New Covenant -- For Whom?

UPDATE TO "Who Should Partake?" as follows;
 (Clarifications added)

"There were "many" who "put faith in Jesus", even among the Jewish leaders. (John 8:30; 12:11,42; 7:31; 11:42,45; 2:23)      None of them were at the Lord's evening meal, except the ones Jesus "chose" (John13:1,18; 14:3; 15:16).  These four verses were spoken only to the 11 during that last evening meal.
Of those few Jesus said, "I chose you twelve, did I not?", and
"You did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you to bear fruit...fruit that will last." (John6:70; 15:16) These can only "bear fruit", because they are branches of the one vine, Christ (John15:5,4,8
A bridegroom chooses his own bride. But when we choose to simply put faith in Christ, that is our own choice. Putting faith in, and being chosen, are two different things.
So which is it? Did Christ die for his bride? Or, did he die for all those putting faith in him?
The answer, is that he first dies (during the period of the New Covenant with spiritual Israel) only for his bride (Eph.1:3-23; 5:23,25,26,27,30; Rev.21:2; 5:9,10; 7:15,14; 20:6). The members of the body of Christ are "firstfruits"...first to be ransomed (Rev.20:6; James1:18; Rev.14:4) under the new mother covenant, "Jerusalem above", established by the blood of Christ (Gal.4:24,26). How do all others receive life? (1John2:2) This Bride becomes one with Christ, and she symbolically demonstrates that unity by taking Christ into herself, making him one with her (1John4:4; Matt.19:6; 1Cor.6:17; Eph.2:18; John17:21) (Gal.4:19; Rev.12:2). The result is the sealed "woman's" "seed"  consist of both, firstfruits and children to follow the firstfruits. (being designated firstfruits has nothing to do with timing. There were first fruits and second fruits in the first Century as well as there are today.  Both receive life through the sealed woman.  Birth order is not strictly chronologically, but is a designation of divine "choice".)   They both receive life...THROUGH THE WOMAN / the sealed Bride of Christ (Rev.22:17; Heb.1:14; John7:38; Matt.10:40,41; John6:63; Phil.2:16).....the "firstborn", who are caught up to heaven (Rev.12:5; Eph.2:6) and also all her seed "on earth" (Rev.12:17; 22:17).

The following scriptures demonstrate that the purpose of the emblems, is initially for that bride of Christ...
"For we, though many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake of that one bread." (1Cor.10:17)
This partaking of the bread, is for those who are the parts of the body of Christ (1Cor.12:27). Can you see that?
Who is one body with Christ, if not his chosen wife? He is the savior of that wife/body, through the ransom of his blood (Eph.5:23,25,26,27,30; Rev.21:2,3; 5:9,10). He also becomes the savour/life giver/everlasting father (1John2:2; John10:10; Isa.9:6; 1Cor.15:45), to those of his children, who come through his heavenly wife (Eph.2:6; Luke10:20; Gal.4:26; Rev.12:2; Heb.12:22,24,23; Matt.5:48,45; 22:10; Rev.22:17)."

  1. Hello Pearl, so those who are of the Bride class (anointed) partake & I am right in understanding that ones in association with the bride class should also partake?

    1. Sorry....when I first posted this comment, I found omissions and mistakes. They are now all fixed...I hope :)

No, because they are not in the New Covenant, which is for those who Christ chose as his Bride.
The rest come to life through the Bride and through Christ...the second Adam and second Eve (Gen.3:20; Gal.4:26).
Your confusion may come from not perceiving the detail, that the covenant in heaven is a promise, until that promise is fulfilled.
The covenant is only a promise until fulfillment, just as when a woman is engaged.
During the engagement period, Jerusalem above is a promise (Gal.4:28,26). The New Covenant (Gal.4:24,26) is a promise to those chosen who remain chaste virgins (Rev.14:5,4), that they will become sealed into the heavenly woman...becoming her, the mother of the living to follow her.
Once this occurs, the New Covenant is fulfilled (Rom.8:24). That hope is completely fulfilled for all 144,000, at the time Christ arrives (1Cor.11:26). This is why partaking ends at that time.
The only ones that have been redeemed to be eternally alive, at that point, are the 144000... who are also at that point, New Jerusalem.
Eternal life is given after that point, through the new Adam and Eve...the founders of the New Creation.
All their children to follow will live forever. During this restoration, there is no partaking, because the promise above is not for the hope for the children, but for those who become their mother. The children live through the sacrifice of both parents, not just through Christ (Rom.6:5; Rev.6:9,11; 19:7,8). Eph.5:25 makes clear who Christ died for (Luke22:19).
God's Kingdom and it's completed administration is the hope for the rest of the new creation, not the New Covenant, which will pass away when it is realized in the Bride (Rom.8:19,21). The eternal covenant of God's Kingdom, is the hope of all creation...
not the Thousand Year kingdom of Christ, during which the Bride members "come to life" (1John3:14)....those of the FIRST ressurection (Rev.20:6)...by means of their bridegroom's love (John15:13,14; 13:1). 1Cor.11:29,27 speaks of partaking unworthily, due to not discerning the body. What body? The body one with Christ, which is the Bride (Eph.5:23; 1:22,23). 1Cor.11:28 compels someone considering partaking, to discern if they are part of that body (1Cor.12:18,28). His body is God's Temple (John2:19,21; 1Cor.12:27; 1Cor.3:16; 1Pet.2:5,9; Eph.4:11,12). Can you discern that body?

  2. So the watchtower is correcting in say only the anointed should partake, so what of the other followers of christ? Do they do do as the Jw's by just passing the emblems along without actually partaking, surely we should all remember Christ during this time?

    1. If you read the previous link I supplied, you know that there were many who put faith in Jesus in the first century.
These were not invited by Christ to be present at the inaugurate Evening Meal.
This is in consistent with 1Cor.11:33, which depicts those who gather, as partakers.
I have never refused attendance to those who wished to witness this occasion, to experience the talks, songs, and comments.
But the scriptures only compel the members of Christ's body, to gather.

Care and concern for Christ should be ongoing on the part of all Christ's disciples, anointed and not.
How did Jesus himself direct demonstrating that care and concern for him?
      According to Matt.25:40 and Matt.10:40,41,42 (Prov.19:17)
the primary way to do that is through the treatment of his Bride
      (Heb.6:10; Rom.16:2; 12:13; 15:25; Matt.25:45,46).
This is not once a year, but should be a constant love.
This idea ties well into the next truth...

There is an occasion that all are invited to attend.
That is the Marriage of the Lamb (Rev.19:9).
Jesus told us that when it finally arrives, those initially invited are no longer worthy to attend,
due to their lack of regard for the provisions prepared (Matt.22:2,3,4,5,6,8).
The Marriage Feast is provided by God the Father (Matt.22:2; Dan.7:9,10,13; Rev.5:7),
and is the provision of life to the obedient (Rev.20:11,12),
through which Banquet, all receive the True Sayings of God (Rev.19:9).
That feast of the seven seals being opened, is first given to Christ (Rev.5:2,5,7).
He then gives it to his bride (John15:15; Luke12:37)

As Christ feeds his Bride the opening of the Scrolls,
      through the arrangement of His Body (Rev.1:1; 3:20; 10:7; 1Cor.4:1; Luke8:18; 12:37)
she shares it with all in attendance (Rev.22:16,17), both righteous and unrighteous (Matt.22:9,10).
But there is a requirement in order to be served.
It is a wedding garment (Matt.22:11,12,13), which is loving kindness (Col.3:12) toward the Lord's Bride...
not once a year, or just at the wedding, but also during her tribulations and persecution (Matt.25:35,36,37,38,39,40).
This brings us back to the need for *consistent kindness, toward those who in essence,
sacrifice their lives to lovingly become an eternal mother to the living
      (1Cor.4:13; Acts14:22; Phil.3:8; Matt.16:24,25) --- (1Thess.2:7; Gal.4:19; 1John2:1; 3John1:4).

Once again, the Marriage Feast is made up of the Truth from God (Rev.19:9; 21:6).
His sayings mean life to any who receive them during that Feast (John12:49,50).
Those who obey them will live (John6:63; Rev.22:17; 20:12)

The Lord's Evening Meal is for those of the New Covenant, who share in the death of Christ (Rom.6:5; Rev.11:8; Heb.13:13).
The Lord's Wedding Feast is for all others, "righteous and unrighteous", who have proper regard for the occasion, it's hosts, and it's provisions.
