgetful. In prayer, I will do my best to reply to you now.

I see many topics within your letter. The one that stands out to me, is the one about when to flee (and your scriptures cited). Yet your subject is "peace", and a recent campaign of the WT and it's possible association to prophecy.
Perceiving whatever questions I am able to, I will reply to each.

I am not aware of what content will be taught at the circuit assembly, under the subject of "Peace". If I knew what their assertions are going to be, perhaps then I could respond with scriptural comments as a comparison.
Having been a "Jehovah's Witness" for 35 years though, I am familiar with the WT's assertion that true peace with God is attained through an association and subjection to the WT hierarchy; and that peace with God is not possible otherwise, despite God's own assurance
(James 4:8; 1:5; Luke 11:9-13; Prov.2 <Link).

PEACE

Regarding these two assertions, the scriptures could be explored to discover that peace with God is through Christ, and his body of 144,000.....
Eph.2:13,14 reads;
"13 But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall".
Although this is speaking of the peace Christ brought between Jews and Gentiles...by making them all spiritual Jews, one family through their faith (Gal.3:28,29; 6:15,16; 1Thess.5:4,5; Rom.12:5; Eph.4:25,13; 2:15; 1Cor.12:13)...
Christ is still the basis of unity and peace, among all his true followers (Eph.4:3,4,5; John14:27; 16:33; Isa.9:6; Acts10:36; 2Pet.1:2; Col.3:11,15; 1:20; 1Cor.1:3; Rom.1:7; 5:1).
The anointed body of Christ, his Bride, offer the living teachings of Christ to yet others (Isa.52:7; John8:31; 7:38; Rev.22:17; 1Cor.4:1; Rev.5:10; Mal.2:7; Matt.5:9; Phil.4:9; 1Pet.1:2). An accurate understanding of scripture, and the prayer to God by the righteous, brings them comfort and peace (Phil.4:6,7; Rom.14:17; 15:13; 1Cor.14:33; 2Cor.13:11; 1Pet.5:14).
The power of the holy spirit to provide peace through Christ, happened among all these Bible examples, without dependence upon the WT Corporation. It would have us believe that we must become their obedient slaves to have peace with God.

Romans 6:16
"Do YOU not know that if YOU keep presenting yourselves to anyone as slaves to obey him, YOU are slaves of him because YOU obey him, either of sin with death in view or of obedience with righteousness in view?

We clearly see here that we become slaves to those whom we obey. Our only Masters must be God and Christ. It says that obeying (slaving) for anyone else is a sin (with death in view).

Please consider the following scriptures:
1 Corinthians 7:23
"YOU were bought with a price; stop becoming slaves of men.”

Galatians 1:10
"Is it, in fact, men I am now trying to persuade or God? Or am I seeking to please men? If I were yet pleasing men, I would not be Christ’s slave."
(So not only obeying men is wrong...even seeking to please them, is.)

Colossians 3:24
"for YOU know that it is from Jehovah YOU will receive the due reward of the inheritance. SLAVE for the Master, Christ.”

Gal.5:1
"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."

Rom.8:15
"The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."
-----------------------

Do men have the power to give everlasting life or immortality? Some of them think they do! (and they expect others to act [and worship] accordingly) (Gal.2:4)

Any true and faithful servant of God would never expect the obedience of others for themselves. They would only hope that others would show their obedience to God, his Word, and his Laws. In this way, they will enjoy the peace of God (Isa.48:18,17).
If a proclaimed servant of God expects and enforces something in return (This does not have to be limited to money.), in exchange for spiritual provisions...
then they have become "peddlers of the word" (2Cor.2:17; 4:2; 2Pet.2:3)...merchants in God's Temple (Luke19:45; John2:16,15)... seeking their own gain (1Pet.5:2; John7:18). These disobey the commands of Christ and God (Matt.10:8; 5:44,45,48; James1:5; Isa.55:1,2; Rev.3:18; 22:17; 19:9; Matt.22:9,10). For it is as if God has generously provided His Son's wedding feast for the benefit of all willing to attend,...
and these peddlers dare to stand outside, charging admission for their own pockets!
We do not owe any man (other than Christ) anything for what God provides.
To expect anything in return (recognition, honor, prominence, subjection, etc.) for being a messenger of heavenly bread or living water, is wrong (Num.20:10,12; Luke 17:10) (Rev.13:17; 6:6; 18:3,23; 22:8-9; 19:10; 1Cor.14:32; Rev.22:6) (Luke 16:2,10,11,12).

If peace were derived from unquestioning obedient subjection to those who take the lead among God's Nation; then why did Christ not give such subjection to the religious leaders of his day?
Jesus did not feel obliged to teach according to the doctrines of those leaders. He regarded God alone, as his teacher (John 12:49). His faithful and true brothers imitate him (Matt.10:20,27; John 7:16,17,18; 1Pet.2:21; Gal.1:11,12).
We need not hold to the teachings of men (Matt.15:9; Isa.29:13; Mark 7:7), but must hold to the teachings of Christ (John 8:31; Rom.3:4; 2Tim.3:16,17; Ps.119:104,105; 2Pet.1:19; Rev.22:16; 2:28; Luke 8:18; Rev.3:17,19).
Although the WT claims that they merely forward the teachings of Christ; So many of their arrangements, expectations, behavior, and rules, prove otherwise (Isa.29:13; Luke 12:1,2; Rev.22:18,19) (1Sam.8:11,12,13,14,15,16; Rev.18:7,13).
When they go beyond what is written in the Bible (1Cor.4:6; 2John 1:9), they dare enforce compliance and subjection to them and their unscriptural doctrines, through expulsion (which they deem to be spiritual death) (John 16:2; Rev.13:15,8,4). They imitate the pompous Scribes and Pharisees, who handed their brother over to Gentiles to be killed! (John 8:40; Rev.11:7,8; John 18:29,30; Mark 10:33; Luke 18:32; Rev.11:2; Matt.23:34,35; Rev.18:24)
Even God's own Son did not condemn others to eternal death! (John 3:17; Matt.7:1-3; John 12:48-49; Rev.20:12)
Apparently, the WT "elders" are more righteous (Ec.7:16), and have more authority to condemn to Gehenna (John16:2; Rev.11:7),
than Jesus Christ does (Matt.28:18; John 5:22,27; Matt.12:37; Luke 6:45,44; Matt.7:19).
(pearl-disgustingthing.blogspot.com)
We are in reality, simply judged by Truth, as expressed by God through Christ (John 12:48-49; 6:63).
We either believe that truth and teach it, or we pervert and exploit it for our own power and glory (John 7:18,17; 16:13).
That truth will be fully revealed (and those who truly teach it), in the time of the end
(Dan.12:4; Rev.20:12; John 16:13-14,8,14; Rev.22:6; 11:3; John16:13; Rev.22:6; Zech.4:9).
(pearl-newscrolls.blogspot.com)

We must be discerning, when choosing to accept the words of a prophet
(1John4:1; Matt.7:20; 24:4-5; Col.2:8; Rev.13:10,7; 19:20; Phil.2:12; 2Cor.11:3; 1Thess.5:20,21,22; 2Thess.2:1-3; 2Cor.11:13; Matt.24:24-25).
(pearl-finetrees.blogspot.com Matt.7:20)
Those who are false, will be destroyed, along with those who follow them
(1Tim.4:1; Rev.16:13-16; Matt.24:24-25; 2Thess.2:8; John 20:22; Zech.4:6-7; Dan.8:25; Eze.14:10; Rev.13:11,15,8).
The "peace" touted by the unfaithful "merchants", will not last (Jer.6:14; 1Thess.5:3; Isa.28:15,18; 47:7,9,10,11; Rev.18:7,8; Ps.69:22; Eze.13:10).

Jesus made clear, that it is God alone whom we must serve (Matt.4:10; 22:37; Isa.40:18,25; 48:11; 42:8). We may think we can exchange our worship of God, to a worship of those whom we believe to represent Him; but this act is not acceptable to God. Yet, it was prophesied to happen in the time of the end (Rev.13:8; Jer.7:9,10; 25:27,28,29,30; Rev.14:19).
-----------------
God warns us about false leaders/wicked stewards, who prophesy peace to His people, when peace with God does not truly exist, due to sin (Jer.23:16,17,15; Rev.8:11; Deut.29:18; Jer.14:15; Rev.6:8; Zech.13:1,2; Isa.30:22; Rev.13:15,8; 19:20). Such idolatrous sin exists today, as fervent and loyal "JW's" worship the Beast Organization and it's harlotrous governing leaders, who seek glory for themselves, not for God (Rev.2:20; Isa.1:21; 59:3,14,15; 48:1,2; 58:2,1; Rev.8:6; Jer.2:20; Titus 1:16; Hosea11:12; Isa.10:22; Jer.44:14; Hosea1:10; Joel2:32; 1Pet.3:20; Luke17:26,30).

WHEN TO FLEE

Rev.18:4
"4 Then I heard another voice from heaven say:

“‘Come out of her, my people,’
so that you will not share in her sins,
so that you will not receive any of her plagues"

Luke 21:20,21
"20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city."

Jerusalem will be split open in the time of the end (Luke 21:11; Jer.6:1; Amos 1:1; Zech.14:1,2,3,4,5,7,8,9; Rev.6:12; 8:5; 11:13,19; 16:18).
At that time, the "earth" and the works in it, will be discovered/revealed/exposed (2Pet.3:10; Isa.33:14).
The "heavens" who rule over God's people, will be removed (2Pet.3:11,12,13,14; Matt.23:12; Job 22:29; Dan.4:17; Rev.11:12; 1Pet.5:6; Mal.3:18).
BOTH aspects/"sides" of Jerusalem will be "surrounded by armies".

The "armies" that surround "Jerusalem" in the time of the end, are the locust scorpions of Rev.9:7,3
(Isa.33:4; 2Chron.7:13,14,19,20,21,22; Dan.11:38; Rev.2:20; Jer.46:22,23,24; Rev.11:8; Jer.51:14; Joel 2:1; 1:4; Nahum 3:15,16,17).
They are spiritual Gentiles...meaning that they are not spiritual Jews (the anointed).
(Note: In comparing 2Chron.7:22 and Dan.11:38 above, can you see that those who forsake the God of their ancestors, are NOT worldly political governments? The "disgusting thing" is a sin of God's own people.)

These "Gentiles" first trample the HOLY City (directed to do so by the unfaithful Harlot)...
(Rev.11:2; 17:6; Dan.8:24; 2Thess.2:4; 1Cor.3:16)
...And then the UNFAITHFUL City/Harlot gets trampled by those whom she used to direct and endorse.
[Eze.16:2,15,24,26,28,29,30,32,35,36,37,38,39; Rev.17:1,6,16,17,18; (Rev.5:10); Rev.18:8,18,20,24; Matt.23:35,37,38]
The very Gentile Beast who served the Harlot and gave her the power to judge and destroy Christ's brothers (by means of her Gentile Beast -Rev.11:7), will then turn on "her".

So then, what about Luke 21:20?

When we see the chosen ones "surrounded" by Gentiles, due to the Gentile's desire to conquer the Holy Ones (Rev.13:7);
then it is time to flee.
They will not stop with the least of Christ's brothers.
God will also put it into their heart to turn on the "greatest" of his brothers also...
those who have taken power in this world to dominate and oppress their fellow slaves (Matt.24:49; 1Cor.4:8,10,12,13,18,19; Luke 16:2; Rev.18:7,8,14,18,20; 1John2:15; Dan.11:37,38).

To clarify this, Matt.24:15,16 supplements Luke 21:20,21.
Note what Jesus said, at Matt.24:15,16...
“So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains."
If you examine the context to Matt.24:15,16 and Luke 21:20,21; You will see that they are identical.
It is no mistake to combine these two scriptures.
So then,
to see "Jerusalem" surrounded by Gentiles (Luke 19:43), is associated with a "disgusting thing, standing in a Holy Place". We are directed by Jesus to examine Daniel for understanding this disgusting thing (Matt.24:15).
(Dan.9:27; 11:31; 2Thess.2:4; Rev.11:2)
The "abomination"/"disgusting thing", conquers the Remnant of Holy Ones,
just as the "Wild Beast" does (Rev.13:7,18). These are two of many scriptural
   manifestations of the same identity.
WHEN YOU SEE/perceive THIS REALITY,
IT IS TIME TO FLEE, according to Jesus (Matt.24:15,16; Luke 21:20,21).
The attack and expulsion of the faithful and them fleeing to the Judean Mountains in the wilderness, is then followed by the collapse of the entire unfaithful "City"/"Temple", just as occurred in first century Jerusalem.

Jesus tells us, in reference to this fleeing,
"On that day, let no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. 32 Remember Lot’s wife! 33 Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it." (Luke 17:31-33)

If you, or anyone, perceives the anointed being surrounded, trampled, dominated, and enslaved to those not anointed (Gentiles)...
or if you perceive that God's Temple priesthood has been given over to those not chosen by God for that position
(Eze.44:6,7,8,9; 2 Chronicles 23:6,7; Numbers 18:7; Mal.2:7),
[such as non-anointed elders who disfellowship anointed who remain faithful to Christ and scriptural truth (Rom.8:33; John16:2; Matt.25:40)],
then you see the disgusting thing, "where it does not belong" (Mark.13:14).

The Wild Beast/locust-scorpions/man of lawlessness/disgusting thing...
is willing to take over God's Temple priesthood, and "kill" them for the ruling Harlot, because she is the "bestower of crowns"/(power/authority) (Isa.23:8; Rev.9:3,7).
Apparently, the cowardice of the Harlot prevents her from directly confronting her brothers in Christ. She refuses to meet with them personally over these differences of opinion. (Matt.18:25; Isa.50:8; 54:17; Luke10:19). The scriptures must prevail in all matters of judgment. Yet the elders and GB do not want to hear the scriptures. They are only interested in whether or not you are in subjection to them and that you worship the Organization. The Harlot sends her henchmen to enforce the idolatry.
If you do not submit,
you will be "killed" (Rev.13:15; 11:7; John16:2; Rev.6:9,10,11; 12:10,11; 20:4).

This splitting and division between the remnant of the Chosen Ones (Matt.13:30), is the whole essence of Armageddon [1Tim.4:1; Rev.16:13,14,15,16; 17:14; 19:11,14,8 -(Rev.6:11; 3:5) Rev.19:19,20]. This warfare is "necessary", to complete the harvest of the "earth" (Rev.14:15,16; Matt.24:6; Dan.9:26; Gen.3:15) and the impeachment of Satan (Rev.12:10,11; 6:9).

If you would like more understanding about when to flee,
I suggest a study of the scriptures cited in many posts at http://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/
Go to the searchbox to the right, and enter "flee".
You will find a few pages of results.
This one in particular, may prove helpful:

Thank you for your vital and good question.
I apologize for the delay in replying.
Please pray for me and my divine assignment.
It grows increasingly difficult to accomplish. Yet God's spirit is the source of His will being accomplished, not our own strength
(2Cor.12:9,10; 2Chron.32:7,8; Zech.4:6; Dan.2:34; Isa.51:1; Hosea 1:7; Isa.2:11; 30:1; Jer.17:5).
